Sera woke bright and early, which is now part of her new routine. She took a quick shower, brushed her hair, and dressed for the day. Sif and she decided that their morning training should be earlier due to the number of uncomfortable soldiers irking Sif. Men often think they can beat Sif in a fight or challenge, and if the great lady warrior refuses then they degrade her credibility. Sera felt bad that Sif always has to prove herself even when she is a highly respected warrior. Sera put on black Asgardian training pants and a deep blue shirt that she would cover with armor when training. The princess made her way to the dining hall to grab a few fruits and then head to training. When she walked in she spotted Loki, sitting there reading and eating. A part of her wanted to turn around and leave but she thought that it was better this way. She walked in picking at some fruit. She could feel his eyes on her back, making her want to claw herself. "Good morning." She commented.

"Good morning, daughter." He replied simply, watching her turn to face him. Loki was amazed by how much she looked like her mother. Due to eating normally, Sera has gotten her skin color back to normal almost the shade of his former lover. Her face shape, eye shape, and lip shape were practically identical. Loki started to notice how the color blue made her look so much more like her mother. He couldn't even think of her name. "Frigga cannot train you today, so I shall start training you again. We can start once you finish eating."

"I can't. Sif trains me after breakfast. I usually go to Frigga after I am done with Sif." She sat across from him, eating her grapes rather annoyingly. Loki looked bothered, hating when things messed with his schedule but he nodded.

"Tomorrow is the feast so we will not train. " He stated, and her brows furrowed remembering it was tomorrow. "Have you forgotten?"

"Yes, I have been so tired with the training I have not realized it was tomorrow." She spoke, taking a quick last bite of her meal and getting up. "I shall see you in an hour or so, Loki." Loki heard her emphasis on his name and tried his best to ignore it. He could not be angered by her actions because they were deserving. He was a murderer, a liar, and a thief. The worst part is that he still did not care about the lives he took nor feel remorse- no matter what influence he was under. He and Her mother were the perfect pair. Loki sighed, getting up. He knew was not deserving of his daughter, but that didn't stop him from watching her.

Sera walked into the arena spotting Sif, making her way towards the fighter. Sif began to notice the change in Sera's body. With proper nutrition and training, Sera's muscles began to form. Her arms had a nice curve to it showing strength and her body was getting more toned. "Good morning oh soldier Sif!" Sera called out in a playful tone making the warrior shake her head. "How are you this fine and beautiful Asgardian day?"

"You seem very elated," Sif commented, putting armor on the teenager. "Would you like to fight with a sword or daggers today?"

"Daggers, give those poor swords a break." Sera spoke picking up her daggers. Sif had already charged at her full force knocking Sera to the ground taking one dagger. Loki watched in horror seeing how hard Sera was hit. He knew he could not interfere, that would start another argument between him and his daughter. Sera stood up incredibly fast, tripping the Lady Sif and trying her hardest to get her second dagger back. Sera reached leaving an open spot on her torso. Sif took the opportunity to knee her and pushing her down. Sif held a dagger to Sera's throat and used her own body weight to prevent Sera from using her other dagger.

"Do you know what your mistake was?" Sif questioned dropping the dagger from the princess' throat.

"Wasn't quick enough ?"

"You focused your mind on the dagger you lost meanwhile you had another dagger in your hand. Do not focus on what you lost unless that weapon was your only line of defense, understood?" Sif questioned, making Sera nod. Sif picked up both daggers and smirked. "Now try to take both of them from me."

Sera walked into her typical area where she would train with Loki seeing him waiting impatiently. "You're late." He almost spat.

"Am not."

"You said one hour. It has passed an hour."

"I said one hour or so. Indicating I can be over one hour." She proved him wrong, annoying him further. "You know how Sif is. Fight to the death and all." It wasn't that Loki was annoyed at Sera but he was annoyed at the situation in particular. He noticed the sweat seeping through her shirt and her achy body, wondering why Sif was training her so hard. His daughter did not need to be a warrior because she will be protected. If not protected by others then her magic will be in defense. He is not putting his daughter on the line. "What are we practicing today?"

"How about we learn flying? There is a spell that can help you-"

"I rather do illusions." She interrupted, surprising the god. He was certain she wanted to master flight or levitation. He turned around to ponder on how to let her down lightly.

"Levitations are rather difficult, you need extreme focus. Are you sure you are read-"

"I am ready. I mastered shields with Frigga...well sort of. But I want to try this." She spoke. Something changed about her since he went away. He turned to look at her once more. Her confidence was better and she was assertive. She had demanding eyes and responses close to a queen. Oh, how he rather his daughter rule the throne rather than Thor's son.

"There are certain illusions that you can use a spell and it is instant and easier-"

"I want the harder one."

"Sera you mustn't strain yourself especially with tomorrow being your celebration." 'Celebration?' She questioned herself but kept proceeding with her original plan.

"Just let me try...Please?"

"Fine." Loki sighed rubbing his temple. "Focus on what you want to see." He watched her close her eyes, trying her hardest to get the image in front of her. "In battle, you will not have time to do this or if you are trying to trick someone."

"Sorry that my teacher is not good."

"Not good? I am the best soc-" He stopped short seeing her body slowly disappear. Turning his head he saw her in the doorway. "You knew how."

"Yes, and you doubted me."

"Frigga never told me you were able to-"

"I learned by myself. However, I struggle to make illusions grand or more complicated than me just sitting there." She spoke and Loki stared.

"You are far too early to be doing anything like this."

"But clearly I am doing it." Sera smirked, "Are you ready? I want to get better at this!

Sera walked through the gardens taking a break from reading. Her head started to hurt trying to track lines especially her mother's. Sera was never told her mother's name, making it extremely difficult especially when Sera is nowhere mentioned in the books. Sera wanted to ask someone for her name but feared it would cause issues or complications. Sera sat by the front of the garden, played with the petals of a rose when shouts were heard, making her jump. "WHY DO YOU NOT JUST LIVE ON MIDGARD? STAY WITH THAT MIDGARDIAN WHORE-"

"MAGNI, WATCH YOUR TONE!"

"I HATE YOU. YOU RENOUNCE THE THRONE FOR HER! WHAT ABOUT ME? YOU LEAVE ME! I SHOULD BE YOUR TOP PRIORITY!" Sera heard a loud band followed by Magni storming out of the room. They locked eyes. She saw how bloodshot they looked and the anger as he stormed right past her. Sera could not help but feel guilty. Magni's father wants a life that doesn't include him and he would give everything up for Jane but not of him. Sera turned around following Magni to a training arena. She wanted to help him. She admitted she was being selfish, instead of giving him space she is pushing herself into his life. The princess never saw this part of the arena. It was very much secluded. 'Lady Sif would appreciate a place like this.' Sera thought looking around. "Why are you following me?" She heard Magni spat at her as he rummaged through weapons.

"I wanted to make sure you were alright."

"I do not wish to talk of my feelings. I only want to fight."

"I can fight." Sera persisted, making the son of thor stare at her. He had noticed her in the training arena with Sif even in the late hours, but he had not said any word of it. He knew that Sera wanted different things than others expected of her. "You don't have to go easy on me. I mean don't rip my head off but I am not scared of cuts and bruises." Magni could not help but admire her, she has changed in the little time that she was here.

"Your father would murder me if I caused harm to you."

"I do not care." She spoke

"No weapons." He declared much to Sera's disapproval and aimed to hit her. Sera ducking his punch, turned her body around to kick him. Magni smirked knowing he did not have to hold back. Sera lifted herself, using her core to high kick Magni to the ground.

"Don't go easy." She breathed, ducking his backhand.

Sera and Magni must have been sparring for hours due to the darkness of the sky. "We should go to the dining hall. If our fathers notice both our disappearance who knows what they will think. They worry foolishly." Sera couldn't help but take in Magni's sweaty body, his muscles, and slightly grown in facial hair due to him not shaving this morning. Blush risen to her cheeks, realizing where her thoughts were going and tried to shake them off.

"You're right." She agreed, walking with him to the dining hall in silence. A comfortable silence. Magni did not thank her for her aid today but she knew he appreciated it. Deep down the future king hopes this will become part of their routine. Entering the dining hall all eyes set on them- especially their fathers. Loki noticed their heavy breathing and sweaty clothes. He noticed the bruises and scrapes against both of their skins proving they had a fair fight. Loki could not help but be disturbed by it. She wanted a fight, she keeps wanting a fight. With Sif, she trains till her body gives and now with Magni, she fights till the pain is too unbearable. Loki did not like her anger outlet and wished her to rely on magic. He tried to stop comparing her to the child she used to be because right now she refuses to be claimed as his own. He did not want her to engage in war. He wanted her to engage in knowledge, become a queen, not a warrior. The awkwardness in the room grew as Magni and Thor ignored each other. Everyone had their separate conversations and Sera spoke to Magni mostly. Loki noticed them laughing together, talking about fighting strategies. A part of the mischief prince wanted his daughter to hate Magni and refuse friendship. He wanted people to beg to be her ally, not the other way around.

Loki also noticed the amount of food Sera ate was exceptional and she was happy. Over an hour has passed and Sera was the last person at the dining table, still eating. "You are rather hungry," Loki commented, trying to get a meaningful conversation out of her.

"Mhm.." She said while chewing. She was savoring her last bite.

"I have something to give you." He added, "I will walk you to your room and give it to you then."

Sera did not want to walk with him or receive whatever he wanted to give her but she did not protest. They walked towards her room in awkward silence. She was always a few steps ahead of him with tightened muscles. When she got to the door she refused to let him in, blocking the doorway with her body. Loki sighed, angered by her behavior. "What do you want to give me?" He noticed her clenched fists and almost fear in her eyes. It hurt Loki knowing that Sera feared him. Loki reached in his pocket, making the girl tense. Slowly, he handed her a small pouch. Sera raised her eyebrow at him as Loki gestured for her to open it. She gently opened the pouch showing a handful of Painite gems. Sera recalled reading about these gems and how useful and powerful they are to sorcerers and sorceress. They are extremely rare a few in the realms and here in her hand's shes holding more than one. Her eyes locked with his in amazement. "You found these yourself? " She questioned, sounding overjoyed.

"Yes, that is why Frigga and I were gone for so long. You should always keep these on you in case of an emergency. It can make you do exceptional things, show you things, protect, heal, save a life..." Loki trailed.

"Why are you giving me this?" Her stern voice came back. She did not want to be tricked with gifts or faked into love.

"As a gift, for tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" Sera questioned confused. She knew it was her feast but it was just a party to her.

"Your date of birth." He spoke

"Tomorrow is my birthday? " Sera asked, making Loki feel dumbstruck. She would not know her true date of birth and here he was giving her gifts and overwhelming her. "I will be sixteen?"

"Indeed, since your body is still human. My apologies I do not mean to overwhelm you."

"I-No, thank you for telling me and for this gift. So, everyone, there is going to wish me a happy birthday tomorrow ?"

"Yes, not so Midgardian but yes." He answered, sensing she was starting to get uncomfortable. "I bid you good night and an uh... happy birthday." He spoke leaving her at the door with no response.

hey guys so I was thinking of adding another story bc I kinda got into this. It would be a love story about a fallen lover of Loki. Do you think I should name her Sigyn or should I just pick a different name?
