Sera sat in her father's training arena, watching him skillfully work. The room screamed Loki as it was covered in colors of green, black, and gold. Sera couldn't help but find it odd how they are so invested in their colors as if they own them. The room was similar to Frigga's in a sense of books on the shelves and random items that seem to have little importance. Her eyes landed on her father. He was sitting with his eyes closed. The sweat was beating off of his face and the dark circles under his eyes were noticeable. She could feel the magic pouring off of him if that made sense. She could feel his power stretch for miles to no end. She was unsure what he was doing but whatever it was looked of great importance. Sera tried to imagine what he was doing or saying in his head working so tediously. The ice has been taken care of by Loki so what more is there to do? She watched as he struggled to keep focus, often twitching. The teenager couldn't help but wonder if this is her destiny, to be the great sorcerer her father is. Or perhaps her destiny is to die. The sudden thought sent shivers down her spine remembering those words. 'He wants the baby.' She could just ask Loki who her great grandfather was but that was probably not a good idea. Sera felt as though she was sitting there for hours watching him work so strangely. Finally, he let out an aggravated sigh and opened his eyes. They looked as though the life was drained from him. "What were you doing?" Sera asked innocently, twirling with her hair. She feels so nervous around him.

"Wiping memories." He answered, causing her to raise an eyebrow. "I erased everyone's memory of the ice. No one knows what you have done, not even Frigga."

"What about the people outside the palace? " She questioned

"I took care of them as well," Loki spoke, rubbing his temple. "I am unsure what Odin would do if he knew the extent of your gifts." Curses. She mentally corrected.

"You must be powerful," Sera noted, realizing she had not thanked him. "I really am sorry. Thank you for your help."

"That is the last of our worries." He commented, almost rejecting her thanks. Loki was mad at her, yes. He almost wanted to scold her for not coming to him. However, he could not stay mad knowing she did not go to anyone. There was no person she put above him no one knew, not even Thor. He felt delighted that Thor had no knowledge of her actions. However, what really excited him was that this help could mend their relationship. "Inform me, what you have done with the gem?"

"I used a memory spell." She answered truthfully. Loki's eyes widened.

"Do you know how dangerous that is? You could have killed yourself."

"I-I didn't know."

"Perhaps you should attempt to read the spell in its entirety. It informs the consequence."

"I did not know magic came with a consequence."

"Everything comes with a consequence, my dear." He spoke, sitting down next to her. She tensed a bit but suddenly let it go, feeling almost comfortable. "You were giving yourself seizures."

"Why?" She asked, "how? "

"For starters, your mother is dead. Her memories are harder to obtain causing more strain on your body. Another issue is that you are infiltrating her mind...well what was once was her mind." He spoke. Sera noticed that he was thinking more out loud than informing. "I did not know one can infiltrate the minds of the dead. It shall get worse on your body. I am surprised you're alive."

"How do we make it stop?" She asked. Loki couldn't help this prideful feeling when she said we. 'We' as if they were a team.

"We have to stop the memories. We have to use another Painite gem, it shall reverse the effects."

"I-I don't want to let her go," Sera admitted honestly. Loki stared at his daughter unsure why she felt this way. Her mother turned into a horrid creature, how could she want this. Sera could not help the voice in her head repeating, 'He wants the baby.' Sera looked up seeing her father's confused face. "She is my mother. She makes half of me. I want to know of her even if she is a monster."

"I would have told you about her. If you had asked me, I would have told you."

"You and I are not on the best of terms."

"That may be true however I would still aid you," he spoke softly, trying to be as gentle as possible. He tried his hardest to be delicate with her. Sera tiled her head back, leaning against the wall. "What did you see?" Sera did not know whether or not to tell him.

"I saw the day you two were married, you both looked so happy." She spoke, making Loki almost smile. How he used to love his Adelia. He would actually give up the throne for her. Sera stayed quiet, afraid to reveal more. Why couldn't she just tell him the truth?

"Let us take this spell from you carefully."

"I do not understand why carefully?"

"If the painite gems cracks or comes into contact with a wound it kills you."

"Why wouldn't you tell me this before?!"

"Well, I did not think you would use it right away! Forgive me for thinking you had intellect."

"You really are annoying. " She breathed, but Loki decided to ignore it.

"Come, let us fix this. Tomorrow we shall start us working on controlling ice."

It has been a week since the initial incident and Loki had her training harder. He would try to spend the first half of their session working on her Jotunn side, which was hard. She struggled to make that side of her come out or commanding the ice on her own. Sera sat in their usual training area with Loki. She had just come back from Sif and she was extremely frustrated. The effects of training were becoming more apparent in the young girl. Her body had more chiseled muscles growing by the day, and her moves were getting better. She was getting better. She often beams with pride when she wins against Sif or even Magni. She is starting to become a worthy opponent. Sometimes Loki comes, without her knowing, and watches. 'She fights like her mother.' He often thought, watching the way she steps, or how she calculates the fight. Sera decided to let things calm down before she continues the search of her mother. Loki would definitely try to be more apart of her life now, which makes it more troublesome for her to hide things.

"Try harder," Loki spoke, ever so annoying the young girl.

"I just can't do it! It doesn't want to come! What am I suppose to do? How do you get yours? "

"I can just command it."

"Well good for you."

"Sera, it has been a week of this. Try to focus. " Sera closed her eyes trying to think of things to help her- the cold, the ice, and the blue. She felt the air in her bones but nothing came. Nothing came for minutes. She let out a cry of anger.

"I don't understand!" She yelled. "I suck."

"I can assume sucking is negative?" He questioned and she nodded. "You do not suck. You struggle, we will find a way. If not, I shall keep aiding you however I can."

"Thanks," She said. She felt so odd around him.

"Let us move on to some spells, shall we? "

Sera walked head high through the palace. She does not often come to this part but she wanted to speak to Hal. At first, she thought it was best to have him cool off, but after some time she did not like it. She no longer saw him around the halls, or the library or the gardens. She decided that now she will go to him to talk. She walked into a fairly large room, full of working Asgardians. They were staring at screens, fixing things, and even working on newer inventions Sera had not seen yet. If she didn't come here with a purpose she would be in awe of the number of computers and the minds behind it all. Her eyes caught the sight of Hal's messy hair and big glasses. "Hal!" She called, walking towards him. The annoyed look in his face made her stomach turn with guilt.

"What might I help you with, Princess?" The hate was dripping from his voice.

"I wanted to talk."

"I have work to attend to."

"I can cancel your duties for the day."

"Ah, the princess is learning how to use her royal status."

"Why do you hate me so?" Sera asked, exhaustion in her eyes. "I was honest with you. I did not lie. I would never hurt you, Hal, you are my best friend." She placed her cold hands on him, making him almost smile to her touch.

"It is not that you do not love me. It is that you love him." The sourness in his voice could be detected by the stupidest of minds. Hal hated Magni with all of his might. That prince had it all and despite his boorish attitude he still gets the girl. There are times Hal wishes he was the prince, oh how different of a prince he would be, and maybe just maybe he would get her. Sera. Her eyes so green he would stare into them all day if he was the prince. If he only had her heart.

"Love is a very strong word. " She protested.

"Well do you not?" He questioned, seeing her fallen face. "Sera, marry me."

"W-What? " Her dumbfounded expression caused Hal to smirk.

"Be my betrothed."

"You really lost some marbles. We are kids why would I marry?"

"It is not uncommon for young Asgardians to get betrothed. Marry me. If you want to keep me in your life, marry me." He tried to give her the ultimatum. It was clear that Hal's life of constant losing was catching up to him. He would do anything to secure her as his.

"Hal, I can't. I can't marry." She said, "I can't marry someone I am not in love with I truly am sorry. I want you to be my friend."

"I cannot be just friends with you. I cannot watch you become a great person and never have you. I cannot watch you fall in love with him."

"I really am sorry, Hal. "

"Enjoy the life of chasing a man who will never love you."

Sera had been in the training arena for what seemed like hours, kicking, and punching. The sweat and exhaustion were prevalent in her face but she continued to go, feeling such anger. She could not choose who she loved, why was she being punished? She wanted to want Hal, he was a secured option. He would love her no matter what and take care of her- but she couldn't. Her heart just did not want him, neither did her mind. She could not spend hours thinking of him. She could not even wish herself to. "If you keep this up, you will be better than Lady Sif herself. " She heard Magni's voice call. She tried to ignore him, but he walked closer and persisted in a conversation. "You should give yourself a break, a warrior is not made in a day."

"I have feelings to burn." She spoke, shooting him a look. He took in her bloodshot eyes and soured face.

"Is everything alright?" He questioned stopping her from hitting the punching bag. He hated seeing her so distraught, he did not know why. Magni wished he could bring himself to spend every day with her but she made him nervous. She made him almost weak. "Come sit with me." He called, sitting at the edge of the Arena, and she followed. Their feet dangling from the edge, if they were to fall they would surely get hurt if not die. Sera did not know why she listened so eagerly to him. She truly wished she pushed him away.

"Hal asked me to marry him." She announced, looking out into the sun. She was ignoring everything she wanted to do just to keep close with the heir to the throne. Magni couldn't help but feel jealous, almost angry hearing those words. "I refused his offer."

"Why did you refuse?" He asked, needing assurance she did not love that puny Asgardian. Even if Magni could never get the courage to tell her his feelings, he wouldn't want her with anyone else. It was possessive in a sense but no one would be good enough for her, not even himself as king.

"I am not in love with him. He told me we could no longer be friends and that is how we left it." She spoke sighing, "Is it selfish that I hate the idea of being alone more than the idea that I hurt him so?"

"No." He answered quickly, "but you are not alone. I am here, and my friends are here as well."

"I don't think I am meant to have friends."

"Nonsense." He spoke. They fell into a silence staring at the sky. Sera did not notice by every feel moments, Magni would steal a glance at her.

"Do you want to fight? " She asked desperately, hating the silence that was eating at her. "I just want to hit something."

"Yes but don't rip my head off." He playfully spoke reciting her old words to him when he was in his distraught state. Sera looked at him with a kind smile but deep down guilt was eating at her. Not because she rejected Hal but from the minute she saw Magni, any remorse towards Hal was gone. Oh, how stupid is a teenager in love.

Hey hey guys! Sorry for the slow drag of the story but you know when a story is in the character development stage but also like you want shit to go down? Like I don't want to keep having her go through shit and shit and shit so trying to give poor Sera a break because later she isn't gonna have one. Probably next chapter or two stuff will resume. How do you like the dramatic but ever so confusing love stuff going on? I had really big plans for Gus but i'm not too sure.

I also wanted to ask your guys opinion for my soon to be story. I decided to go with Sigyn but I want to give her a little something something power wise. I was going to incorporate the tesseract but I thought that was too much. Like her powers with the tesseract but its going to take place in 2012 Avengers (I will probably post the main story and then the second of it will be a prequel) so like you have the tesseract and then the scepter seems like a lot going on and honestly could get too confusing. I might just give her a different power. What do you guys think?

Thank you for reading! Love you! And appreciate yous !
