Chapter 1 New Allies
Pain and cold
That is all that Genin Naruto Uzumaki could feel as he floated down the river from the valley of the end. He and his friends had been on a mission to rescue Sasuke and bring him back to Konoha. After splitting up to fight the sound five Orochimaru's elite bodyguards he had finally cornered Sauske at the Valley of the end. The same spot where Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju had their last fight.
After a long and grueling fight Sauske and Naruto had ended the fight with Sauske's Chidori and Naruto's Rasengan. The two boys connected their attack which resulted in an explosion that sent Sasuke flying into the statue of his ancestor. But Naruto wasn't so lucky. He hit the statue of the First Hokage and fell 250 feet to the water below barely hanging on to life.
Now here he was just aimlessly floating down the river with two large holes in his chest. Unknown to him the river he was on led him to the sea but not just any area right into the shipping lanes for large ships once the young Uzumaki was sent out to sea hanging onto a broken old piece of wood from his fight he was on his last legs and was slowly drifting off to the world of unconsciousness
UWE Enterprise
20 knots steaming west
The Enterprise the crown jewel of the United Whirlpool Empire the most Advanced aircraft carrier in the Navy's fleet it is powered by a Nuclear reactor has over 45 aircraft in her cargo hold ranging from Fighter Aircraft to Recon Aircraft a true master of the sea under the command of Captain Orihime Kurosaki the first Female captain of the mighty warship. The ship was finishing up maneuvers in the eastern sea near the element nation's valley of the end. Her husband was in command of a Battleship on their starboard side the famous Maelstrom named after their great nation 12 main guns with over 20 secondary guns and anti aircraft batteries (Battleship Yamamoto)
With the two ships done with their exercises the two along with 3 destroyers 2 subs and 6 Cruisers was headed back to their home" Mame message from the Maelstrom" says a young communication officer she sees that the message reads

Commander 7th Fleet
It was not abnormal that bodies would end up in the sea after a bad fight near the Ocean. So they would pick up the body and heal the injuries if needed and leave them on shore or bury the body at sea if the ninja was deceased. With the third war whipping out most of the Uzumaki clan the UWE did not take any chances with ninja since the Uzumaki was once the ruling family of the UWE. " Have the men on deck keep an eye out for anyone in the water" the young captain says kindly as the young man leaves he smiles the captain was never one to yell she was always kind the only person that would yell was the Executive Officer or XO for short her name was Rukia Kuchki a short and fiery woman with a right hook to match while polar opposites the commander obeyed the Captain without order
On deck
A young corpsman was walking the deck of the ship, his short black hair blowing in the wind as the sea breeze was blowing off the ship's 500 foot deck. It was common practice to have at least 7 corpsmen and 7 rescue divers on the deck during search operations so they can get a person out of the water quickly. The deck crew is more than capable of pulling the two people out of the water. But this one seemed like another bust as he was about to head back to the sick bay when something shines in his eye. He looks to where the object is that caused the reflection and sees a small boy just hanging onto a broken log doing what he is trained to do he springs into action. "MAN OVERBOARD MAN OVERBOARD Starboard Side" the crew scramble as the rescue diver jumps off the ship catching sight of the body the head band acting like a beacon to lead his way
On the Bridge
Captain Kurosaki yells out" Cut the engines all stop" The crew repeat what she says and hope they can stop the engines in time to stop the props if they get half way down the ship and the props don't stop the two bodies in the water can be sucked under the ship and into one of the four 30 meter tall props effectively killing them
In the Water
Sado Yastorda was a mountain of a man but is known by his friends and peers as a gentle giant out of the corner of his eye he sees the ship coasting right past him hoping that the captain and his friend gave the order to shut down the engines as he gave a john smith dive off the boat he could also hear the overboard alarm and the yelling on the deck as he makes it to the body floating and sees a young boy on the log seeing that he is breathing he grabs the boy and sets him on his surfboard chest.
On the deck
The recovery team had grabbed the rope that kept their beloved chief and fellow seaman from being sucked into the props and started pulling knowing the person in the water had maybe minutes to live. 7 men started pulling since it took 4 to pull the mountain of muscle and an additional 3 for whoever was in the water up the 100 meters to the deck by now the quiet and dainty captain had joined them on deck to welcome the rescue or give burial honors" Come on lads Pull Pull put your backs into it" yelled the XO as she helped pull the two on board once the two was pulled on board the corp man went to work. Chad was given a towel as the boy was looked over "We need to get him to sick bay or he won't make it" a sailor brings in a stretcher with two guys putting him on the litter and carrying him with four sailors one on each hand hold
3 hours later
Outside Sickbay
The captain and her senior staff was standing outside the sickbay waiting on word but also their was Admiral Ichigo Kurosaki Commander of the 7th Fleet and Captain Renji Abari Commander of the Maelstrom after hours of waiting for the red light turned off and Commanders Retsu Unohana came into view her clothes covered in blood "how is he commander" asked the lone Admiral she just put her hand up holding his questions as the commander goes to a barrel of water and sticks her head in the bubbles that come up stun the three as the once calm doctor never used that barrel it was usually saved for when someone needed to scream or a quick dunk to calm their head but the current person using it never had a need because she was a poster child for professionalism
After a good few seconds in the dunk barrel she comes out her long hair completely soaked. A young silver haired nurse hands her a towel as she faces her friends and coworkers.
"Now what was your question Admiral" she asks going back to being professional "I was wonder about your patient Doctor Unohana" she makes a "ah" face and says "he is very lucky to be alive sir he has a list of injuries both present and past that need to be addressed"
Now full of curiosity the fleet commanders all look at her Orihime was curious now "What was his Injuries Doc" The once calm and docile doctor looks at the young Captain and says"what isn't broken or damaged is a shorter list" a young nurse comes out and hands her a bag with the boys things as she lists of his injuries "When he came in he had multiple broken bones and contusions his left lung was collapsed as well as two holes in his chest but we was able to reinflate it as well as close the two holes but we can't fix his chakra network it has been severely damaged"she opens the bag and finds his wallet as well as his ID badge"my god in heaven" she gasps and hands the ID Badge to Admiral Kurosaki who growls and says"Renji spin up Team 7 I have a mission for them and have the fleet hold position" The Captain of SpecOps leaves the room and relays the fleet commander's orders Ichigo hands the ID to Orihime and says"looks like we found the only member or the Royal Family alive" She takes the ID and reads it

And it had a goofy picture of Naruto in Kabuki makeup that made Orihime giggle" what will you do Ichigo" he just looks at his wife and says"i will go back to Konoha and leave with all of his stuff in the meantime send a message to the joint chiefs and tell them the whirlpool lives" he says kissing her lips and leaving as everyone leaves to do their tasks as a young Naruto sleeps in his hospital bed in the infirmary
Konoha 3 hours later
Sakura Haruno was standing in front of the Hokage she had been called with the girls of the Konoha 12 to talk with the Hokage about the mission"Tenten you Ino and Hinata will for a Temporary Team till your Teammates are 100 percent" she then looks at Sakura "you will be my apprentice and Sasuke will be put on Trial for the attempted murder of fellow ninja" This was kind of a shock to the three girls who knew Sauske but Tenten barely knew the boy. But there was something else on Sakura's mind. "Mame what about Naruto was he brought back with the others." Tsunade was dreading this and sets something down on the table the 4 young woman recognize it immediately it was a black head band covered in blood more importantly it was Naruto's headband "this was all that was found his body was nowhere in site so we are still searching for him" Sakura could barely hold herself up as she starts crying dropping to her knees and openly sobbing as the worst situation plays in her mind
Night time Konoha red light district
Sakura was wandering around the district looking for her friend and teammate's house she had spent the last few hours at home crying over her lost friend and thinking she had sent him to his death. Once she found the apartment he lived in, the young girl walked to his door and saw that it was open. She then goes inside slowly drawing a kunai, not seeing the trained soldier standing behind the door. Once the girl is past the door he points a strange device to her head and says"stay quite miss and come inside" Listening to the man she moves in not making any sudden moves she has her hands up and notices more than one of them their was 6 in this small apartment"have a seat miss" she wisely sits down as the others continue to ransack the building each one wearing a dark kind of camouflage uniform thick vests with helmets and gloves on with boots covering their feet then there was their weapons the obvious leader sits down in a chair in front of her "my name is Lieutenant Renji Abarai and you are" she just answers quitely"Sakura Haruno genin team 7" he takes off his helmet and smiles softly"don't worry we are friends of Naruto and know you are his teammate" this got the young girls attention and she perks up "where is he... is he ok…. tell that baka to come home"some of the men cringe at her words "I'm afraid Ms Haruno if we bring him home he will die in transit" this got her attention even more "why" she then see him press something on his vest and say something to someone on the walkie talkie she can't hear what they are saying but once the military man finishes he looks grim "Ms when your other friend came home was he in bad shape" she shakes her head "no he had a few bumps and bruises but that is it" Renji presses a button and sees a hospital bed with Naruto in it his body hooked up to many machines and bandages all over his body "Naruto is as you put it clinging to life he will be lucky to survive the night"
This made Sakura really upset gasping and covering his mouth "Our commander has sent Tsunade a message that he is alive once the council learned that he was alive and getting care they called for his death stating that he is a traitor and tried to kill your teammate when it was the other way around" she was stunned when the woman calling for his death was in fact her own mother from the holographic video feed so Sakura says one thing that makes everyone smile "take me to him i have some medical training and want to go with him" this stuns the young officer but he says "Naruto won't be coming back if he does it on his own choice" she just nods and stands up dropping her headband to the floor walking out the room with the team headed towards the Hokage mountain and board a helicopter that had its engines running by time they get there once she is in the war bird as they called it she is stunned by the large metal machine lifting off the ground and flying towards the sea not knowing when she would see the village again
UWE Maelstrom
Sickbay
Naruto was starting to wake up all he could feel was some pain in his arms and chest he starts to look around and sees a blonde haired girl checking his IV "Ugh miss where am I" he asks his voice sounding rough she puts her hand on his shoulder "your onboard the UWE Maelstrom we found you drifting in the sea" she says her voice soft as she smiles softly "Now just lay their I will get the doctor" she walks out as he takes in the sights getting ready to bail on her but feeling his chest giving out too much pain "You wouldn't be trying to escape now would you Naruto" he looks and sees a beautiful woman come in her long black hair in a braid in front of her chest. "I am Doctor Unohana but you can call me doctor or Retsu" she walks over and takes out a pen light and starts checking his eyes "where am I doc the girl said I'm on a ship" she nods her head "Yes this is the navy's flag ship the UWE Maelstrom" he cutely turns his head "UWE" she smiles and says "United Whirlpool Empire" he nods his head but she sits him up "your lucky to be alive Naruto" knowing that they more than likely looked at his shinobi license he let the name go and asked "how long til I go back to Konoha" the woman gets a upset look and is about to say something when she is interrupted "I wouldn't suggest that Naruto" he looks and sees a tall man wearing a uniform and spikey orange hair "Admiral what you doing here" he smiles at the doctor's question and says "Yuzu told me he was awake" she nods at his answer "what do you mean its a bad idea sir" naruto asks and sees him get upset "by order of the civilian council in Konoha you was supposed to be put to death for harming your teammate while he walked away with a slap on the wrist" the boy lowers his head in sadness as it sinks in not hearing the busty woman with him berate him for telling him that
"Is Sakura at least happy he is back" Naruto had no idea she was actually on her way to the ship as they spoke "she is actually on her way here as we speak Naruo" his mind automatically goes to the worst case scenario and cringes "You can ask her when she comes here to see you now I want you to rest young man" Unohana says as she gives him another pain killer to help him relax and gently lays him down
Ichigo looks at his wife and says "Once the Helicopter lands we will be leaving make sure the reactors are primed and ready to go
3 Days later 50 Miles from UWE Naval Port
For 3 days Naruto has been on some serious pain meds so his body can heal but they had to keep him bed ridden but now he was getting moved to the flight deck so he can get his first glimpse at his new home for three days Sakura had kept a vigal at his bed side so he did nothing stupid she even made her first friend on the ship a bubbly girl named Yuzu who turned out to be a sister of the Fleet Commander and ths sister in law to the ships captain the two talked while Naruto would rest and became fast friends she learned about the new Whirlpool Empire alongside Naruto but the two learned the biggest shock ever Naruto came from the original Royal Family and that the current ruler of the empire was just the regent not the actual ruler who will now wait til Naruto is of age to relinquish the thorne to the young man
Ichigo comes over to him and puts his hand on the young man's shoulder "We will be docking soon why don't you come to the bridge and see the view from there" he nods and slowly makes his way slowly to the bridge with Sakura helping him slowly make his way up the stairs Kyubii helped him as much as he could but Naruto still deals with the pain from his chest it had been a very insightful with Naruto finding out that Sakura left their home for him because of the injustice that Naruto would receive
OOOOMMMM
Sakura had to stop herself from giggling from her teammate and friend jumping from the fog horn of the giant ship but Sakura caught something just the other day while they walked on the flight deck. Yuzu had been blushing when she was near the young prince and smiled everytime he would not let himself get a big head and have the petite girl call him by his name but Sakura would tease him by calling him Naruto-sama.
Upon arrival to the bridge the two can see why they sounded the fog horn the edge of the front of the massive aircraft carrier was barely visible from the bridge then as if a blanket was lifted the fog was gone then a massive yet beautiful city was in its place when they dock the ship they could see men and woman hugging sailors as they welcome them home. But when Naruto walked down the ramp with no help he felt very self conscious due to the people looking at him and Sakura Yuzu being the ever bubbly girl she was went and grabbed his hand pulling the boy down the ramp to the royal limo waiting for him as well as lots of security once at the limo Naruto and Sakura enter the car as well as Yuzu since she was his personal nurse while the two of them look around the city the two see signs saying welcome home and some signs that said marry me which made Sakura glare at them but unseen to the two friends Yuzu was glaring at them too. She had found that Naruto was a very friendly and cute but she was curious as to how he would be when they settled in the castle
When they arrive at the castle they could tell it was old and very well built they drive towards the front and see a group of men and woman waiting for him the woman wearing what looked like maid outfits and the few men in a butler suit but the rest was in a kind of kimono and looked regal once the driver opened the door Sakura gives the nervous boy a shove out the door as he steps out he sees the oldest and seemingly wisest man come up to him "hello Naruto I am Emperor Regent Yamamoto we have trying to find you for sometime" he nods softly "why have you been looking for me" the man gives a soft chuckle and says "we have been searching for you since your mother had returned here and told us she was pregnant with you but when she died and the Kyubii was sealed away we knew you was still alive" Naruto asks "can you tell me who my mother was" he puts a big hand on the boy's shoulder "in due time son now i need you to rest and recover completely" he nods as Yuzu and Sakura lead him into the castle the nurse leading him to his room as the old man says "he will lead us to great times soon
