"Casey," Dennis' thick voice vibrated through the door as he leaned his head against the wood.

"Case, I know you're in there, open the door please."

He waited.

She raised her head to meet her reflection in the mirror.

"I can't." she told him, her voice almost too quiet to hear.

"Case," he tried again. "I know what's goin' on, just tell me it's not true."

Her head fell, hair covering her face.

"Tell me you're not actually..." he swallowed harshly, unable to finish his sentence.

"Tell me we're not gonna..." he ran a hand over his head, and exhaled deeply.

"Just...let me in...please..."

After a considerable amount of time, Casey unlocked the door with a small 'CLICK' and stepped aside, allowing him entry.

As Dennis walked in, she braced herself against the sink, staring down at the result of the last test stick in her hand.

Judging from her expression it wasn't good.

So Dennis prepared himself for the worst when he came up beside her and slipped the device out of her hand.

He looked down at it hopelessly, the tiny stick displaying a 'plus' sign, which could indicate only one thing.

He looked up at her in bewilderment.

This wasn't really happening to them, was it?

He swallowed.

"You're really...?"

No longer trusting her voice, Casey could only nod.

The device clattered to the tiled floor.
