Right, this is NOT an update! This is an announcement, totally different from an update.
I started this story back in May 2016. It has been almost 4 years since I started on this fanfiction. Actually, The Shadow is my first ever fanfiction (or online writing) of any kind and it means a lot to me. I started this because while I loved the manga and first found it when it only had 20 chapters, I really wanted to change some things in the manga especially Nagisa's personality and skill level. With that in mind, I decided to write The Shadow to fulfill my imagination and possibly others' as well. But like I mentioned before, it has been almost 4 years since I started this and well... things change. I got distracted by life, other mangas and their like, and just stuff in general.
I recently read through this story and realized that my writing style has changed too much and will be unable to continue writing this story. So, I will no longer be updating this fanfiction. Yes, I am abandoning The Shadow. Thank you to all those who have followed this story thus far. I will not be taking this fanfic down from FFN though. However, it will only be on FFN and not AO3 (I lost the original files of the story).
