Primarina watched as her trainer snapped her Pokeball in half. Her trainer was always so cruel to her. She always tried her best, but was never good enough.

"Get out of my sight!" Shouted her trainer. "I never want to see you again!"

This made Primarina cry. All she ever wanted was to make her trainer happy, but never could. She would endure constant beatings from her trainer, seeing as it seemed to calm him down. She didn't realize it, but she was just making excuses for him, as she did for everyone else who was unkind to her. She was always eager to please everyone, always putting everyone else before her. She got closer to give him one last hug, but he pushed her away and just started walking in the opposite direction.

Primarina turned to look and see where she had been abandoned. It was a snowy mountain. A place where she would die of the cold after only one night. She tried to hold back her tears as she began to trudge through the snow.

Hours passed as she kept trudging. She had given up on holding her tears back and was full on bawling, her bruised body was a quite slow. Nobody had ever shown her any kindness before. Well... except for a certain Litten.

A newborn Popplio, who was all alone, nobody to care for her, was crying as she trudged over the concrete of a sailors town. She tried to find a warm place but couldn't. She crawled under low hanging balcony, accepting the fact that she was going to freeze to death as she kept crying. She then felt something warm and soft against her. She looked to see what it was. It was a Litten. The baby fire type Pokemon was trying to keep her warm. But she didn't really know why. But at the moment, it didn't matter. She was going to survive. The baby Litten licked her nose, so she smiled and did the same. The baby Litten smiled at her.

Primarina was so cold. Nothing like that kind Litten was likely to come around again. So she just stopped as she continued to bawl, accepting her fate. But as she did, she saw what looked like an Incineroar approaching. She was scared that her death might be more painful. But at least she would provide food to the Incineroar.

Once he was really close to her, she felt him pick her up. She was confused as to why he didn't just tear into her. He was warm. Very warm. The tired and bruised Primarina fell asleep in the Incineroar's arms.

When she awoke hours later, she noticed that she was in a cave. But she felt as if she was alone. There was a large fire in the cave, keeping her warm and alive. She felt like she was on something soft. it felt like wool. She then heard what sounded like chomping and slurping She was scared. She looked to see what it was. The Incineroar who saved her was chewing on a boan. She looked the other way out of sheer terror, and saw the skeleton of a Dubwool. She screamed out in terror.

The Incineroar stopped what he was doing, and looked at her. The sheer terror she felt was unlike anything she'd felt before. The Incineroar stood up and began to walk towards her. In her mind, there were only two options, both involving her dying. Stay and be eaten, or leave and freeze to death. She shed a tear, realizing that being eaten was a better option. It would be a lot quicker. She began to cry as he approached. But again, he did not tear into her. He laid beside her and held her close. She was again confused, but she stopped crying. He was so soft aft warm. She had no idea why he was helping her, but she was grateful.

"Thank you for saving me." Primarina said to the Incineroar. "I owe you my life."

"That's twice now." The Incineroar replied.

Primarina didn't reply. She just gave a confused look at her rescuer.

"You don't remember me?" Asked the Incineroar.

"No, I don't." Replied Primarina.

"I was the Litten who saved you all those years ago." The Incineroar replied.

This put a shocked expression on Primarina's face. She had no idea what to say or even think. She just wrapped her fins around him.

"I can't thank you enough!" Primarina exclaimed. "Is there anything I can do to show my appreciation?"

Incineroar went still and quiet. For around thirty seconds, all they could hear was the crackling of the fire.

"Yes." Incineroar finally piped up. "you see, it gets really lonely up here in the mountains. And there's nobody out here whom I can really consider a mate. If you are willing to be, you must stay with me. If you are not, then I will take you to a warm place. You'll never have to see me again."

Primarina got up and held out her flipper. She had a rather happy, yet serious look on her face. Incineroar seemed overjoyed at this. Finally, he'll have someone to share the rest of his life with. He'll have someone who will love him, and he'll love back. He reached out and held her flipper.

"I, Incineroar, solemnly swear, that I will be bound to you for all of time. Should I betray you or break that binding by anything other than my own death, may Arceus curse me for the rest of my natural life." Swore Incineroar.

"I, Primarina, solemnly swear, that I will be binded to you for all of time. Should I betray you or break that binding by anything other than my own death, may Arceus curse me for the rest of my natural life." Swore Primarina.

A binding light surrounded them as Arceus spoke to them.

"So it has been said" Arceus Spoke. "So it shall be."

The light disappeared and the two embraced each other.

"May I sing to you?" Primarina asked.

"You need not ask me." Incineroar replied. "Sing until you wish to stop."

Primarina broke the hug, and went over to the other side of the cave. She then started singing a beautiful song called Lilium. She had no idea what the lyrics translated to. All she knew is that it had a beautiful sadness to it. She sung the song for hours upon hours before getting tired. She didn't notice until she was tired that Incineroar had fallen asleep. She stopped singing, and went to lay down beside him. Feeling the warmth of his body, as she was put to sleep by his softness.

Three months later, Incineroar left the cave holding Primarina in his arms. It was a lot warmer than it was when she first arrived on the mountain, and she was finally able to go outside without being too uncomfortable. ... As long as she has Incineroar by her. But Incineroar still had to keep himself heated up. He remembered using a lot of energy the first time he did this for her. He had almost passed out. But that wasn't going to happen this time.

There was a Shiny baby Litten resting in Primarina's flippers. This baby Litten was their Child. He was almost always resting. Made sense since he was a baby. The memories of her abusive trainer had almost left her. The joy of having a family with only one who had ever shown kindness to her was all she ever though of now. The baby Litten woke up and began to meow. Primarina knew what different meows of their child meant, and he was meowing for a song. She began to sing Lilium for her child. He quickly stopped meowing. He nuzzled her as he purred. Litten wasn't the only one purring however. Incineroar began to purr, listening to the beautiful son his mate sang. She looked into his eyes as he looked into hers. The two shared their glance until the song was over and their child had fallen back asleep. The two brought their faces closer together and as their lips met, they shared a passionate kiss. They held this kiss for around thirty seconds. Once their lips separated, all Primarina could think of war the warmth she was feeling. She fell asleep, her child clutched safely in her flippers. Incineroar decided to sit down near an optimal rock formation that allowed him to cradle his mate, as he just smiled and stared at her beautiful face. His love for her was very strong, as was her love for him. The two were inseparable. Primarina's tears would never be that of sadness or anguish ever again.
