Link looked up at the ceiling as he lay across the bed. He hadn't said anything to Navi who was sitting on the pillow watching him. Link closed his eyes. "What do you think, Navi?" He spoke quietly as everything ran through his mind. He wanted to help his friends, but was he willing to risk Hyrule?
Navi looked at him as she answered. "This is up to you Link; I go where you go. I'm ok with either." She didn't want him to be pressured with how she felt besides she wasn't sure what she really wanted either. She then added "But Autum's right; you don't' want to regret the choice you make. You need to pick the one that you can live with."
Link closed his eyes. "Do you believe it was fate that you and I met and that we're able to teleport to other dimensions? Is it just coincidence that we came here where we are needed; where we have met such odd and yet intriguing friends? Maybe this time around I'm not meant to be the hero of Hyrule… Maybe I'm just not set to be a hero, maybe I'm just supposed to live out a life; come what may, something different from all of my other past lives." He suggested as he moved his hand through his bangs. "I don't know what to do Navi. I want to help Brat and Celtic, but if I do, what will happen to Hyrule?"
Navi looked away from him. "If you didn't have to worry about what would happen to Brat and Celtic or Hyrule… what would you choose? Would you want to stay in Hyrule; traveling, doing what we used to do or would you want to stay here with Eznik and the rest of them?"
Link stared at the ceiling. He moved his arm over his eyes; this by far was one of the hardest discussions he ever had to make. And he didn't have Navi's opinion to help him decide, he was left with how he felt about it. "I want something more than Hyrule. I know the place, yet I haven't been through it all… at least not in this life. But I so want to help Brat and Celtic. And Autum and Eznik mean a lot to me." He sat up looking at Navi. "Is it wrong that I'm going to be abandoning Hyrule for my own feelings? What if I am supposed to be the Hero and I end up letting everyone down by not being there? But what if I could of been help here but chose to leave?"
Navi watched him; she had never seen him this way. He was confused by his own emotions; perplexing over the yet to be seen consequences of his decision. He had never chosen what he wanted; ever. He was just put in a situation then left to figure out how he could help in the situation he was put in. He wanted to be there for Hyrule but his heart searched for adventure and friends and this was the place for it. "Do what your heart wants for once, Link. You even go out of your way for me when you don't have to. Live to what you want; own your life, make it your own. If you don't want to be there for Hyrule then don't. Who is to say you have to? Stay here and help them if you is to say you're not supposed to? All that really matters is that you follow your heart. I believe that your heart knows the truth as to where you really are supposed to be."
Link covered his face with his hands. How could this be so hard? This was his choice, and one that could risk a whole planet versus two of his friends. What a lopsided decision which seemed to make the decision quite obvious and yet in his heart it was not. He finally spoke up as he looked to Navi. "I'm staying. I'm going to help them; I want to know how this place is. I want to understand it and explore it even if in the end I get myself killed. At least I did something different; something truly challenging to the Hero in my heart." He smiled at her relieved that he had finally made a decision. He felt good choosing something for himself. Though in the back of his mind he was still haunted with what could happen to Hyrule without him.
Navi smiled at Link; she was proud of him knowing how hard this decision was for him. Her attention then went to the door as it opened. There came a rapping on the door after it was opened. Navi saw that it was Eznik who then closed the door behind him with his free hand as he walked in. In his other hand were Link's garments. "I hope I'm not interrupting you two." He said as he walked up and sat in a chair across from the bed. "Don't mean to rush you but did you two decide what you're going to do? Time is still not on our side."
Link looked the doctor over. He could tell all of this was affecting Eznik. It looked like he hadn't gotten any rest. And though he held his cheery disposition he could see the weight on Eznik's shoulders. It really emphasized just how serious this really was, but that wasn't going to change his mind. As a matter of fact it only made him more determined to stick to his decision. "We are staying to help. After that, if it comes down that we can't return home, we'd much appreciate it if we could stay with you. That is, if it's not too much to ask." He conveyed as he looked Eznik in the eyes.
Eznik took off his glasses and began cleaning them; somewhat surprised by their selfless choice. "Of course…that's without saying but is this really your choice? Are you sure you thought this through; leaving everything you know behind, friends, family… everything." Eznik questioned as he looked at the teen. He really didn't want to see Link and Navi risking so much to help his Daughter and Brother-in-law especially with it being such a dangerous mission.
Link nodded. "We don't have a lot of friends and as for family we really only have each other. And all we ever owned fits into a bag." He said as he glanced at Navi. "We moved around a lot for neither of us have family so we have no place we truly call home. So yah… this is our decision, to help fight, to commit to this rescue. They are our friends as well. And that means a lot to us."
Eznik happily chuckled. "I believe you both are going to need some training." He sighed as he smiled at them. "Do you think you can stand Brat's crew long enough?" He got up to his feet. He knew that Atia and maybe even Autum would not approve but the rest of the crew would be grateful for their help, he knew that he was.
Link winced as Eznik tossed him his clothes; catching him off guard. "I believe you want something appropriate to train in." Eznik said to him as he stretched. "There's a blue bottle in that bathroom you can use to get those markings off of your face." He watched Link nod and head out of the room. Eznik then walked up and plopped down next to Navi on the bed. He studied her expression. He could tell by her demeanor something was bothering her. "Are you really happy with this choice? It looks like maybe you let him choose without considering truly how it would affect you."
Navi looked at the bed. "It's not that. It's that… I'm useless." She closed her eyes as she sighed. "How is it that am I supposed to be of any help!? I can't even fly let alone teleport!" She looked up at him in her misery. "I want to be able to help when it's needed most, but I can't even help myself. I'm just going to be a dead weight… Back in Hyrule there wasn't any of this teleporting stuff at the last minute. I knew what to do there; what was expected of me. But here it's different and then on top of that I can barely fly now. I'm afraid I will let everyone down and I couldn't live with that."
Eznik smiled at her. "Navi… You put too much on your shoulders. We'll figure out what's wrong. I'm sure my friend Gajra can help you. You just need to believe in hope." He told her as he patted her on the head. "So cheer up… we'll all get through this just fine." Eznik declared while inside he wondered if he himself was being too optimistic. His attention then went to Link as he walked back into the room. He chortled as he studied Link's attire for it was so different than the way they dressed in his dimension. He knew that Deka and Zigor were going to tease the poor boy dearly for wearing a tunic. No doubt he was going to be known as the 'boy in the dress' by them.
Link watched Eznik laugh to himself. He decided he didn't want to know what he was laughing about, though he was sure he would find out sooner or later whether he wanted to or not. He glanced at Navi who seemed a bit down. "What now?" Link asked as he looked to Eznik.
Navi, smiling some, looked Link over as Eznik and he conversed. She liked how Link looked in his own clothes, though she did have to admit it was nice to have seen him in something different. She glanced down at the dress she still was wearing, she pondered if Link liked her in it or not. He never really said anything to her, not one way or the other..
Eznik picked up Navi, setting her up on top of his head. He smiled at Link. "We are going to talk to Gajra, to see what we can do about Navi's problem." He headed to the door glancing back at the teen as he followed. He chuckled a bit to himself thinking once again of what Deka and Zigor would say to him about how he dressed.
Eznik trotted down the hall; walking up to a door. He opened the door while knocking on it. "Gajra… I would like to speak with you." he depicted as he walked into the room looking at Gajra as he got to his feet.
Link and Navi looked around the room in awe; it was covered in flowers and filled with other types of plants and trees they could never have imagined. It didn't seem like they were even in the cold metal walls of a ship any longer. The room seemed it had a life of its own as even the plants seemed to move on their own as if they could do what they wanted. It was awesome!
Gajra looked at the two non-mergers who seemed to be admiring the beauty of the room. He assumed Eznik had brought them there because they must need something from him. He studied Navi, something about her seemed familiar. He looked over at Eznik wondering what they had in mind.
"Navi would like to talk to you. She has some questions and since you know much more about mythical creatures, such as Dimensional Faeries I believe you can give her the answers that she needs as well as help her with a couple problems she's having." Eznik clarified as he took Navi off of his head, setting her down gently on a large leaf of the plant he was standing next to. "Her friend here, Link will be in the training hall. If you would show her where that is when you're done here it will be much appreciated." He looked at Link nodding to the door.
Navi watched the two head to the door. She thought 'they' were going to talk to him, not her alone! She glanced at Gajra and then to Link. She was quite distressed. She wanted Link to stay with her, but it seemed Eznik already made plans for her friend.
Link looked back at her; not sure as to what to say. He glanced at Gajra. "Good luck. See you in a bit." He spoke softly smiling back at his little friend. He looked back at Eznik who was just then walking out of the room. Link followed. He looked at Eznik as he closed the door.
Eznik smiled at Link. "Don't worry… she'll be fine. She will probably be able to get Gajra to speak more than the rest of us can. So, let's get you to the training room." he said as he headed down the hall.
Navi let out a frustrated sigh as she looked at Gajra who was petting one of his plants. He glanced over at her. "You can't fly, can you? Is that why you've come here?" He recognized the problem, along with the reasoning behind why she couldn't. He wanted to ask her a question about why she looked familiar, but decided he should get down to business first.
"What?! H-how did you know?" Navi asked him, though it was very obvious. She watched him as he walked over to a patch of grass, bending down. He held out his hand and a small bud rose out of the ground blooming into a beautiful flower. It was white; covered with blue markings. It was glowing. The flower looked familiar to her, though she knew that she had never seen it in Hyrule before.
"The condition you have it called, Induruois, meaning the coming into power. Dimensional faeries go into a hibernation to get through this. Every 10 years they go into this hibernation so their powers may restore. That's why you can't fly much after you teleport. This flower is an Indurs, the flower that you would hibernate in." Gajra spoke as he then mumbled something under his breath as he picked the flower.
Navi was surprised to hear such. "So how long is this hibernation?" She quizzed as she watched him pick the flower. It didn't sound like something she really wanted to do, but if it would give her powers back then she was all for it. She watched him as he set the flower on the table in the room.
"Two years… time which we don't have." Gajra spoke up, even though he was a bit more comfortable with her, he still wasn't one to make conversation. He grabbed a mortar setting the flower into it. He started to crush up the flower with a pestle.
"Then what are we supposed to do then!?" Navi cried out in panic. A two year hibernation! Navi held her head. No, indeed she did not have time for this. She looked at him desperate for an answer. "Is there anything we can do?" She stood waiting for a reply but there was only silence. "Are you even listening to me!?" she screamed at him. She hated being ignored, especially with something as important as this!
Gajra pulled off a couple of leaves from a small plant next to the table adding it into the mortar. He then held out his hand as a vine moved up to him holding a vial. He took the vial pouring its liquid into the bowl. He started to mix it all together. His mind on what he was doing; ignoring Navi.
Navi let out a growl. She wished she could fly up in his face and yell at him, maybe he would listen then. She flapped her wings some, but she could tell she still couldn't' fly. She glanced at the stem of the leaf. She smirked as she started to climb down it. She let out a small cry as a thorn on the plant pricked her. She looked at the thorn and then looked down as thorns started to emerge out of the stem everywhere. Navi looked up as Gajra walked up to her.
Gajra held out his hands to her. "You should learn patience…" Navi hopped off of the plant onto his hand. She crossed her arms giving him a dirty look. "It's not hard for you to reply! It's rude not to! Instead you ignored me. So how was I supposed to know you weren't just screwing around, messing with me. It seems to be the way people are around here. " Navi looked away from him; frustrated.
Gajra walked over setting her on the table. He then started to mess with his mixture again. Navi looked at the table that was overgrown with plant life. She let out a small sigh; it seemed he was going to ignore her some more. It was against her nature not to talk but he didn't seem to even want to talk!
A couple of vines started to move towards Gajra. They joined together and formed into a small bowl on the table. Gajra poured the mixture into it. He grabbed a hard fruit hanging on a nearby tree; cracking it open. He poured the juice into the bowl as well. He looked at Navi not sure that this would even work.
"You're going to have to bathe in this. I don't know for how long or actually if it will even work. We can only hope." Gajra spoke up. "I can promise you this though…it's your only chance. It is the best I can do for you." He couldn't think of anything else to say to her. He walked away and sat on a stump next to the wall. He leaned back; resting.
Navi watched him as he did so. She then walked hesitantly up to the bowl made of plants. She looked in it as she began timidly to take her dress off. She looked over at Gajra to see he had closed his eyes. "Why don't you talk a lot?" she asked him as she climbed into the small bowl.
Gajra brushed his bangs from his face. "No point in talking when you don't have to. Your body language can say just as much… though… there is a question I've been wanting to ask you. May I?" he glanced at her as she settled into the bowl.
A rush of calming energy ran through her. She closed her eyes as the feeling overcame her. The energies seemed to engulf her. She slipped into a peaceful sleep before she could even answer him.
Gajra heard her silence; he took it as a good sign as he felt the energies around the fairy change. His guess was that it was working; he just prayed he cut the time for it down enough.
Eznik stopped in front of the door looking back at Link. He smiled at him. "I'm going to be leaving you here to train with Deka. I have other things that I need to tend to." He informed Link as he walked into the room.
It was a large open room with large windows that space could be seen from it. Deka was sitting on a chair watching Sakki and Gotenoo go at it. She looked over at the two as they walked in. She grinned happily waving them over to her.
Link looked around the room; he wondered why Eznik didn't have him and Autum fight here instead of the other room. This room was definitely more fitting for fighting. He looked at Deka who was grinning at him.
The two made their way to Deka. She smirked as she studied Link's apparel, her guess these were his true clothes. "What's with the man dress, honey?" she asked him chuckling some. Oh the jokes she could make about his outfit. She was dying laughing inside.
Link stared at her in a state of shock. A man dress?! How could she even make that assumption? He looked at her as his ears drooped, had she never heard of a tunic before? "It's a tunic, Deka. It's what we wear where I come from."
Eznik held back his laugh as he looked to Deka. "I need you to teach Link about the basics and hopefully catch him up to speed on fighting techniques that will keep him from getting killed."
Deka glanced at him and then her eyes slid quickly back to Link's man dress. "Really? I thought yah would enjoy training him yourself, Eznik." Eznik chuckled and shook his head as he looked over at Gotenoo and Sakki. "I believe I had enough after training Brat and Gotenoo the basics, besides I'm getting too old for all of this. Plus, I'm sure you will have much more fun training him." he said as he glanced at Deka whose attention was still on Link's apparel.
Deka nodded as she leaned back in the chair. She studied the doctor. "Get some rest Eznik. We need yah tip top when it comes down to it in the end. I'm pretty sure yah'll going to be coming with us, since yah know more about Brat's transformation then the rest of us. They might try to use her transformation against us…" she said in all seriousness.
Eznik nodded as he glanced over at Link who was watching Sakki and Gotenoo practicing. Gotenoo darted at Sakki at full speed, so fast she seemed to vanish but Sakki kicked her in the gut despite. Gotenoo bent over as she backed up holding her stomach. "Too predictable!" Sakki laughed as he watched her get back into a fighter's stance.
Link stared in amazement. He couldn't even see where she was yet Sakki stopped her. He looked back at Eznik and Deka. "Don't worry Honey, when "I'm done with you, you'll be able to see those two goobers when they move that fast." Deka stated as she gave a reassuring smile. She didn't want him to think that he was outclassed here and feel useless.
Eznik looked at Link putting his hand on the teen's shoulder. "You train hard. Don't worry about Navi, she's in good hands. And when Deka and Zigor start teasing you; which they most assuredly will; understand… it's just who they are. You ignore them for when you react… that's just giving them more fuel for the fire. And that's a fire you don't want to feed." he advised as he walked towards the door. He stopped looking back at the two.
Eznik smiled and then headed out of the room. He needed to get some rest. His mind was full of worry for his daughters. He also was quite nervous about everyone going on this mission. Just one thing going wrong could lead to someone getting killed or worse; especially with there being so many volatile scenarios. He believed that they could pull off this impossible mission but underneath it all he wondered if he was being realistic. Was he just being hopeful not seeing the real truth of all of this because he couldn't bare it being true? Was he allowing everyone to risk their lives for his sake; some unrealistic goal?
Deka hopped off of her chair stretching. "Alrighty honey, what do you normally fight with? Weapon, fist, or energy? She questioned him as she needed to figure out where to start. She studied his muscle tone; her guess was that he used a one-handed weapon.
"A sword and shield." he replied as his attention went back to the two practicing. He'd rather have Autum train him with his weapons; she seemed to be a more skilled fighter to him.
Deka nodded, "So the bare butt basics are where we get to start. Get into a stance and throw out a punch. I need to see how you do in hand to hand combat." Deka said as she walked up in front of him.
Link looked at her; he wasn't really expecting to do anything without his sword, though it did make sense, it would keep him safe if he was somehow disarmed. He got into a stance and he tossed out a simple punch. He looked at her, she didn't look too impressed.
Deka walked up to him. "Oh, my my. Yah need to get into a better stance than that." she softly squeaked as her tail wrapped around his right leg pulling it back while she grabbed his hands moving them into position. Deka saw that he was blushing.
Link stared at her a little apprehensive. She didn't seem to know what personal space was, especially with that tail of hers. He glanced down at her tail and he moved his legs a bit. He looked back at her as his ears drooped; this was getting a bit uncomfortable for him.
"Awe honey, I'm ain't trying to flirt with you. I know you're already taken. It's just the way I am, sweetie.I'm up close and personal." Deka laughed as she backed up from him. Her tail waved at him from behind her. "Alright get your composure and toss another punch."
Link taking a deep breath tried to calm his mind. He threw another punch. "Stop!" Deka spoke up. He looked at her. His arm was fully stretched out. He watched her walk up and grab his fist moving it a bit. "You want to be throwing your punches here. That will be the most effective." Deka directed as she moved his hand upward. "This will be a high punch." She then moved his hand downward. "And this is a low punch." She then let go of his hand.
Link nodded a little watching her back up. She got into a stance; throwing some fast punches to show the different styles. Deka glanced at him as she dropped her stance. "Simple?" she questioned him smiling.
Link nodded as he got into the stance and tossed them. He looked at her as she nodded to him. "Yah, a fast learner sweetie. That's good! I think yah are going to have a chance against the DP after all. I was a little nervous at first." Deka professed as she smiled at him. Her ears twitched and she looked over at the door as it opened. "Awe! Looky there! Someone got some father daughter bonding time! How sweet!"
Zigor walked begrudgingly into the room, he didn't seem too happy. He glanced at the two. His long bangs were braided. He had blush on his cheeks and a couple of markings on his face; eyeshadow and lipstick. He had a large pink bow that held his hair in a low ponytail. He was a sight. "Clam up…" He spoke before Deka could say anything else.
He walked up sitting down in the chair and started to rub his cheeks with his arm trying to get off the makeup. His gold eyes looked Link over. "You let Deka get you in a dress?" Zigor questioned him stunned by such.
Link let out a sigh trying to gather up his courage. "What about you and that make up?" he bravely defended as he looked at Zigor. He wasn't going to be the butt end of the jokes this time. He was hoping Deka might help him out a little.
Deka walked up and put her hand on Link's shoulder. "It's a Man-dress; he's just getting in touch with his feminine side… apparently.. like you. He says he always wears one... " Deka joked as she looked at Zigor. "Maybe if you're lucky Link has an extra one yah can borrow; that would just finish your look. But if I do say so myself; yah look absolutely adorable, never seen yah look prettier. And yah hair! Yah must tell me who yah hairstylist is." She laughed at the two.
Zigor glared as he snapped at her in another language. He then started recklessly trying to unbraid his hair. Deka chuckled as she walked up behind him taking the bow out of his hair. She looked at Link winking at him. She wrapped the ribbon around her wrist as she walked in front of Zigor who was desperately trying to get his hair back to normal.
"Why don't yah spar with Link here? I think he'll learn better by fightin." Deka asked Zigor. "Why don't you do it or get one of the pipsqueaks to?" he spat, nodding over to Sakki and Gotenoo who were watching the group.
"I know yah don't want to get your new looks all messed up but let's just face the facts; out of all of us, yah'r is the shittiest fighter and Link's just learning. So honey you're it. Get up off yah' ass… No kicking or teleporting. Play fair." Deka rapped as she grabbed his arm pulling him to his feet. She slapped him on his ass. "Get yah ass moving. I'm not asking."
Zigor glared at her. "You touch my ass again I promise you will be missing that tail tomorrow!" he shouted at her as he walked to the middle of the room grumbling to himself. "Oh promises, promises all I've ever get from yah Zigor.. is promises." shot back Deka. Zigor huffed as he turned away. He continued to mess with his hair trying to get it unbraided.
Link watched Zigor and then looked at Deka. He winced as she walked up to him moving next to his ear. "Watch for his punches, he has a delay. Don't hold back either; gots it? We got the best doctor here along with Gajra's healing herbs. So go get him." urged Deka as her tail snapped him on the ass. Deka chuckled watching him scramble away from her towards Zigor.
"That woman is whoshan's hand…I swear…" spit out Zigor as Link took position in front of him. He used his fingers to brush out his bangs some. The makeup on his face was smeared but most of it was gone. Zigor let out a sigh as he got into a fighter's stance.
Link got into the stance that Deka showed him, though he knew that he would have to adapt it for moving. He studied Zigor's stance wondering how he was going to fight. He glanced over at Sakki who walked past the two.
Sakki glanced at the two smirking. He mouthed something to Zigor who looked away; ignoring him. Sakki glanced at Link and then headed out of the room. He would rather not have his training interrupted by these two's trivial fight.
Gotenoo ran up closer and sat on the ground to watch. "You can do it Zigor! Go Link!" She cheered for the two. She scratched her head some as she looked up at Deka who smiled down at her. Gotenoo gave out a small yawn rubbing her eyes. "Can I fight the winner?" Deka chuckled. "You will get to fight later; I'll need your help later training Link, pumpkin."
Deka walked up to the two. "Alrighty ladies! Fight!" she commanded as she stepped back. She had her bets on the blonde. He seemed to be a natural; the way he watched things; he was always studying, figuring out strategy and how things connect. And he was able to follow directions easily.
Link darted at Zigor, he wasn't taught to block, so he was going to see how Zigor did it. From there he hopefully would be able to apply the technique. He swung his fist at Zigor who used his forearm to swat it to the side. Zigor smirked as he swung his fist back at Link.
Link winced as he got hit in the chest, but returned the favor with a punch to Zigor's face. Zigor stumbled back holding his cheek. It seemed he underestimated the teen. He smirked and darted past Link and elbowed him in the back.
Link let out a small cry as he wobbled from the attack. Link looked back at Zigor who threw another punch. Link's instinct kicked in when he saw the punch coming. Ducking low, he punched up at Zigor's gut. When Zigor slumped over from the punch Link moved his hands together and slammed down on Zigor's back.
Zigor let out a cry vanishing before he hit the ground. He appeared next to Link catching him completely off guard. Link looked over at him shocked; Zigor did a high kick to Link's face knocking him off of his feet.
"Woah, woah ladies! We are done." Deka spoke up as she jogged up between the two. She looked at Zigor who was purposely looking away knowing he had broken the rules. She glanced at Link who was rubbing his face. "Great job Link! It seems yah won Honey." she announced with a smile. She grabbed his hand moving it away from his face. "Oh you're going to have a nice shiner there." She smirked as she looked over at Zigor. "It seems yah just got owned, by Linky here. Maybe yah should get a man dress… maybe it might help your fighting."
Zigor glared at her. "You put restrictions on me..." He mumbled as he sat down next to Link. "So what's up with the dress anyway?" he asked Link, changing the topic. He glanced over at Deka who was stretching.
Deka smiled. "It's a tunic… something from where he's from. Though…" Deka pulled off his hat looking down at him. "I think he looks a lot sexier without the hat." She grinned as she rubbed Link's head messing up his locks. "Yah should show off yah know yah beautiful blonde hair honey." Deka tossed the hat to Zigor who caught it.
Zigor looked at it and then glanced at Link who was blushing. Zigor chuckled as he put the hat on. "This reminds me of Urnhta headgear." Zigor remarked as he watched Deka plop down next to Link. "So is this 'tunic' 'man dress' of yours comfortable?" Zigor smirked.
Link's blue eyes looked Zigor over, studying him; not wanting to answer his question. He nodded a little bit, not sure he should be admitting such. Link then reached up trying to swat Deka away the way one would shoo a fly as she was messing with his earring. "See, I told yah Zigor earrings make the girls like yah much more. See Linky here… even has Autum under his thumb. Can yah believe that? Yah know what a bitch she is but I swear she was like a soft purring kitten around Linky."
Zigor's ears twitched. "So he's Autum's peach, huh? I feel for him. And for your information Deka I don't want my ears pierced. My ears are much more sensitive to that, just thinking about it makes me cringe…oo-o." He shook at the thought as he answered. He looked at Link who was bright red staring at the ground. Zigor chuckled. "What's wrong Link? Don't you like Autum and all the other women at your feet? I'm sure Deka will show you the ropes; the ins and outs… if you know what I mean...heh…heh."
Link's ears drooped as he looked at Zigor. "I don't like Autum that way… I don't need to be shown the ropes either." He spoke up trying to defend himself against their taunting. He winced as he felt the back of his tunic get lifted.
"Honey, if yah didn't have tights on that would be some easy access. I'm sure that's the allure of this man dress. That's why yah wear it, isn't it?" Deka grinned at him. Link pushed down his tunic out of her hand. He was blushing and his ears were low. "Awe honey, yah look so cute and innocent when you're blushing. Do you realize what a gift that is? Do you know how truly rare that is? People just don't blush anymore."
"Oh, come on now Deka. I see what you're doing you she-devil, you. I thought you said he was Autum's." teased Zigor. "Get your hands off or I'm telling on you. You know she's just waiting for an excuse to tear into you."
"I'll just tell her I couldn't resist his man dress and that blushing of his. She being of the feminine persuasion will surely understand." laughed Deka.
Link looked away; his face in his hands. He couldn't believe these two! Were they going to push him completely out of his comfort zone?
"Come on you two…" Gotenoo spoke up as she walked up to them. She rested her hands on Deka's head. "I think you made him embarrassed enough…" Gotenoo looked at Zigor. "You're just mad because he beat you." She stuck out her tongue at him.
Deka chuckled. "Awe, you're ruining our fun, pumkin." Deka looked at Link who moved his hands off of his face, though his face was still red. "Look at him Gotenoo. You know that is so cute him blushing."
Gotenoo looked at him shaking her head. "I don't see it… So leave him alone you two meanies…" She squeezed in between Deka and Link. "No more making fun of Link starting now…." Gotenoo crossed her arms eyeing Deka.
Deka chuckled. "Don't worry pumpkin we're done making fun of Linky. It was all just in fun, to lighten the mood" She smiled at Link who was staring at the ground. Deka got up to her feet walking in front of Link. She held out her hand to him. "Come on I think you had enough rest. We need to get back to training."
Link looked at her hand. He sighed and took it; though he really wouldn't call this rest. It was more like punishment that those two put him through. He rubbed his cheek once he was pulled to his feet. He glanced at Zigor who was just getting up.
"Time for you two to learn throwing." Deka spoke looking at Zigor. "Zigor, you get to be the dummy since you're so good at it." She smirked at him. She walked up to Gotenoo and pulled her to her feet. "Come on let's get out the mat so he won't get hurt."
Zigor let out a sigh and looked at Link. "Your face ok?" he asked the teen. Link nodded a little looking over at Deka and Gotenoo who walked up to a wall. The wall opened and they pulled out a large rolled up mat. They dropped it onto the ground and Gotenoo laughed as she started to unroll the large mat onto the ground.
Once the mat was laid out Gotenoo ran up and jumped on it hitting the ground. Deka walked onto the mat and looked at the two. "Come on boys!" She waved them over. "Time to get back to work!"
Eznik walked into his room. He tossed his tattered coat onto a chair. He glanced at Autum who was curled up on his bed. He smiled pleasantly looking at her. He walked to his closet opening it. It was a small walk-in closet. He walked up to a small dresser. He ran his hand down the drawers and stopped at one. He grabbed out a set of clothes and mechanical fingers for Autum. He walked out of the closet and dropped it onto a chair next to Autum. She always had him keep some of her things here in case the worse would happen. He grabbed the blanket; covering her up.
Eznik walked back into his closet grabbing himself a set of clothes. He headed to the door, he rather not wake her. He knew how little she slept most of the time, so she would need all the rest she was giving herself.
Eznik headed down the hall to where Link and Navi had a room. He knew the two wouldn't be back for a while. He headed into the bathroom to take shower to try to calm his nerves. From there he would try to get some well needed rest.
