A few months had gone by and Wesley was doing pretty good.
He would have more sleep, not cut himself so often and wasn't crying that often.
He would talk to Josh everyday and he would say the same thing, 'Look at other people, get over me and find someone new. I'll always love you and be with you.'
Picard would still look after him and have him on the bridge. He started to see he was doing better. He was happy about that and thought that if he had stayed on the Titan he would probably be a lot worse.
Beverly and Riker were happy he was doing good.
Wesley was done with the bridge for the day and in his quarters.
He was having a snack and thinking about what Josh had said multiple times.
"I still love him though. Nobody can take his place." he said.
It was his birthday today and they were going to have a party at seventeen hundred. It was sixteen hundred right now.
"I wish I could have you back. But I don't think I can."
An hour later he was at the Ten Forward.
"Happy birthday Wesley!" everyone said.
"Thanks." he said smiling a little.
Everyone but Beverly, Picard, Deanna and Riker doesn't knows what's wrong with him.
Beverly, Deanna and Riker had come for his birthday.
Deanna could feel depression but happiness in him. Depression because Josh isn't there but happiness because he's back on the Enterprise and his friends are there.
She was happy he was doing a little better.
Wesley was about to open a card when there was a flash of light. When it was done Wesley fell off his seat in shock. Then he got up everyone was confused.
"Who are you?" Worf asked.
"Josh Albert." Josh said.
"Josh?" Wesley said in a shaky voice.
Everyone looked at him in shock that his voice sounds like that. They had never heard of a Wesley like that.
"Wes?" he said.
Wesley was shaking a little and held onto the table to keep his balance.
Then Josh walked over to him and they looked at each other. Wesley's eyes were watering and fighting tears.
Josh opened his arms and Wesley held onto him fighting the tears as strong as he could.
"Father? What's going on?" Alexander asked.
"I don't know Alexander." Worf said.
When they let go of each other they looked at each other.
"I missed you so much." Wesley said. "Even though I'd talk to you everyday."
"I missed you to." Josh said then got closer to him.
"They don't know do they?" he whispered.
"Only mom, Captain Picard, Captain Riker and Councilor Troi."
"Well what do you say we show everyone how close we are?" he said smirking a little.
Wesley turned a little red but gave in and then kissed each other.
Everyone that didn't know looked at them in shock.
"What the hell?" someone said.
When they stopped they looked at each other smiling.
Then they looked at everyone with their hand on each other.
"You wonder why I would cry so much and such?" Wesley said and everyone nodded.
"We were a couple until it happened." Josh said rubbing Wesley's hand when he felt him go tight.
The adults that knew what happened nodded.
"How did you get here anyway?" Wesley asked then thought of something. "Traveller?"
Josh nodded.
"How did he know about this? I didn't tell him about our relationship."
"I know you didn't but I could tell you had something going on between you two." someone said.
"Traveller?" Wesley said confused.
"Hello Wesley."
"What did you do?"
"I brought him back as a birthday present. He will be here from now until next week. That way you can spend some time with him. Every birthday this will happen."
Wesley was shocked at what he just heard. Then remembered the week part.
"So he's only here for a week?"
"Yes. You know you can't play with time that often."
Wesley turned a little red remembering what happened.
"Do I wanna know?" Josh said trying not to laugh at his face.
"I don't think you do."
That got everyone to burst out laughing. Wesley hid on Josh's chest even more red.
"Well, I must be off. He will be gone next week and on his time by himself." Traveller said.
Wesley nodded and then he was gone.
Then Josh looked at Wesley.
"I guess you were opening presents?"
Wesley nodded and smiled. Then he continued to open presents.
Throughout the party Josh would be with Wesley and for the first time he would be smiling and laughing like he once was.
After finding out what happened it made sense to them all. Why he was upset and angry almost all the time, why he cut himself, why he would wake up crying and everything else.
He kept the pregnancy quiet from them though.
They felt sorry for him now knowing what's wrong.
After the party Wesley and Josh headed to his quarters. Riker and Deanna had gone back to the Titan and Beverly had gone back to Starfleet. They were all happy to so the real Wesley back.
When they got to his quarters they sat down.
"I missed you." Wesley said and finally gave in and cried with him in his arms.
"Shh, I'm right here Wes. Right here for a week." he said rubbing his back.
"And- and there's something else."
"What?"
"I, I was nine weeks pregnant! I found that out the day before you died and was going to tell you after the group. But I didn't get to and, and had a miscarriage a few weeks later!"
That got him to cry even harder and Josh to freeze.
When Wesley calmed down they looked at each other and kissed for a few minutes. Then they took deep breaths and smiled.
"Don't worry, it's not gonna happen again. I'm guessing your mom and Captain knows?" he said and Wesley nodded.
"Commander Riker and Councilor Troi do to but that's it."
Josh gave him a kiss then smirked and Wesley knew that smirk anywhere. He smirked back.
"Shall we?" Josh said.
Wesley nodded.
So they headed to his bed and got undressed then had sex.
