Gritting her teeth Autum was dragged into an interrogation room. They shoved her into a chair locking her shackled arms onto the chair behind her and her ankles to the legs of the chair. She looked up across the table seeing her younger brother who was already in the room. She looked at his injuries, her guess that such was from his fight. The bastard should've just left with Navi and anyone else he could've got out of there.
"Is your leg ok?" Eznik questioned her, smiling some. He noted that she was limping. He was trying to keep positive as best he could. Though he knew in the end they were all screwed, just lab rats waiting for their test. He watched her just nod in reply. His eyes trailed to the two-way mirror that surrounded the room. It was a bit old technology but still it did what it needed to do; hide whoever was on the other side of it.
Their attention went to the door as a woman came into the room followed by two men who were taller than her, from what Eznik and Autum could tell the same species and most likely family. She had white and purple hair that was held up by a metal clip. She had on a vest that had a couple of knives on it. She had a bag that was hoisted over her shoulder. She walked up dropping the bag next to her chair. She sat down digging into her bag; pulling out two flip cards she put one in front of Autum and the other in front of Eznik as they were pushed up closer to the table.
On the flip cards were zero's. It looked to be a low tech way for keeping score. The woman pulled out a small box setting it between the two flip cards. She glanced to her right where Autum was. She smiled at her brother who was behind Autum. He dropped his bag onto the ground. He grabbed a chair pulling it up behind Autum. She then looked to her other brother who already settled in behind Eznik, he nodded showing that he was ready to start the game.
"It's nice to meet you Eznik, Autum." She smirked. "That is my brother Thomas and he is my other brother Markus, as for myself I am Jewel. I heard that your other interrogation that you went through, they lied to you about killing each other, such pathetic and lame techniques. I'm sure you will enjoy my brothers and mine way much better." she chuckled.
"What it is, a little game where you count how many times we answer your questions?" Eznik questioned her as he nodded at the flip cards. He glanced at Thomas who was behind his sister. He doubted these two guys were in here to make sure they couldn't escape since they were pretty well secured.
"Close" Jewel pointed at Eznik. "It's more that you want less points in this game. It's very simple, you answer a question honestly, you don't get any points. And that's the point of the game. But you answer wrong, with sarcasm or a lie well you get punished. So let's say your sister here refuses to answer my brother, so Thomas punches her in the face, then she would get a point. Then if you refuse to answer your question well Markus decides he's going to punch you in the face and you get a point as well. So see it's better not to get points. Understand? I would ask if you wanted to play, but you have no choice in that. So let's begin. We'll start with you, Autum." looking in Autum's direction. "Since you have a military background I'm going to assume you're going to refuse to talk and just take the punishment. I'm sure there's no surprise there, you're no doubt going to be getting lots of unwanted points as we all know how the military are trained." She pulled out a file of papers; she looked through them pulling out a picture putting it in front of Autum. "So who is this young female that was in your group?"
Autum glanced at the picture. It was a picture of Gotenoo with her on her knees with the arrow in her shoulder, though her helmet hid her identity. Autum knew this was going to be a series of questions to try to get the names of who escaped. "Fuck off." she spoke up preparing herself to get hit. She winced as Markus slammed Eznik's face into the table. "You bitch! You said I would get hit!"
Jewel chuckled as her brother shoved Eznik's face into the table again and she flipped the card twice leaving Autum with two points. She glanced at Eznik's bloodied nose. "No, that was an example, and I just said you would be punished, it seems you were emotionally punished this time. He got hit again because well you talked when you weren't supposed to. I guess I forgot to tell you that you have to discover some rules on your own." Jewel informed Autum as she moved the picture in front of Eznik.
Eznik looked at the picture. Young female and from her height, it was Gotenoo. He thanked the goddess it was her from what he could tell they wanted to know who escaped. He was sure if she was captured they would be showing pictures of her face. He closed his eyes smiling and spoke in his native tongue to his sister. He let out a small cry as he was hit into the table again.
Jewel glanced at the two-way mirror. Her oldest brother, Gabriel, was on the other side of it giving her advice and also could translate. It seemed Eznik was telling his sister he could take the abuse of this so not to worry. "Would you like to say that in common language, Eznik?" Jewel questioned him as she took a glance at Autum who looked rather pissed off from them just taking this all out on Eznik.
"Your parents must have been really.." Eznik let out a groan as he was hit into the table before he could finish his comment. He closed his eyes from the pain he was sure his nose was broken now. He looked at Autum as blood ran down from his nostrils He chuckled a little knowing they were trying to make her snap from what he could tell. He thought they don't Autum.
"Maybe that was too hard of a starter question" Jewel spoke as she flipped Eznik's card to two as well. It was tied now with two. She took the picture and pulled out another picture sliding it in front of Autum. "Now what is her name, this is a simple one. Even I know what her name is, so you won't be giving us any new information here." Jewel spoke as she watched Autum, from what she could tell from her body language she wasn't going to talk.
"Fuck off." Autum snapped she gritted her teeth as she was hit in the side of the head with a set of brass knuckles. She looked at Markus who also had a set on. It seemed every time it went back to her they would change what they do and also who they do it to. It was going to make them stay on their toes.
"Eznik, would you like to tell me who this is? She won the death dealer games once, so she is on record. I know you can do it." Jewel spoke as she pushed the picture in front of him. "I need her first and last name so that no-one gets any points."
Eznik closed his eyes, he needed to decide, was this woman lying about no one getting hurt or not. What was worse in this game he didn't know all of the rules which made it harder to work around the game. He knew Deka would be easy for them to get her name. He was going to try it and see what happens. "Deka Lenkisa." Eznik opened his eyes speaking up.
"See that wasn't hard." Jewel spoke as she opened up the small box on the table and pulled out a small chip. She tossed it in front of Eznik. It was a small chip that had the word 'skip' on it. "That lets you skip a question with no consequences. Now you're ahead of your sister by one." She flipped over the picture and on the back of it, it already had Deka's name on it. "Let's try an even easier one then." She looked at Autum. "What species is Deka?"
Autum glared at Jewel. She snapped another fowl phrase in another language. She let out a cry as the man just shot her in her broken leg with some drug. She closed her eyes, gritting her teeth. She opened her eyes, holding her tongue back to keep Eznik from getting pointlessly hurt because she couldn't hold back her own anger.
Jewel shook her head. "Well, that should help with you talking to 's a special blend." she chortled as she looked at Eznik. "Can you answer that question? That would give you two skip tokens." She knew Eznik would talk more but would not give up any new information unless you push the right buttons, from what she read from the last interrogations.
"Ratsuda" Eznik spoke quietly. He grimaced as Markus wiped the blood from his nose and off of his face. He glanced back at Markus then to the new skip token he had just earned. His attention went to Jewel who clapped some. It was clear they were going to use psychological warfare against them as much as possible.
"You're getting a hang of it, in reward you get to hear another rule." Jewel picked up one of the chips out of her box. She flipped it over showing him the other side that had 'talk' written on it. "Those chips allow you to talk to your sister for a couple of moments. She may also talk to you in return in that time limit. One more thing if you get three skip chips something good happens." She smiled sweetly at Eznik.
"Alright now it's your turn again, Autum." She clicked her tongue. "I hate to point this out but you're not very good at this game. You're losing big time. I suppose your use to your brother is always beating you, huh? He seems a lot smarter than you. So again no surprises here." She pulled out a picture of Sakki. It had Sakki written on the picture. "I need a last name, now we do know he is a Raktvira, which we all know they have to register with the government. All we have to do is get his fingerprint to get it, but I'm giving you this question so you can get a skip chip." Jewel spoke trying to bargain with Autum.
Autum closed her eyes smirking as she said another thing in her native tongue telling her to rot in hell. She gritted her teeth as the man punched her hard in the ribs, breaking one of them. Autum gasp some from the pain trying to hold back the screams.
Eznik bit his lip, though he knew Autum could take it. He remembered finding her at the police station. She looked like utter crap, so no doubt this is probably how she did that interrogation. Glancing at Sakki's picture that was put in front of him, he spoke up. "Question." he looked at Jewel pondering if that was a key word in this game.
"Go ahead and ask away." Jewel smirked as it seemed the Doctor was trying to play his cards in the game. She knew from what her brother said Eznik would do everything in his power to pick this game apart to try and cheat the system.
"Can I use both chips in one turn?" Eznik asked her, he wasn't sure if he would or Autum would be punished for asking the question in the first place. It was a chance he needed to take to at least know how to ask questions and if there was a price behind it or not.
"No, you can only use one per turn. Though why burn them for when you get three then you and your sister won't get hit for a few rounds even if you don't respond properly." Jewel looked at him trying to push him to go in the 'wanted'' direction and get the prize.
Eznik leaned back some, his mind was drowning in the pain from his bashed nose and his head was pounding. He ran everything through his head. He could pass it and take this 'good' thing. A few rounds without getting hit had to have a bad side to it, some penalty she hadn't informed them of. There had to be a bad twist to it. He looked at Jewel. "Skip". Eznik spoke as he watched Jewel pick up one of his pieces as well as the picture.
"Last name." Jewel spoke as she placed the picture in front of Autum again. She watched Autum who clearly wasn't going to answer anything. Autum once again responded with a couple of cuss words in another language. Jewel listened to her brother's translation along with his instruction for who would get hit this round.
"Break one of her brother's ribs" coached a man with white hair that stood on the other side of the mirror watching. He was the oldest out of the four. He had two screens in the room, on the videos were close ups of Eznik and Autum's faces. He was watching facial responses, also listening to their dialect. In front of him, he had a set of papers with a list of the questions along with things they would do to Autum and Eznik. He flipped over a break a rib card and glanced at the next paper that said 'knife'. He studied Autum's disgusted response to them hitting her brother. "This round we go only after her brother. Show her the knife Markus so it's clear we are going to be hurting her brother. Now ask her again for Sakki's last name." He instructed through the headset he was wearing. He was going to get Autum to give this information even if they already knew it. To break those of special forces is always a prize.
Autum gritted her teeth as Eznik had his head on the table with his eyes closed from the pain of his rib getting broken. She looked at Markus as she clenched her hands inside of their shackles. She would kill the bastard if she got out of there. She looked at the knife that Markus pulled out nodding to Eznik.
"So Autum this time, what is Sakki's last name." Jewel repeated as she leaned back waiting for Autum's response. She glanced at Eznik who still had his head on the table trying to fight the pain he was in.
Autum looked at the mirror knowing the bastards were watching this all. She didn't want to talk and give them anything. But she didn't want to risk her brother getting killed because she wouldn't talk at all. She knew this tactic, but she didn't know if she could watch him suffer. She let out a small sigh of defeat. "Venatris." she spoke quietly as she stared at the table.
Jewel grinned as she tossed a chip in front of Autum. "See, wasn't hard." She flipped over Sakki's picture showing that they already had his last name as well. "Seems we already ran his prints, oh well at least you didn't give us anything new right?" She shuffled through her papers and then tossed down another picture of a helmeted person. She put it in front of Eznik. "I know he wasn't in your group but, he can teleport so you should know who he is just by that trait alone."
Eznik looked at the picture; it seemed Zigor also got out of the hell hole as well. There were other species that teleported so they couldn't find out who he was. He was going to keep it that way. "So about your par-" Eznik let out a cry as he was stabbed in his already injured shoulder. He closed his eyes it seemed his little smooth talking off topic really wouldn't work with these people.
"Not very smart, Eznik. It's why your sister actually answered that last time to keep that from happening. You just played your cards wrong and should've just skipped it. You have that choice. Oh well, that's how you learn to play the game." She looked at Autum moving the picture to her.
Autum watched Markus who kept the knife out toying with it. Gritting her teeth she had to decide what was going to happen. Were they going to hit Eznik with it or her? She did have the skip token, but she had a feeling it would go to him, he would either skip or do something stupid and get hurt again. She shook her head. She feared him getting hurt a lot more than she usually did. Her guess this wasn't a normal drug used for interrogation. She closed her eyes trying to sort through these misleading emotions. "Talk." she finally spoke up looking at Eznik.
Jewel put a small device on the table pushing it. A small hover clock came up with 2 minutes on it. "You have 2 minutes you may start" she was a bit surprised that Autum would burn it on a talk, but then again her brother said she would because of the drug.
Autum closed her eyes, she needed to be simple and not break down. It felt like she was going to start crying which she hated more than anything. This was a drug that they clearly got for this style of interrogation. "The drug they put in me is for emotions." She spoke quietly as her voice cracked some.
Eznik glanced away thinking about what she had said. "Keep your head up I can take the blows. You know I am a tough fucker." Eznik chuckled as they had two minutes to burn. "You know they must have a really fucked up mother and father if you know this is their game that they play." he looked at Autum smiling. "I mean real games have the players with weapons and so on. Though there are the lovely question games but usually you just make your way on a hoverboard. I guess they were abused a lot when they were younger." Eznik rambled on hoping to help Autum to get her emotions in hold. He watched the clock as it counted down the last seconds. He closed his eyes as there was a soft beep from it.
Jewel pushed the clock button and then looked at Autum. "So…?" She smiled at her. "A name?" She studied Autum who spoke quietly. "Teres…" She winced as her and Eznik both were hit hard in the side of the head. "Don't think we can't tell when you're lying. Also we know that's your older brother's name." Jewel spoke as she flipped the card over adding a point to Autum.
Autum gritted her teeth knowing this was going to be a long game. What was worse, them hitting Eznik was tearing at her. Part of her wanted to say whatever the hell they wanted so they would leave him alone. She closed her eyes trying to gain her composure back.
Eznik looked at the picture that was pushed in front of him. He let out a small sigh. "Teres.." he chuckled and gritted his as he was hit hard in his already broken ribs. He looked at Autum who had put her head on the table.
Jewel looked at the two of them as she flipped over a card adding another point to Eznik. She moved her bangs out of her eyes listening to her older brother. "I believe it's time for a small bonus round." She grinned as she spoke. She stood up taking the picture of Zigor putting into her files.
The oldest brother touched a hover screen bringing up more data. He glanced through the files touching one as it opened. "We are going to aim for Autum first." He skimmed through the file to find what he wanted. "We'll start with her sister Rhea. According to the government files her and her older sister turned Rhea over to the government. From there Rhea went downhill till she killed herself." He spoke as he looked over to the screen with Autum and her heart rate on it. It was clear they were getting to her. He wanted to break her more than Eznik. More for the fact that she had been interrogated several times yet never gave up anything. What more he already got her to give up one bit of information it seemed his own drug was what she needed.
Jewel walked up to Autum and bent down as she took in every word her brother spoke. She looked at Autum who had her head resting on the table. "In this little bonus you can say what you want. Neither of you will get punished for anything you say. So Autum what about your younger sister… According to the government files you turned her in personally to the government."
Autum stared at the table listening to Jewel. Was it true? She closed her eyes and her emotions tore at her. She didn't have those memories; she only had stories of what had happened. She stayed quiet trying to drown out her own thoughts.
Eznik sat quiet watching his sister. It seemed they did a 360 with the game. Instead of asking questions they were going to attack emotions now. Though they didn't know she didn't have a lot of memories. He knew as well the painful memories that they would use to attack, she had no emotional ties to them. He just prayed she could keep focus and not let her mind take over and let what they are saying hit her.
Jewel watched her reaction. It didn't seem to hit as hard as Jewel thought it would have, which was a little bit baffling. "Which leads to your sister, Rhea's death, but Eznik took the blame for it. He took your punishment for you. What more he was captured the first time…and tortured unmercifully because he was with you. How much are you going to take out on him? You keep not answering our questions and he keeps getting punished. Seems you care for him about as much as you cared for your younger sister. His time is ticking away and yet you seem to want to put more stress on him to make it all end faster" she spoke watching Autum.
Eznik went to speak but a gag was crammed in his mouth and then another gag was placed over his mouth holding in the rag and tied behind his head. He let out a muffled yell and shook his head some. It seemed they didn't want him putting in his input. They were going to signal out Autum attacking her emotions, because of the drugs effect that she had let her brother know was indeed affecting her..
Everything Jewel had said was slowly sinking in, Autum felt Jewel grab her chin forcing her to look at her. She didn't even fight her. Autum felt weak. She was fighting everything else in hopes she would not break down.
Markus walked over to Jewel's things grabbing a file. He walked up, dropping the file on the table. He glanced at Eznik who didn't look too happy about this all. Markus shrugged as he sat down in his sister's chair.
Out of the corner of Autum's eyes she glanced at the files Markus had dropped. Her heart sunk; they had files on the blonde now and the faerie. She stared at the one that had Link's name on it.
Jewel watched which one she had her focus, her emotions on. "And then there are these to non-mergers who you seemed to drag along with you for whatever reason. Because of you… they now are on record." She picked up Link's file and set the picture of him in front of her "You know what that means… a non-merger with a record with the dimensional government? I'm sure you do… you did work here once, didn't you?."
Staring at Link's picture, her heart sank. What was worse; part of her feared him coming there in some half-assed idea of rescuing her. She knew he wouldn't give up. He would find a way there but he would be just going in for the slaughter. Or these bastards would just use him against here. She gritted her teeth. She was so angry.
"You know, he doesn't seem to be a bad kid, this Link just got himself into a bad situation. But unfortunately, at this point if he came here, he would just be killed now. It would be another offense against the government leaving him with his third mark. He wouldn't even be kept alive as a lab rat. They have all the lab rats they need. And he's nothing special, is he? No great talent or skill the government would need or want. So no loss. But in the end, it adds up as another death because of you. Seems you're still assassinating people you've just changed your techniques and tactics letting others do the work for you. But then…on the other hand, if you want to tell us some things… possibly, I can push for them not to kill him. Did I say possibly? I meant.. I can make sure he is not killed or even hurt for that matter if you're willing to share, that is." Jewel could tell by Autum's eyes and from how her brother was reacting she was very much emotionally attached to this Link, kid. Part of her wished they had the blonde. He would have been an extra piece that would have added so much fun to this game because she felt like he was about to change the game without even being here..
Autum closed her eyes. "You won't kill him… If he comes…" " I promise you.. He won't die.". "And once I get out of here.. I'm going to kill you.." Autum snarled as she opened her eyes glaring at her though a couple of tears did escape and fell to the table.
Jewel smirked; ah, it seemed they just did break a wall. With those tears it meant they were getting to her. "What makes you so sure he won't die? He is a sword wielder, from a planet that is centuries away from having guns. Only reason he hasn't been killed before was because they were low security places. They also knew they couldn't kill him. Here, well they can kill him and do whatever they please with his corpse."
Grinding her teeth together at the mention of him dying, Autum didn't even want to think of it any more. If he died, she wouldn't be able to hold herself together it felt like. In the back of her mind she knew it was because of the drug, but as for the rest she could feel herself running the feeling though her mind. She closed her eyes trying not to think of it, but it was too late.
Jewel bent down next to Autum. "What's wrong? Did it finally hit you that he is going to die? Only you at this point can protect him. All we need is a few names, nothing more and I will personally make sure Link isn't killed."
Eznik shook his head. Only his muffled cries could be heard. She couldn't give up those kids' names. He closed his eyes and winced as he was shot in the side with a medical gun. He looked up at Thomas who gave a sly smile.
The pain, the drug was tearing her down. Autum ran everything through her mind. She opened her eyes looking at Jewel who was right next to her. She watched her get up. "Fuck off…" Autum gritted her teeth finally saying to Jewel.
"What about you, Eznik? You gave yourself up, ready to die. Then what your daughter gives herself up to protect you." She walked over to Eznik grabbing a file from Markus who was still in her chair. She dropped the file in front of Eznik. "With your grand escape from the station.. you forgot your other daughter. Kali, at this point she is still there, because of you. You escaped so that meant she had to be held there. Maybe I could be her foster parent."
Eznik stared at the file. By the goddess he did forget her. He winced some as he felt the gag being loosened. He coughed once it was pulled out. He shook his head some he needed to keep his composure for this. He also needed to get Autum backup before she starts spilling her hurt guts to them. He knew this about Kali also would hurt Autum as well. "Go for it because the moment you get her I will be able to sleep well because I know my older brother and sister will be there to kill you."
Jewel watched him, he was being defensive. She knew she couldn't give him time to speak out to his sister. "Then there is the fact you brought your other daughter to this place, Gotenoo. You weren't even with her, were you? You left her in the hands of your sister, but she couldn't even protect her."
Eznik gritted his teeth. Ok this was a trap, right? They needed to confirm that it was possible that Gotenoo was one of the people who escaped. That would leave them with one less person they didn't know about. They were still attacking Autum indirectly now. "Why don't you get who is ever on the other side of the mirrors to come here? Or are they just a coward who has to hide behind a mirror. I highly doubt a girl like you would know how to read us. You clearly haven't been watching facial expression and body language all that much."
Jewel pulled a picture of Gotenoo. She then picked up the picture of Gotenoo with the arrow in her. "By height and body structure and the female voice, this girl is your daughter. You can't deny it at all can you, doctor? You can say how much of a fake I am, but I do know this is your daughter. That arrow that she was shot with was covered in a poison that will tear away at her muscle. How do you think that feels? She doesn't have doctor daddy there to help her wounds."
Eznik glared at her. He knew that Gotenoo was more susceptible to poisons and medicines. She was in good hands, right? Autum's squad would be trained well, what's more they were a group of rebels. They had to have a good doctor, everything would be fine. He couldn't let his emotions drag on this. He had to be defensive.
"Then again you're just a coward. Waiting to die, but then you leave your sister and all of those kids without some caring doctor." Jewel snapped at him. "You drag all of them into this mess and then you're going to just bail on all them. Does that even sound fair Autum, your younger brother just going to up and kick the bucket on you?" Looking towards Autum as she spoke knowing she needed to keep on Autum in the game as well.
Walking over to Autum, Jewel studied her "Leaving you here alone." Sitting on the table again Jewel picked up the photo of Link. "Did you decide if you want him to live or not? I can't remember. I mean if he did die.. you would be alone. I mean once Eznik dies which he doesn't have that long now, does he? You'll be all alone there would be no hope, not even a small ray."
Eznik glared at Jewel. "Link won't die. Even as much as you keep saying he will be killed you're wrong." He spoke up knowing he needed to keep Autum from letting names go. "The government wouldn't up and kill someone like him who has such a big influence on his world."
Jewel chuckled as she looked at Eznik. "How is he a big influence right now? You two have corrupted the boy. Introduced him to technology he should have never known about. And when the government tried to help him it seemed just being in another dimension messed with his mind. He can't even go home at this point for what's wrong with his mind the government won't risk that...Besides he'll just end up coming back like he did last time. No, he's burnt all his goodwill."
Eznik shook his head. "There's nothing wrong with his mind. We can't help the government sucks at erasing someone's mind." He snapped at her. It was clear he was being extremely defensive. He was trying to pick up his sister's slack in this. He was always trying to drown his mind out of everything else like Jewel had said.
Jewel smirked at Eznik. "They have done it thousands of times. You know this, you're a doctor, sometimes species are affected differently by dimensional travel. He happens to be one of the unlucky ones and it's going to cost him his life if he comes here." Glancing at Autum who had her eyes shut. "So you give me names Autum and I will promise you that the boy won't get hurt."
"You can't promise anything." Eznik snapped. "You're nothing more than a hired interrogator, nothing more. You say whatever you want to get the results you need. But you have no influence on the people who work here. None whatsoever! So why don't you bring in someone who does have some authority. "
Jewel got up off the table. "Wrong you are. I get authority when I work, that's part of my pay.. I have more influence than you think I do. So you can either believe it or not. I don't care. In the end, it's what you believe if you believe I can't help that boy then he is dead no matter what. But if you believe I can… well, you better corporate and give me names. You are the only one who can protect that boy now." Jewel looked at her brother Markus who got up walking back behind Autum. "It seems your nice little bonus round is over."
Autum stared at the table. Did this girl really have that authority to keep Link safe? No, she knew her squad would never let him come here. No, that's not true Miles and the others are reckless. They would find it a challenge or maybe they changed. Or maybe he'll talk that damn little faerie into bringing him cause she would do anything for him. Her heart cringed; she didn't want Link to die. He was more or less like her kid. She hated this feeling, feeling vulnerable, weak, overpowered.
"So whose turn was it? I think it was yours." Jewel pulled out the picture of Zigor once again putting it in front of Autum. "You give me his name I will get signed papers from the Upper here saying that Link will be safe."
Autum shook her head glaring at her. "Go fuck off." She snapped as her voice cracked. It was clear she was breaking. It wasn't going to be pretty when she did fall. Who knows what else she would give up. She was battling emotions she hid away so she didn't have to deal with it any more but now they were pouring forth full power..
Eznik let out a small cry as he was hit in his broken rib. He let out a gasp from the pain that shot through him. He bit his lip knowing that the drug was affecting him. He looked at Zigor's picture as it was pushed in front of him. "Better off punching me now. I'm a little tired of looking at that picture." he sassed as he looked at Jewel. He gritted his teeth as he was punched again.
Jewel sat in her chair flipping both of the cards in front of them. She glanced to the mirror and nodded some. It seemed her older brother wanted to give a final push. "Markus, if you would get the door. It seems we have another guest who heard how much fun we were having so it seems they want to play as well."
Eznik eyes shot to the door as Deka was brought in on a chair. She was strapped to it. She had a muzzle on her face. She struggled trying to get free from her restraints. She winced as the chair was dropped across from Jewel. "Alright we shall keep it simple… you talk rat.. you break a rule. You can only speak when spoken to."
Markus walked up and took off Deka's muzzle. Deka looked at Eznik and then to Autum. They both looked worse for wear. She didn't like the look of this. Looking at the picture that was pushed up to her, "This young man was in your group, what is his name?" Jewel asked as she watched Deka closely.
"Yah think I can tell by a helmet?" Deka questioned her. She winced as Eznik let out a small cry as for Autum held in her small muffled cry. They both were hit hard in the side. "What the hell lady!" Deka snapped as she looked at both of them getting hit again.
Jewel glanced at Autum who let out a small whimper. Her brother though, it seemed he wanted to just finish this even if he didn't get Autum to snap. He had her crying. It was a big feat and also had her surrender information even if they already had it. "Simple.. this is all a game." She put out a flip card in front of Deka flipping it twice. "You just earned yourself two points." She smirked at Deka who was glaring back at her.
"Alright" Jewel pulled out the picture of Gotenoo once again and placed it in front of Autum. "Is this Gotenoo Hitaru?" She questioned Autum. It was time to find out if she cared at all for the rat. Her guess it won't be as strong as a reaction as when things happened to her brother.
Autum closed her eyes, not saying anything. She winced as Deka let out a cry. She looked up at Deka who had just been stabbed by Markus in the side. It was a much deeper wound than he had done to Eznik or her. It was clear they stepped up their game.
"You're not going to say anything? Are you so afraid you're going to slip?" Jewel laughed some. She grinned at Autum when she gave her a death glare. "If you stop saying anything at all I promise you I'll let you watch Link die as well as your brother." She smirked. She moved the picture over to Eznik.
Eznik was watching Deka who was in a lot of pain. She also was bleeding which he knew would be bad if they kept going at her. He looked at Markus who had the blade ready. He looked at the picture of his daughter knowing they pretty much already knew. He didn't want Deka to suffer so he closed his eyes. "Yes.. it is." He spoke quietly as his heart cringed as he just gave up his daughter.
Jewel smiled as she flipped over the picture and it had Gotenoo's name on the back of it already. "Very good, see you didn't even give us anything we didn't already know." She looked at Deka who was panting some as she was trying to fight through the pain the best she could.
Deka looked at the picture of Gajra who looked to be in a medical wing. "Need a name, Deka. You can make this easy on yourself. You give up names, we can end this and get your side patched up." Jewel spoke hoping that this girl would just give up the name.
Deka smirked some. "It's yah mother." She let out a scream as she was stabbed hard in the ribs, no doubt injuring her lung as well. She gasp from the pain as she laid her head on the table. She whimpered from the pain as she struggled to breath but she knew she had to fight it. Eznik and Autum were both doing it and she wouldn't give up anything. Though she just watched Eznik give up Gotenoo, was he finally worn down too much?
Eznik bit his lip; they weren't trying to make Deka last, they were just trying to break her fast. It was clear they were willing to let her die to get the information they wanted. If she didn't give up anything she would either pass out or bleed to death. He looked at Jewel as she passed the picture to Autum.
"Name?" she questioned Autum, though knowing she wouldn't budge. She bent down next to Autum. "You can still give me a name and I will protect Link when he comes here. You know, he will come." She looked at Autum who looked at her.
"You can't protect anyone you piece of fuck.." Autum snapped glancing at Deka who let out a shriek as she was stabbed in the side once again. Autum's heart sunk, they just stabbed her in a vital spot. If she didn't get medical treatment immediately she would die.
Eznik shook his head looking at Jewel. "She's going to die! She needs medical treatment now!" He snapped as he clenched his hands and he struggled against his shackles. He wouldn't let Deka die; he wouldn't let any of those kids die, while he was still alive.
"That's a shame since the game's not over. No medical attention, no leaving this room until the game's over. It's part of the rules of the game." Jewel stated as she shrugged. She pulled out a paper out of her bag putting it in the middle of the table. "You have permission to allow Deka Lenkisa to die, the death is not on your hands or any of the Fergeru family. The ones who will be responsible for her death are Eznik Rhea Hitaru and Autum Venus Hitaru and they will be dealt with by the governmental laws for murder. Signed by Oskal Izuka, which he is the Upper here." She held the paper to Eznik knowing he would be the one who would protest first." Any time when we are allowed to kill someone we always get paperwork. So it's up to you two if you let her die, since you don't believe I have any influence here. What I want are the names of the two who escaped and the pink haired demon and this man. Oh, wait a minute you did talk out of line, didn't you." She smirked at Eznik.
Deka screamed out as she was stabbed again. She was getting pale. She started wheezing and coughing. She closed her eyes. "D-don't do it." she managed to say under her breath. At least she went out not giving up anyone, right? she said to herself, patting herself on the back in a manner of speaking. She had tears running down her cheeks as the pain became unbearable. She was bleeding out. She could feel everything slipping from felt so cold.
Autum looked to Deka who was fighting everything. Her eyes trailed to the paper, they had it all planned. They were outplayed hard. She closed her eyes, it meant that she could protect Link. She had to trust in the boy, right? He was a fighter… but what if.
"Gajra, he has no last name that I know of. Rin is an assassin. Don't have any idea what type of demon she is and she never gave us a last name. Assassin for hire records you can find it there. The boy is Zigor Tigerous and the other who escaped is Atia who is a Kabandha, no clue what her real name is." Eznik spoke up looking at Jewel. He would not let Deka die, not on his watch. Those papers had the DP seal on them and were real. "Now let me go so I can start treating her!" he snapped at Jewel.
Jewel glanced at Thomas and nodded. Eznik stumbled out of his chair taking off his tattered coat holding it on her side. "I need medical supplies now!" he yelled. He could deal with the fact that they got all of the information they wanted later. He looked at the door as a medical team ran in and shot Deka with a couple of things. They shoved Eznik out of the way so they could start immediate treatment for Deka.
Eznik looked at Thomas who had grabbed his arm pulling him away from the medical team. He looked at Deka who was carried out of the room hooked up to a couple of machines. He was guided to his chair and he sat down in it. Rubbing his wrist some he looked at the table knowing he just sold out everyone.
Jewel picked up the cards looking at the final numbers. "It seems my brother predicted right on." She chuckled as she glanced at Autum. Autum was watching her brother. He gave up everyone just for one person. One person was not worth selling out the rest in her mind. Also Deka seemed to be willing to die and not give up the information. Her eyes trailed to the files on Link, even with him she didn't. "Autum, since you're in such a talkative mood. Where did they retreat to?" Jewel questioned her.
Autum closed her eyes. "You said no-one got medical treatment or leaves this room till the game is over. The game is over, so go fuck off you got what you wanted." She cringed as Eznik let out a cry, he was stabbed deep in his side. She looked at Jewel who had a large grin across her face. "See the game is over for your brother, it's true. We got all the information we needed from him. Now the question is do you want to watch him die here or let him last a little bit longer?"
Autum gritted her teeth. Those bastards didn't have papers to kill him. He also couldn't take the stress on his body; he would die. She looked at Eznik who was crippled over holding his side. He was breathing heavily trying to keep himself in check. He was trying to keep pressure on his wound. Hearing the door open she glanced as the oldest brother walked into the room.
"No, the better question would be why would a selfish bitch like you come here? I doubt you felt a sudden urge to be selfless and to save your niece. You would be here for some selfish reason. So why don't you share that. Or should I take this paper into action?" Gabriel put down a piece of paper that said they could let Eznik die if they got all the information they believe he would give up.
Autum growled as she stared at the paper. If only she could move her hands she would punch this fucker in the 'd rip his eyes right out of their sockets. She closed her eyes she couldn't let Eznik die, even as much as she didn't want to have a place for him in her heart she cared for the annoying fuck. She knew that from when they told her that they killed him. It seemed in the end it would be her annoying younger brother that would make her break. "I owe my life to the fucktard demon, Celtic." She proclaimed coldly as she looked at her brother who was holding his side.
Watching her carefully for any facial movements, something seemed off. It seemed to be a half truth. "Full reason you're here for Celtic or I let my younger brother kill yours." Gabriel snapped not wanting to linger in here. He also just wanted to watch her break and give up something useful and personal. His victory.
Autum closed her eyes. She hated this, she hated that the one weakness she tried to let go of was still there. Her damn family was her weakness and Link managed to find his way in there as well. What would she give up to this bastard? Seals or that he's her husband? She let out a small sigh of defeat "He's my husband." she spoke quietly. She winced as she was hit hard in the side by the brother.
"That is for letting your younger brother get the shit beat out of him. You're supposed to be protecting his ass. It's what older siblings do. Get the doctor out of here and get those wounds fixed up. Toss her to the scientists so they can run their test on her." The oldest commanded as he picked up both of the papers walking out of the room.
Oskal clapped his hands. "Very well done, the money was well spent on you." He grinned knowing if he needed more information he could just toss those two back in a room. He took the signed papers looking at them. "It seems you didn't need them."
"Never do, just need them to cover our asses if we can't break someone, that's all." Gabriel stated as he looked through the two way mirror at Autum who was struggling trying to get out of her shackles. It seemed she wanted a piece of his brothers. He glanced at Thomas as he dragged Eznik out of the room.
"So about the drug you gave them. Would you be willing to sell?" Oskal questioned. Gabriel shook his head. "My own formula, also not traceable so you won't be able to get it out of them, so if you're wanting to be able to use you have to keep paying us."
Oskal smirked as he looked at the two guards who picked up Autum's chair with her still in it taking her out of the room. "I'm sure I will contact you if I need more information extracted." He nodded walking out of the room. He was tempted to sick them onto his son. He was having guards tear up Reki's ceiling in his room and everything else in there looking for the flash chip.
