Link walked into the medical room. His ears perked up as he heard a couple voices. He looked over at Zigor who was sitting up on the bed. Next to him in a chair was the older Atia. She still was clinging tight to Eznik's coat. By the tone of Zigor's voice it was clear it was a serious conversation he was having with her.
Zigor looked to the teen who clearly had helped himself to some clothes. He was garbed in dark grey pj pants and a blue shirt. Zigor chuckled some as he laid back on the bed. "Hope those are comfy." Zigor joked as he held his side, it still was tender.
Looking to his clothes and smiling weakly Link walked up to the two. He glanced at Atia, he didn't think she had escaped. His guess was what the conversation was about. "Sorry, I really have nothing of my own. Quou has what little I own." He apologized as he sat down next to Atia.
"It's fine." Zigor laughed, he wasn't sure why someone else had Link's clothes. His guess this Quou was someone else who was a rebel. "I guess more of the question is what are we doing to try to get the others out of there?" He looked to the ceiling. He didn't have a clue how to go about it. There were so many of them trapped, they would all be spread out. Most of all hopefully all alive.
"Miles and Jaraj are working out the kinks." Link explained. "Do you know what the main plan is?" Zigor questioned him. "We are going to get on a guard post, but it's several hours till then." He wasn't sure how much time had passed. Also no word from Miles, his guess it wasn't going to well with Jacob.
"Guard post." Zigor spoke up as he thought about it. He slowly sat up looking at Atia. The woman was still a mess, he didn't know what else to tell her. "Go get yourself cleaned up Atia. We will need someone here and ready to help out." he suggested for her.
Atia nodded a little getting to her feet. "Please bring them back." she spoke up quietly as she walked out of the room.
Link watched her. "She didn't fight and blames a lot of what happened on herself." Zigor stated as he looked at Gotenoo. "It didn't matter they predicted our move and was ready for us." He let out a small sigh. Getting off the bed he stretched some.
"A real guard post hopefully gives us the upper hand. It sounds like the making of a good plan." Zigor said as he looked to Link. It was clear that Link was watching his every movement. "If you are worried I shouldn't be moving around, I am fine." He assured Link about his condition.
"How did she escape? Atia, I mean." Link finally decided to ask. He was sure that Navi only brought these two back. Watching Zigor as he walked over to Gotenoo. "Atia can plane shift, it's different from how me and Navi teleport. She can only take herself. I'm guessing she bailed onto another plane till she was well enough to come back to the ship. I would recommend to stay away from her for the time being." he explained the best he could. He also rather not have Link worry about Atia's mental state as she was unstable and could possibly attack someone. He also rather have Atia away from everyone else hopefully she could meditate and get in a better mindset, pull herself back together.
Link nodded some trying to get the idea of it. He wasn't sure of the planes still, but it seemed she was able to escape. Also meant that they would have an eleventh person, though she didn't look to be in a mindset to help. He looked to Zigor who headed out of the room. Link followed him, he really didn't have anyone else to bother.
Zigor looked back at Link. "I'm guessing Navi is busy?" he questioned Link, who nodded some. Zigor could understand why Link was following him. He got left here alone, with strangers. He also was the only one Link really knew around here too, besides Navi who was busy doing who knows what.
Walking into the room he was using he let out a small sigh. He did want some personal time, his mind still sifting through everything that had happened. Zigor walked over to a bag of clothes looking through it. "I am going to take a shower, but you can hang out in here and watch the vid" Zigor offered.
Looking back at Link who was a bit confused. He pointed to the screen on the wall. Part of him forgot that the teen never saw stuff like this. "Er.. Comp Vid on." He spoke looking to the screen as it turned on.
Link's ears went up as the screen flashed on and seemed to have people in it. "Have you heard of a camera?" Zigor asked hopeful, possibly even Eznik explained that one to him, since he loved cameras.
Nodding a little. "So.. this happens to be a camera that captures movement. Well, actually, another device captures it and this just plays what it captures. A Lot of it is staged stuff that is there for entertainment. There are some that is like a newspaper and gives you current updates on what is happening around the dimensions." Zigor did his best to explain to Link. "Sit down on the bed and enjoy."
Link walked over to the bed. Zigor tossed him a small device. "The right side has an up and down, that will switch what is shown to something new. The other side adjusts the volume, how loud or soft the sound. You don't have to use it, but I doubt you want to watch the news." He laughed as he walked into the bathroom closing the door behind him.
Looking at the device it had all sorts of buttons on it. Frowning a bit he glanced to the screen that had 'mute' displayed on the corner. Looking back at the remote he looked for a button that said the same thing. He jumped a little as audio started to play from the screen.
"Here at one of the many DG Courthouses planetside many have come to protest about the capture of Brat." A woman spoke up as a crowd stood behind her. She looked over to a man. "Why are you here protesting here?" The man shook his head. "Because they should release her and let the ones who lost loved ones deal with her! So we can tear her apart like she did them!" he attested.
Link frowned, it seemed Zigor was right about the newsl. He looked at the remote pushing the arrow to go to another station, but it seemed to be the news again. After a few more clicks he found what seemed to be a tourism channel for visiting upscale stations.
20 minutes passed, Zigor walked out, tossing his old clothes onto the ground. He walked up and plopped on the bed looking up to the screen. "We been to that station a few years back." he said as he rotated his arm trying to work out some kinks.
Link didn't know what to say. It seemed Zigor was trying to make small talk. He tossed the remote back to Zigor. He watched Zigor change the channel.
"Forgot to warn you that there are a lot of news stations. Most of them in DG support, there are a couple of non-support one's." Zigor explained as he laid back. This station was just music and scenery.
Link let out a small sigh as he laid back. He looked up at the ceiling. The two laid just listening to the music. Trying to clear their minds for what was coming. Neither of them wanted to ask the question, would they really be able to save their friends.
"You both are hard to find." Miles exclaimed as she looked at them from the door. She had her hands on her hips. She had changed out of the clothes from their little trip. "Come on Link, Long ears." She quipped. "Time is ticking and we need to figure out how we are going about this."
"Long ears?" Zigor questioned her as he stood up. "It's Zigor." He snipped at her. He walked over and grabbed a set of sandals and tossed them on. He glanced at Link who didn't have any shoes on. He opened up the closet and pulled out another set and tossed them at him. "Wear those."
Miles chuckled at the teens. "Alright, Zigor. Didn't want to call you Ziggy, since I was assuming that's what your girlfriend called you." Zigor was a little red. "Deka isn't my girlfriend, she also isn't my type." he argued with Miles.
Smirking, she decided to leave it at that. She glanced to Link who was looking oddly at the shoes that Zigor had given him. "They are called sandals." Miles informed him. "They take a little time to get used to, but come on." She waved for them to follow.
Zigor followed behind with his arms crossed, still a little pissy about the girlfriend comment. He glanced at Link who clearly was uncomfortable in the sandals. "Do you need a different shoe?" he asked Link.
Links ears went low, he wanted to say yes, but he knew that time wasn't on their side. He was surprised as Zigor up and vanished. He reappeared with another pair of shoes. He dropped them to the ground. "Those should be easier."
"Can all of you teleport?" Miles looked back at them surprised by Zigor. She pointed at Link. "You can't right?" Link shook his head. "Only me and Navi." Zigor informed Miles. He winced as Miles grabbed his arm. "Good, you can teleport us to the tent." She put her other hand on Link's shoulder as he was sliding on other shoes.
Zigor frowned a little, he really shouldn't be teleporting, this much after an injury. "Fine.. think about where to." With that the group was outside of a building. Miles moved her hand off of Zigor. "A lot better than walking around, I could get used to that." She chuckled. She glanced at Zigor and it was clear by his face, teleporting was wearing on him. "Once we get in you can sit down and rest."
She opened the door, it was a large open hanger. There was a shuttle in there with some people working on it. Leading the two teens over to a round table where a group had already gathered. Grabbing a chair she dragged it over. "Sit." She looked to Zigor.
"Oh, looky slave boy is awake." Ferira grinned as Zigor sat down. "Looky Miles brought goldie locks too. Seems like" He grimaced as Quou slapped him in the face. He looked back at Quou who picked up her chair walking over to the group. "What the hell Quou!?" He looked at her as Miles laughed.
"I thought this is what you army people did to get into the mood, call each other rude names and hit each other. I was just trying to be part of the group, trying to fit in." she smiled as she sat down. Perfect answer, she didn't want those to be mean to these young teens. She knew they had plenty on their shoulders as it was. Then there was the fact that Feriria had to watch what he said to her since her husband was here.
Miles grinned as she dragged over a couple more chairs. She sat down next to Quou. "I believe you got it right, Quou, you are going to fit in great with us." She grinned at Feriria who was clearly very salty.
Sitting down Link looked to Zigor who looked a bit agitated. He remembered Zigor mentioning that his people were betrayed. It seemed they were all slaves possible by how angry Zigor got from being called that. He looked up as Jacob walked up to them.
Zigor studied the older man. "I'm Jacob." He held his hand out to Zigor. "Zigor" He shook his hand. "I will be leading this little rescue mission. I want to know if you believe you are in shape to help or not." He questioned the teen.
Zigor nodded. "I am fine. I just want to know when we are going." Jacob nodded. "In time, we need to make sure everyone knows their part. Also you and Link will be having Quou dress you up. You are too recognizable right now. I'm sure that they will be doing a check to make sure that we are who we say we are."
Jacob walked over to the wall and hit the screen till it turned on. He glanced who walked into the hanger and smirked. Looking to the group he let out a small sigh where to begin. Basics was the choice "Everyone know each other?" he questioned them. He wasn't sure who all the two teens had met.
"Depends what you mean." Feriria spoke up as he put his feet up on the table. "We 'meet' the slave boy but don't really know him. Didn't really have introductions." He chuckled a little as he put his arms behind his head relaxing.
"Cut the shit Ferira." Jaraj snapped at him. "His name is Zigor." Feriria smirked. "Oh protecting his feelings? He is a slave species, he doesn't have a name. He belongs to the government probably a run away."
Zigor snarled at him. He really hated this man, it was clear he wasn't going to drop it. He went to get to his feet , but was shocked as some woman kicked the back legs of the chair so Ferira hit the ground. "Move your ass, my seat. Or you are going to talk back to this slave?" Kris sniped at him.
Ferira crawled away from her. He didn't know that she was going to be coming on this mission. He got to his feet and looked at Anu who walked up to him growling. "Get your damn dog away from me." he snapped.
"Anu was just telling you to be good little boy." she smirked as she put her feet up on the table. "Since we are doing introductions, I'm Kris." She spoke up looking over to Zigor and Link. "Don't worry about Feriria he won't pick on you anymore." she grinned at Feriria as he pulled up a stool next to Ryuk who clearly was snickering and getting a kick out of all of it.
Jaraj sighed. "I'm Jaraj, that's Ryuk and Feriria." He pointed at them. "What, you don't even let us introduce ourselves?" Ryuk spoke up. "If you could do it without a smug comment, maybe." He shook his head at them; they didn't need all this extra distraction.
Jacob watched them all. He then looked to the hanger door as Heric came in with Navi, a younger man with teal hair and a young redheaded female. It seemed their full group would be here, for the most part. He looked the young man over as he advanced with the group, he didn't like the idea of taking a new recruit on such a dangerous mission but he was the only one who was willing to go.
Navi appeared in front of Link smiling. She was a little worn out from teleporting practice. "It's good to see you made it back safe." She looked over to Zigor. "Also good to see you awake." Zigor nodded and stood up. "Thanks for getting me and her out safe, Navi." Nodding to Gotenoo who was walking up to them. He walked over to greet Gotenoo who hugged him tight. He patted her on the back. "We will get your dad and sister back and all the others. We need to keep our heads up." He spoke quietly to her.
Looking to Heric as he walked up. "I thought it would be best if you were in here, so you know what we are doing. Cause worse case you will be the one left running everything." Heric shook his head at Jacob. "Better all of you come back, though you can leave Ferira and Ryuk there."
Jacob chuckled a little as he watched Gotenoo and Zigor sit down. He worried about them, their spirits looked low and they had been there once before. He already decided to split them up to make sure they were with someone as support.
"Listen up, you for some reason are extremely brave or else stupid enough to go on this mission." Jacob spoke up. "I vote stupid." Kris laughed. "I second it." Miles chuckled. Jacob shook his head at them. "So Miles was so kind to contact her brother who is currently working in upper ranks for the government. He was able to get us information that will aid us. Even with that information it is up to us not to fuck it up."
"Everyone will have a partner except for." He pointed at Ferira. "You will be the pilot of this mission. I rather not have you with anyone." Ferira chuckled a little. "Surprise you trust me with that much responsibility."
"I don't, but it's easier to blame one person for being a spy." Jacob smirked. "I will be with Quou." He looked to the new recruit. "This is Alex he will be going with Ryuk." he nodded to Ryuk who laughed. "I get the newbie?! Oh this couldn't get better." "Be nice and don't scare him." Miles contested. "We need everyone to make 11."
"Miles, you will be with Link and Navi." Jacob continued. He looked to Kris. "You will be with this young miss, I don't have your name." he looked to Gotenoo as he pointed at her. She looked at him. "Gotenoo." she spoke out, she still was a little groggy from the medicine that she was on. Her body didn't do to well on medicines.
"You will be going with Kris." He looked to Zigor. "You will be going with Jaraj here." He sat down in his seat. "You might be partnered up, but you won't always be with this person. Though you need to make sure you tell them where you will be stationed at. This will keep our knowledge of everyone's location."
Jacob looked down at his tablet studying what to say next. "We are the 2nd shift on the station, though we are lucky that they only do 2 shifts. On our floor there will be about 12 other guards who will be sleeping during our shift. Once our shift starts we will wait about 3 hours into our shift before acting. "Any concerns?" he asked looking at them.
Link stared at him. Not only 12 hours before all of this but they were going to be there 3 more hours before acting? He looked down trying to keep his emotions at bay. He looked up to Zigor who had his eyes closed.
"I need to know from you four." Jacob looked to Link and the others. "If you can control yourselves. Being on post for three hours, means we will see whatever they have been doing to your friends. What more you may have to assist in whatever they need you to do." He spoke rather serious. He would not let these kids ruin this mission. There was a lot at stake here.
Watching them, it was clear they were all trying to sort through how they felt about it. "We will be fine." Zigor spoke up, he crossed his arms. "We will do what is needed to save them." He was trying his best to be more of a leader for what was left of their small group.
"Good" Jacob spoke up as he got to his feet. He looked back at the screen. He tapped the screen. "When we get there, you all will be heading to the living quarters." He pointed on the map. "I will be meeting with the commander of the 1st shift guard post. He will give me a rundown of what is going on. That will be about an hour, when I return we will be taking our shift."
Moving his finger he tapped on the screen and a bunch of different color lines showed up on the map. "These are the routes. Each of you will get a color and a post." He looked back at them. "You will have the time to memorize them." He looked to Jaraj who shoved out a couple small data tablets for everyone.
Kris grabbed one looking at it. "So who exactly are we getting out of here? Having the nightshift I get left out of all the fun of morning stuff." She looked over to Zigor and the others.
Before they could speak Jacob interrupted. "I believe one of you should explain each of your friends to us. Their skills may be needed to aid once we begin the extraction." He spoke up.
Zigor sighed as he pulled out his phone out of his pocket. He pulled up a picture and slid it to Jacob, assuming he could get the picture up on the screen. Jacob picked it up and tossed it to Jaraj who pushed a few things.
Zigor walked up to the screen. His ears were low, this wasn't his forte for skills. He looked at the photo on the screen, it was a group picture of them. Studying the photo he would also have to give the bad about everyone too. He pointed up to Sakki first. "This is Sakki, he does have issues around males. So, I would recommend that Kris and Gotenoo take the post around him. If that is possible. He is a Raktvira, though he can't hold a transformation long. He is a good fighter though, but he does let his emotions get the better of him." It was odd talking good about the kid.
Pointing to Rin, he looked back at them. "Rin is a demon, who is a bit blind. She is a registered assassin, though." He frowned some. "She acts different around me, she thinks I am her dad. So it would be better if I was away from tends to forget she is a power demon when she is around me."
"Awe don't want to save your little girl?" Ferira spoke up, he grinned as it was easy to get this teen riled up. He glanced at Kris who was glaring at him. "What? I was being concerned for his kid." Ryuk smirked. "It's true I mean after being captured you think he would want to see her." He glanced to Zigor who was a bit red.
Miles chuckled a little, this was the same teen who was causing trouble beforehand, but here he was in front of a group getting embarrassed. She looked to Jacob who tapped his hand on the table. "You can make all the comments you guys want after he is done." he stated to the peanut gallery. The two of them could be heard snickering some.
Looking back to the picture Zigor was trying to keep his composure the best he could trying not to let their comments bother him. Pointing to Deka, he paused trying to think of what to say. "Deka, she uses close hand combat to fight. She isn't as stealthy as she thinks she is. But she can use artillery. Then there is Gajra." he pointed to the older man.
"Um, he uses plants, never really seen him fight, or do much talking. Sorry, I don't know alot about him." Zigor looked over to Jacob who nodded for him to continue. "Eznik, he is a good doctor, though I don't know how much they would have pushed him there. He isn't in the best of health. Last is Brat." He paused, in truth he didn't know what all that other side of her could do. "She…"
"She's my sister." Gotenoo spoke up. "She has a beast in her… that they will use against us, daddy said. We don't know much about it." She looked down.
Zigor nodded a little. "That's as much as we can tell you about that. So, extreme caution should be used around her."
"Oh and there Echa!" Gotenoo spoke up. "He is Deka's rat-baby and he had a device on him that Brat made and he helped fix." she pointed over to Jaraj.
Jaraj nodded a little. "Are you two able to contact that rat-baby?" He asked. Gotenoo spoke up. "If we get the same frequency that we were using, he can hear us. He has little speakers in his ears." she explained.
Miles pointed to the picture. "What about her?" She pointed to Atia. "She was in your group when you left. She wasn't teleported by Navi." She spoke up making sure that none of this crew was being left behind.
"She's here. Don't worry about her." Kris tutored. "I need to talk to you Jacob privately after this about her. I assume one of you as well." she looked to Zigor and then to Gotenoo. Zigor assumed the woman knew what she was and nodded a little as he walked over to where Gotenoo was.
"There are two other people there as well." Jaraj spoke up as he tossed Zigor's phone across the table back to him. He then pushed a button on a tablet and a picture of the old squad showed up. "Ew, who are those ugly sons of bitches?" Ferira laughed. Miles grinned seeing that old photo. "Don't know thank Rem only one of those people we have to save."
Ryuk whistled, "At least it's the sexy one. I'd be wasting my time otherwise." he laughed. Jaraj chuckled some, he had a feeling they would get a kick out of the old photo he found. He looked to Jacob who was shaking his head.
"I will assume Autum is the least ugly fuck out of the group?" Jacob spoke as he got to his feet. He pointed at Autum. "She was part of the Elites I read, Black Ash. She also came some years back for Jaraj and had a nice visit. She will be a good asset, but you make sure she understands that she will follow our instruction." He looked to Miles. "I believe you were closest with her, so I will leave that to you. Since you said she is quite stubborn."
Zigor leaned back, it was odd seeing a photo of Autum that young. It was nice to see a bit of humor that wasn't at his expense. He looked over to Gotenoo who was leaned up against Quou asleep. It was clear that the medicine still was affecting her. He would have to see what he could do to help her.
"Who is the last one?" Kris spoke up. She was looking at the tablet that she was given. "That would be her husband." Jaraj spoke up. "Only one here who has met the bastard is Link." he looked over to Link who was looking at the tablet.
Link looked up to them. "Er…" He really didn't want to talk about Celtic again. It seemed he was put on the spot. Letting out a small sigh he looked up to the picture of Autum. "Celtic was an Elite like Autum. He is a decent fighter and can't die." He kept it short and made sure he left out the idiot part.
Looking to Navi who was curled up on Gotenoo's lap. It seemed she had worn herself out. His guess the teleporting practice must of went well. He glanced up to Jacob who tapped the table.
"Speaking of elites, we got lucky. They were all dismissed off the station." Jacob spoke up. "I am assuming that this was a big issue when your group infiltrated?" He looked to Zigor. It was clear he was the one who was in charge of them now.
Zigor nodded. "Yeah, they predicted everything that Autum had planned. She knew their moves and defenses and even played it out the way she said they would." He looked down. Jacob leaned back, "This time we don't have to worry about them. It seems the Upper who owns the station had them dismissed. This will make things a bit easier. The big thing is making sure everything goes to plan."
Getting to his feet he looked to Miles. "Go over key words we use here with them." He looked at his wife. "Including Quou, she needs to be caught up as well. It's going to take us 5 hours to get to the meeting point. We want to make sure we get there first. So pack your shit and meet up at my shuttle in a half hour."
"Jaraj, if you would get Heric settled in and give him a quick rundown of everything." Jacob suggested. He looked to the new recruit who was far out of the loop of everything. "Ryuk, Feriria please be nice to Alex here and I do mean that. Show him where he can put his things, he did just get here."
The others got up heading out, leaving the small group. Jacob walked up to his wife who was brushing Gotenoo's bangs out of her face. She looked up to Jacob, she felt bad for these kids.
"Jacob." Kris spoke up. He looked back at Kris."About the astral being that is on this ship." Kris spoke concerned. "I fear for the safety of everyone here."
Zigor looked at her. "Atia isn't like other astral beings." he interrupted defending his friend. "How do you know?" Kris interrogated. "It's clear by her mental state she is unstable, meaning she could strike out. Who knows what else".
Zigor shook his head. "She just needs time and people to stay away from her. She had to plane shift because she was being attacked. Instead of shifting here she went somewhere else to get in a better state of mind before coming here. It's because she cares about mortals."
Jacob let out a sigh from their bickering. "It is clear both sides have valid points about this subject. If we don't return, how is she going to be mentally?" He questioned Zigor. "I can't put the people here endanger if that is a possibility."
Zigor looked away not sure how to reply to that. "She needs to leave." Kris claimed. "No, I will talk with her. Find out what exactly is what." Jacob declared. "So go get your affairs settled with Anu, who's going to watch over him while you're gone because he can't come. I will get to a solution for this issue, so run off." Kris looked to Zigor and shook her head walking out.
"Miles if you would pack Quou's make-up closet for her." Jacob looked to Miles. Miles nodded as she picked up the group's tablets. "I'll pack these too." she stated as she headed out. She could tell he wanted the group alone to talk.
Jacob let out a small sigh, things were slowly stacking up on top of this mission. He looked to Gotenoo who had fallen asleep during everything. "Will she be able to fight?" he spoke quietly to Zigor.
"I need to see what medicines were used on her. If we can get them cleared out of her system she should be fine. Hey, thanks for everything." Zigor said as he got to his feet Jacob put his hand on his shoulder. "It's nothing. Hey, you think you can teleport our little group to your ship?"
Zigor looked back at them. "I can't teleport chairs…" Link glanced at him and picked up Navi gently off of Gotenoo. Jacob walked up and picked up Gotenoo off of his wife's lap. "Hand on my shoulder." He looked to Quou who nodded. Once the group was all touching Zigor teleported them all to the medical bay.
Jacob walked over setting the redhead onto one of the beds. He then walked over to a tablet and grabbed it. He held it to Zigor. "I want to make sure you and her are mentally able to do this mission." Looking at the teen. "If either of you try to help any of your friends our mission will fail."
Zigor took the tablet looking at Jacob. "We have to be, you barely got one extra person to help. If you can keep her routes away from Eznik and Brat, she will be ok." He looked to Gotenoo. "She would be the one more likely to try to help." Jacob nodded a little, he looked back to his wife who was sitting on the bed watching him.
"Where is your friend at?" Jacob then asked Zigor. "If you walk out to your left look for Eznik's room. He has his name on the door. "Her name is Atia, Kris is right about her not being in the best mental state. So please be careful."
Jacob smiled. "Find out how you can help your little redheaded friend. I can watch over myself." He walked out of the room to go talk to Atia.
Link let out a sigh. He had set Navi down. "Anything I can do to help Zigor?" he asked "If you know anything about medicine that would be great." Zigor sighed as he set the tablet down trying to figure out what he needed to do. He knew a couple basics to treating wounds, but this was something Eznik took care of.
"Maybe we can get a doctor here? I mean there was a woman with green hair. She helped you guys when you teleported here." Link suggested. "I will go fetch someone who can help." Quou spoke up. "Just make sure you will be able to explain the problem when I get back." She got off the bed and headed out of the ship.
Zigor closed his eyes as he leaned up against the counter. It all was wearing and tearing at him. He feared the worse for Eznik, even as much as he joked about him being an old man it was true. He didn't want to lose Eznik, he had been more of a father to him over the years.
"Zigor?" Link spoke watching his friend's expression change to sadness. He didn't know what to do. He put his hand on Zigor's back as he started to cry. Link glanced away wishing he could help.
Jacob knocked lightly on the door and opened it. He looked to the woman who was sitting against the wall holding a coat. "Hello, Atia. I am the commander here, Jacob." He introduced himself as he walked in. Walking over to the chair in the room he sat down looking at her.
Not saying anything she watched him. It was clear she had been crying. It all was odd for an astral being. Emotions with one could be dangerous, it means she was in the madness. "I need to know if you will put my soldiers on this planet endanger."
Atia closed her eyes. "I-I will leave before I hit that point." she promised quietly. "Even if none of us return on this mission to help your friends?" He spoke up watching her.
Letting out a small whimper she hugged the coat. "Please, save them." she looked at him. "You're an old soul. You know how it is to watch loved ones die from old age. I don't want to see them die before their time."
Jacob got up off the chair and walked up to the bed. Cautiously he sat down next to her. "I will do everything in my power to. But if the worst comes, I need you to leave. I can't have you killing my friends here."
Atia nodded. "I-i will." she looked at him. "I won't hurt them." She looked to the door. "I couldn't hurt anyone even if I tried. It's because of me, they were captured. I couldn't fight.I could only put up a defense and it wasn't strong enough against a goddess." she blathered as she looked to Jacob's hand as he put it on her hand.
"Even if you fought, they would've used any of those children against you. The last thing we need is the Government to have an astral being as a test subject." he rubbed her hand. "Don't take the blame. Calm your mind and sleep." He got up off the bed. "We will be leaving soon. It's going to be around a 12 hour mission. Don't drown yourself in worry while waiting. Try to meditate or sleep while we are heading there." He suggested. Walking up to the door he looked back at her.
"When they come back, I am sure they will need you to be yourself. After what they are going through seeing someone who cares will mean the world to them." he smiled as headed out. He closed the door and looked down the hall.
Walking down the hall he paused outside of the medical wing. He could hear Zigor crying. He leaned up against the wall. It was better that he got it out now rather than when they were in the shuttle. Closing his eyes, still trying to prepare himself. He was more worried for the fact his wife was going.
A few minutes passed and a voice spoke up. "Everything ok?" Quou spoke quietly as she walked up to her husband. Jacob opened his eyes and nodded a little. "I was giving them some time." He smiled to her. He looked to the man she brought with her. "Daniel, it's good to see you."
Daniel chuckled. "Didn't know you made it back. Quou said you are getting ready to leave again." Jacob nodded and walked into the medical wing. "You know me, I can't stay in one place too long."
Zigor had rubbed his eyes clear and looked at the group as they walked in. He glanced to Link then walked up to Daniel holding out the tablet to him. Taking the tablet he looked at the file. Looking through it he looked at the purple hair teen. "I don't see anything wrong with this. It's what I would've given."
"She is more susceptible to medicines. She is very vulnerable to their effects. So .. I guess the doses might be too high for her. She is having issues staying awake." Zigor explained the best he could to the doctor.
Daniel nodded a little as he walked over to the medical shelves. "I do have to say this place is loaded." he chuckled as he shifted through the vials. He pulled out a couple looking at them and then putting them back. He grabbed one studying it. He then walked up to Zigor and held it to him. "Give her 10ml, now. If she still has issues, give her another 10. Don't go over 50ml." He explained to Zigor who nodded. Watching Zigor go over to a couple of drawers till he pulled out a medical gun and hooked it to it. He then messed with the dials some.
Daniel glanced at Navi who was on a pillow and he chuckled. He walked up to Jacob. "Do you need anything else?" Jacob nodded walking out of the room. "If you would."
Quou watched the two walk out of the room. She walked up to Zigor who administered the shot to Gotenoo. He looked away from Quou, he knew his eyes were still a little red from crying. Last thing he needed was being made fun of. At least Link didn't say anything.
Quou walked up and she took the medical gun from him. "Go get yourself cleaned up. Grab some food for your group. The food you got in here is probably better than what we have. I will stay here with them." She smiled at him.
Zigor nodded as he vanished. "Poor kid." Quou spoke up. She looked over at Link as she set the medical gun down on the counter. "You holding up ok?" She asked him.
Link nodded a little looking out of the room. "You think we can pull this off?" Quou nodded some. "If anyone can pull it off Jacob can. He used to be part of the government. So he has a bit of insight like the others, hopefully, that will give us the advantage we need."
Walking up the bed that he put Navi on he climbed up and sat down. Looking to Gotenoo, he still felt a bit useless in all of this. "I want you to try to rest when we get going." Quou instructed. "You and your friends honestly look like shit." She walked up to him. "Once we trade ships, there will be no space for you to rest, so it's better for you to try to get some rest before hand."
"Quou is right." Jacob spoke as he walked into the room. "Once we head out it's best if you need any shut eye to grab it then." He walked over to the shelves looking through everything. He grabbed a vial pocketing it. "Once Zigor gets back, head to the shuttle." He looked to Quou. "I'll make sure Miles packed your stuff."
Quou nodded watching him walk out. She chuckled, it was a long talk to convince him to allow her to go. It seemed she was going to get to prove herself for combat now as well. She looked over to Link who was looking at Navi.
Sitting on a chair she watched him. Time was counting down before they all were heading out. She knew at that point she couldn't turn back. Smiling some at least she was going to get to help these kids out.
