Brendon looked to the door as the group of guards walked in. He was sitting at his desk. Getting to his feet he grabbed a medical gun. He pointed to Gajra who was sitting up in his bed. He was still covered in bandages, one over his right eye. "Two of you take him to room 023g."
Ryuk nodded walking over to him. Gajra didn't even look at him as Ryuk unlocked the shackle. Gajra had his eyes locked on Eznik who was hooked up to a few machines. Feiria grabbed Gajra's arm. "Up." Gajra slowly climbed off the bed. He looked to Feiria who shackled his hands.
Link looked to the two as they walked Gajra out of the room. His eyes slowly trailed to Eznik who was still hooked up to some machines. His heart sank, he didn't know what had happened. What was worse he couldn't even ask if he was going to be ok.
"So you are the lucky two who get the wild bitch? She goes to lab 046." Brendon stated as he walked up to Autum's bed. She still was asleep. "I assume you know she and the demon injured the last group of guards who took her." he warned the two of them. "Though she will be pretty groggy, so she shouldn't be too much of a hassle, in theory." He pointed to the shackles that were on the ground. "Those are hers and her hands go behind her back." he instructed the two of them.
Miles walked up grabbing the shackles. "Wake her up." she said to the doctor as she looked to the leather straps that had Autum bound to the bed. Brendon nodded, shooting Autum in the side with a medical gun.
Autum let out a groan she went to move her arms but they both were strapped down on the bed. She looked at Brendon and then to Miles. Laying back on the pillow she closed her eyes. Part of her wished that she could just go back to sleep. "Has his condition changed?" she asked quietly hoping that the doctor might tell her, before she was taken to only the fates knew where.
Brendon looked over to Eznik deciding if he wanted to answer her but decided to in hopes to keep her compliant. "Stable still." He put his hand on her neck to check her pulse. Looking down to his watch, he paused and then moved his hand away. "Since I was nice enough to tell you, why don't you not give these guards any hassle here in MY med bay." He suggested to Autum. Autum looked at him and let out a sigh. "Fine…"
Miles smirked as she started to undo one side of the straps. "Undo the other. Keep your guard up, you never know." she said glancing at Link. Link nodded walking over to the other side once Brendon moved. He started to mess with the strap. Looking at her leg that was in a couple of devices. He wanted to ask her how her leg was.
"Sit up." Miles spoke up once the straps were off. Autum slowly sat up and held her head. She looked to the shackles that Miles set on the bed next to her. She closed her eyes. She was pretty out of it and she told the doctor who was helping her brother that she wouldn't cause any issues. She didn't want to upset him so he would take care of her brother so she decided her best move right now was to do nothing.
"Do you have a wheelchair?" Link asked looking back at Brendon. "I mean…" Miles smiled lightly to Link. "Doubt you want us dragging her about and fucking up this leg anymore. Plus doubt she is able to walk too good being drugged up. It will help us out." Miles piped in. Link looked back at Miles grateful that she played along.
Brendon nodded, it seemed the guards might be better trained to handle specimens. He walked over to a chair folding it out. He pushed it to Link. Link grabbed the handles and moved it next to the bed. He was not sure how to go about this.
Miles grabbed the strap off of the medical bed. "We are borrowing this." She walked up to Link and held it to him. Once he took it she held her arm to Autum. "Grab it! Come on." Autum looked to Miles and then to Link. Clearly newer recruits that hadn't been beat down yet. Yet there was something about the guy that seemed off or else familiar, though it could be the meds, she thought. It was an odd unexplainable feeling.
Grabbing Miles' arm. Miles hosted her arm over her back and then slowly pulled her off the bed onto the chair. Autum gritted her teeth and looked at Miles. Miles bent down and messed with the footrest and extended one upward. She moved Autum's bad leg on it and strapped it on. Looking at her other leg she strapped it in, the last thing she needed was to get kicked. Next grabbing Autum's right arm she moved it onto the wheelchair arm. "Strap her arm here." Miles instructed Link and then walked over to the shackles on the other side of the bed.
Link watched Miles and then started to strap Autum's arm down. He remembered what Jacob said, they can not know that it was them. No hinting, nothing. As it could throw the whole plan off even causing it to fail. He wanted to tell her so badly so as to give her some hope. At least he could do it to make sure she wasn't going to get hurt. He looked up to Miles.
Miles was staring at him. "She is not a princess, you make sure that is tight." she snapped at him. "Last thing you want is her to get her good arm on you." She informed him. Link nodded and messed with the strap again.
Autum looked at his hands. He was failing horribly. She grabbed the end of the strap from him and pulled it tight. She held it to him, she'd rather get to wherever they were taking her to get it over with. "Like that." she snipped. Gazing at her he took it and finished buckling it up. He didn't want it to be that tight.
"Trainee?" Brendon spoke up as he sat at his desk. Miles laughed. "Not really hard to guess, right?" She looked at the doctor. "Thought it would be better if he learned the hard way. Kind wished she slugged him one, might of learned something. Like not to make that mistake again." she chuckled. She looked at Link giving him a look of disapproval. He knew he wasn't doing too good at this.
Miles walked up to Link and shoved the shackles into his hands. "Pay attention and learn." She walked up behind Autum and started to push her out of the room. Once they got out of the room Link looked at Miles. "Sorry. I-I" Miles interrupted him. "You don't say sorry, you just learn. This woman can and will kill you, got it?"
Autum relaxed into the chair as she held her head with her left hand. She was a bit grateful that they didn't strap it down. She felt like shit, her guess possibly a bit of a hangover from the drink. She let out a small sigh as Link opened the lab door and she was pushed in.
"Ah, You must be the new guard." Erika spoke up as she pointed to a chair in the room. "Leave her next to that. Should have another guest in a moment. You both can sit." She grabbed a black case sitting it on a hover table opening it.
Link looked over at the case. It was a couple knives and different odd tools like things. He didn't have a clue what they all could be for and he didn't want to know. He glanced at Miles who sat down on the table surveying the case that was set down.
Walking up next to Miles he leaned up against the table setting down the shackles. "You will be leaving and going on patrol." Miles spoke quietly to Link. Link looked at her and was going to say something but heard someone else come into the room. His attention went to the door and his ears went low. Celtic walked in followed by Zigor and Kris. Miles watched them walk in, so this was Autum's husband, she thought as she looked him over.
"Ah, well if it isn't my favorite lab rat." Erika smirked. "Also your favorite chair." She said as she pointed at the chair next to Autum. "Why don't you have a seat." She looked to Zigor and Kris. "Strap him in tight." she instructed them. "After that only need two guards in here..and they're for her." she pointed at Autum.
Zigor glanced at Miles and Link, he wasn't expecting to end up at the same place as them. He walked up to Celtic who sat down in the chair finding it hard to believe this was Autum's husband and they were bringing them together. He glanced at Autum and then looked to Celtic again not wanting to be caught watching her. He pulled the strap tight on Celtic and Kris followed suit. Kris looked to Zigor and nodded for him to follow her. She walked up to Miles, she could tell the expression on Miles face, what was gonna happen here wasn't good.
"Xeno, Leo... Take patrol B." Miles instructed them. Link looked at Miles. "I thought I was going to stay with you." Miles looked at him sternly. "You will go now, both of you. I'll radio in that you both are together." She pointed to the door. "Move it, I doubt she wants her experiment to be interrupted by you two. Especially a trainee, who can barely do what is told." She snapped at them.
Zigor looked at Miles and then to Link. He nodded. "Come on." He persuaded himself as he started to head to the door. Link looked back at Autum as he followed after Zigor. Zigor shut the door once Link walked out.
Navi had her hands over her mouth doing everything she could not to yell at Miles. Navi hit the side of the pouch and covered her face. Maybe, this wasn't a good idea to come along? She looked to the speaker in the small pouch as Miles could be heard.
"Me and Krina are now watching Autum. The two boy scouts are now doing a patrol of B." Miles reported. "The doctor is in the med lab 023, doesn't look like he will be moved. Autum and Celtic are both in lab 046."
Navi shook her head and looked to the Mic. She held down the button on it. "Why?! I thought Link was to stay with Autum!" "You will stay quiet and do what is told." Jacob responded to her. "Especially you, you need to keep yourself quiet. I read you Renia and have taken note."
Navi let out a cry as she sat back down. She held her ears and winced as she felt Link walking. Her ears perked up as she heard Link ask Zigor something.
"Any clue why?" Link asked him. Zigor looked at Link. "I would assume it's something she believed you shouldn't see." he divulged as he looked away. "Let's not think about it and just keep moving. Let's do the patrol like we're supposed to.." he suggested.
Link looked back at the door and nodded a little. He prayed that they both would be ok in there. He followed after Zigor's lead to go on patrol.
Kris leaned against the table. "Why the change?" Kris asked quietly. Miles nodded to the black case that Erika moved up next to Autum. Kris climbed up on the table next to her. She looked at the box and then to the door. "Yeah, better that neither of them were in here for this."
Autum looked to the box, it was a torture kit full of different tools. She wasn't in reach of it, or she would grab one out and use it on this woman. Her attention went to Erika who walked up to her.
Erika grinned as she tapped a medical gun on her hand. "So, I guess you are a lucky one. We can't really do too much to you since you will be having surgery. But." She looked at Celtic. "I can do what I want to him. I have this nice little kit here, too, that I'm going to use. Well, unless Celtic wants to cooperate".
Celtic glared at her not really wanting to have Autum watch him get cut up. Though she might still think he deserves it. "So Celtic I have one question for you. What caused Autum's injuries when she was pregnant?" Erika questioned him. Celtic closed his eyes. "You can fuck off Erika! Not going to tell you anything."
Erika laughed at the answer. "See there's the issue. I have no clue on how to use a torture set. Guards are not allowed to. Though." looking to Autum smirking "Heard you have extensive training in information extraction."
Celtic gritted his teeth he knew where this was going. He looked over at Autum. Autum was staring at the woman debating what to do. She could get this leather strap off, but her legs would take longer. She would no doubt get overpowered by a guard before she could. "I would be glad to use my skills on you." Autum snapped at her.
Erika smirked at her and took note at that moment that one of Autum's arms were free. She wasn't going to risk getting too close to the woman. "Guards come and restrain her! Why was she left unrestrained to begin with. You idiots!" She looked to Miles and Kris.
Kris went to move but Miles held her arm out. "I got it. I had a trainee with me, he apparently didn't restrain her tight enough. She's a slick one." Miles hopped off the table walking up to Autum. Autum looked to Miles trying to figure out how she could get at this guard.
Miles paused in front of Autum's studying her. She knew that look. It was Autum planning. She smirked. She would play how Autum would've, dirty. Miles walked up and pushed her hand hard on Autum's leg. She had to look her part.
Autum gritted her teeth from the pain. "Stop it!" Celtic yelled at her as he pulled at his straps. Miles moved and grabbed Autum's left hand and pulled it back behind the chair. Autum closed her eyes. She was cursing under her breath from the pain.
Erika looked at Celtic and then walked up to Autum shooting her in the temple with the medical gun. "You can let go of her." She directed Miles who did as was told.
Autum screamed out as she moved her free hand to her head. She knew this pain. This damned woman was going to make her torture Celtic. "J-just t-tell the bitch." Autum managed to get out.
Celtic bit his lip as Autum went silent. Should he tell her? Maybe lie? His heart was racing, he feared if the DP found out what did it, they might try to find a way to use both of them to lure it back out. He closed his eyes not knowing the correct answer.
Miles stepped back looking at Autum. "Unstrap her arm and legs." Erika demanded. Miles looked at her confused but did as was told. Erika watched Miles unstrap her arms and then unstrap her legs. "Autum, if you would get up from the chair. You will use your skills with those tools on him till I tell you to stop."
Miles moved away. She looked at Autum who got up from the chair. Miles looked on shocked, this is what the government was working on? She would report this later to Jacob. Things were worse than they imagined. Miles started to walk back to Kris as she heard Autum pick up one of the tools.
Celtic looked at Autum who walked up to him. "Please, Autum fight it." He begged her. Autum brought a blade down to his arm running it down it, but not cutting him. When his attention went to the blade she bought another blade to his shoulder with her other arm.
Celtic gritted his teeth. He looked at Erika who had a grin on her face. He didn't want to give her the satisfaction of watching. "The birds of judgement did it." He snapped. "Are you happy?! Now stop her!" he yelled at Erika.
"Sounds like a fab… " She looked at Autum. "You need to make sure he isn't lying." She smirked. "So do what you need to, to make sure he isn't lying." Celtic looked back at Autum. "I'm sure Eznik told you already. You know I'm not lying it was the birds of judgement." he pleaded with her.
Autum looked back at Erika. "He isn't lying about it." Erika chuckled. "Still make him suffer. I want to hear him scream. It always put me in such a good mood." She grinned.
Cow was leaned up against the wall with his arms crossed. The worst job possible, babysitting That's was what he was stuck with. His attention went to the couple walking down the hall to him. He stood to attention knowing that he had to put on a good show.
Oskal looked at Cow studying him. "She still in there?" Cow nodded some. "Good, if she comes out I want you to report it. Also follow her around if she leaves. I'm sure she will complain but remind her it's for her safety. So continue what you were doing."
Oskal chuckled as he walked down the hall. Bella was walking with him. Cow watched the two of them. The man held himself high and clearly had power. Cow assumed the man either owned or at least was pretty high up in power on this station. He would make sure that man would suffer if he did anything to Brat.
Oskal walked into the medlab and looked at Brendon. "Wake him." He looked at Reki as Brendon grabbed a medical gun. He opened up a drawer grabbing a vial. He got to his feet loading up the gun. He held it to Bella who nodded, taking it.
Bella walked up shooting Reki in the side. They were watching at him as he stirred. Reki opened his eyes, everything was a blur. He moved his hand to his head. He didn't even want to know why someone woke him.
"Good morning." Reki groaned at the sound of the voice. The last person he really wanted to see. He gritted his teeth as he was shot in the temple. He held his head screaming out.
Oskal watched till there was silence. "Reki, tell me where you put the finished files." He was sick of waiting as the guards had found nothing. He wanted this project finished. The good thing with Bella's work she made it a lot stronger.
"I gave it to Celtic." Reki spoke as he closed his eyes. He couldn't believe the words that just came out of his mouth. He gave it all up, they clearly had made it potent. The dose he gave them wouldn't do speech, he miscalculated and it would cost dearly.
"Should I put him back to sleep?" Brendon questioned. "Though I do warn constantly waking and putting him back to sleep is not good for his health." He explained to Oskal. He'd rather not but if he was told to he would.
Oskal glanced back to the door hearing footsteps. He walked to the hall. "In here both of you." He snapped as he looked at Link and Zigor. He walked back into the room. It was quicker than radioing for a guard. "Both you will take him to lab…" he paused thinking for a moment he didn't want his sister to find him, also needed to come up with why he was transferred. He glanced at Eznik and smirked, the doctor's cell since he wasn't going to be using it. "Reki go to experiment room 21 cell 'E'. You two, follow him till he collapses and drag him the rest of the way. He currently has a drug in him so once it runs its course he will lose some of his motor skills." He looked at Link and Zigor.
Reki got up slowly and headed out of the room. Zigor glanced at Link and followed after Reki. Link frowned as he followed. He didn't know what to make of this one. Zigor shrugged at least this was easy he thought.
The two followed until Reki collapsed. He held his chest panting. Reki looked back at the guards. He had to get to Celtic. He gritted his teeth as he tried to force himself to his feet, but no luck. His legs didn't want to move. When Zigor grabbed his arm he pulled away from him he reached out to grab Zigor's gun, but Link grabbed his wrist.
Reki looked at Link and swung at him. Zigor easily caught the weak punch. He felt bad this guy was clearly giving it his all. Though, that meant the drug that was being used forced them to obey commands. He shuddered at the thought of it.
"Keep hold of his arm." Zigor spoke he used his free hand and grabbed a pair of handcuffs off of his belt. He snapped them onto the hand he had. He then pulled Reki's arm behind him.
Reki shook his head. "Let go!" He snapped trying to get free of the two. Link looked at Zigor and forced Reki's arm behind him so Zigor could cuff the other arm. Link moved away once Zigor cuffed him. "Help me pull him up." He looked to Link grabbing one of his arms.
The two of them worked together to drag Reki the rest of the way. After putting him in the small cell Zigor locked the room. He let out a sigh and looked at Link who was looking around the room.
There was a table in the room that had straps on it that was covered in dried blood. No one was in the room, so it was finally a chance to really look at one of the rooms where their friends had been held.
Zigor looked away from the table. He slowly walked up to one of the other cells and he looked in. He wished he didn't. Rin was curled up in the corner of the cell. Her wings were missing and she looked to be a mess. She had bandages on her and she looked like she had fallen
asleep crying.
Zigor walked away, his ears low. Link looked at him and then to the cell. He decided not to look in the viewing window, he didn't know if he could take whatever Zigor saw. "We should get moving." Link spoke up hoping to get Zigor's mind off of what he saw.
Looking at Link he nodded walking out of the room. Link followed after him, who knows what else they were going to end up doing or seeing during this time.
