"You shouldn't have been able to get here so fast..." Chisaki notes, clutching Avari.
"I took a shortcut, and I'm here to take those girls into custody," Mirio declared.
"So you understand the situation... you're acting like a bona fide hero, Mr. Student: Chisaki responded, his face indifferent, but agitated at the same time. "You turned a blind eye, that time. These children don't want your help. As far as these girls are concerned, you are no hero."
"That's why I'm here!"
"There really is no getting through to you, is there? Die." Mirio suddenly toppled over, slamming into the wall. Another person shot at him, but he activated his quirk and the bullet went right through him.
"What kind of quirk is that?"
"While my permeation is in affect, everything will slip right through me," Mirio answered.
Mirio quickly disposed of the two underlings, taking a kick at Chrono and a swing at Chisaki. They released their hold on the children and Mirio caught them, successfully.
"Go... a-away... or he kill you!" Avari informed in her broken japanese.
"I'll never let either of you feel sad again, I swear! I'll be your hero!" This angered Chisaki.
"Filthy... Eri, get Avari and come on. Do you want him to be killed? How many times do I have to say it? You both were born to destroy."
"No, don't listen to a word he says!"
"I'm always telling you, aren't I? It's because of your selfishness, Eri, that i have to get my hands dirty... you're contaminating your sister."
"Each of your actions kills people. You existence is cursed, Eri."
"How could you say that to your own child?!" Mirio yelled, angered.
"Oh, so that's what you are going on about...I have no child." Chisaki proceeded to reshape the entire area, making spikes attack the trio.
"Do you have no regard for your girls?!" Mirio yelled, lifting the two of them up to protect them.
"Well, even if I broke them, it would be no consequence. As long as I repair them immediately, they'll be fine. They both experienced it enough to know. In fact, I had to do so just today because Avari wouldn't listen to me..." Chisaki explained.
"What would you do if they get hurt. As it stands, I'm the only one who can repair her... and you can't even use your permeation at the moment.. so what will you do, Mr. Student?"
Chrono prepared to fire at Mirio, but he shielded their bodies with his Cape, leaving Eri and Avari in it.
"A heroes cape... is for bundling up young girls who are in pain!" Mirio announced, going in for an attack on Chisaki. Avari smuggled into Eri, her eyes glued on the battle. Chisaki threw a case at someone, and they loaded the gun.
He originally aimed at Mirio himself, but through a bit of thinking, he turned his focus to Eri and Avari, planning to fire at them. He shot, and Mirio rushed to protect them, so much as taking a bullet for them.
Five minutes later, he was on the verge of unconsciousness.
"You wanted to be a hero, you wanted to save Eri and Avari... it is all because of that sickening plague! I'll cure all the people like you, with Eri and Avari's power!"
"CHISAKI!!"
Chisaki prepared to attack again, furious. "I thought I told you... I ABANDONED THAT NAME!"Just before Chisaki could attack Mirio once again, Midoriya burst through the wall in the nick of time.
"Nighteye, secure the girls!" Aizawa instructed.
"They're... behind... me..." Mirio said, weakly. Nighteye wrapped his arms around Mirio, Eri, and Avari.
"You did splendid, simply amazing, Mirio," he whispered.
Aizawa started by erasing Chisaki's quirk. Chisaki got angry, slapping his hand against the raised ground. "WAKE UP ALREADY, CHRONO!!" He yelled.
There was movement behind the two, and Aizawa pushed Midoriya out of the way, taking a sharp arrow to the arm. "Anyone cut by the minute hand will have their movements slowed. I intended to skewer both of you, but you heroes are just too good. Hats off to you."
Aizawa blinked and Chisaki's quirk was returned to him. He used it almost immediately, reshaping the entire structure of the area they were in into thorns and spikes. Everyone had to dodge, Nighteye keeping the children and Mirio safe. Chisaki placed his hand on Nemoto's face and he fused with Chisaki. "Now, you'll be returning my property to me."
"Oh, what a tragic life for you, Lemillion. If only... if only you hadn't gotten involved with Eri and Avari... with me. Then maybe, you wouldn't have lost your quirk... forever," Chisaki exclaimed. "Not only that, you had to drag this out. Now you've gotten your friends involved, only to see them die."
Chisaki leaped towards Nighteye, Mirio, and the girls. Nighteye placed a protective arm in front of the other three, a feeble attempt at protecting them.
Midoriya took a huge spike off of what used to be the ground. He threw it at Chisaki, only for him to crumble it like it was nothing. He reshaped the spike into a shield to protect himself from Midoriya's kick. Nighteye left from their side, switching places with Midoriya. He bent down in front of Mirio and the children.
"Eri, Avari, Togata, can you move?"
"Y-yeah, no problem.." Mirio picked up Eri with the little strength he had left, and after Midoriya opened the path of escape, he picked up Avari.
"Please... no more..." a weak voice requested. Midoriya looked down at Eri's tear-stained face. "I'm sorry..." Avari didnt add onto her sister's statement, only looking at the ground in pure sadness and fear. Midoriya glanced back at the battle field, seeing Nighteye stabbed in his arm and stomach, bloody, beaten. This left Mirio alone with Eri and Avari.
