Chapter 3 of the Young Justice and Ultraman crossover is here. The last member of the Tri-Squad will debut which will mean they'll all be reunited, will they stay and be part of the League or will they stay out of it?
Happy Harbour:
Connor was sat on the beach as he thinking about Taiga's reaction back at Santa Prisca, he kept replaying what happened in his mind. Behind Connor, a tall figure wearing a suit walked over to him then placed a hand on Connor's shoulder which caused the young man to look up: the man was Clark Kent.
"Are you okay, brother?" Clark asked as he sat next to Connor then the pair looked out at the ocean, "What happened back at Santa Prisca with Taiga?" Connor shrugged his shoulders as he didn't know what to say.
"You should be asking me that question," The brothers turned to the left to see a hologram of Taiga, he was down at the ground. "When I was younger, me and my Father went to this planet in the Nebula Galaxy and found pirates: they were taking young children away to dig for rare ores." Taiga started to explain, Connor and Clark looked up at Taiga who was now staring at the sky.
"What happened, Taiga?" Clark asked as he removed his glasses, Taiga turned around and looked at the two Supers then he looked at the sand.
"One of kids parents ran to take back their daughter but was seriously injured," Taiga told them which made both Connor and Clark feel terrible. "Something made me snap; I jumped in and started fighting until there was only one pirate left. I was filled with so much hatred for them that I was about to hit them, my father jumped in and tackled me to make sure I didn't do something I would regret." Taiga sat down by the sea and looked at the ocean, Connor walked over to his friend and offered his hand.
"Taiga, I forgive you," Connor smiled, Taiga looked up then looked at Connor's hand. "I understand what you felt, I felt the same back at Santa Prisca." Connor admitted as he sat next to Taiga, Clark stood up and nodded at Taiga.
"Thank you, Connor," Taiga nodded then he shook Connor's hand, the two got up and Taiga entered back into the Taiga Key. "Shall we get looking for Fuma?" Taiga asked, Connor and Clark nodded then they walked away to start thinking about how to locate Fuma.
Star City:
Artemis had returned home with Violet, they could see Will Harper sat on the couch as he was playing with Lian. Artemis and Violet walked over to Will and Lian which made the little girl happy, she held her hands up as she wanted a hug from her Aunt Artemis.
"Come here, you!" Artemis smiled, she lifted Lian up and hugged her. "How was things while we were out?" Artemis asked, Will got up with a smile then walked over to the kitchen.
"Great; we've been playing games most of the day, weren't we?" Will looked at his daughter, Lian smiled and nodded then she rested her head on Artemis' shoulder. "Violet, could you take Lian up? I would a private chat with Artemis." Will asked, Violet nodded then Artemis handed Lian over and went upstairs to play.
"What's the matter, Will?" Artemis asked, she sat down on a stool whilst Will stayed standing.
"Artemis, me and Cheshire are over, for good," Will told Artemis which surprised her. "Dick came over earlier today and showed me these." Will opened a cabinet near the kettle and pulled out an envelope. "Open it." Will told Artemis, she opened the envelope and pulled out some photos: it showed Cheshire back working with the Shadows.
"Will, I'm sorry," Artemis placed the photos down then hugged Will, the two hugged for a while then separated. "I'll contact Dick and tell him that I'm taking some personal time off to help you and Lian." Artemis told Will then she was about to take out her phone when they heard an explosion.
"What was that?" Will asked, the pair ran upstairs to see Violet generated a red shield to protect her and Lian then they saw the intruder: it was Lobo.
"Hello folks, I've come for her," Lobo announced as he pointed at Violet, Artemis pulled out two smoke pellets and threw them at Lobo. "Nice trick." Lobo smiled, he looked to see Artemis holding her bow and it was ready to fire.
"Will, take Violet and Lian and run!" Artemis shouted as she fired a few arrows at Lobo, Will took Violet and Lian then ran away. "You'll not be laying a finger on her!" Artemis shouted, Lobo laughed then slapped her into a wall.
"Don't mind but I've got a bounty to collect," Lobo smiled then started to walk away but then he felt something flying towards him. "What is it now?" Lobo asked as he turned around, he could a red flying object coming towards him at high speeds.
"Not what, who!" The voice shouted, Artemis looked up to see who it was: it was Taiga. "No one messes with my family!" Taiga shouted as he grabbed Lobo and they both crashed outside on the street.
"Ultraman Taiga, I've heard about you," Lobo smiled as he started spinning his chains, Taiga stood ready for a fight. "Now out of my way, I'm here for the Halo girl." Lobo started running and tried to past but Taiga held his hands out to stop him.
"I won't allow anyone else I care about be harmed!" Taiga shouted, he then punched Lobo hard in the face which sent him flying. "Now, leave or…." Taiga didn't get to finish his sentence as a bomb blew up under his feet and flew him through several houses which made Lobo smile, he looked behind the Harper house to see Will, Violet and Lian.
"Now, to get what I came for," Lobo smiled, he flew his chains which wrapped around Violet and Artemis. "Maybe I can get something off you, blondie." Lobo smiled, Taiga got up to see Lobo pulling Artemis and Violet towards him.
"NO!" Taiga shouted, he got up and was about to run when a blue orb flew and broke the chains then entered Taiga's chest.
Inside Taiga's chest:
The blue orb hovered in front of Connor's face until it transformed into a ghost figure of a blue and silver Ultra which made the Taiga and Titas keys shine bright.
"Taiga, Titas, did you miss me?" The figure asked just as two ghost figures of Taiga and Titas appeared.
"Fuma! It's good to see you again!" Taiga exclaimed, Fuma nodded then his figure turned into a key. "Connor, use Fuma's power to beat his pain!" Taiga told Connor who nodded, he reached out and grabbed Fuma's key.
"The Champion Of The Wind: Fuma!" Connor shouted, he pulled the lever then held the Fuma key in his right hand which caused Fuma's energy to enter the Taiga Spark. "Buddy go!" Connor held his right arm up and which him glow blue.
"Ultraman Fuma!" Connor body started to change into a blue and silver figure with a white eyes: he was now Ultraman Fuma.
Outside:
In the fight, Lobo was walking towards Halo and was within arms length of her when a blue blur flew past and somehow, Lobo had been slashed across the stomach and a blue figure knelt in front of Violet and Artemis.
"Who are you?" Lobo asked, he was about to punch the figure in the face but the blue figure caught his hand and looked up.
"I'm Fuma: I arrive with the wind of the galaxy." Fuma introduced himself to Lobo, he flew Lobo's fist back then did a backflips to Violet and Artemis. "Don't worry, I won't allow anyone to harm Taiga's friends." Fuma told them then he teleported and started fighting Lobo but he was too fast for Lobo to stop.
"Stop teleporting and fight a man, coward!" Lobo shouted and before he knew it, something was hitting in the back and when he turned around: Lobo got hit by several shurikens.
"That better for you," Lobo looked up to see Fuma floating in the air, he flew towards Lobo but then vanished. "Can't keep up with my speed; sucks to be you then." Fuma reappeared behind Lobo then kicked him into a tree followed more shurikens being thrown at him.
Inside Fuma's chest:
Inside Fuma's chest, Connor held his left arm and his wrist started to glow as an Ultra-let appeared: it had a yellow V on it with a small black V underneath it. Connor pulled the handle on the back of the brace which activated the attack function, he held the brace over his left wrist then a surge of yellow energy flew behind Connor.
"Victory-let! Connect on!" A huge ghostly figure of Ultraman Victory appeared then it transformed into energy, the yellow energy flew back into the brace.
Star City:
Fuma was standing in front of Violet, Will, Artemis and Lian while projecting a huge blue water style shield: Lobo's chains were bouncing off the shield until the chains backfired and hit Lobo.
"Good luck trying to block this!" Fuma shouted as a huge yellow shuriken appeared in his right hand, he pulled his left hand back and the shuriken changed into a huge yellow arrow. "Sharp Star Light Wave Shuriken!" Fuma let go of the shuriken then it flew towards Lobo and sent him flying all the way down the street.
"Nice hit," Lobo shouted as he looked down to see a huge cut down the center of his chest. "I'll leave and say that the Halo girl was already taken." Lobo got on his bike and flew off into the sky, Fuma turned around then ran over to the others.
"Are you lot okay?" Fuma asked, everyone nodded but Artemis: she had a huge cut across her arm from Lobo's chains. Fuma knelt down and hovered his right hand over her arm, Artemis' wound then healed which amazed everyone but it had an unexpected effect to Fuma: he could old memories of Artemis with a red haired boy.
"Thanks for coming to help," Artemis thanked, Fuma nodded then he flew away which surprised everyone. "Seems like that this new Ultra fights first and socialises never." Artemis joked then the family looked at their house to see that it was all repaired with a note from Fuma.
Happy Harbour:
M'gann was sat outside talking with Zatanna about her's and Connor's wedding, they looked up to see a red and silver figure flying towards them: it was Taiga. He landed next to the Bio Ship then walked over to M'gann and Zatanna as he changed back into Connor, he hugged M'gann then hugged Zatanna.
"Nice to see you, Zatanna," Connor smiled as the three of sat down. "Did I interrupt something when I arrived?" Connor asked, the two women shook their heads then M'gann rested her head on Connor's shoulder.
"What made you fly off earlier?" M'gann asked, Connor held up his right arm and the Taiga Spark appeared. "Where was the trouble?" M'gann asked, Connor looked up at the two women then looked down at the Ultra Keys.
"It was in Star City; Lobo was after Violet," Connor explained which shocked M'gann and Zatanna, Connor detached one of the Ultra Key then handed it to M'gann. "And this came to me: the member of Taiga's squad." M'gann smiled then the key glowed blue, it flew on to the ground and transformed into a ghost like figure of Ultraman Fuma.
"Connor, can I ask you and the others something?" Fuma asked curiously, the three nodded then Fuma projected one of memories he saw when he healed Artemis. "Who is the redhead boy that Artemis is with?" Fuma asked, Connor and the others looked down then the ghost figures of Taiga and Titas alongside Fuma.
"That was Artemis' boyfriend; Wally West," M'gann told the Tri-Squad, they could tell that Wally's name made everyone upset. "He was Kid Flash before Bart but Wally died a few years saving the world." The Tri Squad nodded as they had an idea, they stepped away to make sure nothing was near then all the Ultra bracelets appeared.
"What are you three doing?" Zatanna asked as the Tri-Squad linked hands, the bracelets started glowing until they emitted an energy which created ghost versions of the past seven Ultras: Ginga, Victory, X, Orb, Geed, Rosso and Blu.
"Stand back!" Taiga shouted, the Tri-Squad started glowing rainbow colours then they nodded at each other.
"By our combine powers, we revive a fallen hero," The Tri-Squad started chanting and the three heroes watched. "Use our powers to bring back a fallen friend, use our powers to bring Wally West back to us!" The Tri-Squad shouted, the seven legendary Ultras fired their beams together which created a portal.
"Connor, we need to change!" Taiga shouted, Connor held up the Taiga Spark and nodded, he ran then Connor and Taiga merged together. "Don't worry, we'll be fine!" Taiga called over to M'gann and Zatanna, he then ran towards the portal then held his hand out. Zatanna and M'gann were waiting for something to happen then something did: a hand reached out and grabbed Taiga's.
"Come home, Wally!" Taiga and Connor shouted together, he started pulling the figure out but the portal was fighting back. "There's no way we're going to let stay dead when people want you back!" The two screamed then pulled with all their might, a figure came flying out and landed next to Taiga.
"Is it…?" M'gann asked, she and Zatanna stepped closer to see that the figure that Taiga pulled out was none other than Wally West: he was wearing black trousers, red trainers and a white vest. "Wally!" M'gann shouted, she and Zatanna ran over to Wally just as Taiga changed back to Connor who looked tired.
"He's alive, just unconscious," Zatanna told the pair which them made happy. "And he's real, not a fake or a ghost." Zatanna promised, Connor and M'gann got up just as the Ultra bracelets flew back into the Taiga Spark and the ghost figures of Taiga, Titas and Fuma appeared again.
"We did it," Taiga spoke up, Titas and Fuma nodded then patted Taiga on the shoulder. "Let's tell Artemis when Wally's awake." Taiga suggested to them, everyone agreed. They took Wally indoors so he could recover as well as the Tri-Squad, they were weak from opening the portal and pulling Wally out but they were all happy that Wally was back.
Chapter 3 is finished and there's more chapters to go. The Tri-Squad are reunited and Wally West is alive! How will Artemis react? Will Wally and Artemis settle down? When will Connor and M'gann's wedding happen?
