Raidentensho: Thanks. I didn't use the Shimon Flames because while the Earth Flame is detailed enough for me to use the others are only really passingly mentioned when used in their fights. So I've settled on new flames that have some link to either Angels or Light in some manner.

DdraigTrueEmperor9: Thanks. I will admit that I have trouble settling where Kazu's power level is at times but I intend to try and rectify that by avoiding much training going on for him while in the Underworld. At the moment I am thinking of having Tannin train Issei and Saji instead of Kazu.
As with Kazu being still a servant despite his power, my current plan has for when Kiba and Akeno would take their Mid Class exams would be the time that Kazu gets High Class. I agree though that those other factions would easily let him join if he chose to leave the devils.
Well, I can see them all not being particularly happy at how Kazu was recruited and I do intend to keep his relationship with Rias at most friendship/ neutral.
^^; Well I figured that both start out as being viewed as bad guys originally, Vali by being the one to turn traitor at the Peace Treaty and Jelial with the Tower of Heaven, but both have a change of heart (Vali ending up leaving the Khaos Brigade with his team and helping out on occasion and Jellal working to atone for what he did when he was controlled.) although Vali still wants revenge on his grandfather. As for Vali being able to use Light Magic, there's not much mentioned about Vali's mother so having her being a Magician and skilled with light magic seems like something a Devil would be interested in having a child inherit, especially with the potential resistance Vali's mother would have gained just from practising that sort of magic. Well the way I see the treaty battle was more Vali testing or underestimating Issei to try and draw out a good battle but I understand what you mean about Vali being able to easily kill the Gremory group if he was really evil rather then a chaotic character.
Yeah I intend to have Kazu's father find love, whether they are supernaturally aware or not I haven't decided at the moment. As for Kazu's mother, I haven't any intentions of really mentioning her beyond Kazu's backstory but I'm open to possibly having her show up in the future for a good reason.
thehearne97: I do intend to put a listing for Kazu's power at the bottom of this chapter although some of Metatron's weapons I haven't settled on secondary abilities. As I said above I don't really intend to have Kazu's mother return but am open to it being possible with a good reason.
Well, with Tiamat I figured she possibly faked her death with the Mesopotamian mythology and let them believe she died to avoid getting annoyed by warriors keep trying to attack her like flies. Fafnir, I think, was revived at some point by someone in Norse myth but that's just off the top of my head. Will agree that Tiamat's power is possibly downplayed but she doesn't show much in canon and in this fic I try and have her act as elder of the dragon village so she's not had to fight much.

"I'm so sorry, Kazu-kun." Rias spoke sincerely, Kazuhiko blinking in surprise at seeing the redhead standing in front of him. The leaders had all headed back to their places after the spar leaving the members of the ORC to go about their personal time before club activities would start later on in the evening. The brunet bit his tongue to stop a retort to fall out as he saw the sorrow and sincerity in her eyes as she continued "I should have just approached you rather then play with your life but I was scared. Of your rejection, of scaring you off, of even being trapped married to Riser... and-and I thought it was the only way. But I could have killed you twice or started a war or-or made you into a lab rat for any of the factions if they knew about you. S-So, I'm sorry."
Rias bowed and Kazuhiko realised that Akeno and Seraphina were still in the room with Asia and Mittelt watching.
"I... I can't say that I can forgive you so easily Gremory... no, Rias." Kazuhiko started slowly, tasting his [King's] first name for a moment as he tried to settle on how to explain his feelings, "You allowed Raynare to kill me for the chance of reincarnating me. Tried to keep me in the dark about what I became and your engagement with Riser. I can understand why you would do that but it would have been better to explain it all upfront after you reincarnated me. Also if I hadn't been taught by Matsu-san how to fight and did work for her, I wouldn't have been anywhere near the strength I was to beat Riser. I could have even been killed by one of Raynare's group because of lack of experience or not knowing the potential dangers I would face."
Kazuhiko held up a hand to stop Rias' rebuke as he continued "I know it wasn't your fault that it was moved forwards but the possibility should have saw you training a lot more for the possibility given how eager both Lords appeared to be about the union."
Kazuhiko sighed as he ran a hand through his hair, trying to settle on before adding "For now, let's call it a truce."
"Alright." Rias spoke with a soft sigh, "My pushing hasn't been helping you, has it?"
Rias looked to Kazuhiko to see him nod in response, sighing sadly herself before turning to head back to her desk to prepare for the devil duties later on.

Issei and Saji walked from the old school building with twin frowns, the spar between Kazuhiko and Karasuba had been jarring for both of them with how far behind they were with their fellow [Pawn].
"We have to do something about this," Issei started, Saji arching an eyebrow at him as he continued "I mean if we don't try to catch up there's no way I'll become a harem king and you won't impregnate Kaichou."
"Your right." Saji spoke with a resolute nod.
[That's pretty much rape you idiots...] Zirnitra spoke aloud so both boys could hear it, making Saji cringe in realisation as the black dragon continued [But at least the motivation is there.]
"What can we do to catch up then Zirnitra?" Issei asked, Zirnitra rolling his eyes at his host's idiocy as he answered with his own question [How do you think Albion's host got so strong in the first place?]
"Training." Saji and Issei answered together.
[Obviously but he was creative in his magic style as well. I mean he took one of your animated shows and adapted the magic to suit his own style and be able to work alongside Albion's and Metatron's powers.] Zirnitra explained with a sigh.
"So we learn those [Vongola Flames] and train and we'd get to Yuuki's level in no time." Saji spoke with an eager tone, Zirnitra sighing as he countered [No, Vritra's host. It would take longer then you suspect unless you managed to survive the sort of training Albion's host as been through. Also you wouldn't be able to use those flames to the same level as Albion's host as his knowledge of the series and enjoyment of it helped shape the power they wield. Pick something more in line with your own interests and work with that.]
"That's why you helped me learn the [Dragon Shot]? It was so similar to Goku's [Kamehameha] that I was motivated to work for it and perfect it." Issei asked surprised, Zirnitra smiling as he was glad his host understood what he was trying to get them to realise, [Exactly. Find some spells or techniques that you are motivated to learn and you'll work to pick them up quicker. Also spells don't have to be attacks, they could be defensive or even support based to help yourself.]
"Help myself, huh...?" Issei muttered to himself, Saji deep in thought next to him as they both wondered over what the Dragon had told them.

Ravel smiled as she stood out in an open space of Matsu's new lab, Kazuhiko a few steps behind her as she turned to face him and asked "Are we going to start my training?"
"Uh huh. Shall we start with [Purple Flare] then?" Kazuhiko asked, looking over the papers he had to see Ravel nod as she replied "If that's what you think it best, Kazuhiko-sama."
"Well, first thing first would be to work on making use your flames doesn't burn what they hit." Kazuhiko explained, Ravel looking surprised as she asked "Why?"
"The [Purple Flare] is flames that can't be extinguished by wind or water but they only damage by a solid attack not like how normal flames damage. Meaning they are solid enough to form projectiles or weapons but can't burn someone like normal flames do." Kazuhiko answered, Ravel nodding in understanding before holding her hands out and create orange flames over her hands which turned into purple flames.
"It's best to work on ability first and then appearance second as once you have the ability down you can call on it easier." Kazuhiko added as he got closer, Ravel's eyes keeping focus on the ball of flames as she concentrated on willing it to act in the way she wanted.
"Forget about the temperature, this fire doesn't need it." Kazuhiko spoke at feeling how the temperature of the fireball changed, Ravel's eyes widening as she caught herself from trying to do that again and that the core of the flame lightened slightly to look more like the [Purple Flare] she had seen.
"What do you think?" Ravel asked cautiously, Kazuhiko looking over the flame for a moment before replying "It's best you test it against a target to see if it burns anything or not first."
"Right." Ravel spoke with a nod, turning to the target that had been set up. Throwing the purple fireball, Ravel and Kazuhiko watched as it thud against the tree and only leaving some small scorch marks and a slight indent into the rectangular target.
"That's pretty good, Rave-tan, you just need to focus a bit more." Matsu spoke from her computer, Ravel's eyebrow twitching at the nickname she had gained as she looked to Kazuhiko for his response.
"I agree. You just need to practice with it a bit more as well." Kazuhiko added, Ravel nodding resolutely as she turned back to the target to try again.
After an hour of practice, Ravel sat tiredly on a sofa set up in the room, enjoying a cup of hot chocolate as she looked up to where Kazuhiko and Matsu were talking about the former's first [Heavenly Flame] as she heard the former call them. She'd trained in [Purple Flare], blue [Cold Fire], her normal orange flames, crimson [Destruction Flames] and green [Healing Flames] only to realise how getting a grasp on one of them was hard to mould her flames into but got easier with each attempt.
'I can't imagine how long it took Kazuhiko-sama to master his own flames when I already have intimate knowledge of my natural flames. But I guess once he mastered them he could use them like they were second nature.' Ravel thought to herself as she sipped at her drink and enjoyed the break she had earned.

Kiba stood surrounded by his swords as he stood out of sight, behind the old school building, looking over all of his creations as he thought 'Kazu-kun has been able to keep up with me since the Rating Game with Riser... and I wasn't much use during that seeing as he destroyed most of Riser's peerage with one attack.'
'He even gave me a suggestion to help improve my powers and create more swords.' Kiba added as he glanced to the two swords he'd created in his hands, Kanshou and Bakuya, and tightened his grip on them. He started going through some of the movements that he had saw other dual wielders use as his thoughts continued 'Yu-san is able to do a lot with just a [Staring Blue] and still managed to help more against Kokabiel. I've fallen too much behind Kazu-kun to be of much help to him or Buchou at my current level.'
Focusing his resolve, Kiba Yuuto started to experiment with the powers he had been trained with ever since he had joined Rias' peerage.

Kazuhiko shifted nervously where he stood outside of the summer house that Rias and the others had used to train for the Rating Game with Riser. He'd changed into his blue tracksuit while he waited for Gabriel and her assistant to appear.
A bright white magic circle appeared several feet in front of Kazuhiko, fading to reveal Gabriel and a beautiful European woman in an exorcist uniform who looked to be in her late twenties with blue eyes and light brown hair. Kazuhiko noticed on the back of her hand was a 'Q' and that she had a aura similar to that of an Angel.
"Kazuhiko-kun, this is Griselda Quarta. She's the Queen of my suit of Brave Saints, the Angel equivalent of the [Evil Pieces] that are close to completion now thanks to Ajuka-san's help. Griselda-san, this is the [Shihoryuukou], Kazuhiko Yuuki." Gabriel introduced the two to each other, Kazuhiko giving a respectful nod as Griselda spoke with a kind smile "It's nice to meet you, Kazuhiko-sama."
"Nice to meet you too." Kazuhiko replied, Griselda glancing to Gabriel as she spoke "Now we should start with checking the basics, Kazuhiko-san."
The next few minutes saw Kazuhiko creating spears and swords out of his silver flames and even a large hula hoop before Gabriel asked "Have you decided on a name for these [Purification] flames of yours?"
"Yeah... I think I'm gonna call them [Lunar Flames]. Haven't had any luck with coming up with the other holy flames yet." Kazuhiko answered, looking over the ball of newly named [Luna Flames] in his hand before Griselda spoke to herself amazed "I've never sensed such a pure flame before."
"Gabriel-sama, maybe I should spar with Kazuhiko-sama." Griselda suggested, drawing curious look from the pair as she continued "If what I understand is correct Kazuhiko-sama's [Lunar Flame] came about due to the influence of his view on Angels. So seeing him spar with an Angel should help him settle on the abilities of the other flames."
{That's a good idea, Kazu-kun.} Metatron spoke as she appeared in a small burst of [Mist Flames] off to the side, Griselda bowing to the Archangel as she greeted "Metatron-sama."
"Only if Kazuhiko-san is sure." Gabriel spoke innocently, Kazuhiko nodding as he replied "Yeah, I don't mind. It would probably help me a lot."
{Don't use your other powers as well, Kazu-kun, otherwise it defeats the purpose of this spar.} Metatron reminded, Kazuhiko nodding as both Archangels moved away. Griselda released her three sets of angel wings, a halo shining into life above her head as she as she created a light sword for her use as she asked "Are you ready, Kazuhiko-sama?"
"Yeah." Kazuhiko replied, taking a ready stance before Griselda dashed towards him and brought her light sword down. Kazuhiko side stepped the attack, creating his own sword out of [Lunar Flames] to block the next strike only to have to dodge again as his sword was cut through.
"Your light may be one of the purest but its not dense enough for use in battle." Griselda commented honestly, making Kazuhiko frown as he realised he was only using the flames like he normally did with Metatron's or Shirohime's weapons. He focused on his [Lunar Flames] again after a moment, creating a denser sword to use for the next clash. Griselda nodded pleased at seeing the new sword hold up easily to her own, hopping backwards and using her wings to take her farther away while waving an arm skywards to create a barrage of light spears which she soon flung at the brunet.
Kazuhiko dismissed his sword as he threw both hands forwards, using a burst of [Luna Flames] much like he would normally use [Sky Flames] and propelling him backwards to avoid the barrage of spears which buried themselves into the ground. Kazuhiko's eyes focused on the spears as he came up with an idea as he thought 'Albion what do you think about a flame that can pierce anything?'
[That was one of Ddraig's original abilities, I believe. It would be fun to make it one of our own, Kazu. Maybe you can give it a 'heavenly' name like you did with the [Lunar Flames] and we can annoy Ddraig with it next time we meet.] Albion replied with a smirk, Kazuhiko mirroring it as he extinguished the silver flames before focusing on the image in his mind and the new flame, and its factor of [Penetration], he was creating as he spoke "Meteor Spear."
Brown lightning surged into life around Kazuhiko's left hand, surprising those watching as it shifted into a long spear. The brunet's focus making it dense enough that he trusted it would pierce through whatever it hit. Throwing the spear at Griselda with enough force to make it dangerous forced her to dodge and turn to see the brown spear of lightning hit and travel through the tree with just a hole for where it had hit.
{[Meteor Flames]. Flames based on how Angels use spears mainly and created to pierce whatever gets in the way of their target.} Metatron mused impressed, Griselda looking at Kazuhiko with respect and awe while Gabriel looked on with respect, pleased for her sister's host to create one of his holy flames so quickly.
[Meteor, huh?] Albion asked curiously, Kazuhiko taking a moment before answering 'What's higher then the sky if not the heavenly bodies of space?'
[That's true.] Albion muttered, Kazuhiko finding himself having to dodge faster and faster as Griselda shot barrages of light spears at him while using a [Lunar Flames] sword to deflect the few that were too close to hitting him.
'Need to move quicker...' Kazuhiko thought as he tried to get closer to Griselda, who was creating dozens of spears and launching them with ease, before Albion mused [How about an opposite to your [Rain Flames]? Something that accelerates rather then slows down.]
'That's a good idea, Albion.' Kazuhiko thought, frowning for a moment to settle on the new holy flame's appearance, dismissing his [Lunar Flame] sword before covering his limbs in pale blue lightning that had white edging. Griselda was surprised as her next spear was dodged so effortlessly before the next was caught as he pointed a finger from his other hand at Griselda as he spoke "Comet Beam."
A thin, finger beam of the same coloured lightning shot at Griselda so quickly that she barely dodged them, using her sword to deflect the second and third shots and stopping her attacks and dismissing the light spears she had created.
{[Comet Flames]... Flames based on speed that light has and striking quickly. A factor of [Acceleration], huh?} Metatron commented, arching an eyebrow at Kazuhiko who quickly cut the [Comet Flames] as she added {You'll need to be careful not to push your body too much with them especially if you're focusing it within your body.}
"Yeah..." Kazuhiko replied while shaking his arms and legs as some of his muscles spasmed oddly. He would need to refine the [Comet Flame] to get it to work better but the basic idea seemed sound for now.
"That's three." Gabriel spoke intrigued, her hands clutching together as she noticed Griselda building up power in her body. The exorcist turned angel pointed her hand at Kazuhiko and fired off a giant spear of light at him, making his eyes widened as he thought 'Need some sort of shield...'
[[Protection], Kazu] Albion supplied helpfully, Kazuhiko crossing his arms in front of him as dark stony grey flames burst into life over his arms and formed into a large shield which intercepted the giant light spear. The light spear tried to force its way through the barrier for a few moments before it detonated in a large explosion.
"Kazuhiko-san!" Gabriel called, Metatron resting a hand on her sister's arms as she reassured her {He's fine...}
The cloud of smoke cleared to reveal Kazuhiko was staring at the barrier he had created that looked unharmed as he thought 'Thanks for that, Albion...'
[Seems like a good idea at the time. What are you going to call them?] Albion asked, Kazuhiko letting the barrier disperse before he muttered "Asteroid, I guess... What made you think of that?"
[Seemed like a good idea to have another defensive flame in case something couldn't be stopped by your [Lightning Flames].] Albion answered, Kazuhiko nodding in agreement as he looked up to Griselda ready stance before mentally asked 'Any other ideas?'
[One or two... The first is [Concealment] as your illusions with [Mist Flames] only work so long as the opponent can't sense through them. The other was [Restoration] seeing as your [Sun Flames] only work on healing organic or on the auras of magical objects and it'll help to repair stuff like your armour or Shirohime if need be in the future.] Albion explained, Kazuhiko nodding in agreement at the dragon's logic as he thought 'Let's try [Concealment] first then...'
Kazuhiko focused for a moment before gold flames with a white core erupted from his body, aiming to hide himself from Griselda's senses as he and the flames disappeared from the angel turned exorcist's sight.
"Interesting... Using a flame to hide from my sight... Sound, Smell and even hearing." Griselda spoke as she looked around slowly to try and find where Kazuhiko was before added with a small smile "You need to focus on hiding your aura as well, Kazuhiko-san."
Griselda fired a light spear behind herself, watching it rip through the tracksuit jacket at Kazuhiko's the right side after destroying the flames that hid him.
"Damn..." Kazuhiko muttered as he reappeared, extinguishing his gold flames and looking at his damaged clothes before adding "Best time to try the other flame then..."
{[Solar Flames], huh, with the factor of [Concealment] and [Star Flames] with a factor of [Restoration]. Pretty smart thinking from you Albion.} Metatron spoke impressed as Gabriel watched amazed.
The [Star Flames] appeared on Kazuhiko's hand as pure white flames that had a yellow core which he soon put onto the damaged part of his clothing and made eyes widen in amazement as they watched the fabric knit itself back together and reform as if never damaged.
"That will be very useful in the future to undo the destruction of places." Gabriel mused, Kazuhiko sighing once he finished repairing the damage as he looked it over before speaking "One left then."
"It seems that way." Griselda as she darted forwards at Kazuhiko, light coalescing around her hands to form two short swords which were only blocked from hitting Kazuhiko as he created a pair of scimitars out of [Asteroid Flames] in his own hands. The pair continued to clash blade on blade as Kazuhiko tried to think of what his last flame should be. He flipped backwards to avoid Griselda's combining her swords into a larger halberd, dispersing his scimitars to channel some [Comet Flames] into his hand, pointing it like a gun as he spoke "Comet Higan."
From the ball of pale blue lightning dozens of rapid fired bullets shot at Griselda, making her change her weapon into a domed shield which deflected them away from her.
'[Refraction]... Why didn't I think of that before.' Kazuhiko thought, managing to resist the urge to hit himself as he continued to fire needle bullets of [Comet Flames] at Griselda as his thoughts continued 'Would it work beyond just light magic though...? I mean [Refraction] is splitting light into colours so theoretically I could split mixed element attacks like holy lightning into both holy and lightning or physically refract magic attacks around where I put it into weaker attacks. I could even have it refract itself into weaker attacks to surprise opponents.'
Switching to [Meteor Flames] Kazuhiko launched a spear at Griselda only to miss as the Angel moved gracefully out of the way.
'Physical attacks like swords... I don't know...' Kazuhiko thought as he fired several invisible and aura-hidden [Solar Flame] tennis ball sized blasts at Griselda who fired off a barrage of light arrows back to make them explode, 'It could cut the thing in half or it could separate the very elements that make up the weapon depending on how I use it.'
{Griselda give him one big blast.} Metatron called out, noticing his inner turmoil and getting a shocked look from Kazuhiko as Griselda fired off a tanker sized light spear at him. Kazuhiko reacted on instinct, dismissing his previous flames and thrusting both hands forwards as new flames flared into life around them. They were a mixture of blue and green, changing between the two as if based on the Aurora Borealis he'd seen in class one time. The giant light spear collided with the flames and Kazuhiko was nearly knocked off his feet before seeing the spear split apart and flow around the flames and by extension his own body before the two halves slammed into a pair of mountains behind him and took off a equal portions of tops of them.
"What the hell, Metatron!?" Kazuhiko shouted between pants, Metatron smiling as she replied {You were overthinking things, Kazu-kun... These [Aurora Flames] will work just find with the [Refraction] factor.}
[She's right partner. that idea of splitting sciencesy elements isn't something you'd normally bother with so there's no point concerning yourself with that risk for now. Plus it will be helpful if such a situation calls for it in the future.] Albion added, Kazuhiko glancing at his hands before nodding his understanding before looking to see both Griselda and Gabriel looking at him with awe.
"Fufufu. Your concern and worry about such power shows you truly have a heart of an angel, Kazuhiko-sama, even though though the influence of Devil and Dragon is strong in you." Griselda spoke with a smile, Kazuhiko's cheeks reddened as swore there was some sort of insult amongst her words.
"Yes. I thought that Griselda-san after first meeting Kazuhiko-kun myself." Gabriel spoke up with a kind smile, Metatron giggling at how her host's face reddened even further as he asked "Can we just get back to training...? I need to practice my new flames."
"Of course." Griselda spoke with an approving smile.
...
"It's been awhile, Warrior Xenovia. I never thought we would ever meet again like this." Griselda spoke calmly as she sat opposite Xenovia, Gabriel sitting peacefully enjoying a cup of tea as Kazuhiko and Asia served tea to the others. Kazuhiko soon collapsing onto the empty seat next to Gabriel as he tried to recover from his training with the [Queen of Hearts] earlier.
"Y-Yes, Sister Griselda. I-It has been awhile… H-How h-have you b-been….?" Xenovia spoke as she nervously sweated before the two Angels as Griselda countered "'How have you been' isn't something you should be saying right now? Why did you reincarnate into a Devil after coming here for a mission? Not only that, why haven't you contacted me before the Shihoryuukou invited us?"
"Griselda-san and Xenovia came from the same facility. Not only that, she's the sempai of Xenovia. She also knew Xenovia longer than anyone at the Church. I believe she also helped Irina-san multiple times when she worked with Xenovia." Gabriel explained quietly to Asia and Kazuhiko, getting understanding nods from the latter as Xenovia turned to shout at Kazuhiko "Why'd you bring her here, Kazuhiko-sama? Have I done something to wrong you?"
"Of course not, Xenovia. Griselda-sensei just wanted to meet you. She said she was worried about you." Kazuhiko instantly countered, Griselda nodding as she continued "That's right. I was about to go crazy when I heard that you went to Japan and reincarnated into a Devil. You, who I have raised with the teachings of God, became a Devil… you always acted on your own and created some weird theory all the time so everyone treated you as a problem child but I always thought of you as kindhearted girl."
"Sister Griselda, please forgive Xenovia… as someone who has been expelled by the Church, I'm sure you won't believe me but… Xenovia-san is a really good person. Xenovia-san is my precious friend. So please forgive her." Asia asked concerned for her friend. Kazuhiko smiled at Asia's words, aware that the two church girls having becoming close friends as he added "It probably wasn't helped that she learned of Metatron soon after the fight with Kokabiel."
"Sister Asia, if I can ask you a favour, please remain this troublemaker's friend in the future." Griselda asked, Asia nodding with a smile as she replied "Of course! A-And also, I am no longer…."
"At least I will treat you as a Sister." Griselda added, Gabriel smiling brightly as Griselda turned to Kazuhiko "I will also leave these two Sisters under your supervision, Shihoryuukou. Please take good care of them."
"Of course, Griselda-san." Kazuhiko replied with a nod.
...
"Thank you for allowing us to stay here, Yuuki-san, Kazu-kun." Rias spoke with a bow to Kazuhiko and his father; Akeno, Koneko, Kiba and Gasper bowing as well.
"Your welcome, just follow the rules and we won't have any troubles." Kazuhiko's dad replied sternly, getting a nod from the quintet as they looked to Kazuhiko who was waiting with Seraphina, Ravel, Mittelt and Asia as he spoke "Come on, we'll show you to your rooms. Ravel-san can you go check on Xenovia and Yu, they should be in Matsu-san's lab, given that Yu wanted to see if Xenovia could use the Getusga Tensho of all things. Maybe Yu'll have some good ideas for other flames for you to learn as well."
"I... I would like to observe them if possible." Kiba asked hesitantly, Kazuhiko looking to Ravel as he added "Please show Kiba down there as well."
"Right Kazuhiko-sama." Ravel replied with a smile and nod, quickly entering the elevator to go to the training room as Kiba entered behind her.
"Come on. Sera-chan and I'll show you where your rooms are." Kazuhiko spoke as he and Seraphina headed towards the stairs as the latter spoke up "Your rooms are all on the third floor and I made sure that your room has some good blinds Gasper-kun."
Gasper perked up at hearing that, offering Kazuhiko a smile as he hurried after the couple as he spoke "Thank you, Kazu-sempai."

"Hey Kazu. How did they settle in?" Kazuhiko's father asked as his son entered the living room, nodding as he replied "Alright. They all understand the rules for staying here."
"That's good." His father spoke, Kazuhiko taking a seat before voicing a question he had, "Tou-san... Why did you agree with letting the others stay? I mean I know I suggested it cause it would be a way to get better protection but..."
"I chose to let them stay because I didn't want a rift to grow between us, especially with you becoming more involved in the supernatural, Kazu." His father interrupted with a soft smile before a chuckle slipped out as he added "Plus it will be interesting to see how much of the childhood stories and myths are real."
"Oh..." Kazuhiko spoke surprised before sighing in relief, tension draining from him as he added "It's probably going to be safer here anyway now with everyone gathered in one place."
"Another good point." Kazuhiko's father added, checking the time on his watch before speaking "I best get ready. I've, erm, got an important meeting soon."
"Oh...?" Kazuhiko asked, arching an eyebrow at the flimsy reason before his father sighed and muttered "Fine. I've got a date with one of my colleagues. Well, more like she continued to support me and I want to repay her."
Kazuhiko smiled at how his father seemed to be getting over what his mother had done as he offered "Alright, Tou-san. Go have some fun... Just be careful."
"Of course..." His father replied, rolling his eyes in amusement at the seemingly switch in roles for the brief moment between father and son.
...
"Your new flames looks like they'll be a good expansion for your fighting style." Matsu spoke, looking over the containers that held the seven [Heavenly Flames] Kazuhiko had created with Gabriel, Griselda and Metatron's help.
"So why did you want them put in containers; outside of studying them, I mean?" Kazuhiko asked, still finding it a bit odd to have the rest of the Gremory peerage around the laboratory. Rias was nearby, observing the pair talking while also watching Yu and Kiba sparring, Mittelt and Kalawarner training and Akeno and Ravel was getting tips from Seraphina about how to use lightning and Fire magic respectively. Asia, Gasper and Koneko were even around with the former practising some enhancement magic on the latter two that Kazuhiko had suggested based on what Wendy used from [Fairy Tail] that would work well with her [Twilight Healing].
"Well, Shirohime will need to absorb them so that she doesn't suffer any adverse effects from when you use them with her. It's why she can stand you using [Storm] and [Rain] flames without any bad reactions." Matsu explained, Shirohime crooning from where it sat around Kazuhiko's neck.
"That makes sense as both would have bad effects on her." Kazuhiko spoke with a nod, stroking a finger over Shirohime's head as he added "Go on then, Shi."
Shirohime shot forwards, her form turning into a large blob as she landed onto the containers of the holy flames. A few minutes passed as the only visible signs of the containers disappeared into the Shirohime-blob before the living weapon returned to its natural serpentine form before giving off a satisfied burp and curling up on the table to sleep.
"I'll need to run a few checks on her to make sure there's no adverse effects to her but that's it." Matsu explained with a soft smile as she ran a finger down Shirohime's length and getting a pleased noise from her.
Kazuhiko nodded as he turned to the rest of the room, blinking as he saw Kiba fire a few swords - a la Fate/Stay's Gilgamesh - at Yu who countered with an Eight Flower Mantis before speaking to himself "Finally working on using that [Sword Birth] beyond just an armoury, huh?"
"I was surprised when I stumbled upon him practising that." Rias commented as she walked to Kazuhiko's side, only taking a moment to look at him before continuing "I'm ashamed to admit I never thought of that and I've watched the series."
"That's what happen when you don't incorporate good ideas." Kazuhiko retorted with an amused smirk, "Only reason I jumped on the Vongola Flames was Albion and Metatron telling me I had an affinity for fire and lightning magic and just felt like I could work with it. Hell, I somehow corrupted Yu enough growing up that his Sacred Gear turned into Kanda's Mugen from [D. Gray Man]."
"What would you suggest for me...?" Rias asked, flushing at the wondering look directed at her as she added "If our roles were reversed, I mean."
"Hmm..." Kazuhiko mused, taking a moment to wonder over different characters and their fighting styles before answering "If roles were reversed... I'd probably suggest from Megaman NT Warrior for you, due to him using darkness based attacks that are destructive in nature which fits in with the [Power of Destruction]."
"I would have never thought of that." Rias spoke thoughtfully to herself, Kazuhiko shrugging as he replied "You practically have the Darkness Overload already complete from what I've seen. You just need to focus it a bit more and learn to shape it."
Rias nodded in thought as she moved over to Asia, Gasper and Koneko to check up on the Dhampir as Kazuhiko approached Ravel as he spoke "Ravel-san, have you had a look into Ace from One Piece? He probably has several moves you can use."
Ravel looked at him in thought before replying "I'll take a look, Kazuhiko-sama."
"Matsu-san should be able to easily find the information for you, if you want to watch some of the anime." Kazuhiko added as Ravel moved over to the demigoddess.
...
"This is the information I have on Kazu-tan from the beginning." Matsu explained, bringing up the information on the screens as Ajuka Beelzebub, Azazel and Sariel stood in her lab with Kazuhiko sitting in a nearby sear with Astrid, Seraphina and Rias watching.
Sariel appeared as a mature looking woman with modest curves and had dark gold hair with sky blue eyes which were behind a pair of wire framed glasses. Her overall appearance gave her the air of a strict librarian.
"Impressive..." Sariel mused, taking a moment to look over to Kazuhiko before she continued "The balance between all three sides is working to keep his holy and demonic energies separate yet still usable without much conflict."
"Yeah, Metatron and Albion did an amazing job with this especially as they had to act quickly and slip it in with the reincarnation process the [Evil Pieces] use." Ajuka commented impressed, tapping a finger onto where Matsu's scans had originally found the Evil Pieces inside Kazuhiko as he continued "And the fact you managed to hack the seal to free up more of their power to him is impressive Matsu-san."
"It's nothing really. I've been fascinated by the [Evil Pieces] data since I first seen them and have been trying to work through them." Matsu explained, tapping a few keys to show her own attempt to hack through the [Promotion] ability for Kazuhiko's advantage only to get a chuckle from the Maou. Rias looked surprised at hearing that, trying to observe what she could from where she sat before glancing to Kazuhiko only to hear him whisper "Metatron and Albion both got the data from her and only released the seals when my body could handle them."
"It looks like both Sacred Gears had more of an effect on the [Pawns] then I expected as well." Azazel commented, drawing Ajuka's attention to them as he nodded "Yes, they all mutated within him although I'll have to check them myself to see the values they have now and if they've altered due to Metatron and Albion's influences."
"Also the activation of Metatron's [Balance Breaker] removed the last of the seal from his body." Sariel mused with a look to Matsu, the ginger demigoddess nodding as she pointed out "Yeah. Metatron originally added extra seals due to the Mutated pieces so they wouldn't overload him as she believed he was worth sixteen [Pawn] pieces."
"Sixteen!?" Rias blurted out shocked at the fact she had even been able to revive Kazuhiko, only to turn embarrassed at the amused looks from the trio of scientists, Azazel nodding thoughtfully as he replied "I suppose that makes sense with two Longinus class powers in one host and how his hybrid body is now."
"Yes that sounds about right." Ajuka mused with a nod, Sariel nodding curtly as she turned to look at Kazuhiko and asked "Kazuhiko-sama, would you please come stand over here so we can run a check on you. We will only need to do it once."
"Alright then." Kazuhiko spoke, moving to the open space and waited for them to begin.

Kazuhiko sighed as he stood behind Matsu watching the screens as Rias and the rest of her peerage went after a familiar Stray Devil, the plant chimera creator that Kazuhiko had went after in Kyoto. The redhead had insisted on him staying behind as the stray wasn't difficult for them to face but Kazuhiko and Matsu had both asked Kalawarner, Yu and Asia to go after them as back up just in case.
"H-How's are they doing?" Gasper asked nervously, Kazuhiko offering a reassuring smile to the Dhampir who was sitting in his box as he replied "Looks like they are just wrapping up capturing him, Gasper-kun."
"T-That's good, Sempai." Gasper commented, Kazuhiko nodding before he turned to where Ravel and Seraphina was sparring.
"Higan!" Ravel called, pointing two fingers at Seraphina and firing off a dozen bullets of orange flames in quick succession as the bluenette deflected or blocked them with her own flames. Kazuhiko watched impressed as Ravel shrugged off the bolt of lightning that shot through her stomach with a grimace before her [Phenex Immortality] kicked in and instantly repaired the damage.
"Wasn't as much trouble as when you face him, huh?" Matsu spoke, Kazuhiko turning back as he replied "Yeah but he hasn't been there for very long so probably not built strong plant creatures yet. Plus he only escaped cause i was surprised by the dragon he had made and ended up dealing with that instead of him."
"True." Matsu mused as she watched Kiba and Mittelt capture the perverted stray devil and bind him so he couldn't escape.
"Matsu, what's that?" Kazuhiko asked, pointing at a shadowy blur that disappeared into the grove of trees at the back of the building. Matsu frowning as she started to tap away at the keyboard to try and find what Kazuhiko had spotted only to mutter "I missed it. Whatever it was."
"Guess we'll have to be careful that one of his experiments didn't escape." Kazuhiko spoke up, Matsu nodding in agreement.
...
"So, any plans for the holidays?" Takeshi asked as he, Kensuke, Kazuhiko and Yu sat together. The girls were off in another part of the classroom having some sort of 'girl talk' although Kazuhiko and Yu both noticed that Hikari appeared tired for some reason.
"No idea at the moment, really. Don't think I can really say much as I'm expecting Gremory to want to do some clud thing over them." Kazuhiko answered with a shrug, Takeshi and Kensuke nodding in understanding before turning to Yu with an asking look.
"I'm planning to head back to Tokyo to spend some time with my folks." Yu explained with a shrug.
"Hey, did you tire out Hikari-san or something Takeshi? She keeps yawning and looks like she's about to fall asleep." Kensuke asked with a smirk, Takeshi flushing as he shook his head embarrassed "I ain't done anything to Hikari-chan. I didn't even see her after school yesterday."
"Huh, that's odd then." Kensuke mused with a frown, Kazuhiko glancing over to the group of girls with a look of concern. He spotted the worried look Seraphina directed him after catching his gaze on Hikari, nodding her head at Hikari before signalling to Katase and Murayama as well.
"She probably working hard on some school work or something." Yu suggested, Takeshi and Kensuke nodding in understanding.
...
"You're right about something going on." Matsu spoke as she tapped away at the keyboard, addressing the residents of the Yuuki household as profile pictures of several young women appeared as she continued "At some point in the last few days all of these girls had energy drained from them late at night."
"So a monster that the stray was working on got out somehow?" Rias asked, Matsu nodding as Kazuhiko asked "It's another Plant Dragon, isn't it?"
"From the glimspes my cameras have caught it does look like it." Matsu answered, bringing up the best picture she had of the creature.
"You fought something like that before, Kazu-kun?" Akeno asked curiously, Kazuhiko nodding as he answered "I would of caught the stray if the dragon hadn't distracted and tried to tie me up. Thing regenerates rather fast as well."
"Matsu-sama, did you track where it is?" Ravel asked, trying to hide her blush at the way Akeno smiled or the imagery that came to mind. Koneko shot a glare at the [Queen] who she was sure was thinking something perverted before turning it on Matsu who answered "This park is where I managed to narrow things down to. If it is here, well, it'll probably target one of you big breasted girls."
"Why would anyone make such a thing?" Yu asked curiously, Kazuhiko feeling he already knew why if his last encountered with the Stray Devil meant anything as Matsu answered "Well, it sucks the energy out of them to bear fruit, which if he did right, upon consumption will allow any girl to increase their breast size to her heart's desire."
"Wait... So this Stray created a chimera plant dragon that makes fruit to make breasts bigger." Seraphina spoke incrediously as Koneko muttered, even as she looked down to her non existent chest "What a pervert."
"It still might be something good." Mittelt pointed out as she glanced to her own petite chest before Kalawarner patted her head as she retorted "You'll grow some eventually, Mitt-chan."
"Let's go deal with this thing before more girls get sick." Yu spoke up, getting nods from the group.
...
Arriving at the park, the Gremory group, Yu, Ravel, Kalawarner, Seraphina and Astrid all looked around in hopes for finding the plant dragon quickly as they spread out.
"Someone's coming." Astrid spoke up, signalling down the path before everyone moved to hide in the foliage to see what would happen. A few minutes passed before a glassy-eyed Hikari appeared. She came to a stop in the middle of the crossroad of paths in the park, waiting for something to come.
"Hikari-san." Kazuhiko hissed, Yu clamping an hand on his friend's shoulder to stop him before shaking his head as he whispered back "You know no harm comes to them, Kaz. It's best there not be a chance for her to get hurt when we fight the damn thing."
Kazuhiko scowled before nodding in understanding, the pair focusing back on what was going on as a large green, red and yellow dragon made out of leaves, bark and vines appeared. The dragon's vines wrapped around Hikari's body before two other vines with suction cup-like ends attached themselves to her breasts.
"...Perverted plant." Koneko muttered with a frown.
The plant dragon seemed to continue sucking from Hikari's breasts before the cups popped off her chest, the vines unwinding themselved from around her body as she turned to walk back the way she came.
"Let's take care of this thing." Rias spoke, emerging from the foliage and taking a defiant stance against the plant dragon as the others came out. Rias was the first to attack, firing a blast of her [Power of Destruction] at it striking it full on in the chest. The plant dragon roared in pain as its body started to regenerate. Several other low level attacks struck the body of the plant dragon only for its injuries to regenerate soon after.
"Watch out!" Yu and Kazuhiko called as dozens of vines launched towards them, everyone attempting to evade from them.
"Kyaa!" Rias cried as she was grabbed by the vines, Akeno soon being plucked out of the air as well. Akeno let out a sexual moan as the vines wrapped tightly over her body. Kazuhiko, Seraphina and Ravel burned away at the vines before Astrid and Koneko got caught by others. Yu, Xenovia and Kiba slashed away at other vines while Mittelt and Kalawarner fired spears or arrows of light at the plant dragon.
"Try and distract the vines." Kazuhiko suggested, getting nods as he shot forwards with a burst of speed. [Sky Flames] around both of his hands strengthened as he threw a punch towards the main body, Kazuhiko's eyes going wide as Akeno was put in front of him as he forced himself to stop.
The plant dragon acted quickly to bind Kazuhiko, [Storm Flames] soon flaring over his hands before two large suction cups ended vines consumed his arms. Kazuhiko tried to flare his flames larger only to realise that the vines were sucking out his magic.
"Leli-HM!" Kazuhiko started only to be interrupted by another suction cup ended vine slammed onto his face, covering his mouth and nose. Kiba was soon caught after him as a vine caught his ankle and hosited him into the air upside down.
"Don't worry Kazu-sempai. I'll help you." Mittelt called as she dove with a light sword, Koneko being used like a club by the plant dragon as it swung the white haired girl at the blonde fallen angel. The moment the two hit each other, the vines around Koneko slackened enough to catch Mittelt in their grasp before tightening so that the two lolis were squashed against each other.
"Ow!" Mittelt moaned in pain, Koneko trying to wiggle out as she glared at the plant dragon, Xenovia was caught next as low level holy sword Matsu had given her to use was ripped from her hands as they were bound above her head and she was further vines stuck her to Kazuhiko's side.
Seraphina charged forwards with Kalawarner diving to both help free the others only for vines to crash out of the ground and catch both the bluenette and Yu while Kalawarner was caught by the very branches of the trees that seemed to come to life.
"Kyaa!" Ravel cried as she was caught by the vines, having strayed too close to them to avoid those that had burst from the ground. She struggled as did the rest of the group as they tried to get free, Ravel's eyes landing on Kazuhiko who was spread eagle in the air before recalling her training with him.
'Focus, Ravel. Kazuhiko-sama helped you learn how to use your new flames.' She thought to herself, closing her eyes to focus as suction cups moved to cover each girl's chest. Her eyes snapped open within moments as her whole body was covered in icy blue [Cold Fire] flames. As the Phenex heiress concentrated, the blue flames travelled along the vines before hitting the main body and started to freeze the plant monster's body.
"Astrid help her!" Seraphina called out to the blonde dragon, Astrid nodding as she managed to create a icy blue magic circle underneath the plant dragon and force the temperature to drop further as Ravel's blue flames travelled up the vines that held the others.
"They aren't hurting us..." Rias spoke surprised at the fact the blue flames were only freezing the vines as Yu chuckled as he retorted "Kaz taught you the [Purple Flare] to help you learn how to use intent in your flames, Ravel-chan."
Ravel nodded embarrassed as her breathing became laboured at the amount of magic she was using, Koneko breaking out of the frozen vines first before the others followed suit. Kazuhiko took the time to regain his breathe after the vines had tried to stop him from breathing before moving over to support a teetering Ravel against his side as he praised "Amazing job there Ravel-chan."
"Thank you, Kazuhiko-sama." Ravel replied with a blush before drifting unconscious, Kazuhiko picking her up to avoid her hurting herself as Seraphina and Kalawarner both smiled in amusement as the brunet turned to Astrid as well as he added "Thanks for helping her out as well."
Astrid nodded embarrassed as Koneko finished shattering the plant dragon, Rias and Akeno helping her with their magic before turning back to the others as the redhead spoke "Let's head back now."

Author's Notes
Here's the next chapter. Will admit had a bit of trouble with what to put in this chapter to end this arc although stuff like Griselda's training of Kazuhiko and Ravel's training. I think I've explained each holy flame's reasoning well and making how he chose them seem natural. From here, I figure Kiba will start either using swords like Kanshou and Bakuya at times he doesn't use the holy-demonic sword or take some inspiration for more swords to use from some other series. Rias I'm not sure whether to have her develop in a fighting style like from the Megaman NT series or another character that would work with her Power of Destruction or develop her powers more in line with how Sirzechs has been seen to fight.
