"Honor's Blood"

Ten hours later, with the Enterprise-A and the Jacqueline Dorsey back on course for Earth, the officer at Operations reported, "Captain, Nova-class starship approaching. 100,000 kilometers off forward bow and closing."

"Slow to impulse power," Kirk ordered. The view on the viewscreen changed as the Enterprise-A and Jacqueline Dorsey came out of warp. The second Nova-class starship came out of warp. "Identification codes identify the approaching ship as the USS Everett, a vessel attached to the Department of Temporal Investigations," the OPS officer said. "The Everett is hailing us," Fleur said. "On screen, Fleur," Kirk said.

"Enterprise-A, this is the Federation starship Everett, Captain Claudia Alisov commanding," the officer on the viewscreen said. "Captain Alisov, I am Captain James T. Kirk of the Federation starship Enterprise NCC-1701-A," Kirk said. "Your passengers are preparing for transport. Recommend one suite of quarters be prepared for Klingon needs."

"Acknowledged, Captain Kirk. We will be ready to receive Commander Granger, Ambassador Potter and Commander Kruge in fifteen minutes. Alisov, out," Alisov said before she disappeared from the Enterprise-A's viewscreen and was replaced by the growing sight of the Everett's forward hull.

Fifteen minutes later, Kirk stood in the transporter room and watched as Harry, Hermione and Kruge walked into the transporter room. Each had knapsacks slung over their shoulders. "Harry, Hermione, I wish you both fair winds and following seas," Kirk said before shaking Harry and Hermione's hands.

He then turned to Kruge. "Kruge, we first met at a time when our peoples were on the verge at war," Kirk began. "However, in the last few days, I have come to understand how alike we are deep down inside us. I now realize I respect you more than I had before we met face to face on Genesis all those years ago."

Kirk then touched his left hand to his right shoulder and uttered the Klingon sendoff, "Q'apla!" Kruge returned both the gesture and the sendoff before he, Harry and Hermione stepped onto the transporter platform.

"USS Everett ready for transport," the transporter operator said. "Energize," Kirk said. Harry, Hermione and Kruge dissolved.

Aboard USS Everett NCC-72392

Transporter Room 3

Harry, Hermione and Kruge resolved onto the Everett's own reception pad. "Commander Granger, Ambassador Potter, Commander Kruge, welcome aboard the Everett. I am Claudia Alisov, commanding officer of the Everett," Alisov said. "Alisov to Bridge. Set course for KF101093-A, maximum warp." "Aye, sir," a voice from the Bridge said.

"While we head to the Guardian's World, I'll escort you three to your quarters so you can drop off your gear before we head to the mess hall so that we can discuss the mission you three will be going on," Alisov said. "This way, please." Harry, Hermione and Kruge followed Alisov out of the transporter room.

Captain's Log, Stardate 58020.3.

The Everett is entering standard orbit of the homeworld of the Guardian of Forever. Our three special passengers have been granted permission to travel through the Guardian of Forever in order to correct the temporal incident that affected the relationship between Ambassador Potter and Commander Granger.

Alisov, Harry, Hermione and Kruge resolved from the transporter to see a gigantic bird-like alien. "Hello again, Aleek-Om, old friend," Alisov said. "Hello again, Claudia," Aleek-Om said. "I presume these are your priority passengers."

"Yes," Alisov said. "These are Lieutenant Commander Hermione Granger, Ambassador Harold Potter and Commander Kruge of the Imperial Klingon Defense Force." Hermione gestured for Kruge to explain the purpose of their mission into the Guardian.

"A being of unknown purpose has altered history and prevented Ambassador Potter and Commander Granger from their rightful romantic relationship," Kruge said. "In learning of this dishonor against her person, Commander Granger has declared a blood oath against the being responsible for this action and the persons who benefited from this action. Ambassador Potter and I have pledged our blades to this matter."

"I see," Aleek-Om said. He turned to a nearby Starfleet officer and chattered in his avian language. "The security field over the Guardian of Forever has been removed. You may proceed on your quest whenever you are ready."

"Thank you," Harry said as he, Hermione and Kruge moved off.

Harry, Hermione and Kruge stopped in front of the Guardian. "Guardian, do you hear me?" Hermione asked. "I hear all," the Guardian said. "We wish to travel back to the planet Gamma Germanicus VII in the Gamma Quadrant, five Federation Standard years past, or more specifically seven hours before my petrifaction at the hand of Tom Riddle's basilisk," Hermione said. "Location: the Gryffindor Quidditch team dressing tent at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."

Images of the locations swirled in the portal before them. "The time and place are ready to receive you," the Guardian said. "Let's go on three," Harry said. "One...two...three!"

At that cue, Harry, Hermione and Kruge jumped into the Guardian's swirling time vortex.

Gryffindor House Quidditch Team Dressing Tent

Harry, Hermione and Kruge appeared from out of nowhere in the darkened Gryffindor House Team dressing tent. "We must let Riddle's basilisk petrify me," Hermione said. "That event leads both you to admit your love for me and Ron to contact Molly about the situation. That must indeed happen in order to draw out the entity that convinces Molly to start dosing us to the point that you, Harry, wind up with Ginny and me with Ron."

"My Lady, I have an idea," Kruge said. "What is it, Kruge?" Hermione asked. "Your wizarding bank, Gringotts, might have some way to get around this situation," Kruge said. "You mentioned on the Everett, Harry, that you had suspicions that important documents related to your parents may have some way to get the House of Weasley off your back once and for all."

"And there is also Peter Pettigrew to deal with," Kruge continued. "Scabbers!" Harry said. "If we can capture Scabbers, we can prove that Sirius was innocent all along!" "Then let's make capturing Scabbers our number 2 priority," Hermione said. "Let's go."

Harry, Hermione and Kruge got under Harry's invisibility cloak and crept out of the dressing tent.
