When Karan opened her eyes she was no longer in front of Madara and Itachi. She was no longer in the tower and it wasn't raining so she knew she was no longer in Amegakure.

"Kai." Karan said sitting up before noticing he was knocked out next to her. "Kaien!"

She walked over and started checking him to see if he was hurt and that's when she saw the cracked crystal in his hand.

"Karan?" he said as he started waking up and looking around. "Where are we?"

"I don't know. Is that what I think it is?" She said looking at his hand.

"Uh… I didn't break it." Kaien said.

"You took it?" She said.

"Yeah I just thought…" he started.

"Kaien!" Karan shouted.

"I'm sorry I just didn't think Madara should have it." He said.

"So you stole it?" She said.

"He stole it first… I think." Kaien said.

"Did you even know what that thing was?" Karan said. "Look around how did we even get here?"

"Uh…" he said standing up to look around before looking at the crystal in his hand. "It used to be pink."

"What?" Karan said.

"The stone crystal thing… it was pink and now it's not." Kaien said. "It's cracked too."

Suddenly there was a really loud sound and the earth started shaking knocking them both down.

"What was that?" Kaien said. "It sounded like a growl."

"I don't know but I think we have bigger problems than a crack." Karan said before they heard the same growl as before but louder and closer.

"Run." Kaien told his sister before they ran as fast as they could.

And they did for as long as they could stopping at the top of a tree branch. That's when they heard it. A loud cry.

"Chain it down!" Someone said.

"Ahhh!" Someone screamed. It sounded like a child before there was a loud crash.

Kaien and Karan activated their Sharingan before moving closer.

"Please." A strange creature begged. The twins couldn't see it clearly

"Shut up." One of the men said hitting it with a club. Karan was going to run towards him but Kaien held her back shaking his head.

"Help! They're over running us at the line." Another said.

"Shit. Throw the net over it that'll keep it down until we get back." The man with the club said. "Move!"

Two of them threw the net and them places rocks over it to hold it down before they jumped up into the branches and headed away from them in a hurry.

"Come on." Karan said pulling Kaien with her as they jumped down from the tree.

"They're not far from here." He said. "We could set a trap…"

"There's too many of them." Karan said.

"We can take them." Kaien said.

"We got lucky last time." She said looking around trying to find.

"We kicked their butts." He said.

"Because we took them by surprise and they underestimated us." Karan said repeating what Itachi had told them.

"So we do it again." He said.

"Sh." Karan said.

"We can set the wire traps there and…" kaien continued.

"Be quiet." Karan said.

"What are you doing?" Kaien whispered as Karan finally spotted the net held down by stones.

"Help me." She said starting to move the stones off the net. Kaien quickly helped his sister move the stoned and lifted up the net.

"There's metal threads in this rope." Kaien said as Karan spotted the creature underneath. It was almost their size with white scaled skin and blue spikes along it's back. It had a long tail and wings.

"Hi there." Karan said as she gently put her hand on it's neck. The small lizard whimpered and the twins noticed one of it's wings and legs was hurt.

"It's hurt." Kaien said.

"Yeah, Those guys must've done it." Karan said taking a deep breath. "Keep watch."

"Karan what are you doing?" Kaien asked.

"I read about it in a book and I tried it once on a bird." Karan said putting her hands on the wound and concentrating as hard as she could. He hand started glowing and the Lizard whimpered again. "Sh… it's okay."

Slowly the wounds started healing until they were completely gone.

"Ah…" Karan fell forward panting. "That was a lot of chakra."

"Y-you…" The lizard said.

"You can talk?" Kaien said.

"Of course I can talk." It said.

"The lizard's talking." Kaien told his sister.

"I heard him." Karan said. "Are you okay?"

"You healed me." It said.

"Hai." She said. "Those men who hurt you, who were they?"

"Slayers. They hate us." It said.

"Who's us?" Kaien asked.

"My family, other dragons." It said.

"Dragons?" The twins said at the same time.

"Dragons aren't real." Kaien said.

"Well they are here." Karan said standing up. "We should go. They're going to come back soon."

"Go the other way from where we came." He said.

"Wait, what are your names?" It said.

"Uchiha Kaien." Kaien said.

"Uchiha Karan." Karan said.

"You're called Uchiha and Uchiha?" the dragon said confused.

"No idiot, that's our family name." Kaien said.

"Don't call him an idiot," Karan said. "He's Kaien my brother, I'm Karan."

"I'm Sora." Sora said.

"Nice to meet you Sora, Stay safe." Karan said before starting to walk away except the young dragon followed after them.

"Where are you going?" Sora asked.

"We don't know?" Kaien said.

"We'll find somewhere." Karan said.

"Follow me, I know where to go." Sora said.

"Really?" Kaien asked.

"Follow me." Sora said flying off.

"Oi wait up." Karan said as they jumped up after him.

They ran for what seemed like hours before Sora led them to a cave.

"This is good." Kaien said.

"Oh this isn't it. Follow me." Sora said as he went deeper into the cave. Karan and Kaien stayed close to each other not knowing what they were walking into. They both had their Sharingan on in case something came towards them/ They went deeper into the cave where there was another opening. They walked through and they were in a forest of tall red wood trees. And dragons flew through the sky all in different colors and sizes.

"Whoa…" Kaien said.

"This is your home?" Karan asked.

"Uhuh." Sora said. "Come on, oba-chan is going to want to meet you."

They followed Sora and everyone stared at them as they walked towards a clearing. Bigger dragons pushing smaller dragons behind them.

"Ba-chan… I'm back!" Sora called back.

"Sora?" a huge silver dragon said.

"Ba-chan!" Sora cheered jumping up tackling the dragon.

"Sora why did you bring these… humans here." She sneered.

"UH… hi." Karan said.

"They're my new friends." Sora said.

"Friends?" Another said. "They're kind kill us and hunt us for sport."

"We didn't even know dragons were real." Kaien said.

"Wait these two are different." Another tall dark blue dragon said.

"Humans are all the same." The other black dragon said.

"Look at their eyes." The blue dragon said. "Their red."

The twins quickly shut off their sharingan.

"It's gone." The silver dragon said.

"They're different." The blue dragon said. "What are your names children?"

"Kaien." Kaien said.

"Karan." Karan said and the blue dragon leaned forward and smelled them.

"You are not of this world." He said.

"We don't know where we are. We were fighting with someone and then Kaien had this crystal that started glowing and we woke up in a field." She explained.

"Here, I still have it." Kaien said taking it out of his pocket.

"Is that…" The silver dragon asked and everyone started whispering something.

"It's an ascendant." The blue dragon said. "It looks just like the heart of Kandrakar but it's been lost of centuries."

"That's what they called it." Kaien said. "It was pink but when we woke up in that field it looked like this."

"All the energy it's collected was released." The blue one said. "It brought you here."

"Where is here?" Karan asked.

"Kandrakar." The blue one said. "Our world, you come from another."

"They saved me from the slayers." Sora said. "She healed my wings and arm."

"How?" The silver one said.

"I-I use medical ninjutsu." Karan said.

"You can control your chakra." The blue one said.

"We both can." Kaien said.

"They're not slayers." The blue one said. "They're magicians."

"Uh Shinobi actually." Kaien said.

"We're training to be." Karan corrected.

"They're not our enemies." The blue one said. "They're children, gifted children."

"Can they stay with us ba-chan?" Sora asked. "They don't have anywhere else to go."

"Of course sweetheart." The silver dragon giving the twins a gentle smile. "I'm sure you're all very hungry."

At that moment the twins stomachs started growling.

"Come along you three." The silver dragon said.

"Yes ma'am." The twins said following after them.

20 Years Later in Kandrakar… Seven Years in the Land of Five Great Nations Later

"Shit!" Karan screamed as she and Kaien fell from the sky and fell into a lake.

"Uh…" Kaien groaned as he swam up to the surface and pulled himself up. "Karan?"

"I'm okay." She said doing the same.

"Did it work?" He asked. "I don't remember falling last time."

"We were knocked out last time." Karan said looking at her hand. The crystal was clear. "We're not in Kandrakar anymore."

"How do you know?" he asked and Karan tossed him the crystal. "It sent us somewhere."

"Let's find a town or village, figure out where we are." She said.

"Then we find…" Kaien started.

"No then we come up with a plan." Karan said.

"We have a plan first we look then we find." Kaien said.

"And where would we start looking?" She said. "We need to figure out where we are and if we are back we find someone to help us."

"You want to ask Madara for help?" Kaien asked.

"No… I was thinking we find Itachi Sensei." Karan said.

"It's been twenty years, you think he actually remembers us?" Kaien said. "He probably thinks we're dead."

"Well we're not so he's in for a big surprise." Karan said combing her wet hair out of her face and fixing her necklace.

"Mhmmm." Kaien groaned grasping his left arm.

"Ah… good to know the linking still work." She said rubbing her arm too.

"So Sensei?" Kaien asked.

"He's our best bet." Karan said. "We know he won't try to kill us the instant he sees us."

"We're not kids anymore, I'm not dying that easily." He said as they walked across the lake.
