AN: Hey everyone just wanted to check in and thank everyone who's been reading this. I wasn't;t to sure about posting but I just got the urge to write and went for it. I would really like to hear what you guys think so please feel free to leave a comment. Thank you, enjoy.

Karan spent the rest of the day reading Make Out Paradise. It wasn't overly graphic there was actually a fair amount of plot in the story and the character development was on pair with the imagery of the more… adult scenes.

"That jerk!" Karan said looking up from the book as she was halfway through it. "Did he really…"

"Keep reading." Kakashi said not looking up from his. He was genuinely surprised to see she enjoyed the story as much as he did.

Meanwhile Yamato and Naruto who were both taking a break just stared at them a bit freaked out.

'There's two of them now.' Yamato thought as they watched.

'Kakashi Sensei turned Karan Sensei into a pervert.' Naruto a bit creeped out.

About an Hour Later…

"Aww…" Karan said as she finished a touching romance scene between the two leads.

Half an Hour Later…

"Hehe." Karan giggled as she read a very passionate and detailed scene.

"I think I get why Kakashi Sensei wears a mask now. It's so we don't have to see him make faces like that." Naruto said to one of his clones.

"Uhuh." The clones answered.

"I heard that." Karan called from across the field sitting up and glaring daggers with her Sharingan making Naruto shriek. Karan chuckled and went back to reading.

It didn't take long after that for Karan to finish reading the book.

"That was good." Karan said.

"Finished already?" Kakashi asked not looking away from his book.

"Yeah and just in time to head back." Karan said handing him back the book.

"Uh…" Yamato groaned as he fell on his side panting while Naruto who was still on the wooden bridge next to the waterfall released all of his clones collapsing.

"I think someone hit his limit for the day." Karan said.

"Hm." Kakashi said.

"See you guys tomorrow." Karan said shunshining away. She made a quick stop at the library and returning the book she borrowed. She walked through the village enjoying the liveliness and seeing people out and about without any fear of being attacked. She saw a couple of kids running around with their parents behind them.

She got home and made dinner sitting down to eat feeling… lonely. Karan couldn't remember the last time she had spent any time truly alone. She bit her finger and summoned Sora.

"Hey everything okay?" Sora asked immediately on alert.

"Yeah just thought you might need a break from Midori and everything." She said.

"Did you make dinner?" He asked looking at the food she had spread out on the table.

"I'm used to cooking for a horde of dragons." She said.

"Is that Yakitori?" Sora said digging right in.

Karan sat down and took her time.

"So what did you do with your day off?" Sora asked.

"I read a book." Karan answered.

"That's it?" He said.

"You said to relax, so I relaxed." She said.

"I thought you might go out, look around this place… seems like there's a lot to do." Sora said.

"I also have a target on my back." Karan said. "Konoha may seem like a safe place but appearances can be deceiving. Itachi warned us for a reason."

"You regret not going with Kaien?" Sora asked.

"Of course not. Madara can't be trusted." Karan said. "I never thought I'd say this but I miss the battlefield. Everything's straightforward. The people next to you are on your side and the ones on the other side are the ones you need to watch out for. Here… Everyone has their own agenda. It's politics and spying…"

"Well not everyone… the kid, his sensei and the woodstyle user even the loudmouth from earlier." Sora said.

"So you trust them?" Karan asked.

"I trust that I can take them out if they ever try anything against you." Sora said. "And up until now they've done nothing but help you. Maybe you should give them a chance."

"Guess you're right." She said.

The Following Morning…

Karan was just about to head out when her neighbor popped her head out.

"Oh Karan-kun." The elderly Hisa said.

"Good morning Hisa-oba-chan." Karan said not used to honorifics. No one else seemed to use them.

"I was actually about to ask if you would join me for some tea." She said.

"Oh I…" Karan started.

"It's the least I can do after you helped me the other day." Hisa said.

"There's no need." Karan said.

"I insist, I even made cookies. Just took them out of the oven. Come." She said ushering Karan in. For someone who appeared to be a frail woman she had a death grip.

Karan headed inside and drank tea. She ended up enjoying the conversation a lot more than she expected. Apparently Hisa was a shinobi back in her day. She retired when she got married and opened up a small tea and bakery after her husband died to provide for her children who were merchants in the Land of Tea.

By the time the old lady let Karan go it was almost lunch. So Karan went back to her apartment and packed lunch for everyone before heading to the training field.

Naruto was still working on cutting the waterfall and Kakashi was still in his spot reading his book while Yamato was still working on suppressing the Kyubi's chakra.

"Hey." Karan said as she appeared in the field. "Sorry I'm late my neighbor invited me over for tea and wouldn't take no for an answer."

"Looks like you're starting to rub off on her Kakashi." Yamato said.

"Hm?" Karan and Kakashi said at the same time.

"Anyway I brought you guys lunch. Figured you'd probably want a break from ration bars." Karan said as she stretched out.

"Lunch!" Naruto said jumping over.

"Just whipped up something really quick. Sorry if I packed too much food in there I'm used to cooking for a horde of dragons." Karan said.

"You made this?" Naruto said with a weird look.

"Yeah," Karan said taking a deep breath before summoning Sora.

"You're late." Sora said.

"Not that late." She said. "What are we doing?"

"Sparing." Sora said tossing a silver cuff to Karan.

"You're kidding." Karan said looking up at him.

"You're faster than Kaien and you have better chakra control but if it comes down to hand to hand combat he's stronger and he'll win. If we can improve and you can learn to take a hit it'll be an even fight." Sora said.

"Yeah but this?" Karan said.

"It's this or you start using it." Sora said with a knowing look.

"You're a sadist." Karan said snapping it on. "Don't kill me, you know I'm a lot more breakable than you."

"Yeah Yeah." Sora said snapping a cuff onto his wrist. "There now we're even."

With that they went at each other.

And while they were a lot slower without chakra they weren't pulling any of their punches. Karan avoided most of Sora's hits and used his strength against him. She even managed to knock him down once before he used his tail and harshly slammed it against her chest knocking the air out of her and throwing her into the waterfall.

Karan sank down and struggled to swim up to the edge. When she got there she pulled herself up just enough so she wouldn't sink and started coughing.

"I think I over did it." Sora said.

"No… shit." Karan coughed before flipping herself onto her back as she panted trying to breathe.

"Did I break anything?" He said.

"Don't think so." Karan said yanking the cuff off. "Just knocked the air out of me."

She started healing herself checking her injuries.

Bruised sternum but luckily not cracked.

Once it was healed she fell back completely exhausted.

"You want to get up?" Sora asked.

"No I think I'm just going to lay here for a bit… It's actually really comfy" Karan said before passing out.

"I guess you've earned a break." Sora said picking her up with his tail and putting her on his back

"Is she okay?" Yamato asked.

"She's fine. She lasted a lot longer than I thought she would." Sora said setting Karan down against a tree. "I'll wake her up in five minutes for ninjutsu practice."

Five Minutes Later…

"WAKE UP!" Sora roared in her ear making her wake up with a gasp. "Oh good you're up."

"Another round?" Karan groaned stretching a bit.

"Ninjutsu practice." He said.

"Great." She said getting up and went at it again. "And just so you know you're carrying me home."

"Sure we can fly." Sora smirked.

Karan activated her Sharingan and quickly formed handsigns before concentrating chakra in her right hand pushing gusts of wind around her fingers. She quickly swiped them towards Sora who quickly moved out of the way.

"Futon: Razor Winds." Karan said as she sliced down the trees around Sora down as he dodged them.

"Can you at least wait for me to take off the cuff?" Sora said.

"Oh you still had that on? I had no idea." Karan said with a smirk.

"You asked for it." Sora said quickly forming handsigns Karan read immediately and quickly formed her own.

"Suiton: Water Dragon Jutsu!" Sora said pulling a giant water dragon out of the waterfall.

"Doton: Earth Dragon Jutsu!" Karan called out at the same time. The dragon formed out from under her and she ran up the dragon's back before somersaulting onto the head and being launched up in the air just as the two dragons slammed into each other.

"Sloppy." Sora said watching as the earth dragon crumbled easily. Sora waited for the wave to clear to see where Karan had washed up but didn't see her until she saw a shadow. "What the…"

"Raiton: Thunder God's Bolt!" Karan called out holding one hand out in front of her with her palm facing down before slamming her other hand on top of her hard releasing an extremely loud clap as a bolt of lightning dropped down on Sora.

"Ah!" Sora cried out as the bolt came down on him. There was a bright light and a huge earth rattling blast Karan ungracefully rolled onto the ground as she dropped from the sky.

She was panting as the dust cleared revealing an unscathed Sora Cloaked in chakra.

"Woah…" Naruto said observing the fight with wide eyes.

"How did he block it?" Yamato asked as he noticed Kakashi watching the fight with his Sharingan uncovered.

"He cloaked himself in wind chakra completely blocking the attack." Kakashi said.

"You actually used it." Sora said looking over at Karan who was panting.

"Used up a lot of Chakra." Kakashi said.

"You didn't really give me a choice." Karan said struggling to stay up.

"Then I think you know why I have to do this." Sora said forming handsigns and he starting inhaling huge amounts of air. "Inu, tora, tatsu…"

"No!" Karan said quickly shunshining as she formed handsigns. As soon as she was in range Sora swung his tail and again Karan used the momentum to push herself up in the air releasing her breath, "Katon Phoenix flower Jutsu!"

The fire did nothing and the shuriken in the fire just wrapped around his neck. Karan pulled on the wires attached to slam him head down on the ground.

"Futon…" Sora started before Karan looked directly into his eyes with the Sharingan activated.

"Sleep!" She said quickly and just like that he immediately stopped fighting and completely collapsed on the ground.

Karan stood infront of him slowly releasing the summoning so he could go home

"That was awesome." Naruto said.

"The amount of chakra needed to pull that lightning jutsu off alone was massive." Yamato thought out loud. "How is she still standing?"

Kakashi looked over and noticed she hadn't moved and then he saw her knees start to buckle. He quickly moved and caught her. Karan was completely exhausted and passed out.

'Looks like someone's spending a few days in the hospital.' Kakashi mused. 'She's going to fit in fine.'
