Ladybug and Chat Noir were out of action. Carapace remembered his job perfectly, when he wanted to Chat Noir was very threatening. This akuma had wounded Ladybug, it looked like a young, unburned Freddy Krueger. It had used its knife-hands-claws-weapon to stab Ladybug in the leg, blood flowed all over the the roof in the pouring rain. Carapace could never forget the look on Chat Noir's face, clenched teeth and lightning striking every time he stared at Scythe. Scythe was wearing a black cloak, his eyes, gloves, shoes, hips and shoulders were dabbed with green. On his left hand was his foot long knife fingers, in his right was a thick, black iron bar, about 2 metres tall.

At the tip there was a green, curved blade, omitting black smoke with occasional green dots. He seemed to have an aura of dark energy, an extremely powerful akuma. Chat went to check on Ladybug when Scythe scratched his back, three, bloody, lines formed across his entire back, certainly leaving a scar. Chat looked at Ladybug, who had just lost consciousness. He took off her earrings, he already knew her identity, but he made sure Carapace wasn't looking. Chat made his best efforts to stand up, once Carapace had used his shell to bash Scythe off the building he faced Chat Noir.

"Once I get Ladybug to hospital I will come back."

"I won't be able to defeat this thing on my own."

"I know, that's why," He handed him the earrings, "If you manage to get the best of it you'll need to capture it before it roams free."

"I've never used two miraculous before, besides if you two failed and you are the best heroes Paris has ever seen."

"We couldn't protect ourselves and perform long range offence at the same time, unify this with your miraculous. Good luck Carapace."

"Get her to safety. Please be back soon."

Carapace put on the earrings and Tikki appeared, "Carapace? What happened to Ladybug?"

"She's just out of action, I need your powers to help me defeat Scythe. What do I do?"

"Say Tikki, Wayzz, Unify. Your powers and mine should combine."

"Thanks Tikki. Wayzz, Tikki Unify!"

His shield changed, it had a circular hole in the back of it. Ladybug's yo-yo coiled at his side and his costume became so much cooler.

"Weak heroes. They left the turtle to do their bidding." Scythe charged at Carapace but he blocked it, he yo-yoed at his legs and Scythe fell. Going for his face, his shell came down only to be blocked by a metal bar. He wrapped the yo-yo around the bar and swung himself round and round, the wind screeched as the weapon made it's way through the air. The hooded figure raised his hand and it teleported back to his hand, "Oh come on! Lucky Charm!"

A similar looking weapon only with a colour scheme of red and green fell into his hands, Carapace smiled. "Hell yeah, you're in for a beating dude!"

The two clashed at each other, each offence was blocked and each defence met an attack. Until Carapace pulled something tricky, he started to use the Scythe as if it was a sword or saber of some sort. Using his attacks against him, the villain copied the weird style. Carapace went for his left leg, Scythe went to block when Carapace changed targets last minuted, sticking his weapon through the villains legs, moving it upward, and pulling it towards him. Scythe summersaulted lading on his chest to be met with a shell to the back, which should've broken any mortal's spine in two.

Scythe laughed, stood back up and disarmed Carapace while he was to busy admiring his so-to-be-achievement, and vaulted the lucky charm off the building onto another. "Not cool dude! Shellter!"

Carapace trapped himself in a hamster ball and began to chase around the villain, of all things this scared him the most somehow. Sharp weapons, possible poison, smoke, magic? Absolutely fine. Idiot laughing in a green hamster ball? Freaky as hell.

Scythe retreated to another building and picked up Carapace's Scythe, "Oh no."

He smiled and launched himself onto the top of the ball and began stabbing the forcefield, eventually, the ball cracked, then shattered. Out of pure frustration, put the end of the yo-yo into the weird shield hole and began to attack. He swung his shell so quickly even the villain could barely see his movements, Carapace did some gymnastics moves and made an upward angle from the akuma's knees. The yo-yo wrapped around his body, securing his legs and arms together, only to be knocked unconscious by the end of the yo-yo, a turtle shell.

Carapace went to brake the akuma in his Scythe when he woke up and sliced his hand, it opened and bled like crazy, Scythe stretched the yo-yo off of him and threw the Lucky Charm directly at the turtle-themed-hero. Only for it to be deflected by a cat-themed-hero with a metal pole as a weapon. The akuma made this strange grunting noise; it was clear he wasn't too happy about Chat Noir returning. Carapace went high and Chat went low, with his shell in hand, Carapace charged for the villain's face. Scythe used his weapon to block that attack only for Chat Noir's to finally defeat him. "Cataclysm!" The Scythe turned to dust and the akuma flew out, Carapace captured it using Ladybug's yo-yo, picked up his Lucky Charm and threw it into the air. "Miraculous TurtleBug!"

Everything returned to normal except for the wounds on the hero, Chat still felt worried for Ladybug, hoping she would be saved thanks to miracle magic, Carapace's hand was still open and bleeding, and although they didn't know it, 2 doctors were watching as Ladybug's wound didn't automatically fix itself, but healed at such a rapid rate you could see it close up and develop a scar.

"Good job Nino, you truely impressed me this time. The entirety of Paris thanks you, including Ladybug and I."

"That means a lot dude, feel free to say that every mission."

The two burst into fits of laughter, "Only the special ones Nino, I'll be needing the Turtle and Ladybug back this time."

"Of course," Nino took off the earrings and the bracelet, "Here you go."

"I gotta run, see you again soon Nino."

"See you later dude, take care of Ladybug."

The two went their seperate ways and Nino was so proud of himself of completing his first solo mission he didn't even think about Alya's reaction when he saw her next.

"YOU GOT TO USE THE LADYBUG MIRACULOUS?!"

"Not so loud Alya, we don't want the entire school knowing that."

"Why did Ladybug give it to you first instead of me! I was the first hero besides the two of them to be chosen! Why you! You don't even realise how much this means!"

"Why does it mean so much? It's just a miraculous."

"Say that to literally anyone else in Paris, including Ladybug and Chat Noir and they'll probably hit you. Lucky I'm so nice to you."

"Overjoyed about that, what would you do if you were in my shoes?"

"Take off the turtle miraculous then detransform with the Ladybug and interview her kwami of course!"

"You do realise Chat Noir would just rip the earrings out of your ears."

"On that note, how'd you even get them in? You don't have piercings."

"Actually, I don't know. Magic I guess?"

"Still can't believe they gave you a solo mission before me."

"Let's face the honest truth, I'm the better hero."

Alya stared at her boyfriend intensely, not blinking once. Nino began to sweat, overrun with fear he ran out of the locker room and into the school yard, screaming "Get the school nurse! Before I die!"

"You take that back, Nino!"

Every witness burst into laughter, even Nino and Alya stopped to let out a slight laugh.
