Hey Guys, MegaSalamence 64 here, I'm back with another one shot story staring the Dads of Super Smash brothers (Bowser, Chrom, Terry and in this series Pikachu)

IF you're expecting a story where people act drunk and weird after one too many shots of alcohol, sorry to say this but no, this is NOT that type of story.

Continuity wise, this story takes place before Heirs to the Throne (Because of a line Chrom will be bringing up in this story) and after the Fishing competition story that was mentioned in that story.

"I have to admit Chrom, you put up a pretty good fight today." Pikachu answered to the Prince of Ylisse sitting next to him as he drank his mug of frothy hot chocolate while doing so. "After facing both your wife and daughter during the fourth tourney, I didn't expect you to pull some good moves during the today's match."

"Well Pikachu, I can see why considered one of the toughest smashers back in the day*," Chrom answered back with a small chuckle as he looked back at the small electric mouse he's sitting with while sipping his own hot chocolate. "So how's things with you, Libre and Pichu?"

"Well save for Libre trying to beat K Rool and Incineroar on her own and Pichu trying out her latest scam and prank, we're fine right now." Pikachu answered back about how his wife and daughter are doing right now to his fellow parent. "So how are both Robin and Lucina right now?"

"Well the three of us are fine right now," Chrom answered back to Pikachu's question on how is his family when he then noticed a look of concern on the latter's face. "Why do you ask?"

Pikachu then looked back in silence, his face was showing some reluctance at what he wanted to bring up right now.

"It's a long story, but is Lucina alright now" He questioned as a dark memory of Chrom's time traveling daughter somehow going feral recently and attacking him and Pichu tries to resurface once more. "Any signs of that feral or draconic behavior she's been showing lately?"

"Fortunately no," Chrom answered back as he then noticed a bite mark on Pikachu's tail. A grim look appearing on his face the more he looked at.

Despite looking like his bite mark looking like it caused by a dragon, the source of where it came from was not from any other animal or Pokémon but rather from a human's.

Unfortunatly, The human whom did this was Lucina during the fishing competiton that she, her father, Pikachu and Pichu competed in recently with Bowser, Junior, King Dedede and Bandana Dee.

When Lucina suddenly attack Pichu, Pikachu defended his daughter from her arm as the Ylissean princess suddenly attacked her like a vicious Sharpedo smelling blood as her teeth briefly becoming draconic fangs when she bit her fellow smasher.

Upon returning back to her senses, Lucina was understandably worried and upset when she learnt about that she attacked Pichu and Pikachu in an animalistic way and how she has no control over herself as well.

While she and Pikachu are on speaking terms at the moment, Pikachu was more reluctant to have her watch his daughter out of fear that her feral behavior will trigger once more.

"So I take that your still worried about what happened the other day right?" Chrom questioned back to Pikachu as he took one more glance at the bite mark where his daughter bit the latter's tail.

"…Yes I am Chrom." Pikachu answered back as his expression was still locked in it's grim look. "Even if Lucina's current draconic traits are not occurring right now, we don't have a clear way to know when they will strike next."

"You have a good point there, Pikachu," Chrom answered back to his fellow parent. "Me and Robin are planning to check an old Mii witch doctor that Tiki told me recently to find out what's wrong with her."

"Well that's a start." Pikachu answered back as he then realized something that he wanted to bring up recently. "Hey Chrom, Are Robin and Lucina suffering from nightmares recently?"

"Lucina yes, Robin, Not so much." The Blue haired Prince answered back with a puzzled look on his face about Pikachu's question, "Why do you ask?"

"Well Agumon's been suffering from Nightmares regarding Dharkon, and the Machindramon that he, Pichu, Mewtwo and Lucas fought in the dark realm." Pikachu answered back as he recalled Agumon waking up in the middle of the night due to continuous bad dreams of the two monsters." The Mouse Pokémon answered back with a concern look on his face. "I was wondering whether you and your family are also suffering the same thing."

Chrom's face then turned slient as he recalled the problems his family was facing right now.

While he was fortunate to be saved from Galeem's control by Bowser and Pikachu, Robin and Lucina aren't as lucky when Dharkon rose to power.

It was hard for the young prince to see the bodiless souls of his sisters, son, surrogated babysitter/uncle figure** and his allies after he was free from Galeem's clutches but it was the equivalent of torture to be forced to see his wife and daughter taken from him once more as the master of darkness seized control of them and the other smashers not rescued yet as he fled to his own domain.

His own personal kingdom of chaos and destruction he calls the Dark Realm to be more precise.

Chrom was soon in for a further world of hurt when he saw Lucina corrupted into Dharkon's second in command as well as Grima possessing Robin like her counterpart whom gave into him from their daughter's original timeline.

While he and the other smashers were able to save them both, the damage that Dharkon did to his daughter has not completely healed yet.

Especially the form that she and Shulk took during the whole incident, A dark draconic form that was almost like Grima….

Especially with some last words Galeem has mentioned to him and Robin regarding their daughter before her destruction: 'Do you really want to keep your draconic fell blood of an offspring once she realized her true destiny as Dharkon's emissary? You both will regret it down the line when she goes down the path her heart truly desires…'

'Lucina's still have doubts regarding her mixed heritage even after Robin's sacrifice to end Grima….' Chrom thought to himself as he recalled his daughter still having doubts regarding the fell blood she and her brother inherited from their mother. 'Sometimes she admits of hearing Grima's voice in her sleep just after his death at Robin's hands…..'

(Takes places sometime after Robin return back to Ylisse and her family.)

"Oh there you are Lucina," Chrom said to his future daughter as she sat down in the gardens of the castleyards during a cooling midsummer night. "I was wondering where you are."

"Father, I was just taking looking at the stars right now, that's all." Lucina answered back to her father as he soon approached her. "I just need some time to myself right now."

"Well, There must be something else that's bothering you right?" Chrom questioned his time traveling daughter as he then walked towards her. "You're still feeling guilty about what happened with you and your mother when Validar stole the emblem right?"

Silence then crashed down onto Lucina's mind as she heard her mother and the day her grandfather took control of her, taking the Fire Emblem in the process as well.

When Lucina found out about this, She then realized whom killed her father and kick started the events of her bad future.

Desperate to prevent the Fell Dragon from reviving once more and rendering her attempt to fix things by traveling to back the past mute,, Lucina then attempted to murder her mother to prevent her from being controlled by the man who is her grandfather.

However, the Young Princess was not expecting her mother to accept death as long as it was by her own daughter's hands. Knowing that she would be free from the guilt of harming her family by her father.

Due to her love for her mother and the fact that it may be the last time she may ever see her smile or voice should she do it with Morgan's existence at stake as well, Lucina ultimately chose not to kill her mother, a decision that will continued to haunt her even after the deaths of Validar and Grima.

Even after Robin returned afterwards, Lucina have a hard time approaching her in fear of the aftermath of the matricide attempt. Unable to even look at her in the eyes without backing away unless their both in the same room with Chrom and Morgan.

"It's not just about what happened between me and Mother right now Father." Said Lucina in a grief driven tone as she looked back at her left hand. "There is something I want to as well."

Chrom then looked into his daughter's simmering blue eyes, they were filled with gulit and fear, It was as if she was worried about what she was about to say.

Lucina then peeled off the glove covering her right hand, Showing something she been hiding from her father.

To Chrom's surprise and shock, Embedded on the dorsum of his daughter's left hand was a purple six-eye mark on two intertwining branches.

It was the mark of Grima that Robin once bare on her left hand. It was fortunately gone when she returned to the realm of the living after Grima's death.

"Lucina, is that the mark of Grima?" Chrom shouted in shock at seeing the brand that marks the person whom will become Grima's vessel. "Is that why you're avoiding your mother lately."

"Yes father, it is…." She answered back to him with a grim tone as tears started falling down her eyes. "It's not just that, It's Grima…. even after his death, I still hear his voice in my nightmares."

"When did this first occur?" Chrom questioned back as he then sat down next to his daughter with his concerned face still plastered on it.

"It…. It… occurred the nights after Grima was killed by Mother's hand." Lucina answered back in a fearful tone as she tried to fight off the tears rolling down her checks. "No matter how much I tried, He will say that a part of him still lives on in me and Morgan."

Knowing that his daughter's was still going through guilt over the attempted matricide, Chrom then patted her on the head as he then gave a comforting smile.

"Don't worry about it Lucina," Said the young exalt as he looked back at his grief stricken daughter. "Grima's gone, the mark should be harmless now without him so you, Morgan and Robin are safe from him."

"Thank you father." She answered back while wiping the remaining tears from her face. "Thank you…."

"No problem," Chrom answered back as he then stood up. "I'm off to bed now, Are you ready to come back?"

"No Father, I can go back to my room myself," Lucina answered as she stood as well with her remaining tears wiped off as well. "I will see you tomorrow."

"No problem," Chrom answered back as he took one more look at his daughter before exiting the gardens. "Good Night Lucina."

"Good night Father." Lucina answered back as she walked towards her room after one more glance at her father. "Good night."

As Chrom soon walked down the hallways down the castle, one thing was on his mind,

And that was his daughter's personal doubts regarding her mixed heritage and the fellblood inside of her.

Despite his attempts at trying to comfort her about the fact that Grima's death by her mother's hands means Grima is gone for good and the fell mark on her left hand is harmless, Lucina still felt a sense of worry and fear regarding her mixed heritage.

While it was fortunate that the invite for the Sm4sh tournament helped Lucina and Robin's relationship return back to normal (Or at least on the level before the attempted matricide) the sapphire haired princess still felt a sense of guilt and burden as while the beast that destroyed her original future was long gone; a part of it still lives on in the fellblood in she and her brother Morgan.

She often worrying that it will causes some problems for she and her younger brother down the line. (Which it did in the form of Dharkon's interest in her besides her better attempts at resisting his rival's control and his need for his own champion to counter her's which was Shulk.)

"So, I take that you're still worried about that draconic form of hers?" Pikachu questioned to him as he then snapped out of his train of thought.

"Sadly yes," The blue haired prince answered back with a worried look on his face. "I think I understand why Lucina was so worried about her fell blood even after Grima's defeat."

"I know that feeling too Chrom." Pikachu answered back as he recalled during the final battle with Galeem and Dharkon, The two eldritch deities were able to temporary take control of their second in commands duties once more and turn them against the smashers that were fighting them, Even turning back into their draconic forms*** as well to fight against the others.

The young couple would have once again fallen to the control of the two gods of light and darkness had the rest of the Smashers haven't shown up in time to break the latter's control over them.

"Before you and Robin came, Me, Samus, Mario, Isabelle and the others were practically on the defensive from all four of them." Pikachu answered back as he took a deep breath. "Trust me, facing Galeem, Dharkon, Shulk and Lucina in their Draconic forms was one of the toughest things I faced, probably even rivaling the time me and the others faced both Tabuu and the Master core during the Brawl and Sm4sh tourney."

"Trust me Chrom, Being stuck in that generator during the subspace incident is something I don't want to go through again." Pikachu finished off his sentence as he quickly banished the memories of being captured by the subspace army and by extension, being used as their power source for a while. "Some things are just harder to wash off when you remember them in the worst way possible."

"Well that's understandable, Even if it's been a long time since her sacrifice, witnessing Emmeryn's suicide was my greatest regert…." Chrom answered back as he quickly stopped his train of thought from remembering his older sister's death to prevent Gangrel from obtaining the Fire Emblem. "But she's right that we need it more then him…"

"True about that Chrom." Pikachu answered back with a smile as he held up his mug of hot chocolate and continued to drink it. "Well shall we get go-"

"Well, If it aren't the king of dorks and his sidekick Mr. overprotective, Here having a pity party?" A nearby voice interrupted what Pikachu was about to say as nearby as he and Chrom then turned around to see whom it was form.

The duo then saw Bowser and Terry sitting next to them as the former was already having his trademark smirk out like a loaded pistol readied to be fired.

"Oh hello Terry, Hello…. Bowser." Pikachu said to the duo, slight venom forming in his tone as he mentioned the Koopa King's name. "It's a pleasure meeting you as well."

"Having a little Boo-Boo you two?" Bowser sneered back at his fellow fathers while scorfing down his extra spicy drumstick topped off with chill flakes. "Can't wipe off the scars of what happened during the world of light?"

"Knock it off Bowser." Terry answered back with a glare towards the latter as he then looked back at the duo, "So I take that something bothering you about the world of light incident?"

"Yeah, it is." Pikachu answered back with a frown on his face. "But it's something that bothering me and Chrom right now."

"Still bothered by the Fishing competition we took part in with Dedede?" Bowser questioned back at Pikachu and Chrom as his sneer grew more malicious at the duo. "Or are you still embarrassed by how Lucina practically attacked you both and Pichu like a shark the other day?"

"Oh zip it Bowser," Pikachu snarled back as he then looked back at Terry. "On an unrelated note Terry, how's Rocky**** lately?"

"Well I did called him to check on how's he doing," The King of Fighters answered back as he looked back at the duo. "He's fine after what happened with Galeem's little laser show stunt."

"That's nice to hear," Chrom answered back to him with a smile. "My own son Morgan is doing well as well."

"Yeah, Yeah, Yeah," Bowser answered back in his typically whatever tone. "Besides you three are ready for a rematch soon on whom the best in combat?"

"How about tomorrow Bowser," Chrom answered back with a firm tone. "Then we shall settle the score."

"…Fine," Bowser answered back as he then resumed to eating his drumstick. "But mark my words Chrom, you're eating MY dust tomorrow!"

"We'll see about that." Chrom answered back as he then resumed to drinking his hot chocolate with Pikachu and Terry doing the same as well with their drinks.

The rest of the meal was nothing much other then finishing off their food and drinks as the four fathers soon left the room, unaware of the small dragon wearing a hood and googles watching them.

"So this is the father of Dharkon's emissary," the dragon said to himself as he observed Chrom as he and Pikachu left the cafeteria. "Interesting..."

"I just hope he and his wife knows about the part of Dharkon inside of their daughter soon..." Was the last thing the dragon mentioned before dissipating into data particles. "Along with the fact that her lover has a part of Galeem in him as well..."

*Is Pikachu top tier in the Smash 64 era? Just curious if that's was the case.

**Yeah Fredrick may be serving Chrom, Lissa and Emmeryn's Father he was still alive so he may as well be the former's two surrogated uncle figure before they meet Robin.

***Inspired by the endgame portion of Sub-Atomic Grape's Blood of Dragon Fanfic. once again, check it out when you get the chance, It's a good Chrobin AU of Awakening's story.

****Rocky is more or less Pikachu's nickname for Terry's Rock to differentiate Mega Man from him.

Author's note:

While this story is mostly Chrom and Pikachu focused, We got some moments from Bowser and Terry at the end.

Yeah more mentioning of Angsty Lucina, Yeah some bits are inspired by Rie Sonomura's Stories but mine is more towards her mixed heritage and the fear of her becoming just as much of a monster like Grima.

Also apologies if the flashback scene took up a large chuck of this story but I do want to explore more of how Lucina took the whole matricide attempt.

Also minor headcanon is that Lucina have a hard time interacting with F!Robin(If she's her mother) after Grima's Defeat due to the matricide attempt. Yeah I felt like both of them getting invited to smash was a god way to rebuild their relationship as daughter and mother in the process.)

TBH, Is it funny that I see Bowser being the Pete to Chrom's Goofy? (Pikachu will be the Donald to the two if our favorite duck with anger issues was a character in Goof Troop with his nephews.) I think Kira Vera's Parent swap comics staring the former two; their kids and Robin did make me think of that.

One thing is how this story will play into the overarching storyline of the Deluxe verse, Think how Smg4 did it in his story arcs, Some stories may be more plot driven but others may just be small nods that foreshadow the bigger moments.

Yes Hackmon appears once again. but remember this takes place before Heirs to the Throne so he haven't saw Lucina yet.
