Takachi wasn't sure the large apes were violent until she had to dodge a large fist. Seeing the cloaked figures rush forward. Takachi put her hands up in imitation of a boxer, the rest of her group getting into their own fighting stances.
Goggles and Jamaica fought against the majority of the apes. Goggles blocking their attacks with his snowboard and Jamaica thrashing them with a ski pole. A perfect storm of teamwork.
The Tri colored jacket trio fought back to back, relying on each other to watch their backs while they were surrounded by four apes.
Takachi herself was fighting a single ape, but she was fighting mano a mano. So she figured her fight evened out with the other team's. The ape barreled toward her and she barely dodged.
Magic was out of the picture with the mountain climber group in sight, not that she could afford to take her attention from the fight so she could create something. She kept her hands up and when it once again barreled past her she launched a right hook at it.
The right hook hit it's target but bounced off harmlessly. 'There goes plan A, here's to coming up with plan B." She thought while dashing side to side to avoid the over grown monkeys' brutish attacks.
She took a moment to assess her opponent. Standing ten feet tall on two feet and muscled to the max. There was no way she'd be able to get into close combat nor was it a good idea. She'd be demolished in moments.
That left her with long ranged combat, but she wasn't strong enough to throw anything hard enough to know her enemy off balance. That left her with only one way to win.
With that in mind she threw herself onto the ground, sliding towards the ape at near terminal velocity. She didn't know she managed to knock over the ape till she felt it's legs give way to her as she collided turtle shell style.
After hitting the ape and then the wall she knew she'd have bruises for weeks. Her head hurt enough on it's own, but despite her swimming vision, there were so many fish, she staggered up. Swaying as she walked. In the part of her vision that wasn't black she saw the ape, which was discombobulated.
Her legs gave way once she was next to the ape, forcing her arms to move she lifted the apes head and slammed it down on the ice. Making sure it wouldn't be getting back up anytime soon. Takachi caught her breath as she laid down on the ice.

It was just a few minutes later when the others had finished off their opponents, and were now heading towards Takachi. Seeing this, pulled herself up.
"You alright?" She said after assessing her group. All in all the only injuries were on the apes.
"Yeah, you?" Jamaica said, who Takachi and everyone else considered the leader. It was a valid question, seeing as Takachi was a kid.
"I'm fine." Takachi said.
"Good because we have till sundown to reach the peak." Jamaica said, as she started on the snowy bends. Everyone followed suit, trudging through the snow. Well Takachi was trudging, everyone else was fine.

The top of the mountain was divine in it's own right. Towering over all fiore, just 15 degrees below zero. The highest point held a flag. Takachi realising that it was the only obvious clue, approached.
The flag itself had a picture of the mountain. Takachi inspected the flagpole and checked to see if it was hollow, no dice. She once again looked at the flag, carefully inspecting it. The mountain had a cave on it. So did that mean she needed to search an ice cave?
"You uh, know about any ice caves up here?" Takachi asked the person next to her.
"I might, why?" Legendary said. Takachi considered how she should respond.
"Because it's the next step in my hunt for treasure." She said, looking Legendary right in the goggles.
"Well I'm game then." The corners of his face mask creased upwards. " There's a couple caves 50 meters down." He said. Takachi grinned
"...Is it alright if we head there now?" She said.
"Yeah, the others will be setting up for a while." He said.
"For uh, what?" Takachi said, and Legendary chuckled.
"You'll see." He said, starting towards the ledge before pausing. "You coming?"
"Uh yeah." She jogged for a moment to catch up. They proceeded to ski and sled down the accompanying slope. Legendary skiing and her sliding down on her large pack, good thing it was glacially dynamic.
The slope was riddled with moguls and with how fast she was going Takachi thought she was going to die for sure. She didn't though, instead she was speeding towards the next ledge where she'd have to disembark, somehow. That didn't stop Legendary from handling the run like a pro.
She could tell she was fastly approaching it. It could be identified by the large shadow the mountain cast over it. Takachi would have perfered to jump ship when she reached it, but she'd also have to keep her pack for obvious reasons.
When the moment dawned she leaned heavily to one side, trying to turn. That however, didn't work. Coming up with plan B, she dug the heels of her semi-flat bottomed boots into the snow.
That slowed her significantly. With another lean-to-the-side and with her hands clenched on the straps of her snow covered bag, she topoled to the side. What would have previously caused a life threatening injury, only caused an increase in soreness.
She stayed in the snow a moment before she pulled herself into a sitting position. "Nice job with the brakes." Legendary idly commented. He was like an awesome sidekick, partner in crime, adventure buddy. Nothing more nothing less.
"It's harder than it looks, uh you know." Takachi said.
"Never said it wasn't." He said, offering a hand up. Takachi, bruises still forming, accepted. After Takachi put her backpack back on they approached the cave's apparent entrance
"So this is it, huh?"
