"Sarah! I have something for you, my beautiful Queen..." Jareth trailed on as he saw his gorgeous Sarah come through the door to their throne room.
"Oh, what is it, my love? If it's another dress, I'll be sure to-"
"Now, now, my dear. It is more than some dress. I want you to know that this is made of the finest jewels of all the land. My land, our land!" Jareth cut her off as he pulled a dazzling gold necklace with the biggest gems and stones anyone has ever seen.
He had a soft spot for women like Sarah. Just Sarah herself. She was marvelous, stunningly beautiful, and talented. Perfect to be Queen of the Goblins. He knew he found everything he was searching for and more when he was called by her two years ago to take her annoying, bratty half-brother away from her. She was finally his. He finally convinced her that he was the one for her, that no one else would treat her like he did. He used to run his kingdom with malice and hatred, but now with pride and joy. His love changed him in a way no one else could. It was like she understood him more than anyone else, and him her.
"Oh my goodness, Jareth! My love, I mustn't take this from you! It's far too much, I'm not worth this!"
"My wife, my exquisite wife, please, take this as it is a symbol of my love for you. Please, turn around. Let me put it on you, let me see your glory with it on."
Sarah smiled softly and turned around and her king tread towards her, necklace in hand.
He slowly and carefully brought his hands around her neck and fastened the necklace around her collar. He then walked back in front of her, eyeing her bust.
His eyes softened and he beamed at her.
"Sarah, you look as wonderful as ever. My dear, I wish you could see yourself now! Go! Look in the mirror, it suits you very well."
Sarah graciously strode over to their mirror by their thrones. She paused three feet away and her hand moved slowly and passionately to her right collarbone and gasped.
"Jareth, this really is too much. I can't possibly keep this!" She frowned, "But you must have spent so much for it... I-I..." She stuttered.
Never before had she ever had a man treat her so lovingly. Never in her life had she been this happy.
She sighed as Jareth made his way to her. He stood behind her, towering over her. He caressed her hips and laid his chin on her shoulder. Sarah turned her head and her lips met his.
Jareth turned her around completely and wrapped his arms around her waist and held her gently in his arms.
Sarah pulled away and held his biceps. She looked into his eyes. She felt so much love and admiration for him. More than she ever though possible. She knew he truly loved her.
Jareth look down soon her soft face. He lifted a hand and touched her cheek with several fingers, then pulled her into his chest tightly. Now that he had her, he never wanted to let her go.
