"You fiend!" Sarah shouted as she swung her sword at Jareth.

Jareth jumped back and swiftly moved his sword in front of him. Their blades clashed as they laughed together. Messing around with his old swords.

Jareth still didn't trust her quite yet with a real sharpened sword but she was still happy and having a blast.

"Now, now, Precious. Be careful or you'll actually do some damage!" Jareth lunged at her as he pulled his sword back and jabbed at Sarah. She giggled and dodged the blow to the right as she swung again. Jareth, again, blocked her attack.

"My, my, little lady, you sure know how to put up a fight!"

Sarah paused with her sword still up, "Oh, I'll show you a fight!" She lunged again swinging her blade back and forth. Jareth only backed up and held his tightly in his hand.

"Sarah, calm down, my love!" Jareth exclaimed chuckled. "Let's take a break now, you clearly know what you're doing."

Him and Sarah sat on the grass together, with their weapons next to them.

They stared on at the beautiful sunset. It had been three hours since they ate supper. They were full and content.

They sat in silence for several minutes. Sarah felt extremely awkward.

"Is it bad that I miss my family?" Sarah asked.

Jareth turned to her, a frown on his face. "I have given you everything you have ever wanted, Precious. How can you possibly be upset?" He lifted his hand to her cheek and a tear rolled down her face.

"No, no... no..." Jareth spoke softly and he brushed her tears away, "My dear, please, don't be upset. You have me! Please, consider this, for me?"

Sarah looked up at him and more tear spilled from her eyes. She blubbered in anguish.

Jareth calmly took her in his arms and laid his head on hers and began to sing,

"I saw my baby,

Crying hard as babe could cry,

What could I do?

My baby's love had gone,

And left my baby blue,

No body knew!

What kind of magic spell to use?

Slime and snails?

Or puppy dog tails?

Thunder or lighting?

Then baby said,

Dance,

Magic dance.

Dance,

Magic dance.

Dance,

Magic dance.

Dance,

Magic dance.

Put that baby's spell on me!

Jump,

Magic jump.

Jump,

Magic jump.

Jump,

Magic jump

Jump,

Magic jump..."

He looked back down at Sarah and smiled at her. She smiled back and threw her arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her in close.

"Please, never ever be upset when you have me, Precious."

In that moment her kissed her, long and soft. Sarah pulled away as red as ever.

"Jareth, I-I..."

"Please, just give me a chance. Give us a chance."

Sarah simply nodded and buried her head in his chest. She was very tired after a long day with the Goblin King himself. Jareth knew she was and carefully picked her up to carry her to bed.
