Sarah kept running, far, far away from the Goblin Kong's castle. She ran through the goblin village and out into the forest.

She came across a small pond and picked up a rock and threw it into the pond with a shriek of rage and complete sadness.

"You'll scare the birds away! Careful now!"

Sarah turned around to see a goblin close behind her. She jumped back in shock.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm just really upset."

"Now, now, dearie, it's ok. What are ye upset about?" The goblin calmly asked.

"Oh, it's nothing, really."

"It must be somethin' makin' ye do such things."

"Well, I guess I can tell you..." Sarah started, "I wished my baby half-brother away by the Goblin King and he actually came. He offered to take the baby away if in return I 'feared him, loved him, and did as he said'. So I took the bait. My brother was turned into a goblin and I lived with Jareth. He tried to propose to me but I refused and he became angry. Later I told him I would marry him and he got angry again, telling me I didn't mean it..."

"Oh, honey, what have ye gotten yeself into? The Goblin King is a horrible ruler-"

"He is not!" Sarah interjected, "He loves his kingdom and rules as best as he can!"

"Ye don't understand, little lady. He kicks us around, forces us to do his bidding... and what to we get in return? Nothing but maggoty old bread when he gets to live his luxurious life in his castle, that's what!" The goblin retorted, angrier than ever.

"You don't know him like I do! He's charming and handsome and caring... he's so loving! He gave me my own room and all kinds of clothes! He told me he loved me!"

"Eh, that's just his act. He doesn't know what love is..."

"But he does! Everyone does!" Sarah tried reasoning with the goblin, then she realized what was happening. She was defending him. Even after all that he had done.

She slumped to her knees, she was scared alone and hungry. Oh she was so hungry...

"I need shelter, and food. Anything to eat."

"I might just have a little somethin..." The goblin reached into her bag and pulled out a peach.

Sarah took it from the goblin and bit into it, chewed, and swallowed.

"Hey, this tastes funny!" She exclaimed. But it was too late.

She felt her head spinning. She was drugged and she couldn't do anything about it. She stumbled to a tree and gripped it for support and she felt her world spinning around her.
