Jareth paced his halls, his long, black cape flowing behind him. He was nervous. Very nervous.

It had been a week since him and Sarah made love. He wanted to show her just how much he loved and cared about her, but how? He had already given her so much...

He turned to see Sarah watching him. He smiled. Sarah smiled back. She ran to him and they embraced each other.

He finally knew what to give her.

He picked her up in his arms. Sarah giggled and held onto him tightly.

"My dearest, Sarah. I have something for you. Let me show you."

"What? What more could you possibly give me?"

"Oh, you will see, Precious."

Sarah laughed and pecked him on the cheek. Jareth carried her through the halls and out the doors of the castle and into the garden. He set her down and raised his arm, motioning to the garden.

"Sarah, this is all yours. Every single tree, flower, and bush has your name on it."

Sarah gasped and tackle hugged him. They both fell to the ground laughing. Jareth began to tickle Sarah and she started giggling even harder. She squirmed.

"J-Jareth! Stop... knock it off!" She demanded in between breaths and giggles.

"Now, I can't do that, Precious." He continued to tickle her sides while laughing too. When he felt Sarah had enough, he stopped and just held onto her. He sighed. He couldn't believe he had finally found true happiness in the 1,300 years he had been alive.

"I love you, Sarah."

"I love you too, Jareth. And thank you, for everything."

Jareth smiled down at her, "Of course, my love. Anything for you. Everything you have ever wanted, I can give."

He pulled out the ring from his shirt. Ever since Sarah ran away, he kept it with him.

Sarah gasped again. Jareth didn't even have time to start his speech.

"Yes, Jareth! My god, yes!"

"Well, then, now that that is settled when should the wedding be?"

"Maybe in several months, like five or six? We need time to plan everything and-"

"I was thinking maybe tomorrow."

Sarah's eyes widened, "What?! B-but there's so little time to get a dress, find where we are actually going to be wed at, hell, where are we going to have the reception?" She grabbed at his shirt.

"Sarah, Sarah, we will figure that out. We have plenty of time!"

And with that he kissed her. Sarah pulled away quickly and looked down. Jareth gently put his hand under her chin and lifted her head.

"Sweetheart, it will be okay. I know you want our wedding to be perfect, but I want you to be my queen as soon as possible. Just think about the coronation!"

Sarah's heart dropped. Queen? Now? She just couldn't be a queen!

"Sarah, Precious... Is something wrong?"

"I just can't possibly be a queen, Jareth! Just look at me! I'm just a normal girl. I'm not royal or regal! I have no talents, or any special things about me!"

Jareth stopped her before she could continue, "Darling, it's okay to fear about becoming a queen, but what is not okay is to belittle yourself that way. You are beautiful, and you do have talents. You just can't see that."

Sarah looked up at him with tears in her eyes. Jareth's heart sank, for he hated seeing her this way. He held her in his arms. He just didn't want to say the wrong thing.

"Sarah, I think you would make a great queen, I can just feel it."

"You really think that?"

"I really do, Precious. I truly do."

Sarah sniffed and a tear slid down her cheek. Jareth quickly wiped it away and kissed her cheek where it was.

Sarah buried her head into his chest and he rubbed her back trying his best to comfort her.

"Please don't think that this is because I don't want to be with you, I'm just so scared." She started to cry again.

"Sarah, you have nothing to be scared of. Pease, don't cry."

Sarah wiped away her tears, "You know what? Fine. I'll do it. We'll have our wedding tomorrow, and then my coronation right after!"

Jareth couldn't believe her words or the sudden mood change. He was very pleased though

"Then what are we waiting for, darling? We have a wedding to plan!"

"And a coronation!" Sarah added.
