Hello there! I got bored today and didn't have anything to do due to a UK holiday and ended up writing this fluff..
I wrote this with in 45 minutes, so heads up for any typos or errors and advance sorry.

Sue was preparing a romantic date for Sean and her. She still can't believe that she and Sean are dating; like a couple. It was like yesterday, her childhood crush came running from the air-port; actually he was driving, but come on its more romantic when you put it that way. She was again having a inner battle with her mind. It has been a few days since Sean has returned home, so both have decided to spend a lazy Saturday night at Sue and Lexi's apartment as Lexi was out of town and spending the weekend with her parents. Brad has kept her company and was out for the day allowing more room for Sue and Sean to have much needed time to talk.
It was already 5.30pm and Sean and she planned the date at 6.30pm. She had to get her self pretty as she did not look pretty with flour all over her body. She knew she was not the best cook in the kitchen, but she did not expect to be messy around the kitchen. If her mom saw her like this, she sure would ban Sue from the kitchen duties for another century.
Sue looked around the kitchen to see her dinner, she wanted to make some Thai food, but she never knew it was so hard to understand the recipes that were on internet. Then her second option was to make some Indian dishes, yet she ended up with some spaghetti and meat loaf; one of Heck's famous dishes and was decent enough to not keep them starving. At least her famous chocolate brownie with Oreo is in the oven.
She can't believe that she has spent the entire afternoon preparing the dinner, but managed to cook nothing especial for them. Sue sighed and checked the timer; she still had 15 minutes to get ready. She took her apron off and went to the wash room to get ready.

Sean was a bit nervous for their date as it was the second date where Sue and he would be alone. They have been having coffee dates and lunch dates with Axel and Lexi, but not like this, with only two of them. He looked at the white Lillis, Sue loved them, and true she loved almost everything, but she tends to get more excited when someone does something only for her. Especially, if that is coming from someone close to her.
Finally, he reached his destination. He knocked, but no answer, so he waited for some time allowing the other person to get the door. But, after a while without any answer he knocked again. Then he heard some cursing and he started to get a burning smell. Then the door opened only to welcome buy a very strong burning smell and a huge smoke coming from the oven.
"Oh my god! What happened here" he asked in a worried tone.
"Hey, this, was supposed to be our dessert for the night" Sue said in a disappointed tone.
He looked around the kitchen to see she had made some spaghetti and meatloaf. He felt butterflies on his stomach. She has tried to bake and to make something for him. He half expected her to order some take-outs; other half expected something especial like that. He walked over and looked at the girl who is looking at the baked tray with the edges are almost black, but the middle layer looks decent.
He put his hand on her waist and turned her towards him and gives a light kiss on her forehead.
"Hey its ok." He tried to reason with her. But she sighed and hugged him.
"I am a disaster when it comes to cooking" she started to whine. He chuckled. Even during a disastrous situation she makes him smile.
"Well I don't think your effort is all wasted, we still have your spaghetti and meatloaf and you know I love Mrs. Heck's signature dinner at your place" Sean said while walking towards the kitchen island.
"I mean it will be like our good old days. I used to stay at your place playing videos games with Axle and you are sneaking around to get my attention all." He smiled while taking the brownie tray.
Sue waited, while Sean grabbed a knife and cut the edges, and then he opened the fridge and took their chocolate sauce. Then he cuts small pieces and adds some extra chocolate sauce on to a bowl. Sue's eyes went wide, it looks perfect. But, not like a perfect restaurant quality, yet it looks better for something that got burnt.
"See I told you, it is a nice dinner. So, Miss. Heck would you do me the honours of joining me for dinner?" He asked.
She ginned and took small steps to him and gave him quick peck on his lips. "Thank you Sean, you always know how to make me smile. Even during something like this" She said.
"Thank you. Now come on. I am starving" He said while grabbing the chair to have their peaceful dinner at last.
They had a long way to go; this was only the start of something precious and very especial for both of them.
