A/N: It's time for Anakin to talk to the council about what he's just found. But will that be the beginning of the end of the war, or the end of the beginning of something much, much worse? Only time (and I) will tell.

Anakin sprinted up the steps to the temple, chips in his pocket and communicator in hand. Massively out of breath, he tried calling the Council.

"Come on, pick up, pick up!" he shouted, "Of all the times… Well, guess I'm just gonna have to barge on in." He reached the turbolift a minute or so later, and began furiously pressing the up button in a vain attempt to make it arrive faster. Once inside, he hit the button to reach the council floor, and waited, checking his pockets to ensure he hadn't dropped anything important.

Finally, the turbolift reached the top floor, and the doors opened. Anakin stepped out and power walked the final few feet to the High Council Chamber, and upon reaching the massive double doors, he tried calling the Council again. When that failed, he commed Obi-wan's personal frequency. After about a minute, Obi-wan picked up. "Anakin, I am in the middle of a meeting, so this had better be important." he said, clearly annoyed.

"Can you open the door?" Anakin asked, "It'll be easier to explain if I can show it."

Obi-wan sighed. "Alright, fine, but if this does not affect the Republic or the galaxy as a whole, I will pull you off the battlefield for an entire month when we next deploy."

With that, the heavy doors slid open and Anakin, still incredibly out of breath from sprinting through most of the Senatorial sector, stepped into the Council Chamber.

Anakin could see that at best the Council was apathetic to his presence, and at worst, extremely annoyed, in particular Mace Windu and Obi-wan. Windu said, an uncharacteristic anger in his voice, "Knight Skywalker, explain what in the Force is going on that you decided to interrupt a High Council meeting. Now."

Anakin jumped, before reaching into his pocket and pulling out the inhibitor chips for the Council to see. "It has to do with these," he said, "they're in every clone. And they're extremely dangerous."

"What sort of danger are we talking about here?" Windu asked, not convinced.

"Wiping out the Jedi levels of danger." Anakin responded, "Widespread mind control and slavery. There's all that in these and more."

"And you're sure it's the chips?" Windu asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Tup's malfunctioning chip caused him to kill Master Tiplar. I just met with Fives, who was nearly killed after Fox had his chip activated by a certain Lord Sidious."

"A Sith plot, then."

"It's much worse than that, Masters."

"How much worse?"
"The clones managed to subdue Fox before he did something ridiculous, and I checked his comm logs, where I noticed the frequency corresponding to Lord Sidious."

"It matched up with someone important?"

"Yes. I knew that frequency anywhere: It was Chancellor Palpatine's private frequency."

"A bold accusation, Skywalker. How were you so sure?"

"Palpatine comms me fairly frequently on his private frequency; mostly we talk about stuff like the war effort and whatnot. After I saw the frequency logged in Fox's comm, I checked my own comm to make sure I wasn't seeing things. I wasn't."

"Well then. I commend your efforts in locating Sidious. But are you sure these chips are capable of everything you've heard of?"

In response, Anakin took out a datapad and connected Fives' and Tup's chips. Looking through them, he found a section labelled "Contingency Orders 1-150." Scrolling through them, he noticed a discrepancy between Fives and Tup. "This is the internal description of Order 66, which appears to have activated in Tup: All Jedi are to be considered traitors to the Republic and are to be terminated with extreme prejudice. Use whatever force is necessary."

All the other Jedi were horrified. A collective What in the Force… passed through their minds.

"Here's the one that triggered in Fox, Order 92: All dissenters, rebels, and mutinying troopers are to be considered traitors and are to be terminated with extreme prejudice. Use whatever force is necessary." Anakin said.

In response, Yoda cleared his throat. "Adjourned, this meeting is. Destroy Sidious, we must. Have support, do you, Skywalker?"

Anakin nodded. "I've got the 501st and 65th meeting me at the steps of the temple. The 212th might be with them as well; I think we all know how close mine and Master Kenobi's units are."

Yoda nodded. "Settled then, it is. Masters Windu, Fisto, and Kenobi, accompany Skywalker and the clones you must. Kill Sidious, you must."

"Yes Master Yoda." was the reply, and everyone rushed out of the Council chamber. They had a Sith Lord to kill.

A/N: We won't be getting to the battle with Palpatine just yet; the clone perspective will be up next. But how exactly will that go down? Stay tuned for that!
