Ace sometime wondered why Luffy always slept beside him, his little brother sneaked up to his room and begged him could the both of them sleep together. Well Ace didn't bother much but it just their parents won't let Luffy because he's already 10 and old enough to be sleeping alone.
"Why do you always want to sleep with me?" asked the older one.
But every time he asked that, Luffy's answers were either sobbing or just kept quite so Ace let him go. But this curiosity became larger and he finally decided, it's time for his younger brother to practice to sleep alone.
"C'mon Luffy next month you are already eleven, how about this I'll accompany you and when you fell asleep, I'll go to my room?" the young one just sighed and nodded in a defeat, he couldn't hold onto Ace anymore.
So the next night, Ace ordered Luffy to go to his room first and he would follow him later. When he arrived at Luffy's room, he found Luffy already tucked in his blanket and faced him. "Okay brother, time to sleep now," Ace ruffled Luffy's hair
But Luffy just stared at him empty, "Ace?"
"Yeah, is there something wrong?"
The smaller boy was hesitated at first.
"Before I close my eyes can I ask you to check if there's a monster under the bed?"
Ace let a small laugh and agreed to check under his bed, well it's a common thing for children to thought if there's something under it, right? So, he peeked under his younger brother's bed, but when he tried to do it, he was frozen.
"B-brother, please help me, t-there's someone on the bed."
