This chapter I have held off on writing because this is an important chapter. This chapter sets the tone for the rest of the story and I want to make sure I do it right the first time. Please enjoy me struggling to get to the end of this chapter.

King Davidoff hates leaving his castle. The carriage moving his body as he tries to relax. He has waited almost two decades for this day. The day he finally gets his hands on-
"Sir we are approaching soon!" the carriage man shouted over the loud hooves of the horses.
"Very well, make it quick! I hate these carriage rides!" King Davidoff shouted as the carriage hit something hard and was forced to lean forward.
Just a little while longer…
"Miss Chloe! Miss Chloe!" the twins screamed as they barged through my door.
"What is it?" I hissed as they came in completely taking me out of my thoughts.
"Sorry your highness but we thought you should know. King Davidoff is approaching, and it looks like he brought an army with him!" Sandra said with excitement.
"Well of course he would. He is royalty." I said as a matter-of-factly
"Oh, princess you should've seen it!" Rain said with eagerness to show off how King Davidoff's entrance will look.
"I bet he'll step out and have his shoulders squared and rigid. He probably walks like he owns the place." Rain continued walking around with his shoulders squared.
I giggled and watched as Rain came towards me with his hand stretched out.
"My princess I have come to sweep you off your feet and take you away from this dreadful tower. You look so lovely…how old are you again?" Rain said trying to impersonate King Davidoff. I played along having nothing else better to do but wait.
"I am flattered by your offer, but I must say I think I'm too young for you, Your Majesty." I said as I stood up from my seat on the vanity and walked a few steps away from Rain.
"Very well, Your Highness. I will have to take you by force!" he said as he rushed towards me and tried to pick me up.
I laughed as I closed my eyes and I felt Rain but his arms around my legs and my lower back as he attempted to pick me up.
"Damn this corset puts thirty pounds on you." he said as he stopped trying to pick me up.
"No, it's not that. You just have chicken arms." Sandra said with a passive voice.
"What?! Chicken arms?! I'll show you." Rain said as he rushed towards Sandra and tried to pick her up.
I could not stop giggling. The twins just know how to wash my worries away.
Miss Lidia rushed through the halls coming towards King Steven's door.
The guards looked as if they were aloof to her presence.
"Excuse me, I must see the king at once." Miss Lidia said in a hurry.
"What business do you have- "the guard started to say but was interrupted by the king's voice.
"Let her in!" he shouted through the door.
The guards looked surprised as they pushed the door open and Miss Lidia pushed her way through the guards before, they could move aside for her. When the door shut, Miss Lidia started to get nervous.
"Is everything set in place Lidia?" The king said looking as calm and collected as he always does.
"Yes, Your Majesty." she said as she moved closer to the desk the king was occupying.
"What's the issue then?" The king said in a manner that was less than friendly.
Miss Lidia cleared her throat before she spoke.
"I just wanted to know, why didn't you tell her? Why get her all dressed up for this? When are you ever going to be honest- "Miss Lidia was interrupted as the king spoke.
"You will not tell me how to do anything with my daughter Lidia." The king said as he stood up.
"You don't know how to be a father to her. You have hidden her from the world. You robbed her of everything Steven!" Miss Lidia said with anger in her voice. She was too pissed to be formal anymore.
"Remember your place Lidia." The king said softly as he approached her.
"My place and my loyalty have always been with your daughter. That is all, Your Majesty." Miss Lidia said through clenched teeth as she tried to control her temper.
"I understand the predicament that we are in and the last thing we need to be doing is bickering with each other. I just came to get the letter. Do you have it ready?" Miss Lidia asked the king as she stood next to the desk now.
With a great sigh, King Steven stood up and handed her the letter. They met eyes for a moment and Miss Lidia saw tears start to develop.
"Steven, I know." Miss Lidia said as she hugged him.
"I don't want this to happen. I wish I could find another way." The king spoke out loud.
"This is the only way and I will be with her as long as I draw breath from this earth." Miss Lidia said as she pushed back and looked into his eyes.
"I believe you Lidia." The king said as he kissed her forehead.
"I must be going. Please leave the rest to me." Miss Lidia said as she grabbed the letter from Steven's hand.
"If we see each other again, I still don't care for you." Miss Lidia said as she walked towards the door.
"Same here. Open the door!" The king said as the doors were pushed open and Miss Lidia curtsied and bid the king farewell.
"If King Davidoff takes you away, what will happen to the three musketeers?" Sandra said referring to the three of us.
"I don't think he's coming to take me away. I think its some sort of marriage meeting." I said thinking back on the talk I had with my father.
"My father never said whether I was leaving today or not. Besides none of my clothes are packed." I said as I looked at my full wardrobe.
"Well he's not taking you without us. All three of us are a packaged deal." Rain said as he looked determined to stay together.
"Oh Rain, no one would want you." Sandra said with a smirk on her face.
"What?! Yes, someone would want me! Chloe tell her!" Rain pouted.
"Look guys- "I was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in!" I said as I whispered for the twins to get off the bed.
Miss Lidia came in with a serious look on her face.
"Well don't you look delightful, Your Highness." Miss Lidia said with a high pitch in her voice.
"Thank you, Miss Lidia. Are you okay?" I said as I approached her.
"No but I will be." Miss Lidia said as she muttered to the twins to make themselves useful and pour her a glass of water.
She looked me over one more time. She stared as if she was trying to ingrain the picture of me inside her head.
"This was your mother's tiara." She said as she teared up.
"Stop crying, Miss Lidia." I scolded as the twins came with the water.
Miss Lidia gulped it down and slammed the glass so hard on the vanity, I thought the glass might shatter.
"Come, Your Highness. We must go now." She said and walked towards the door and gave the twins a funny look.
"Are you two idiots just going to stand there? I said we must go now!" She snapped at them.
"Yes Ma'am." They said in unison as we stepped down the hallway. I looked back at my room knowing deep down I would not see it again.
Okay I had more planned, but I thought since this is such a big chapter that I would split it into two chapters. I guess you could say this is part one of everything. Please review and favorite and follow. It is the only way I keep writing chapters and getting them out. It is my fuel and without it I don't really have a passion to write as much. Its good to know someone is listening especially when I think so poorly of my writing. Anyway, I cannot wait for you guys to see what's going to happen next. Until net time!
