Chapter 6 – Nick's plan and TenderVille Kids reunion
Two days later, Nick, Chloe and Liam were at the school! Outside the gym, Nick saw a poster advertising a music contest, below it was a notice from the principal that read: 'Due to a budget shortage, we're in jeopardy of losing of our music room and classes. If anyone wants to represent us, please come to the office after school!'
Nick: Well, you and I know how to sing and dance, Liam! If we win, we'll save the music room and the music classes!
Liam: But we haven't performed music in a long time!
Chloe: Do you think it will work?
Nick: It's worth a try!
Later, when the school bell rang, the three friends went to the office door. That's when they saw a boy in a black leathered jacket with blue patches. Nick recognized him!
Nick: Spike? Is that you?
Spike: Nick! Liam! After so many years, I get to see you again!
Just then, a girl and a boy arrived! Nick was surprised!
Nick: Stacey, Melvin! You're here too!
Melvin: Nick! Good to see you again, old friend!
Stacey: It's been a long time since we've seen you!
Then, Liam saw a girl in a teal hoodie!
Liam: Felicity? Is it really you?
Felicity: Liam? (looks into his eyes) It IS you!
Felicity gave her friend a hug!
Felicity: I really missed you!
Liam: I missed you too!
Just then, a kid came through the door! Nick saw the kid and recognized him!
Nick: Is that Dereck! My, my, look how big you're getting!
Dereck: Nick? I remember you! You played the guitar very well! Oh, and who is this pink haired person?
Liam: TenderVille Kids, this is our new friend, Chloe! She moved into town six days ago!
Stacey: Six days ago? Gosh! Anyways, where are you three going?
Nick: To the principal's office! We'll explain why in there!
The eight friends went into the principal's office and Nick and Liam explained how the school is in jeopardy of losing the music room and music classes!
Nick: We're going to ask the principal if we can represent our school in a music contest. If we win, we'll have enough money to save the music room and music classes.
Felicity: I'm in!
Dereck: Count me in as well!
Stacey: Me too!
Melvin: Me three!
Spike: Me four!
Nick: Great to hear that!
Chloe: But, what about Blackmailer Boris? He might try to stop you!
Liam: She does have a point, Nick!
Nick: Don't worry, if he's back, the police will be out looking for him!
That evening, the news quickly spread! Every newspaper read 'TenderVille Kids making a comeback in upcoming music contest!' But what the TenderVille Kids didn't know was that the news even reached Blackmailer Boris.
Boris: Looks like I'm going to get my revenge after all!
