Ch 12
She got to the airport just as his plan landed so she was able to meet Colby by the baggage claim. He saw her standing there and smiled as he saw her in black leggings and a band t-shirt. He walked up to her and give her a hug as he grabbed his bags. She helped him with his backpack, and they walked to her car. She drove them to the hotel so that she can drop him off and let him sleep till they had to leave for the appointment.
"Are you sure I can't just stay at your place?" Colby asked her.
"I'm sure my grandparents have my aunt there right now so there isn't much room in the house for anyone else. I have thought about getting my own place and years ago I did and was always moving around but I needed to come back home and take care of many things. So, I do not have my own place out here just yet. Plus, I figured you needed some much-needed sleep. The appointment isn't until tomorrow at 3pm."
"Yeah I guess I will call you when I wake up and we can hang out. I meant what I said I want to take these few days to really hang out with you and get to be around you more since all of this is happening."
"Yeah that's fine we can find somewhere for dinner later."
He just stared at her and shook his head because it was obvious to him that she was hiding something with how nervous she was acting.
"Okay that's fine with me. I don't like it, but I will do what makes you happy."
She dropped him off then left to get home in enough time for Brayden to get up for school. She smiled at him as he walked into the kitchen from his room. He came up to his mom and hugged her.
"Good morning bud nana made your breakfast and I am going to take you to school today and pick you up afterwards."
"Sounds good mom. Tonight, can we do something just us?"
"I have a friend visiting tonight and most of this weekend, but I can see if they would be willing to hang out with us both how does that sound?"
"is it the baby's father?"
"Yes, it is, and I want you and him to meet because if he stays in the baby life well, he has to accept you too buddy."
"Okay mom."
He walks to the table to eat his breakfast when her phone goes off. She smiled as Jon texted her since he must have still been awake.
How did it go so far? -J
So far, it's been interesting he wants to stay here all weekend and hang out with me, but I put him in the hotel. I told him I can see him later tonight, but I also promised Brayden I would take him. -N
Then let him go. This is the time for you to see how Colby will handle it lotus. -J
Yeah, I get what you're saying mox. I will try to let you know how it goes. But I agree that for Brayden he needs this. And this will tell me how Colby does handle everything and if he is a man of his word and will step up to be a father if not he can step aside and I can be a single mom I have been doing it for years. -N
You should not have to, and you have all of us there to help you if he decides to be stupid. We all love Brayden and we will love this baby too. Just tell me what to do and uncle jon is there. -J

She walks over to Brayden who got ready for school and they walked to her car so that she could take him to school. They always love this time since she went to work for her dad at the wwe. Just the two of them in the car. When she looks over at her son and sees his father's brownish black hair and brown eyes. He looks so much more like him as the days go on and it would make her sad at times because she worries that this baby could be the same way. Could she break her heart all over again by seeing another clone of Colby? Only time would tell her because just like with Brayden she will never give this baby up.
