Chapter 4: Ignition
Sarada has a hard time sleeping. She feels like cracked porcelain. Every time the kids get closer to her, it hurts. It hurts in a way healing does. She would have taken a break from it, just to evacuate. She used to be so put together, but in that situation, she has to face her regrets, her insecurities and what hurt her the most.
And Boruto. Just thinking about him, she feels quite inadequate. He is reliable toward the twins, but also toward her. She's glad that he's a good person. She really is for the kid. But, on the other side, she continues to feel guilty because of how good he is. Would she feel better if he was still mad at her? He doesn't seem to be anymore.
He's definitely a very special man. A bit naive and ingenuous but he surely knows how to take care of others and to listen. She can't be more grateful that he tries to understand her. He's just in the moment, always looking at the bright side. Even in that strange situation, when she is depriving them from their freedom, Boruto lets her have a place in the twins' life. He's way too kind...
When they watched the twins together earlier, it was that they cuddled, but it's Boruto. She just knows that he only means good. And she was guilty of enjoying it, fantasizing that they were a really family. Would she want more? Have physical contact feel great, and it certainly is not the same feeling to touch the toddlers and a man. Scanning her feelings, makes Sarada desirous for more physical contact, but she freezes when memories of their embraces in prison surface. She just wants to bury her head in the pillow and hide. It was embarrassing, now that she knows him. Thank god, he never mentioned it to her.

-« Hey Sarada, how much time do you think we will have to stay here? » asks Boruto.
-« Hard to say. It could be a long time. Like a year. »
-« And what are we gonna do?
-« What do you mean? »
-« Konoha will never stop looking for them, so Haruto and Haruna will never have a normal life. Never meet other kids, never go to school… »
-« Well, they have us. We can teach them, and maybe we can stay at my mom's hospital, they will meet kids there. »
-«... »
-« You know I was raised outside a village, and everything is fine. »
Boruto was not feeling so good this morning, blues got him. His questions were more incisive than he wanted, and he could tell that she honestly does not have answers for him.
-« I just wonder what is ahead for them and what is my place in all this. »
-« I would be lying if I tell you that I know... If you ever want to go back to Konoha just tell me, I can get you out of this. But, I know you will never leave them… »
-« You're right. »
-« I will try to make things right for you, Boruto. I don't want you to feel like a prisoner for the rest of your life. »
…
-« Sarada, comes with me. »
-« I'm coming! I'm getting blankets for you and your sister, first. »
-« Sit with me. »
-« I don't think there is enough space on the couch. »
-« Haruna, go on Daddy's lap. We need a place for Sarada. »
-« Why me? »
-« Don't you want Sarada to sit with us. »
-« Ok, fine. »
The little red-head girl sits on her father's laps and rests her head on his arm. Sarada puts a blanket on her and covers Haruto too.
-« I guess we're ready for the movie. » says Boruto while Sarada sits.
-« Yeah, start it. » answers Haruna.
During the movie, Haruto starts to get closer and closer to Sarada. Time passed and the kids got more and more tired, their eyes started blinking. Haruto cuddles more and more when he gets on Sarada's laps just like her sister was.
-« What are you doing, Haru? » whispers Sarada with a smile.
-« I'm just sleepy, mama. »
He called her «mama», it was the first time. Storm of emotions gets her, mostly she feels just happy. Sarada pets his head. When she sneaks a peek at Boruto, he is already looking at her. He heard too.
-« oh my god » she mouths, touching Boruto's hand.
The blond hides a laugh and holds her hand in his. They look at each other, content, enjoying the moment. They were doing nothing wrong. Sarada looks back at Haruto and kisses his head.
Later, they wake up the kids, brush their teeth and put them to bed.
-« They really love you. »
-« He killed me. I guess I'm a mother. » containing her excitement, but Boruto could feel her.
-« Of course, you are a mother. »
In affection, Boruto just stretches his arms to her hug. He could feel that she wanted to share her burning feelings with him.
-« Wow, we're the mom and dad of Haruto and Haruna. » saying that statement loud, feels like a warm bubble in her chest.
Boruto distances a bit to take a look at her. He feels special to have access to the real Sarada, stripped from the layers she puts on. Being with someone who shares similar affection for his kids, makes him full of life after all the years when he felt isolated. Tenderly, he cups her head wanting to look at her. Meeting her watering eyes, he was hit by her emotion.
-« You're really good with them. »
As much as Boruto wanted to give the twins a normal life far from the Uchiwa, he could divest them for their mother who clearly loved them. That's what he always wanted for them.
She wipes the tears from her eyes and starts laughing quietly, finding herself silly.
-« What is it? » he asks
-« I was just thinking that we're a pretty fucked up family. »
The word 'Family' pinches his heart.
-« I guess you're right. I guess as long as they are happy and loved, it's fine... »
Sarada snuggles back to him, then she looks at him. She approaches her face unsure. Understanding what was happening, Boruto responds by holding her waist and kissing her lightly. They look at each other to confirm what the other was thinking, and they just do it again. Boruto gets himself together.
-« Sarada, I don't want to mess things up with the kids and all. Let's just take it slow, ok. »
-« Yeah, you're right. »
She distances herself but their hands keep reaching at each other.

Since yesterday's kiss, they were pretty uncertain between the two of them. They did not really know how to act near to each other, sometimes teasing, sometimes cautious. The kids could tell something was different.
-« Maybe we should talk about what happened, Boruto? »
-« I think so. Would be better if everything were clear... So, any particular thoughts? »
-« I don't know. I haven't thought of it much before I... but, it's not a big deal, don't you think. »
-« No, of course, we did nothing wrong, I mean, we were only excited about them. »
-« Yeah, and I guess, it's not that surprising either. »
-« What do you mean? » Boruto says, unsure if she refers to their past relationship.
-« We spend a lot of time just the two of us, without meeting anybody else, so... »
-« Yeah, and considering everything it was mostly a matter of time. You're suggesting that we continue? »
-« Well, I'm ok with that, and if you are, I don't see a problem.»
-« Under those circumstances, I think it makes sense. My only concern is the kids, I don't want them to have expectations. »
-«Agree, we should be careful before them… I didn't ask you,but do you have someone at Konoha? »
-« Not really… girls like kids, but it is always difficult. And, that's all I'm gonna discuss with you. » In a smile, he stands up to leaves.
-« You're not asking me? »
-« No, with a father like yours, if there were someone, he does not exist anymore. » jokes Boruto, leaving Sarada laughing.
-« Idiot. »
-« So, I'm perfectly fine, keeping everything discreet. »
...
-« I'm not hungry anymore, can I go back to play? »
-« Yeah, me too. »
-« What are you saying, Sarada? Can they go? » asks Boruto.
-« Finish the vegetables and you're good to go. »
-« oh... » Says Haruto disappointed.
The parents had a knowing look. The kids finish and leave.
-« Ok, they are gone now. »
Boruto picks Sarada up, and sits her on the counter, then buries his face in her neck.
-« What are you doing?... That's how to take things slow? »
-« I was just joking. » distancing himself with a big smile.
She gives him an ironic unimpressed look, trying to hide her smile before touching his forearm with affection. She travels her hands toward Boruto's waist and subtly grabs his jacket to bring him against her. He presses his hand against her back to press closer to him, with his other hand he cups Sarada's face ready to kiss her.
-« What are you doing? » asks Haruna, watching them.
Really? They really fail that quickly. They froze in place, wanting to face palm. Boruto turns his face to meet his daughter's puzzled face.
-« Hey mushroom. » says Boruto, coming to Haruna.
-« Are you playing mommy and daddy? »
-« We were just talking »
-« You weren't not talking. I want to play mommy and baby with Sarada. I want to be the mommy. »
-« Sorry Haru, you know that I'm not good at playing. »
-« And you daddy? »
-« Sorry mushroom, maybe later. »
...
After the twins were asleep, Sarada goes to take a shower. She comes out wearing only a towel around her.
-« You forgot your clothes. »
-« I forgot nothing. » Says Sarada playfully, approaching him «Do you have a problem? ».
-« Sara, I know what you're doing? » Says Boruto grabbing her waist.
-« Good, I knew you could read my subtle signals. »
Sarada gets on the balls of her feet to kiss him.
-«Are we really doing this? »
-« What? You are nervous? » teasing him.
Boruto takes her from the ground.
-« What are you doing, Bor? »
-« I can't let the kids see you like that, I will have to hide you in your room. »
-« Idiot, put me down. »she says with a smile.
He drops her down on her bed, and gets on top of her to kiss her.
-« You really think that it's a good idea. I mean us, that. » Boruto asks.
-« Why not? »
-« You're kidding me, right? »
She caresses his face.
-« When you think about it we can't mess this up more than it already is. »
He kisses the top of her exposed chest.
-« God, I can't believe I'm having a conversation right now... »
-« Well, you started it. We can stop if you want. » completes Sarada.
He slides his hand to caress her thighs, then he continues, divided:
-« It's maybe not a good idea to bring feelings into this. »
-« You're thinking bout your babies. »
-« Yeah, we have to be smart to protect our beautiful babies. »
-« I like it when you're talking like that. That's sexy »
She grabs his face and kisses him passionately. Their make-out was heated up, when:
-« So, we don't care? »
-« Let's care about ourselves right now. » She says unbuttoning his shirt.
Boruto goes back to her and presses himself more and more against her. His hands explore her body. But suddenly. he stands up and locks the door.
-« The kids are really mood killers, hope they don't wake up. »
Sarada sits on her bed, watching Boruto revealing his body to her. When he goes back to her, he grabs her leg and pulls her under him, he slides his hands on her back to circle her whole body and holds her against him. His kisses cascade from her mouth, to her neck, the top of her breast, to finally find her breast that he slowly uncover.
-« You're really beautiful. »
-« Bor. Come kiss me. »
-« Of course. »
Boruto hovering her, with a smirk. He goes down on her and opens her legs.
-« What are you doing? » asks Sarada with a hint of worries.
Feeling those kisses on the thighs slowly moving up gives Sarada chills. The warm hands caressing her butt and her thighs, making her so ease, just wanted to melt. He could feel the pleasure tickles, while he attacks the groin, and passes his hand over her slit. Well, he remembers her. Slowly his finger massages her lips. She gasps when he licks her slit from the bottom to the top before relax from his caresses. Sarada lets her under his care, watching herself to not make too much noises while he is striking her with pleasure when he teases her button.
-« I want you Boruto. » Says Sarada with red cheeks, standing on her forearm.
Boruto strips from his pants, while she was biting her lips. He kisses her and whispers:
-« Hope you have condoms. »
Sarada recovers herself with the towel and goes searching in her drawer.
-« Here, I don't have many tho. »
Boruto takes the condom and strips the girl before him of her towel.
-« Let's make the most of it, then. »
He puts the condom on and makes her sit on him. They connect slowly, as she sits more and more on him, reaching the bottom, and sighs, relaxing around him. She looks at her partner who has sparkling eyes. Controlling the rhythm, Sarada makes herself comfortable. Boruto passes his hands on her back and leans and lays her on him to kiss her. His hands travel to her butt. Slowly he moves in her, making her moan against his lips. She gets on her forearm to get the control back, and gets him back and forth inside her. Wanting more he traps her hips, and accelerates the movement, making her grab her muscular shoulder.
Boruto rolls her over and grabs her ankles to bring up her legs. Boruto could take a good look at her, with her legs spread. He buries himself in her, watching her pleasure grow. Sarada was losing herself at every hit. Feeling that she was at the end of the road, she pulls him from her to get on her hands and knees, her butt facing him.
-« Finish me. »
Boruto did not fight her and enters her more roughly than before. Boruto was hitting her on her farther point. Wanting more her hips move by themself to get more of Boruto.

Boruto comes back to Sarada after going to the bathroom, he joins her under the sheets.
-« You are sleeping with me? »
-« It's the first time, we... I don't know how to put it... being intimate in a bed. »
-« Oh god, you're making it weird. »
-« You know what I mean. Now that I know you, it's not the same thing as before... »
-« Don't get sentimental. »
He holds her in her arms.
-« Talking about that, tough girl. That tattoo on her back... »
-« Oh my... »
-« What is it? »
-« Nothing. What about it? »
-« Two snakes, you didn't have that before. »
-« and? »
He raises his eyebrows at her.
-« You were thinking about them that whole time. »
Sarada buries her face in his shoulder.
-« You don't know what you're talking about. »
-« You don't want to talk about it... Can I at least ask you, how it was when they were with you? »
-« When I was pregnant? »
He nobs.
-« That's not a happy story, Bor. »
-« How so? It was difficult. »
-« Very sick, very alone, and I got so big. At the end, I was laying most of the time. »
-« ...A shame that I could not have been with you. »
-« You surely would not want to be with me at that time. » She caressed his face, trying to reason.
-« You don't know that, I was pissed but I'm not heartless. »

Boruto wakes up slowly by Sarada snuggling on him.
-« Hey morning! » He says in a low voice.
-« Morning. »
He covers her with his arm and kisses her.
-« Mama! Daddy is not in his bed. »
-« Mushroom, it's ok I'm here. »
Haruto opens the room.
-« What are you doing in mama's bed? »
He gets on the bed.
-« Daddy just made a bad dream last night. »
-« Other parents sleep in the same bed too, because they have bad dreams too... »
-« Come here, do you want to hug Haru? » Sarada asks.
-« Poor Boruto, hope you could sleep after that bad dream. » says Sasuke in the door frame holding Haruna.
-« Did not hear you come back, dad. »
-« I need to talk to you Sara, please get up... I know you love your mama Haruto, but you have to come with. Let them have some time to get out on the bed. »
-« Coming, can I have cereal again? » says Haruto.
-« I think we cursed, Sara. » whispers Boruto.
-« Can't believe it. »
-« Do you think, he's angry at me? »
-« You may be ok. »
...
-« Mitsuki is not with you? »
-« No, in fact, things are complicated. Naruto is moving every stones to find us. I don't know how, but he knows it was us, and they got Karin. I'm sure she ain't gonna talk, but we will have to get her out, but not right now. Suigetsu, Jugoo and Mitsuki are misleading them. »
-« Are we staying here? »
-« Yeah. They will eventually give up, but it might take longer than we expected.»
-« Ok, and you what will you do? »
-« I just came to give you some news but I will go back. I made sure the old Hana gets you food so you don't have to go out. Your mom and I won't come to visit for a while. Maybe for 1 month, maybe longer. »
-« Ok, I was hoping we could go to the hospital. It's not a good idea, I guess. »
-« Not right now. You will have to keep our company busy for a little more... talking about that, things are going well as I can see. »
-« Papa. It was the first time... we're not like together. »
-« I was talking about the kids. You got close to them. I'm happy for you. »
-« Oh yeah. They are nice, I didn't know that I would get along with them. »
-« and for the blond brat, it's ok. You can do what you want. Just, you know, don't get pregnant again, it's not good timing. »
-« Gosh dad... yeah I won't. »
...
-« Your dad talked to me before leaving. »
-« You are kidding,right? Gosh, sorry about that. » answers Sarada.
-« No, it was not about that. In fact... he asks me what would I do if my dad finds me. »
-« What did you say? »
-« I don't think I have many choices. »
-« You will go back. »
-« but, it makes me think: what are we gonna do if Konoha finds us? »
-« ... »
Boruto touches her chin to make her look at him.
-« Boruto. Let's not have that conservation. »
-« Why not? »
-« You won't like my answer. » she answers caressing his hair.
-« I don't care. We talked about what we're gonna do, if they don't find us, but never if they do… I need to know what you're gonna do. »
She crosses her arms but he did not let her go, caressing her to encourage her to open up.
-« There's no way, Konoha can let me get away with what I did to you. I won't let them get me alive. »
-« My father is comprehensive, we can work something... »
-« No Boruto. I'm not being captive by Konoha, again. »
-« You can't say that, you have Haruto and Haruna, now. »
-« They need you, they don't really need me, Boruto. »
-« They need their mother, you need to work something out. This is what being a parent is, you can't just think about yourself. »
-« I know, but I don't change my answer. »
...
-« So, it's nap time. » Says Boruto getting Sarada in his arms. « I guess I will have to get you to bed. »
Sarada laughs.
-«You're stupid » she answers before kissing him. « and what if I'm not tired. »
Boruto presses his forehead against her, his hands slide on the curves of her back to meet her butt.
-« Don't worry, I will get you tired. »
-« Let's see if you can keep your promise. »
She rolls her arms around his neck, in a kiss.
-« Good you're still here... You are making such a nice couple. »
The couple turns to see who talked.
-« Mitsuki, what are you doing here? »
Mitsuki turns his back and leaves the room. In a quick move, he pulls the pin of his can and drops it on the floor. Smoke fills the room slowly.
-« What the fuck is that? »
-« Mitsuki, what are you doing? »
Boruto gets away from Sarada and goes to the twin's room. The noise woke Haruna and Haruto up, and they ask for their dad. Sarada follows him and closes the room behind him, she takes some clothes to block the bottom of the door.
-« What is going on, Sarada? »
-« I'm not sure, I think Mitsuki betrayed us. We have to get out of here. »
-« You think the smoke will make us sleep. »
-« Yeah, that would be my guess too. »
-« Ok, use this as a mask. »
-« It will be ok, you two. Just hang on us, we will get outside. »
-« They will wait for us. »
-« We will have to split to have a chance. »
-« Yeah. We have to go, before the smoke gets into the room, are you ok? »
-« Yeah, where do we meet after? »
-« I don't know, let's just get away alive. »
They kiss each other holding the kids against them.
-« Stay alive. » says Sarada.
-« You too. »
-« Follow me. »
They get in the smoky room, Boruto follows Sarada to find the exit. They use the smoke to surprise their opponent and they split to run away. Sarada feels the smoke affecting her, she holds Haruna tighter. The little girl was already asleep, Sarada knows it was only a matter of time before she falls herself. She stops to hide and makes a clone who continues running. Sarada hides under a cliff, before losing conscience.
