Chapter 5: Weld
Sarada wakes up by a bright light. She could see nothing. She feels her hands tied up. She sees two silhouettes before her.
-« You're awake. »
-« Where... »
-« Where? We are in Konoha. We already met each other, miss Uchiwa, I'm Shikamaru Nara and I'm here with Sai. »
Discouraged, Sarada lets her head fall behind.
-« Not happy to be back? »
-« ... »
-« We have questions. If you collaborate, we will be able to negotiate your sentence. »

Sarada wakes up. She looks around and she could not recognize the room she was in.

At the door frame, Sarada sees 2 women with dark purple hair looking at her. Then, she sees familiar faces appear, the Hokage and her Haruna.
-« Mama. » Haruna says, fussing on her grandpa's arms to go find her mother.
Haruna climbs on the bed and lays her head on Sarada. Sarada does not say a word.
-« Hey Sarada. You are in Boruto's room. Here's Hinata, my wife, and our daughter, Himawari. Do you need anything? »
Sarada looks at them as a fear animal.
-« It's really her, papa? » asks Himawari.
-« Yeah. Can you let me just have a moment with her, I think we need to talk... Haru, can you leave, me and your mama alone for a moment? ... so, you must wonder what is happening? »
She nobs.

Boruto was running down the corridor, his little trick works on Mitsuki but he knows he doesn't have much time before some discover that he traps him in the cell. At that moment, he could hear Haruto complaining from far away. He sneaks following the sound.
-« The pod almost ready for you. » Says Orochimaru caressing the chin of Haruto. Then, he licks his lips with his long tongue. « You are really perfect. I could never dream of a better body, half Uchiwa half Uzumaki. A real miracle. »
Boruto tries to peek and sees a weird giant laboratory. Haruto was being held in place by guards. He could see another man, with white hair and a mask.
-« Yeah, he will be a good vessel. But it won't be for now. The Uzumaki with his mark is the real deal. We will wait for Jigen instruction, maybe he will let you take him. »
-« Don't want to be rude, but I would prefer that child or Sasuke's daughter. »
-« You want the Sharingan, isn't it? »
In a flash of light, Orochimaru and Koji were pushed. They turn to see Naruto and Sarada on the other side of the room, Naruto holds Haruto in his arms, and lets him down.
-« It's your lucky day, I'm here. » Says Sarada starting her Chidori, while Naruto was glowing in nine-tails mode.
They start fighting. Boruto was still sneaking while watching them fight, wanting to help, but did not know how to. God, it's been a long time. He was about to intervene when Sarada got trapped by Orochimaru's snake but his dad freed her easily. They were getting over their opponent.
-« Well, that wasn't half bad. » Says Sarada.
Naruto gives her a smirk when something pins her against the wall. Naruto's glow comes back and he looks at the blonde stoic women walking toward him. Naruto was fighting the woman, but when the two others were joining, he was about to lose control of the situation. Sarada has her chakra drain. That's when Boruto jumps in with a vanishing rasengan. It hits the woman but she automatically recovers.
-« Boruto, what are you doing, get away? » says Naruto.
-« I can help dad. »
-« There's not much we can do, she recover instantly. »
The fight continues but was going nowhere, and Boruto finishes getting hurt while Sarada screams his name. Boruto opens slowly his eye, angry. Then. his body starts glowing and leaves the ground. Boruto's pure eye was open and horn grows on his forehead. His voice was not the same. With the force of a god, he took down the opponents, freeing Sarada. But, he could not stop himself, in fact he was not himself anymore. He starts attacking his father, who was trying to wake him up.
-« What is happening to him? » asks Sarada.
-« It's the god's mark, he got it when he was young, but it's been a long time since it developed like that. »
-« What do we do? »
-« I don't know yet. »
Sarada activated her eyes and her susanoo to protect Naruto.
-« Sarada, you don't have enough chakra for that. »
-« Just finish it quick, then. »
The nine tails fox takes form inside Sarada's susanoo armor. The battle continues, then Kurama's blade gets Boruto's pure eye. He falls dead drops on the ground. Sarada gets to him and takes his pulse.
-« He seems ok. I don't have anymore chakra to heal him. »
-« It's ok. Let's get out of here. »
-« We can get him to the hospital nearby. »

Boruto opens his eyes to find that he was in a hospital chamber. Resting on his bed, Sarada was heavily sleeping, when he started caressing her hair with the tips of his fingers. She slowly gets to him.
-« Hey, you're awake? » she asks.
-« Everything's ok. »
-« Yeah, everything is ok now... I'm gonna get my mother. »
-« Hey, wait a moment. »
-« What? »
He grabs her hand and approaches, she understands what he wants and sits on the bed to kiss him. He rolls his arms around her.
-« You get me, worry. Well, us worry… ok, I promised my mom to get her as soon as you wake you I will be right back. »
...
-« Follow my finger... Does it seem normal to you? »
-« Yeah, like usual. »
-« Everything seems fine, only a scar. You're lucky. » Says Sakura standing up from the bed.
-« Thank you, Sakura. » Says Naruto putting a hand on her shoulder.
-« You will be able to go back to Konoha, today if you want, Boruto. »
Sarada opens the door, with Haruto in her arms.
-« Is it ok to bring Haruto in? »
-« Oh, absolutely » says Sakura. « Haruto, you've been a big boy today. I'm proud of you. Do you want to see your dad? »
Haruto stretches his arms toward Boruto, who picks him up.
-« And you, darling, you are ok? you recover? » Asks Sakura turning to her daughter.
-« Yes, mom thank you. »
-« So, I think Naruto and I will let you have some alone time, in family. » says Sakura pushing his friend outside, closing the door after them.
Sarada sits on the bed. Boruto brushes her hair behind her ear and asks:
-« So, what are we gonna do? »
-« with us? »
-« With all of us. »
