okay so this fanfic was inspired by a school assignment that i had to do in drama. so the back story of how i came up with this was that i had to do a one page scene between two characters in a locked room because of the c*r*n*virus. and long story short, i didn't meet all of the requirements without going over a page long and now this story was born. i also changed my username to gwsoongng.

Cat's POV

"Oh my god I'm so scared about this virus going around!" I said to my friend Robbie as I shut the door and locked it. I got so scared of corona that I locked us in the janitors closet. I thought it was a good place to hide because there's a lot of cleaning products.

"That doesn't mean you had to lock us in this room, Cat we have class," Robbie said as the bell rang. Is this boy crazy? He doesn't realize that we're all gonna die because of this virus.

"YES IT DOES!!!! The virus does nothing but infect and kill people," I yell at him.

"It won't kill everyone it infects," Robbie said.

"I know but there's no cure so most people are gonna die," I said. "And I don't wanna die."

"Kitty, just because there's no vaccine yet doesn't mean most of us are gonna die," He explained.

"Yes it does," I said defensively.

"Oh really? And where did you find this information?"

"On the Slap, Instagram, TikTok...oh and Wikipedia too," I mean the internet is the primary source of information so it's gotta be right.

"Cat, you should never trust Wikipedia, or the internet for that matter," WHAT? Never trust anything on the internet? Last I checked he always gave us information on his PearPad.

"Why not?" I ask, crossing my arms.

"People only put out their opinions and not the facts," I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.

"I don't understand,"

"People don't really know what's going on. Most people will survive the coronavirus. The ones who have to worry are the babies, people with health issues, and those who are over 80 years of age," He said. Wait my nona's old, will she survive?

"Oh no will Nona survive?" I ask, shaking in fear.

"Is she over 80 years old?"

"No, but I think my grandpa is," I said.

"Then she'll be okay," He said. OMG YAY! She's gonna be alright!

"Yay!" I walked closer to him and was about to hug him but then I remembered something and backed away.

"Why did you back away?" He asked in confusion. I hate that I can't hug him.

I grab a can of Febreze from my purse, "We gotta stay six feet apart!!!" I said, as i sprayed Febreze all over him.

"CAT!" He yelled. Oh no i don't like it when he yells.

"Oh no did I spray too much?"

"A little,"

"I'm sorry," I sat down and placed the Febreze next to me. I felt my phone vibrate. "I wonder who it's from," I said to myself. Once I read the Message I fell apart. I sat there and cried.

"Cat, why are you crying?" Robbie asked, sympathetically.

"I just got news that my grandfather passed away from the coronavirus," I said as I cried harder.

"Aww, Kitty, I'm so sorry,"

"It's not your fault, he was over 80, like you said," He sat next to me and set me in his lap. I settled my face in the crook of his neck.

"Shhh, Cat, everything will be okay. He'd want you to celebrate his life not mourn over passing." He said holding my hand, stroking it lightly. I gave him a faint smile as my tears slowly subsided.

"You always know just what to say," I said. I smiled adoringly at him for a moment before snapping back reality. He gave me a hug before I leaped off his lap. I reattached my hand to his, my face turning beet red. I let out an airy giggle. "You're so cute," I said quietly but it was still loud enough for him to hear.

"What was that now? Did you just say that I was cute?" He asked. Oh crap did I really just say that out loud? Now my life will be over. I'm so in love with this boy. He drives me crazy. We can't be together WERE BEST FRIENDS. Uhhh I'm gonna faint.

"Umm…Umm," I tried to come up with something. My breathing started getting heavy. All of a sudden I started to feel dizzy. My head felt like it was spinning, I couldn't think straight. My vision was blurry too. My legs felt loose and they couldn't support me too much longer. I started to fall but Robbie caught me.

"Oh, kitty," He said. "Here sit down," I sat down, my head still spinning. He sat down next to me and set my back in his lap. My breathing was still very heavy. "Calm down," He soothed. But I couldn't calm down, I just said that he was cute. OUT LOUD. Just then I fainted in his arms.
