When Shikamaru and Temari finished eating they called the waiter over to bring the bill, seeing this Ino, Choji and Kankuro did the same. Temari grabbed a hold of Shikamaru's hand and pulled him off quickly, causing their not so secret viewers to have to run after then to keep up. They hurried back to the hotel they were staying in, went into Shikamaru's room and locked the door.
"Okay ready?" Temari whispered as Shikamaru nodded with a coy smirk plastered on his face. Ino, Choji and Kankuro were trying to suppress their chakra but were failing miserably so the couple knew they were there. Ino and Choji shared a confused look with Kankuro before shrugging it off and focusing on the room in front of them.
"Ohh Shikamaru!" Temari tried to suppress the fit of laughter that threaten to burst out as she attempted to moan his name.
"Temari" Shikamaru growled in a husky voice, though he too was suppressing laughter.
The three eavesdropper's jaws dropped, Kankuro's face was covered in horror. He attempted to burst into the room but Ino stopped him, blocking his way and shooting him a glare that would send shivers down the spine of even the toughest of ninjas.
Inside the room Temari and Shikamaru conquered the urge to laugh and were on the next part of their little scheme. Temari pushed herself against the wall to make a sound, she then moaned. They covered their mouths as laughter threatened to rise once again.
At this point Kankuro was furious, he was ready to bust down that door and kill Shikamaru but Ino wasn't having any of that. She had made Choji expand his hand and grab a fuming Kankuro so he could ruin what they thought was a very romantic moment.
Now it was Shikamaru's turn, he leaped onto the bed making the springs of the mattress squeak as loud as they could giving the affect they had taken what ever they were doing to bed.
Choji couldn't hold Konkuro anymore, he was thrashing around so violently and Choji didn't want to hurt him. Konkuro forced open the door and ran inside with steam coming out of his ears. Then he stopped, he looked around the room to see Shikamaru sitting on the bed and Temari leaning against the wall. All of a sudden the couple burst out it hysterics, to say he was confused was an understatement.
"Wh-what's going on? Temari?
Temari tried to talk but she couldn't over all her laughter. Kankuro wasn't the only one confused, Ino and Choji were too. When the two finally stopped laughing they turned to the confused newcomers. Shikamaru wasn't that bother by it all, he expected Temari was mad though. She wasn't mad just slightly annoyed, so she decided to get answers.
"So, why did you bust the door open and come storming in here?"
Kankuro answers his sister "We heard noises and... could let you do anything you'd regret."
"You heard noises?" Temari acted innocent "how could have heard what was going on in this room if you weren't up against the door?" She gasped dramatically "were you spying on us?!"
"W-what no! I mean maybe.. Ok fine yes but only because he's going to do things to you!" Kankuro pointed to Shikamaru who smirked, riling him up even more. "Seeeee! Look at the look on his face! He wants to do... things with you." Kankuro's face scrunched up in disgust as he glared at Shikamaru.
Shikamaru went behind Temari and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her into a tight embrace. Her face changed into a crimson shade of red he had only seen on Hinata when she's around Naruto. Maybe he had gone too far, but she wasn't fighting him so maybe not? But the look on Kankuro's face made every thing worth it. Pure and utter horror was displayed on his face, his eyes wide and his teeth clenched together. Before anyone could react Kankuro punched Shikamaru square on the cheek, sending him flying back into the wall with a thud. Temari looked horrified as she rushed over to him.
"Kankuro! You can't just punch people! What is wrong with you?!"
"That bartered had his grubby hands on you! What was I supposed to do?"
"I don't know! Maybe mind you own god dann business!"
Shikamaru rubbed his cheek as Temari helped him up. "Sorry Kankuro, I went to far. If your not comfortable with me hugging Temari I won't do it in front of you."
"Hmph how about you don't hug her at all and you stay 6 feet away at all times."
"Kankuro!" Temari shouted as she dragged him out of the room. "Bye Shikamaru. You too Ino, Choji."
With the two sand siblings gone it was only the Ino-shika-cho trio left. There was an awkward silence before Ino started laugh and before they knew it everyone was smiling and laughing their hearts out.
"Heh, well I guess that's what we get for spying. Anyways night." Ino was the first to leave.
"Ya it's getting late, good night Shikamaru" Choji left leaving only Shikamaru who quickly took a shower and went to bed, drifting off soon after he lay down. Hopefully this taught his nosy teammates and Kankuro a lesson to not spy on their friends and sibling.
