Episode 19: Lucy Returns to Prison… …For A Visit
CHAPTER 1: A SURPRISE VISIT
"AAUGH!"
Violet woke up, looking around to see that she was back in her cell in the prison. Daylight was finally starting to rise and the guards were making the rounds to escort the inmates out for breakfast. Her cellmate looked concerned.
"Are you okay, Gray?" she asked.
"Had a nightmare, that's all," said a tired and disheveled Violet.
"Well you better get up," said her cellmate. "Breakfast time." And Violet got ready for her day. She wouldn't forget the vivid dream she had. She knew she had a lot to atone for. She hoped that she would be able to at least apologize to Charlie when she got out. If he still hated her, that was fine, but she needed to let him know she was really sorry for the pain she had caused. But for now, she had to serve her sentence.
After eating breakfast, Violet headed back to her cell to continue to get ready for the day. She was going to talk to the warden about doing some work around the prison grounds so she could stay busy and even earn some money so she could get some stuff for her cell. Her cellmate was a nice woman so she wasn't worry about her taking her stuff. One of the guards came to her cell.
"Hey Gray," the guard started. "Make sure you're free around 1 PM. You got a visitor coming to see you."
Violet was surprised that she had a visitor to come see her. She wondered if her father had a change of heart and decided to welcome her back into his life, or one of the gang came to see her that still liked her, barring the Browns and Patty.
"Do you know who it is?" asked Violet.
"No I don't," shrugged the guard. "The warden just told me to let you know. Also she will talk to you about doing work around the prison in a few minutes." And the guard left.
Later around 12:45, Violet went to the visitor's room to wait for her visitor. She was excited, as for once it wasn't her lawyer, the only person she had seen since being in prison. To be fair, this lawyer was far better than her former lawyer Dick Sadler, and was working hard on her appeal. She hoped her father would come to see her, sorry for cutting her off and disowning her, but at the same time, she didn't hold her breath. She also didn't expect Patty to come see her after shooting her in the head. She had heard that she had recovered from her wound and was back at home. She was happy that Patty survived. She wanted to apologize to her for what she did, but she could only do that through lawyers as she was barred from contacting not only her, but the Browns, as well. But for now she would have to wait and see who walked in.
After waiting a few minutes, a familiar face walked in, but it wasn't the face Violet expected, but was glad to see them nonetheless.
"Lucy!"
"How have you been, Vi?" said Lucy.
