Continue to be safe as this pandemic continues.

Two and half weeks passed and with them brought big change. Aunt Cass's friend had done a miracle and designed a purple and black bandana with synthetic hair attached along the edges. When worn it would cover the sides of Hiro's head and keep people from noticing the transmitter.

There were other small changes Hiro had to make. With his leg still in a cast for another two months and the surgery coming up, the boy's wardrobe had changed slightly.

Instead of his regular outfit, he wore a thin pair of black pants that went all the way down his right leg while the left ended at his knee where his cast began. Around the knee there was a zipper, indicating the rest of the pant leg could be attached.

Gone was the hoodie jacket and red t-shirt. He wore a loose purple tunic which was easy to get off and on to treat his scars. Another change was anytime he was down in the café he wore sunglasses so he wouldn't be recognized as the boy who came back from the dead.

The news media was still trying to find out exactly what happened to him. Callaghan had forgone a trial and accepted a deal of life in prison without parole. The only thing the state was to provide was allowing his daughter to visit him when she wanted to instead of being kept in isolation twenty-four/seven.

They had done a few interviews with Abigale, but she couldn't really provide anything useful. She had been in hypersleep from the moment she had entered the wormhole because of its instability. She had been sent to a hospital in Florida that took care of NASA's astronauts to recover.

With Callaghan and his daughter unavailable to interview the spotlight fell on Hiro. The media had renewed their efforts to get the story from him despite the court orders to back off.

"Don't worry, Hiro. The media will find something else to focus their attention on," Aunt Cass told him gently as she gave him a quick peck on the cheek.

"I know Aunt Cass. I hope it's soon." He glanced at the news and his jaws dropped at what the newscaster was saying. "Aunt Cass turn up the volume. You have to see this!"

Coming from behind the counter Aunt Cass turned up the volume and they watched as videos of the mysterious heroes played. "This is Bluff Dunder and what you are seeing now are videos sent in by the citizens of San Fransokyo who have been helped by a group of heroes whose name is Big Hero 6.

Big Hero 6 were the ones responsible for saving lives during the runaway train incident. Other well-known events are saving Fredrick Fredrickson IV after Baron Von Steamer crashed his bro-tillion and stopping an underground food fight competition lead by the notorious Momakase.

Let's see what they do to help ordinary citizens of our fair city."

More videos were playing. There was Go-Go in costume chasing down a mugger and leaving him for the police to pick up. Fredzilla rescuing people from the top floor of a burning building. There was a video of Wasabi using his plasma blades to safely remove a sewer drain to get a stuck puppy out.

The most striking videos were of Tadashi and Baymax stopping a mother and daughter crime team, High Voltage, and Honey Lemon trying to help a monster called Globby. Every video showcased each member doing extraordinary heroics for everyday citizens.

Hiro couldn't believe what he was seeing. Those were his suit designs being used to perform heroics! He thought those suits were locked up in the garage! When had his big brother removed and handed them out?

Another thing, Tadashi had the nerve to scold him and told him not to play hero, but he went behind Hiro's back and becomes a superhero? Where is the justice in that?

Angrily, he motored himself out of the café and called out over his shoulder to Aunt Cass telling her he would be in his room for a while. Baymax was currently charging, but once he was done, Hiro wanted some answers.

An hour later Baymax was fully charged and awake. "Good morning Hiro. Have you been doing your exercises while I charged?" the robot inquired politely.

"No, because something on the news distracted me. Care to take a look?" Hiro said shoving his phone into Baymax's hands. The robot watched the replay of the news clip from early this morning. "Oh, dear."

Taking back the phone, Hiro crossed his arms waiting for an explanation for everything.

"Your brother and friends wanted to fully test your suit designs and gather data on using them to help people. The goal is to see if they can be used what they were designed for safely before giving you the data to present to tech companies so they might make similar suits for emergency responders."

Hiro raised an eyebrow seriously doubting Baymax. He barely heard the rest of Baymax's explanation. How BH6 would only be around until the end of the semester. That they were concentrating on small crimes and it was pure happenstance that happened to lead them to confront High Voltage and Globby.

"I'm going to work on my exercises Baymax. I'll talk to Tadashi about BH6 in the future okay?" Baymax nodded in acceptance. He hoped the brothers would talk before a rift formed between them.

It was the day of Hiro's hardware removal surgery. He was plenty nervous as he was being prepped for surgery. His blood tests came back normal, there was no sign of infection in either the blood or urine. The doctors had his latest x-rays for the surgery.

The teenager winced as they stuck the IV into him. He wished Tadashi and Baymax were here. Instead, they were at SFIT working on the group project for Professor Granville's class.

Honey Lemon was attempting to figure out a safe chemical to use for the breakdown of the garbage and needed to make sure it wasn't harmful to humans. He understood why Baymax and Tadashi were helping her, but he couldn't stop wishing they had waited until the next day to do it.

Dr. Bodhi came over to Hiro's bed. He smiled hoping to calm his patient down. "How are you feeling Hiro?"

"Pretty nervous. How long will the surgery take?"

"The surgery will take two hours to complete. I'm going to do my best to minimize the scarring so your skin isn't too traumatized. You'll be wheeled into recovery right after the surgery is over."

"The hospital is letting me spend the night with you Hiro, so you don't have to be alone all night. Once Dr. Bodhi gives you the all clear we'll go home in the morning."

"Right, Aunt Cass." Hiro tried to calm down as the nurses started rolling him into the operating room. Inside, he felt panic building, but couldn't name why. He had been in a coma when Callaghan had surgically inserted the servos and robotic prostheses. The same when all of it was removed.

Am I afraid of never waking up again? I was lost inside for so long and now I'm about to be put under again. No! I can't go under again! "Stop! I don't want this surgery. I can't go under again!"

Hiro started thrashing in his bed. The nurses were struggling him to calm down, but he wasn't having it. He tried to use his arms to push himself back up only to be held down.

"Help! Help me! I can handle any more surgeries! Please, just let me go!" Hiro screamed. One of the nurses injected a sedative into the IV to calm Hiro down. Eventually, his thrashing stopped enough for them to use the anesthesia to put him under.

Dr. Bodhi beheld his patient in confusion. Hiro had not indicated any problems with the surgery other than it would push back his recovery. To have him struggle and fight to avoid the surgery was utterly unanticipated.

"Would one of you go tell his aunt what happened here and inform her the operation will take a bit longer than expected?" A nurse nodded and headed out of the room.

Focusing on his patient he told the anesthesiologist to keep a close eye on Hiro to make sure he didn't wake up during surgery. He didn't want to traumatize his patient any further.

Lifting Hiro's hospital gown, the man picked up a scalpel and started the surgery.

No one noticed the flicker of a strange symbol on the video monitor before disappearing. Obake was watching this surgery and couldn't wait to find out more about Hiro.

"The human body, a remarkable machine indeed. Oh, what do we have here?" Obake asked himself. He zoomed in on the transmitter and isolated it. Using the image, he ran a search throughout the hospital's video archives to see if there was any other information on it.

Finding the date of Hiro's initial surgery, the criminal brought up the footage on a secondary screen and watched it while still keeping an eye on the boy's current operation.

The video was cued to the moment in the operation where Dr. Bodhi was checking the transmitter over to see if it could be removed. "There's a lot of inflammation of the skin around his temple where the patient's, what is called again?"

"Neural transmitter doctor."

"Thank you, Nurse Ava. The initial injury was several weeks ago. The inflammation should have gone done. I need more details on what's going on here, people. Check those notes to see if there's anything about the device in them.

I'm going to inject a few CCs of corticosteroids to see if it has any effect on the inflammation. Let's take a portable x-ray to see how deep this device goes into the scalp."

Obake leaned forward in his chair fascinated by the video of Hiro's past operation. He exited the video knowing he would look at it in more detail later.

In the operating room, Dr. Bodhi had already made the incision and tapped the flap of skin back. He had also worked his way through the layers of skin and muscle until he got to the ribs.

"In the position to remove the first plate. Hand me the drill please?" Dr. Bodhi began removing the screws and plates. One and two were not a problem. Then something surprising happened when he went to remove the third set.

He leaned down to unscrew the plate when he saw something tiny moving across the plate. "Quick, I need magnification. Something's moving!" Once he could properly tell what was moving he was in shock.

"I don't believe it. I have never seen anything like this before."

"What have you never seen before Dr. Bodhi? Is the patient in trouble," the nurse asked anxiously.

"Look on the monitor," he whispered. Everyone, including Obake, stared at the monitor. The medical profession were all flabbergasted, but Obake was smiling sinisterly, very pleased by what he saw.

The nanites had broken down and reconstructed the remaining plate and screws into more medical nanites! Furthermore, to do this, they had exited the bloodstream to reach the surgical device before retreating into the bloodstream, all while not causing any damage to the surrounding tissues!

"Hmm, truly genius. I wonder if the young lad understands what his brain is doing when he's not conscious. Something to ask him later. For now, it's time to see how he'll handle my first puzzle."

A few nights later, Tadashi, Fred, and Honey Lemon were staking out the local art museum. Honey Lemon's favorite artist, Lenore Shimamoto, one of the city's most famous artists and founder of San Fransokyo Art Institute, famous painting, "City Rising" was on display.

"I've always wanted to see Shimamoto's famous work. She painted it to honor the rebirth of the city after the Great Catastrophe. It was a symbol of hope that inspired everyone to work harder to create the city of today."

She sighed in happiness, hoping she would at least get to see the painting while it was on display before it went back into the museum vault for preservation.

"The perfect item to steal for any thief. Which is why we need to be here to make sure no one takes it. Right, Tadashi? Tadashi?" Fred asked Tadashi. The young man was not paying attention. His mind seemed a million miles away.

"TADASHI!"

Tadashi jumped up and nearly stumbled off the rooftop only for Honey Lemon to pull him back to safety. "Dashi, are you okay? Freddy! How could you scare him like that?"

Tadashi placed a hand on her chest telling her to calm down. "It wasn't Fred's fault. I was distracted. Life at home has been very difficult the last few days."

His friends looked at him in concern. "Did something happen to Hiro?" Honey Lemon asked anxiously. She knew his hardware removal surgery had been a success and was anxious a complication had arisen.

Tadashi nodded and let out a sigh. "I told you about what happened during Hiro's hardware removal surgery right? About his body creating more nanites?" His friends nodded and he continued. "Well, somehow a video of Hiro's two surgeries got posted on YouTube. Word's gotten about what happened to him and about his nanites."

Both his friends looked astonished. They hadn't seen anything on the news about this. Honey Lemon pulled out her phone and checked the Internet, but there was nothing. "I'm not finding anything."

Tadashi explained that the hospital's lawyers had forced the website to take the video down and they placed an injunction barring the media from airing or writing anything about it claiming it violated the doctor-patient privilege for ongoing treatment.

"The damage is still done. Hiro's still on bed rest, but now he refuses to talk to me or Aunt Cass. He ordered Baymax not to tell me anything about his recovery.

We even had to close the café down since yesterday to avoid having it overrun by reporters, tech companies, and people who just want to get videos with Hiro. The garage is on lockdown and the only way I've been able to get to school was using my armor to sneak out my window and travel across the rooftops halfway to school."

"Whoa man, that sounds rough. Should I ask Heathcliff to buy you a pack of hounds to set on these nosey people?"

Honey Lemon narrowed her eyes at Fred not pleased by his lack of seriousness. Tadashi however, laughed. Some of the tension left his body and felt better. "Thanks for the laugh, Fred. I needed it."

The museum alarm sounded and people were running out of the building screaming about a monster. A few minutes later the security guards rolled out of the building in a big, purple, ball of goo.

The trio recognized the goo. Fred closed his costumes eye and jumped off the roof. "Fredzilla is on the case!" Honey Lemon used her chemballs to create a path for her and Tadashi to slide down on and into the museum.

Globby was trying to figure out how to hold the painting and getaway at the same time. "Can I put it in my body and run?" he asked himself. He did that and tried to run only to fall thanks to his gooey legs. "Ugh, this is so embarrassing," he moaned.

"Stop right there Globby! Hand over the painting!" Fredzilla demanded. On his right, Tadashi was already assembling a robotic claw to grab the painting back while on his left Honey Lemon held a chemballs in her hand.

"Does it look like I have hands to hold over a painting?" Globby replied irritably. Pushing himself up, he stretched out an arm to the touch the ceiling and swung over the group heading towards the door.

Honey Lemon threw her chemballs freezing part of the ceiling. Globby lost his grip and fell. Tadashi used his claw robot to reach inside the criminal's body and yank the painting out. It went flying and Fredzilla jumped and caught it.

"Hands where we can see them!" Fredzilla ordered.

Globby threw up his gooey arms send his goo everywhere. "Will you stop asking for my hands when I don't have any? Time to bounce and try again." To the trio's astonishment; Globby suddenly changed into a ball and bounced away.

Tadashi looked at Honey Lemon. "Did you know he could do that?" She shook her head. "You and Fred free the guards. I'm going to put this back. We'll let the police know that Globby might return."

The next morning Tadashi brought up a plate of breakfast burritos up to Hiro. "I got your breakfast right here. Aunt Cass outdid herself for you," he told his little brother.

Hiro said nothing. Just propped himself up on his bed with crossed arms. He didn't even look at the tray of food. "Come on Hiro, you need to keep your strength up. You want to go back to physical therapy soon right?"

His brother turned his head away from him. "Look, I know you're mad at me. I should have told you what we were doing with your suits. We're not trying to be heroes little brother. All we're doing is field-testing your suits."

Hiro growled and pointed to the staircase indicating his brother should leave. Knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere with Hiro right now he picked up his backpack.

He paused at the staircase and looked at his little brother one last time. "The others will be coming over this evening for family game night. I hope you will at least talk to them." Without another word, he descended the steps hoping to get to school the normal way today.

Once he was certain his brother was gone, Hiro crawled across the bed to get to his wheelchair. He was still sore from the surgery and his skin was even more rigid than before. Each movement sent a wave of pain throughout his body.

Eventually, he managed to get to his chair and motored over to his computer. "I really need to get a laptop," he muttered. Logging on to the chatroom he saw Cyborg-Girl was on.

HeroP7: Hi. I'm surprised you're here right now.

Cyborg-Girl: Why are you surprised? You're here as well. Still on bed rest?

HeroP7: For at least another week. I can't believe it's nearly been two and a half months since I first woke up from my coma.

Cyborg-Girl: Coma? Wow, you really must have been injured if you were in a coma. What happened exactly?

HeroP7: I don't feel comfortable talking about it. Someone already leaked certain information online about me. It was taken down, but I'm still being harassed.

Looking out my window right now, I can see a crowd gathering. All hoping to get a photo of the freaky kid, to boost their social media ratings.

Cyborg-Girl: I don't believe in social media like that. It's a waste of time and hardly ever true. By the way, I'm homeschooled, which is the answer to your earlier question.

HeroP7: Oh yeah. Your dad is overprotective correct.

Cyborg-Girl: You have no idea. I often find myself thinking about weird scenarios to find unusual situations to past the time. I'm hoping to create a role-playing online game one day.

My latest scenario is a priceless treasure is being guarded by magical guards in a fortress and how do you get it out without being caught.

HeroP7: That is a puzzle. What magical powers do the guards possess and does your character have any magic as well?

Cyborg-Girl: There are six guards each has a different power. One can fly, one can teleport quickly, while another can animate statues. The others possess the ability to produce plasma blasts in their hands. The last two are the most interesting. One can run super fast and the other is an alchemist.

My hero character has a magical cube that temporally grants him the ability to be a polymorph. How would he win?"

HeroP7: First, he should find a way into the fortress without being seen. Maybe turn into water and see if he can reach the basement.

Next, using his skills he should take out the guards who can fly by attaching the guard to something to prevent him/her from flying. The guard who can animate the statues should be captured in a cage where he can't animate anything.

Your hero should study the teleporter to see how far he can teleport and if there's a pattern to it so the guard can be subdued. As for the last three guards, simply turn their strength against them and you can get the treasure and get out quickly.

Cyborg-Girl: That's a really smart idea! I didn't even think about doing that. I'll have to write it down for my future game. You're great at puzzles.

HeroP7: Hey, I'm a genius. If you ever have more puzzles to solve tell me.

Cyborg-Girl: I will. I need someone like you to help me with my game.

In the afternoon, Professor Granville's class had just ended and the group was heading over to the museum to check out the painting with Honey Lemon. She was very excited and was talking all about Lenore Shimamoto's other art pieces.

"Mr. Hamada, I would like to talk to you for a few minutes please."

The group stopped in their tracks. "Sure, Professor Granville. You guys go on. I'll catch up." Honey Lemon grabbed Go-Go's hand and started pulling her down the hallway. "Come on Go-Go, we need to hurry!"

Tadashi shook his head while smiling. Of course, the only time Honey Lemon would be faster than Go-Go would be rushing off to see some artwork. Walking over to Professor Granville's desk he asked. "What do you need to talk to me about Professor Granville?"

She gestured for him to take a seat as she sat down at her desk. "I wanted to ask how you and your brother are doing, considering what was posted several days ago."

Tadashi swore under his breath. "You saw the video?" His professor nodded and he quickly responded. "What is your interest in this matter, Professor Granville?"

"Please don't take that tone with me, Mr. Hamada," Professor Granville sternly told him. Tadashi nodded hurriedly. "I have no interest in the story like the media, nor do I care about first working medical nanites despite being a scientist."

Her face softened as she spoke. "I am asking how you and your family are coping with the amount of stress caused by this."

Tadashi thought about the situation. He hated having to sneak out of his house to get to school. He had been followed to school by the media. Just the other day, he had nearly hit a reporter in the face because the man startled him by popping out of a bush.

He recalled his aunt's face the first time a customer entered the café, looked around, and then point-blank asked where the machine boy was. Aunt Cass had been taken aback and when she saw the video of Hiro on the surgical table with his nanites at work, she ordered the person to leave instantly.

He remembered the tears streaking down his little brother's face when he was told about the video. Hiro had buried himself under his covers while Baymax had patted his back.

"We're not doing as well as we could be. Ever since Hiro came back from the dead, life hasn't been normal. It feels as if no one cares about our privacy and my little brother is withdrawing from me."

The young man looked at the desk despondently and disclosed quietly, "I think my little brother hates me."

Professor Granville looked at Tadashi kindheartedly. "I don't believe your brother hates you, Mr. Hamada. The world around him has changed and continues to do so rapidly.

To him, it must seem and feel like your normal life has continued without any problems. Same with your aunt's life." She let her words sink into Tadashi as he pondered if what she said was true.

"I believe your brother needs you right now to help him cope with the latest change. I'm excusing you from all your classes for one week. I'll talk to your teachers about giving you some at homework you can do for class credit."

"Thank you, Professor Granville," Tadashi told her as he shook her hands. His phone buzzed with a text from Honey Lemon. It was a coded message about Globby trying to steal the painting again. "I have to go now Professor Granville. I'll see you next week."

Watching the boy hurry out, she hoped that the two Hamada brothers worked out their problems.

Later that night Tadashi flopped on his bed exhausted as Baymax massaged his shoulders. "I can't believe that Globby got away with that painting. I thought we could stop him until the police arrived, but we didn't."

"Globby's improved skills and careful planning are why we were unsuccessful to stop him. Hopefully, the painting will be recovered so others may enjoy it."

"Hope your right big guy. Honey Lemon is devastated by this. You know how important seeing that painting was to her. I also owe Hiro and Aunt Cass a game night. Because of our hero work tonight, we missed it."

"I'm sure that you will have a chance to invite your friends over again for fun games another time. Shall we do our nightly check on Hiro's nanites?"

Tadashi looked over at his brother, who was asleep. Ever since he first came home, Baymax and Tadashi had taken turns overseeing how Hiro's nanites function and collected data to share with the doctors. They did this three times a day and they hadn't done a check tonight. "Let him sleep Baymax. Hiro deserves a peaceful night's rest. We'll do a check in the morning."

"Agreed."

The next day, Hiro woke up late and was surprised to find Tadashi was still in the bedroom. "Don't you have school today?" he asked before cursing himself for talking to his brother.

"Professor Granville gave me a week off of classes so I could spend some time with you."

"How gregarious of her. However, did you convince her to let you take a week off from school?" the teenager asked sarcastically. He ignored the hurt in his brother's eyes.

"Hiro…"

"NO!" Hiro shouted as he pointed at his older brother. "You don't get to say anything to me!" Hiro had a lot of pent up frustrations and he was going to unleash them on the one person he thought would understand.

"My life has been a living nightmare since the day of the showcase! Do you have any idea what it's like to know you were kidnapped, experimented on, and fighting your loved ones and not remember any of it?

It's not a blessing, because I have to live with the results of what was done to me! You don't know how much I wish I could recall the events. My mind keeps coming up with nightmares because I can't work through the problem when I'm awake."

Hiro clenched his fists tightly as he spoke again emphasizing how his voice had changed. "My vocal cords have healed, but my voice will always be a little hoarse. I have scars that will never go away and hurt every day. Even if my leg heals who know if my gait will be the same?

I'm uncomfortable with all the scans you've been doing to monitor my nanite activity every day and night. Then it seems you're never around because of school or your part-time gig as heroes. Aunt Cass is stressed out dealing with the media, my medical needs, and keeping the café running so I'm alone a lot of the time."

Tadashi walked over to his brother and hugged him. Hiro gave in and started crying as his brother soothed him. "I'm sorry I didn't recognize how frustrated you've been lately. School and helping people are important, but not as important as you. I promise I will do my best to balance out my responsibilities okay?"

"You promise?" Hiro whispered.

"I promise," Tadashi said gently kissing his brother's forehead. "Since you are still bedridden for a few more days, what do you want to do for fun?"

"Play video games?" Hiro asked hopefully.

"Sure. Let's see if you can beat my high score in Hero's Duty."

The brother's laughed and soon were engaged playing their game, not noticing the webcam on the boy's computer had turned on and they were being watched.

Back at Obake's house, Trina had turned on the webcam to watch Hiro play with his brother. If she was going to meet him in the real world, she needed to know more about him.

She had to admit he was cute. His brown eyes sparkled with excitement with everything he did. His smile was adorable and despite his lack of height or muscles, she could tell he had hidden strength inside him.

Since he didn't have his bandanna on, she got a good look at his hair. It was no longer peach fuzz, but a thin layer of black locks covered the top of his head. She leaned in to get a closer look.

"I can't tell whether you are observing the boy or admiring him," Obake quipped as he appeared behind her. She let out a yelp and spun around in her chair. "Don't do that! You know what could happen if you startle me too much!"

"I'm working on fixing that Trina. Soon, you won't have to worry. I was impressed by how you managed to manipulate young Hiro to help come up with a plan to secure the blueprints behind the painting."

Trina looked up at her father with curiosity. "How did you even know about that or that Lenore Shimamoto was secretly a scientist?"

"My college project lead me to some forgotten papers during rivalry week. It was the discovery of my lifetime," he replied simply.

He stood next to his daughter and watched the brothers playing. "Gifted minds and they waste it on children games. I'll never understand it."

"Some genius if the concept of fun eludes you," Trina muttered softly to herself. Her father thankfully didn't hear her. Clearing her throat, she spoke up in a normal voice. "He had a breakdown a little bit ago. I was surprised because I figured he was still in the one day at a time stage."

"Agreed, he vented a little too soon, but we can still use this to our advantage. Keep an eye on the bonding between the two. Don't forget to bring up more puzzle scenarios during your talks. We are still testing the young lad."

Back with the Hamada brothers, the boys were piling on the points as they made their through the barren ravaged landscape with a surface seemingly metallic.

All around the brothers, the space military group battling the Cy-Bugs as they made their way towards the tower. From the video game, Sergeant Calhoun's voice shouted, "Pick up the pace gentlemen. We can't let those Cy-Bug eggs hatch!"

"Move it Tadashi! I'm going to get to the top first," Hiro said shoving his brother to the side.

"Not if I get there first," He laughed as he blocked his brother's view of the game. The brothers battled each other as they tried to reach the tower first.

Tadashi was moving ahead and Hiro was starting to lag. He still hadn't regained full strength in his arms, so his hands were getting tired quickly from holding the controller and moving around.

I wish that something would block Tadashi's character so I could get ahead and win the game.

A few seconds later the transmitter warmed up briefly and on screen, a giant swarm of Cy-Bugs descended upon Tadashi's character. "What in the world? Time to take this swarm down."

Hiro grinned as he bypassed Tadashi's character and made it into the tower. Soon he was on the top after blasting apart several more Cy-Bugs and claimed the medal for himself. "Yes! I won!"

Tadashi pouted for a few seconds before laughing. "Good game little brother. If that surprise swarm didn't show up, I might have beaten you. So what else do you want to do?"

"Watch a movie with a big bowl of popcorn with bacon bits!"

"Alright, let's head downstairs, but I'm carrying you. You're still on bedrest remember?"

Hiro moaned but allowed himself to be carried down the stairs and set down on the sofa. "Pick a movie and I'll get the popcorn started."

Hiro looked through their Blu-ray selection and picked the movie Skyscraper. He waited to hear the ding of the microwave indicating the popcorn was done only to hear nothing. "Tadashi, where's the popcorn?"

"Hold on Hiro. I think the microwave may be busted. Let me check something out okay?" Tadashi took a closer look trying to figure out what was the problem with the microwave.

I hope it's something easily fixed. I want to have some popcorn.

Again the transmitter warmed slightly and when Tadashi plugged the device back in soon they had their popcorn ready to eat.

As the day progressed, Hiro started to notice that electrical devices seemed to act up around him before going back to normal. When this happened, his transmitter heated up for a few seconds.

Should I tell Tadashi and Baymax about this? This might have something to do with my nanites, Hiro thought to himself around dinner time. He looked into the kitchen where his aunt and brother were smiling as they cooked dinner.

I haven't seen them this relaxed and happy in some time. I can figure this out for myself and mention it later Hiro decided.

He was just happy his family was spending time with him again. After all, they had been through so far and knowing that the future was going to be unclear for the next few months, they all deserved one night off to be a family.
