Sasuke was silent. He glanced at the young man lying weakly on the white bed.

FLASHBACK ON

Naruto finally succeeded in returning to meet Sasuke, but the severity of an Uchiha he could not avoid. Their meeting which after a long wait for Naruto had to end in a fierce battle.

It was getting dark when they finished the battle in the Final Valley. The result is a draw, each losing one hand. But what really surprised Sasuke was Naruto, his childhood friend who expressed his feelings for him.

"You know ... I've been loving you all this time"

Sasuke didn't answer. He never thought something like this should happen. He never imagined a love relationship like this.

"Sasuke, have you ever thought of me on your journey all this time?"

Sasuke had not had time to answer, both of them had collapsed from exhaustion.

Somehow, when Sasuke woke up he found himself in custody in Konoha Village. But that did not last long, as soon as his former teacher, Kakashi Hatake discussed a few things with him, he was released.

Sasuke decided to leave Konoha Village and wander alone, but again he had to deal with unyielding young men.

"Are you sure you will leave Konoha again?" Naruto asked as he followed Sasuke's footsteps that began far from the gate of Konoha.

Sasuke stopped. He shifted his body so he could look at Naruto's wistful face.

Naruto misunderstood. He had been wrong since he assumed that Sasuke who wanted to be friends with him was a form of love. Maybe Naruto is still unstable, or he's just very happy to have a friend.

"You're so stupid, Naruto"

FLASHBACK OFF

It's been 48 hours Naruto lay in the Konoha hospital. His battle wounds had not yet healed, plus Sasuke had returned an inner wound.

A few hours ago when he awoke, Sakura told him that Sasuke was on his way to Konoha to visit Naruto. Naruto is certainly very happy and excited. When he arrived, Naruto asked Sakura to leave the two of them.

And here they were, in the treatment room with Sasuke standing beside Naruto's bed.

"You really can't return my feelings?"

Sasuke Uchiha is a cold-hearted man, he even forgot the last time the warm feeling of affection shelter in his heart.

Clock clinking feels hard because of the silence of the room without human noise. Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other. Naruto wanted to hold Sasuke's hand, hoping to find strength from there. But his hand was too stiff to move.

"Is that so?" Sasuke who remained silent forced Naruto to conclude his own answer.

Naruto closed his eyes. His memory revolves on the days when he diligently practiced to be strong, to be able to bring home a friend he loved. Now the person is by his side, but not in his heart.

Naruto felt his chest really tight, his breathing felt heavy and his head was spinning.

"Naruto, I'm sorry"

Blue Netra reopened. Although blurry, he could still see Sasuke's face clearly.

"S-sa-sasuke ..."

His voice trembled with tears in his eyes. Naruto was unable to hold back his sobs. He was helpless, he had to surrender. Maybe this is the real destiny.

Naruto had to be satisfied with just staring at Sasuke who was still beside him. Must be satisfied with the last sentence from the man. The rest of his strength he took time to put on his distinctive smile.

"... thank you"

Konoha is mourning. All residents gathered in black clothes and heads bowed deeply. The sky participates in conveying mourning, water dripping following tears.

A photo of a young man with a yellow hair with a happy smile came to the attention of all present. There was no sound but sobs.
