I never understood how hard it was for my older, blue masked brother to lead. Not until that day came.

Nobody expected it, as there in front of us, stood 4 female turtles. "Luna? Is that really you?" I asked the pink masked, Sai yielding female. She was always the quiet one so she just nodded.

"Hey Venus. Can we come in? Our lair is filled with footbots!" Leo said, sheathing his katana blades. Again, the female replied with a nod.

"Daddy? Is that you?" 4 voices asked. Leo smiled at this and held the oldest of his children in his arms… Wait, Children? That's weird. Leo would have told us this! Anyway, continuing with the story.

Ten seconds after this reunion between father and sons, the window was smashed! A whole team of footbots broke into the hideout, 4 grabbed Leo, the others formed a barrier! "Hey! Let my brother go!" I screamed. Then, realising it was hopeless, I turned back to voice my own girlfriend. As my brothers' backs turned, Leo screamed in pain!

"LEO! WHAT'S WRONG?" we screamed, turning to face my only big brother. Unexpectedly, Shredder's claws then appeared, but they appeared straight through Leo's shell! "BROTHER! NO!" Donnie and I yelled Mickey and Leo's kids just cried silent tears. Neither of us were able to believe what we just saw! It couldn't be possible, surely! Leo's gasps for air only made me realize that this is happening! Our brother was dying! We all took him to the hidden lair, where Splinter, April, Casey, Karai and the Mutanimals were waiting for us! Splinter was the first to see the now weak Leo that I held.

"LEONARDO, MY SON! WHAT HAPPENED?" He yelled not stressed, but scared, loving and concerned.

"Shredder!" Leo whispered in response and groaned in pain. As he did though, he collapsed into my arms. SHIT!

"DONNIE!" I yelled, checking for my only big brother's pulse.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING, RAPH?" Casey and Karai screamed. Just then, an unexpected visitor joined us. A gorgeous, pink, mutant caiman! "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU WANT?" I snarled. My hot-headedness died in my heart, revealing my protective brotherly side. Nobody knew I had one, even me! "GET OUT OF OUR LAIR!"

"Easy Raphael! My name is…" she paused, spotting Mickey and gasped. "Midnight? Is that you?" she asked and we all turned to face Mickey with questioning glances.

"Yep. It's me. Long-time no see Nigtorra!" my youngest, orange masked, nunchaku yielding brother responded. Blue eyes locked with brown eyes. "Raph, relax. Nigtorra can help, can't you?" He asked.

"THAT'S WHAT I'M TRYING TO TELL YOU ALL!" I screamed, tears staining my red mask. "LEO'S STOPPED BREATHING!" If there was anything more surprising than me suddenly caring for Leo, who I usually argue with, than please tell me in the reviews. "I can't lose him. Can you help us, Nigtorra?" I asked. That was years ago, now I stand at my older brother's grave, silently sobbing as night falls. "Leo. I can't do this. It's too hard. I shouldn't have treated you like I did." I sigh. Suddenly, right in front my, the grave disappears. A familiar blue masked, katana yielding big vrother is staring at me with his knowing smile as he slowly wraps his arms around me. He's solid, not see-through as a ghost would have been. I can feel his touch. "GUYS, GET OUT HERE!" I scream, the excitement gaining an immediate response from the other mutants, April, Karai and Casey.

"Leonardo? It cannot be!" Splinter,Venus and my brothers gasp.

"It can be. I'm here and I'm alive! And Raph, you did a great job. Don't think so otherwise." Leo states, pulling everyone into a hug.
