"I don't know how they managed to finish that test so fast!" Christain grumbled as I laughed at him.
"Rose is basically a math genius and she's now dating Dimitri! She's probably tutoring him or something!" Christain ran a hand through his hair. I smiled at him and kissed his chin. "Looks like I'm asking Rose to tutor me!" Andre clapped a hand on Christian shoulder as he was leaning forward to kiss me.
"That's my sister dude!" I laughed and rolled my eyes at him and squeezed Christian's hand tightly just as Viktoria ran over to us with a smile on her face.
"Hey! Where's Dimitri and Rose?" Christian snorted and rolled his eyes. I tugged on his arm.
"You mean the brain boxes?" Christian asked. I laughed and smacked his arm. "They finished the test early." Viktoria laughed.
"I blame it on him dating her! That girl is a genius! You know she hasn't got anything less than 100 on tests?" Viktoria said with a smile as she slung her bag over her shoulder.
"Since eighth grade!" Mason chimed in. Adrian ran up and smiled.
"We talking about Rose's brain?" I nodded and laughed. "We'll it's contagious. I got 84 on a test - I never got that before!"
"That's really good!" I encouraged with a smile. Mason rolled his eyes.
"Don't say that. His head is already big enough!" I laughed and shook my head.
"Hey!" Andre yelled. I looked towards the carpark as Andre and the guys ran towards a van that was speeding out of the school grounds. I ran up after them, grabbing Christians arm.
"What's happening?" Christian wrapped an arm around me, squeezed and then went towards Viktoria and hugged her tightly. Andre walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders. Mason and Adrian looked after the van in anger before going over to the bag that was discarded on the ground.
"Dimitri and Rose were taken." I looked between the guys and the back to Viktoria. Her eyes were red as the tears fell. I put a hand on Christian's back. He turned and looked at me as I replaced Christian in hugging Viktoria tightly.
"It's going to be okay. He'll be fine." I could hear Mason on the phone as I tried to calm Viktoria.
"...St Valdimir's Academy... yeah it was a silver Toyota... No, I didn't get a license plate... Okay, we'll stay here." Mason hung up the phone and turned to Adrian. Adrain took out his phone before he dialed a number.
"Rose was kidnapped." He said after a while. "Dimitri was with her... We have to wait here for the police... It was Tony." Adrian put his phone back in his pocket and put Rose's bag back on the ground. The carpark was filling with people, the ones that past send weird glances towards Viktoria as she got more hysterical the longer we waited for the police to get to us.
The sound of sirens was heard in the distance not too far away. Some kids had already left but most were still here, hanging around, curious to see why Viktoria was crying and why the flashing red and blue lights came to a halt in the car park. Mason and Adrian were the ones to go towards them. They were walking quietly to one another before they walked towards us.
Another car came speeding into the carpark. This time, it was Abe, Janine, Mikhail, my dad and Olena that got out. Another car followed filled with some of Abe's personal security. Adrian and Mason were already speaking to police by the time Abe and Janine managed to make it to us.
"You're okay?" My dad asked me, pulling me from Viktoria as Olena went to her daughter. My dad placed a hand on my cheek waiting for my answer. I nodded my head and then he turned towards Andre who gave the same response. My dad let out a breath and he pulled us both into a hug. "I was worried."
"And you don't think they would have run off together?" The police man was saying. Adrian threw his arms in the air.
"That's right. They just got dragged into a van and they're just running away together. How could I be so stupid?!" Adrian yelled sarcastically. Abe shoved him aside.
"You are going to find my daughter." The police man swallowed.
"Your daughter?" Abe nodded. The thing about Abe was that he was respected – and feared – by just about everyone. The police wanted to stay on his good side, he did help them out a lot by loaning out his own personal security to help them with their cases.
"Alright. Let's start with the girl. What's her name, age and description?"
"Her name is Rose Hathaway. She's seventeen. She has long dark brown hair, brown eyes with gold flakes and she's five foot." Abe took out his wallet and handed the police a small photo in it.
"And what about the boy?" Abe looked back at Olena who was trying to calm Viktoria. Instead, he spoke for her.
"He's six foot seven, shoulder length dark brown hair, brown eyes and well built. He's eighteen." The police officer was scribbling things down in a notebook.
"Do you have any idea of who might have done this?"
"His name is Tony Kay." Janine piped up.
"Look, I don't mean to say that Dimitri isn't important but if Rose has another panic attack she can die." Mason blurted out. I tightened my grip on my father's arm.
"What did he say?" I whispered.
"When Rose has panic attacks, she can vomit – it's not a common symptom but it happens. If she has another - she can tear her gastrointestinal tract. Do you know how serious that can be?" Adrian yelled.
"She could die." Mason finished.
"She was taken by Tony – he's the main cause of her panic attacks." Janine looked away.
"We were already in contact with Detective Smith about this." Abe replied. I think he was ignoring what Mason said. I would too if I just found out my daughter might be dying.
"Right. For now, you all should go home. I'll send some officers with you – if you hear anything, call me straight away." He handed something to Abe. Janine grabbed it from him.
"This is all Rose's fault!" Viktoria yelled. Abe and Janine turned towards her, Olena sh-ed her daughter. "I won't be quiet. If she just stayed away, Dimitri would be here right now!"
"Viktoria!" Olena snapped.
"It's true! It's just like Tasha said! She's toxic!"
"That's enough, Viktoria!" Olena snapped. Viktoria was quite after that. I had never heard Olena raise her voice in all my life. Even I flinched at her words and tone. Olena started to push Viktoria towards the car.
"Come on. We'll go home." My dad put his hand out for Andre's keys and opened the door. "I'll call you later Abe. Olena." Christian squeezed my hand before my dad drove off.
