On the third day, Aurora warmed up to Hiccup and the others bit by bit, much to Hiccup and his friends happiness. But Aurora claimed that she wasn't comfortable enough to stay on Berk, which the other understood being that she had an entire Sanctuary to run.

Today, Aurora and Shadow were walking through the forest by themselves. "I gotta admit, Shadow.. it is nice to being around dragons and humans.." Aurora admitted. Shadow cooed in agreement.

Aurora liked her new shield and her sword she got, feeling they would help her greatly in the future. Then Shadow perked up at something, "Shadow, what is it?" Aurora asked. Shadow cooed and ran ahead with Aurora following close behind. Shadow and Aurora stopped at a clearing where Aurora sniffed the ground before he started pawing at something. "What is it, bud?" Aurora asked. She got on her knees and wiped away the dirt and gasped, "Woah..."

Inside of the dirt was a strange looking necklace. The necklace had a silver chain and in the middle was a blue amulet with the symbol of a Night Fury inside of it. "What kind of necklace is this..?" Aurora asked herself. Shadow cooed, confused by the amulet before it glowed in a mysterious light all on its own. "Woah.. what's going on?"

The amulet and the necklace floated up and the necklace attached itself to Aurora's neck and shimmered. "Woah... now that was weird..." Aurora added. Shadow agreed.

"Maybe Hiccup and the others know what this is, come on Shadow." Aurora said but just as they were about to head back, "Aurora! Shadow!" Scar, Shear, Midnight, Pouncer, Ruffrunner, Dart and Snow came running towards them.

"Guys, what happened?" Aurora asked.

"Those Dragon Flyers struck again!" Shear exclaimed.

"And this time they enslaved a large group Death Song dragons and forced them to capture everyone and every dragon on Berk!" Scar added. Aurora gasped in horror. "How many?" she asked.

"About twelve." Shear added. Aurora mounted Shadow and they all rushed back to the village. When they got there, they saw the village was completely empty!

Not a peek, creek or a single cry was heard. It was like a ghost town. The town was covered in an orange amber-like substance. "Oh man, you guys weren't kidding." Aurora winced in horror. "Hey, look at this!" Scar called. The group came over and saw a scroll on the ground. Aurora picked it up and read it aloud,

"If you want to see your precious family and everyone else in your village, Come to Melody Island, Dragon Queen

Krogen and Viggo"

"Oh man... not good..." Aurora said. She figured Melody Island is home to more Death Songs. Aurora turned serious and rolled up the scroll, "Looks like we're going to Melody Island, you guys."

"Alright!" Scar cheered.

"Let's kick some Dragon Flyer butt!" Shear added.

The dragons roared loudly in a agreement and Aurora mounted Shadow while Shear got on Winter and Scar got on Midnight.

"Alright everyone, to Melody Island!" The dragons roared and took off to Melody Island.

Meanwhile, at Melody Island, Viggo and Krogen looked at all the dragons they have captured by enslaving the twelve wild Death Songs who lived here. They were most pleased with their latest prisoners. Hiccup and all his friends including Stoick, Gobber, Zenna, Henna and Edgar. They were all stuck in the Death Songs amber as well as their dragons. The Death Songs they enslaved were nearby and were wearing chains on their faces.

Viggo smirked, "This has gone well..." he hissed.

"And it'll be perfect once that girl gets here..." Krogen added.

"Leave Aurora out of this!" Zenna cried. "She has nothing for you, creeps."

"Oh that's where your wrong, little girl. You see your little human has gathered many dragons and they see her as their Queen, so if we capture the Queen those dragons will fall right into ours hands." Krogen explained.

"And once she is, all those dragons will belong to the Dragon Flyers." Viggo added.

"Aurora will never let that happen." Edgar snarled.

"Oh please, now that she knows I have you all in our possession along with all these precious dragons, she'll have no choice but to surrender to us." Krogen hissed. Hiccup and the others narrowed their eyes at the duo.

Meanwhile, Aurora and the others had arrived on Melody Island and found the canyon where the village and their dragons were being held. "Look there they are.." Scar whispered.

"How are we gonna rescue them?" Shear asked. "You can't take on that many Death Songs..."

"True, but I've been around Melody, Harmony and Singer long enough to know how they behave and think." Aurora stated. "You guys stay here. I'll be back.." Aurora added before she climbed down into the canyon.

"Hey!" Aurora called. "Looking for me?"

Hiccup and the others widened their eyes in horror and concern. "Aurora, get out of here." Hiccup cried.

"It's too dangerous!" Henna added.

Krogen and Viggo smiled evily, "Grab her!" they ordered in unison and the flyers and hunters charged forth and Aurora charged right at them. She leaped into the air and kicked on in the chin, knocking him off before she jumped off of his Singetail and punched two Flyers at the same time!

"Woah.." Viggo whispered impressed with her fighting skills while Hiccup and the others were surprised,

"Okay who taught her self defense cause it was not me!" Snotlout exclaimed.

Edgar and Henna whistled innocently, "Mooooom, Daaaad?" Zenna called with a raised eyebrow.

Edgar and Henna looked at their daughter sheepishly, "Hehehe, we may have taught her a few of our tricks hehehe." Henna admitted.

"Well you taught her very well." Ruffnut said. "Look."

Aurora then used her shield as a boomerang and swung it, knocking out several of the hunters below before it returned to her and she used it to bash the other Flyers, freeing the Singetails before she landed back on the ground. "Alright!" Tuffnut cheered. Krogen and Viggo could see that Aurora was more resourceful than they thought and turned to the twelve enslaved Death Songs, "Get her!"

The hunters whipped the Death Songs, forcing them to launch their amber at her. Aurora dodged left and right from each amber attack. Scar and Shear knew she couldn't do this forever, "She can't play defense and offense forever. She'll get caught." Scar stated.

"Snow, get her out of there, we need to regroup." Shear said to the Light Fury. Snow warbled and she flew down into the canyon just as Aurora was about to hit by the amber. "Ugh.. Snow..!" Aurora said with surprise.

"That White Night Fury again.." Krogen growled.

"Aurora, get out of here!" Hiccup cried to her.

Aurora looked at Hiccup and her friends with worry, "But-"

"There's too many of them, laddie. You've gotta go, now!" Stoick cried. "Go!" Snow and Aurora dodged another amber attack, "I'll be back for you guys, I promise..!" Aurora called as Snow flew out of the canyon. Winter met up with the others in a small clearing outside the canyon. "Are you okay, Aurora?" Scar asked.

"Yeah.. I'm good." Aurora said as she dismounted Snow.

"Nice rescue attempt but those two are more cunning than they look." Shear stated.

"Shear's right. We need another plan to save your friends and their dragons." Scar agreed. Aurora felt a little guilty about failing to save her friends. "Y-You guys try and think of something.. I-I need some time to myself..." and she started walking away, "Aurora?" Scar asked and was about to follow her when Shear put a paw on his shoulder, "I think she needs to be alone for a minute.."

Shadow cooed sadly at his surrogate daughter, but he knew she could think of something. Aurora walked through the forest, "I tried to save them, but I wasn't good enough... what am I gonna do now...?" she sat on a cliff and she started to sing.

Why, why even trust me at all.
I had a plan to save them
But turns out that was a bust

She walked down the cliff, wonder what to do next.

Now what, what should I do?
And who, who do I turn to?
Now everything feels so upside down.

She looked in the water and saw her reflection.

Deep down maybe I knew

"Maria." a voice called. Maria turned around and saw a stone dragon landing in front of her. It was stone gray and green on the top of it's body. It had three horns on the top of it's head and a rounded tail. "You're a Sentinel dragon..." Aurora gasped in awe. She hasn't seen any Sentinels' in the wild before.

"Yes, I am..." the dragon replied.

"You can talk?" Aurora asked. The Sentinel nodded, "To you, all dragons can speak their thoughts. Just the start of your many powers."

"My powers?" Aurora asked confused.

"That Amulet that you found holds incredible powers.." the Sentinel stated. Aurora looked at the Amulet on her neck. "The Amulet responds to good deeds and follows this rule; For each deed performed for better or worse a power is granted a blessing or curse.."

Aurora nodded and she explained to the Sentinel, "My friends have been captured by two dragon hunters. I tried to save them, but I was in over my head and now... I feel like I failed.." she said in a dejected tone.

"Do not lose hope, Aurora. Trust your instincts. Your power and your dragons will be there for you when you need them. And so will I until the Archipelago's end." The Sentinel spread it's wings and flew off. "Sentinel, wait! Don't go yet!" Aurora called but the dragon was already gone. However, she remembered what the Sentinel said.

"Trust my instincts. My dragons and powers will be there when I need them." Maria said to herself.

Maybe my journey is far from done
They need a hero, and I'm the one
So now it's time for them all to see
The viking I was born to be
It is time to take the lead on my own

A mark in the shape of a Night Fury symbol appeared on her cheek.

With her confidence restored, Aurora went back to her friends, "Alright guys... I have a new plan..." she smirked earning smiles from her friends.

The remaining Flyers and hunter regrouped near the captured Death Songs. The Death Songs were screeching in pain from the hunter's spears. "Stop that, you're hurting them." Zenna growled.

Krogen laughed, "Pain is just part of the game." Zenna growled in anger. If only she was free she could beat the living yak dung out of him. "Remind me why are we keeping them alive again?" Krogen asked.

"Because they're needed to lure the girl out into the open." Viggo said in a calm voice.

"If that you're only reason, Viggo?" Tuffnut suddenly asked, confusing Viggo. "What do you mean?" he asked.

"We saw the way you looked at Aurora when she fought. A rugged hunter like you and more rugged women like her." Ruffnut smirked. "Somebody's in love~"

"No, no, no, you two are dead wrong.." Viggo growled, making Ruff and Tuff laugh, "Denial is the clincher, you're in love dragon boy!" Tuffnut called.

"Viggo and Aurora sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G~" the two twins sang.

"Oh, real mature.." Viggo deadpanned at the two.

Then...

"Hey...!" Viggo and Krogen turned and saw Aurora coming back into the canyon.

"Ah, so you came back..." Krogen smirked. "Ready to surrender?"

"No... I propose a deal for you two.." Aurora stated as she slowly circled the two, "You two release the Death Songs and my friends, along with their dragons and I'll let you two leave with your reputations in tact.." Viggo and Krogen narrowed their eyes at her, "Sorry my dear, but that deal does not benefit me as a business man." Viggo declined.

Aurora then turned to him, "Then I guess, I have no choice..." Aurora snapped her fingers and two Slitherwing dragons came slithering into the canyon and came beside her. "Ah, Slitherwings.. impressive, but not good enough. Death Songs!" Krogen ordered and the Death Songs sprayed their amber on them... but it didn't stick. "What?!"

"Calculating error Krogen; Know which dragons have an advantage over Death Songs... NOW!" The Slitherwings roared and charged forth, forcing Krogen and Viggo to dodge them. Shadow, Snow and Midnight came flying over the canyon and blasted the other hunters and flyers. Scar and Shear tackled some of them to the ground and roared in their faces. Pouncer, Dart and Ruffunner flew over to the trapped group. "Pouncer, Dart, Ruffrunner..!" Zenna gasped.

The little Night Lights chirped and tired their plasma blasts on the amber, but it didn't crack or melt. The Slitherwings roared and chased the remaining Flyers and Hunters away and Aurora rushed over and slashed the chains off of the Death Songs, setting them free, "There.. you're free now.." Aurora cooed at them and the twelves dragons roared in a musical way as if saying 'thank you'.

Krogen was not amused at all with this. He began to move towards Hiccup and Zenna. Aurora turned around and saw this, "Hey!" she called. Krogen faced her while pointing a knife at the two. "One more move and they are dead." he threatened.

"NO!" Aurora cried and something inside of her... snapped. The symbol on her cheek glowed and large clouds started to roll in. "What is happening?" Fishlegs asked in fear.

"Maybe it Thor?" Gobber asked.

".. Let.. them.. GOOOOO!" Aurora cried and she let out a Night Fury roar and the clouds behind her turned into four roaring dragons as well, A Monstrous Nightmare, Night Fury, Nadder and Skrill heads formed in the clouds and roared with her. Everyone was in the utmost shocked, even Viggo and Krogen as he dropped the knife in shock.

Aurora roared again and approached Krogen. "Next time you threaten my family... think twice." she roared right in his face and the wind sent him and the Dragon Hunters and Flyers flying off of the island!

"Holy Shields!" Zenna cried.

"Awesome!" Snotlout exclaimed.

"Odin's beard!" Stoick added.

Viggo was the only one left, "It's over Viggo, now leave..." Aurora growled with the Death Songs hissing at him now.

"It's over for now, Aurora.." Viggo hissed. "But I'll admit.. you're a worthy opponent..." and with that he exited the canyon. Midnight and the other dragons roared in victory. "That's how we do it!" Shear cheered.

"Yeah baby!" Scar added. The Death Songs cooed and looked at Aurora, "Now, can you free my friends and their dragons please?" she asked them. The Death Songs cooed and soon they broke everyone and every dragon out of their cocoons. "Now, you twelve go on, you're free..."

The Death Songs cooed and they flew out of the canyon, "Come on.. let's get you all back home.." Aurora said, smiling at her friends.

Soon, everyone was back on Berk. "Aurora.. that was incredible!" Hiccup exclaimed in joy. Toothless roared in a agreement.

"It sure was." Fishlegs said. "I never knew you could do that."

"How did you do that?" Snotlout asked. Aurora looked at her Amulet with a smile.

"Let's just say, it has something to do with necklace I found..." Aurora replied.

"Well, you and your friends saved us once again." Stoick grinned.

"Looks like you're last day on Berk, for now, ended with a bang, huh?" Astrid smirked, earning a chuckle from Aurora.

"Yep. And now its time I get back to my Sanctuary." Aurora said, mounting Shadow.

"Maybe we can come and visit you?" Hiccup suggested. Aurora chuckled, "Maybe, Hiccup. Just maybe.." Shadow hovered in the air while Shear and Scar got on Snow and Midnight, "See you guys later...!" Aurora called as the group flew off back to the Sanctuary.

"Bye Aurora!" Zenna called.

"Come back soon..!" Hiccup added.

"I will.." Aurora called back as she and her dragons flew off into the sunlight.
