In a dark room set a man watching the interviews with the Avengers, he growled when the camera zoomed in on Bruce Banner.
He growled and threw a glass at the TV
At the mansion Bruce and Artemis were running test "it seems like the memories from the Hulk are repressed, you don't want to remember them" Artemis said
Bruce nodded "plus we might need to make you some clothes that stay on when you become the Hulk" Artemis said "you think you can become the Hulk, so I can get measurements"
Bruce looked scared "I don't think that's a good idea" he said
Artemis rolled her eyes, grabbing his hand and led him to an empty space in the lab "hey, the big guy loves me" she said "now turn"
Artemis walked back some as Bruce sighed and turned into the Hulk
"Hey Hulky" Artemis smiled at him and Hulk smiled back "Arty" he said
"Yeah, now fella, a light will come over you but it's not going to hurt you alright" Artemis explained
Hulk nodded so Yinsen began the scan him and Artemis looked at the computer when it was done "alright all finished" she smiled
Hulk set down as Artemis began looking over the scan "Artemis" Clint said coming in with Peter
Artemis looked up "easy Hulk, he's friend" she said seeing the giant getting scared
Clint looked at him "Artemis why" he began
"Scans, now what" Artemis said taking her godson
"Nothing just bringing Peter to you, Jasmine wants to go shoot" Clint said
Artemis nodded giving him a kiss then he left
Artemis set Peter down "I'll be right back okay" she said to the two then walked to get some paper
When she came back to her desk she stopped shocked seeing Peter in the Hulk's hand holding onto one of his fingers
"Hulk, that's my son Peter" Artemis explained
Hulk huffed blowing air onto Peter, causing him to laugh "Hulk, can I take a picture" Artemis asked and Hulk nodded
Artemis smiled grabbing a camera and took a picture of them, seems Peter's going to have all the Avengers wrapped around his finger. Salt told her what when on between Thor and Peter on the Helicarrier and Steve had taken a liking to him when he was helping Clint watch him.
A few days later Grammy set in the park watching he daughter and granddaughter throwing the Frisbee to each other. Fury came a day ago and took Coulson somewhere, he wouldn't tell them so the family was enjoying a nice day at the park.
Grammy looked up when someone set beside her "Bruce" she said shocked
Bruce smiled at her "hello Miss Steward" he greeted
"Grammy, please, you're a hero now, you can call me Grammy" she smiled
Bruce nodded "alright Grammy" he said
"So what brings you here" she asked
"I have been on the run from General Ross for a while and I don't see Ross sitting back watching me get treated like a hero" he said
Grammy smiled "Bruce, he won't get past the siblings" she said "you're family to them and they protect their family, it's a trait they get from their mother"
Bruce smiled at that and they began watching Salt and Jasmine "heads up" Salt called just as the Frisbee landed by Bruce's feet
"Come on big guy, throw it back" Jasmine called
Bruce stood while picking the disk up and threw it to them "why don't you go play with them" Grammy asked pushing him to them
Salt smiled and threw the disk accidentally hitting him in the face "I'm sorry" she said and Bruce breathed for a second then nodded "I'm alright" he said throwing it
In a building overlooking the park set a sniper with it trained on the group as the picture of the target set propped up beside him.
He smirked but as he was about to shoot he heard a gun cocking "I wouldn't do that" someone said from behind him
The sniper turned around and saw a man standing there "idiot, you can't have a sniper pointed at Jasmine, without her knowing" he said then saw the picture "what was you planning to shoot Salt then have the Hulk come out to play"
"I just got orders to severely injure Addison Mercer when Dr. Banner was around" the sniper said
The man nodded then punched him, knocking him out "stupid move" he said tying him up and put him over his shoulder
The sniper woke up only to be in an interrogation room with the man that knocked him out and Artemis
The sniper looked between them then gasped, seeing the resemblance to an old deadly duo "Mercenary Eric Tate" Artemis read sitting down "meet Agent Grant Ward, he grew up with the woman you tried to shoot"
Eric gulped as Agent Ward smirked "now how about you tell me who hired you and I won't leave you two alone with the cameras and mikes disabled" Artemis asked "and you have 10 seconds"
Eric looked between the two as Artemis counted down and Ward began cracking his knuckles
When Artemis got to one she shrugged and stood up "I'll give you two minutes" she said opening the door
"I never got a name it was an old dude dressed in a military uniform smoking a cigar" he blurted as Ward got close to him
The two agents looked at each other and Artemis closed the door
She set back down and pulled out a picture "is this the person" she asked
Eric took it then nodded "yeah, that's him" he said
Artemis smirked standing up "thank you" she said walking to the door "he's all yours, Agent Ward" she said leaving
Pepper walked into Stark Tower, renamed Avenger Tower, and noticed General Ross at the front desk.
She sighed and walked up to him "I'll take it from here, Cindy" she said then turned to Ross "General Ross"
Ross looked at her "I demand you hand over the Hulk to the US military immediately" he said
Pepper smiled "Cindy, can you get the siblings here and tell them to meet me in the main floor meeting room" she said and Cindy nodded
Artemis and Tony walked into the room with their game faces on, no one's taking their science bro away "thank you Ms. Potts, that'll be all" Tony said and Pepper nodded leaving the room with a smile.
The siblings set down beside each other "now what seems to be the problem" Tony asked
"The Hulk is property of the US military" Ross said "and he needs to be turned over to us now"
"The Hulk is the alter-ego of Dr. Bruce Banner and I don't feel right turning a person over to be dissected" Artemis said "and I don't take kindly to people using military funding to pay a mercenary named Eric Tate to injure my assistant"
Ross stuttered at that "I don't know what you're talking about" he said
Artemis raised an eyebrow as Clint came in holding a file "thank you" she said as Clint placed the file on the table then stood behind them acting as a bodyguard
Tony slid the file over to himself "wow, all this man power used to capture Bruce" he began "some that wasn't even rightfully approved"
"Like some of our old weapons" Artemis said "and un-icing of the super soldier project that wasn't supposed to"
Ross glared at them "now if you don't want this to get out, I suggest you stop coming after Bruce, this is the only time we'll ask nicely" Tony said standing up "now if you excuse us we have a meeting to attend"
"Agent Barton, can escort you out" Tony smirked leaving Ross with Clint
Ross stalked into his office, grabbed a file and began looking for better help.
He smirked when he found one and placed the call
The Avengers laid on the mansion roof by the pool lounging around.
Nat was helping Steve get caught up with everything, Tony and Bruce were talking science, while Clint and Artemis were going over arrow ideas.
On a roof across the road someone was watching them while frowning looking between the red head and the couple on the roof, he then gasped hurry away, he's not stupid enough to attack the terrible trio.
By the pool the trio looked at each other amused
Grammy walked into the oval office and smiled at the president "Ms. Steward" he smiled standing up to give her a hug
"Please call me Lily" she said sitting down
He nodded "so tell me what brings you all the way here" he asked
"An army general" Grammy said
"It's not the same one that was flirting with Jasmine again is it" he asked "there's only so many times, I can let her get away with breaking his arm"
Grammy shook her head "no, it's one that has been tracking the Hulk since he was made" she said
The president frowned "I thought that search was called off, the Hulk hasn't been seen since the Harlem incident until now" he said going to his computer
He looked it up and nodded "yes it has"
Grammy smirked "so General Ross has been working outside the US Army" she asked
"Yes" he said handing her a file "so what has he done now"
"Sending mercenary's and assassins to injury one of the Avengers to produce a Hulk out but they never fire a shot because of the Black Widow, Hawkeye and the first Sparrow" Grammy replied looking at the file.
"I'll have him dishonorably discharged for this" the president said "sending people to attack the Avengers"
Grammy nodded standing up "do you mind if I take this" she asked
"Not at all, it's always a pleasure Lily" he smiled hugging her "if you'll inform the Avengers of my decision"
Grammy smiled kissing his cheek "of course" she said leaving
Artemis set in her office with her feet on the desk humming while compiling a list of people allowed to come up and visit her when Tony came in
"Grammy just gave me good news" he smirked "Ross is being dishonorably discharged"
"I know, just like I know there's a sniper that he hired across the building with the back of my head in his crosshairs" Artemis replied
Tony raised an eyebrow "how many does this make" he asked
"On me, three" Artemis replied "but in all 10"
Tony rolled his eyes "is this one actually gonna fire" he asked
"He stayed longer than the others" Artemis shrugged "mainly he hadn't had a clear shot"
Tony nodded at that as Artemis placed the list down and he took it "why did you make this" he asked
"Because now that Happy's head of security he's been more urg" Artemis replied looking at her phone
Tony nodded "good idea" he said "so which one got him"
"Ace is over there, he's hanging around for Salt's birthday" Artemis replied as Tony added to the list
Tony left taking the list with him
Ward dragged the new sniper into the interrogation room "Ross is actually doing us a favor" he said to Hill
Hill nodded at that "yeah but by now he would have got his discharge papers" she said
"I'm surprised he didn't hire the Winter Soldier" Ward said
"I can see that going over well" Hill muttered "first he's Russian and that would be treason to hire Winter Soldier, and Winter Soldier won't take a job that requires him to kill Carbonell"
"Why is that anyway" Ward asked
"That's one messed up thing I don't want to figure out" Hill stated walking away
Ward thought for a second then nodded, he's been on a mission with Carbonell when they ran into Winter Soldier. He learnt from Salt that Winter Soldier is the only one besides her brother and godmother that Artemis shows emotion around
Grammy set in a chair with Clint behind her in his full uniform "I notice I'm almost always you bodyguard" he smirked as they waited
Grammy shrugged "I don't trust anyone else, besides Grant but he's busy, in most situations" she said "plus you're build like one"
Ross entered his office pissed, everyone he hires either doesn't come back or comes back scared saying they're not stupid enough to take out a member of the Terrible Trio
He looked towards his desk and saw an old woman and the Avenger Hawkeye standing behind her
"General Ross, nice to meet you" she smiled at the man
"Who are you and why are you in my office" Ross demanded
The woman stood up "my name's Lillian Steward" she said and smiled when she saw Ross face.
She has a lot of pull in the military "and I just wanted to meet the man that's been sending assassins and mercenaries after my family"
Clint came up behind her "and that'll be all" Grammy said walking to the door "oh Ross, if you send anyone else after my family, which now includes Bruce, I'll show you why I was respected in the Howling Commandos" she threw over her shoulder
Grammy walked out nodding to the soldiers passing by
Once they were outside, Clint slide his glasses on and held the door of the car open for her "so where to Grammy" he asked once he was behind the wheel
"Mansion, Clinton" she replied
"Make me sound like chauffeur there Grammy" he muttered
"I could get you a hat if you like" Grammy laughed
Clint pulled into the mansion's garage and was met by Steve "hey Captain, I thought you were leaving for DC" Clint stated as Steve helped Grammy out of the car
"I am, but Artemis said there's a place that I would love but she wants to show me pictures and if I like it, adjust it for me" Steve replied
Clint nodded as Grammy smiled, since it's was originally Tony's idea but he doesn't like showing his softer side to people so Artemis does it for him
They walked into the living room where Salt and Ward was "Cap" Salt greeted "Meet my brother Agent Grant Ward"
Ward nodded as Steve looked between Salt and Ward seeing Lily and Bucky for a second
"We know we look like our grandparents standing together" they said
Steve nodded so the siblings walked to the shooting range
"Jasmine's son from her second marriage" Clint informed him
"What happen to her first husband?"
"Assassinated, when Salt was seven" Grammy told him "second husband's in a high security prison"
Steve looked shocked "why" he asked
"That's for Jasmine to tell you" Grammy said
Artemis was back in her lab looking over Winter Soldiers files again before she got pissed and threw it away from her
She's been looking at the same information and still hasn't figured it out
She looked through her mom's trunk again and spotted some film
She set up the project and played it after she got a drink
"Hello future child of mine" Maria said sitting in front of the camera "I'm making you this video now because I just felt like it"
Artemis smiled at that so their mother is were Tony gets his rash decisions from
"Now I have three of the best friends that I'm sorry for because they are gonna be in your life, the one I'm mainly sorry for is Nikko."
"Hey" was heard off-screen
"You know it's true" Maria yelled back
"That doesn't mean you have to say it"
"Sweetheart, what are you doing" someone else called
"Making a video for my future kid, sweetcheeks now shut it" Maria called back
Artemis set up at that
"I got a message for them" someone said appearing behind her "hello future child of my sweetheart, most likely be my godchild, I just want to say I will spoil you and have you give your mother hell"
"Who said I was naming you godfather of any of my kids" Maria slapped his chest
He just laughed kissing her cheek then turned to smile at the camera
Artemis choked on her drink seeing the man's face "son of a bitch" she coughed "is anyone in that family normal"
