Aurora's POV

I have come a long way since being found by Shadow and being raised by him. I've discovered many things about my self and made many friends; both dragon and not, but what he was about to do today would force me to make a decision that could change my life forever..

It all started this morning...

Meet me in the Cove

That's when I heard Zenna yawn, "Aurora, what is it?" she asked groggily.

"The Sentinal wants to meet me in the Cove for some reason." I replied. Sleep was completely erased from Zenna's mind and she leaped out of bed. "I'll get everyone together." and she ran out of the door.

"Wonder what the Sentinel wants?" I thought to myself.

Soon, Zenna had gathered everyone and we were all at the Cove in no time. That's when the Sentinal descended. "Good you are all here."

"What is it, Sentinel. Is something wrong?" Hiccup asked.

"Nothing is wrong. I just came to say that Maria has perfected some of her Amulet's abilities in the short time she's had it."

Snotlout scoffed, "What did you expect she's a Berkian."

Astrid gave him a hard nudge. "Ow."

"Yes that is true. But there something you all must know. There is great darkness in the near future."

"A great darkness?" Edgar repeated.

"Yes and this Darkness shall threaten every dragon and viking in the Archipelago."

"Oh my gods." Hiccup gasped.

"What is this Great Darkness?" Zenna asked.

"I cannot tell. It's only a flicker now but it shall grow and when it does, Maria must be prepared."

"Of course she'll be prepared." Stoick said.

"I'm afraid Aurora needs more attention to her training in order for her to fully master all of it's powers and defeat the Great Darkness to become the Queen of Dragons... for that Aurora must come with me... to the ancestral home of the all Dragons... the Hidden World." We all gasped in shock.

Me.. leave Berk... and go to the Hidden World?

"I shall leave you to make your decision. I will return at sundown.." The Sentinel said and then flew off into the sky, leaving us in shocked silence.

Back at home, I was just sitting on my bed... thinking.

If I left to go and train, I would be leaving my family and friends, dragons and non dragons behind for Gods know how long... but on the other hand, I'd learn everything about my Amulet and get more experience for when I become the Queen of Dragons.

I sighed exasperatedly and covered my face with the pillow. I heard Zenna, Mom and Dad come in. "Sis, are you alright?" Zenna asked me.

I sighed, "No... I'm.. conflicted. I know this training if very important but... I can't leave you guys, especially since I don't know how long I'll be gone."

"Honey, we'll be fine while you're gone. I have to go." Mom said, much to my surprise.

"Mom?"

"You've shown you can do incredible things with your Amulet and your dragons... going to this training session in the Hidden World will be an amazing opportunity for you to see what your future will be when you become Queen. Like the Sentinel said, there is a great darkness soon and you need to be prepared... and this chance will give you the hope you need." I let Mom's words sink in and my dad joined in,

"But what about all the other dragons.. and Scar and Shear?" Aurora asked.

"We can handle them and ourselves while you are gone. You just go and become the Queen we all see inside of you, my precious diamond." My eyes filled with tears and I hugged my parents. Zenna and Stryka joined in on the hug as well.

"You'll be just fine, little sis." she whispered in my ear. "Now go and become what you were meant to be."

I looked at the four of them and I nodded. "... Alright... I'll go."

Soon, my family had packed me everything I would need. Shadow, Midnight, Snow, Pouncer, Dart, Ruffrunner, Moon, Luna, Eclipse, Winter, Snowheart and Crystal all immediately stated they would come with me to the Hidden World and my family and friends approved.

Soon it was sundown and Viggo, Stoick, Gobber, Mom, Dad, Zenna, Hiccup and his friends and everyone in Berk was in front of the Great Hall as the Sentinel descended down. "I trust you made your decision?"

"Yes Sentinel... I'll go to the Hidden World for training." I said.

The Sentinel smiled and I turned my friends and family. Hiccup and his friends gave me one last group hug. "Take good care, Aurora." Astrid said.

"Be careful out there." Fishlegs said.

"Bring me back a dragon will you?" Snotlout asked, getting a slap on his helmet by the twins. "OW!"

"Ignore him." Tuff said.

"Yeah, go train your butt off and come back ready to kick the darkness' tail!" Ruff added. I giggled a little and Stoick and Gobber walked forward.

"Take good care of her, Sentinel." Stoick said to the Sentinel."

"I give you my word, Chief Stoick." The Sentinel stated.

"Take good care, lass. Come back in one piece." Gobber said.

"I will Gobber." I stated. My family came up and hugged me. "We love you Aurora." They all said.

"I love you all too." I said with tears in my eyes. I wiped them away as Viggo came up to me and we hugged, "You'll be alright without me, right?" I asked him.

"I'll be fine.." Viggo replied. "I'll keep an eye on Krogen, Alvin and Dagur while you're away."

I nodded at him and walked over to the Sentinel and mounted him. His skin actually felt like stone! He spread his wings and flew off over the sea and I heard everyone in Berk saying their goodbyes to me as we all flew away from Berk off to the Hidden World.

We were very very very far out into the sea and two nights have passed and we were still flying through the air.

"Sentinel... are we close yet?" I asked with a yawn.

"Look up ahead." The Sentinel said. I looked ahead and saw a large cloud of steam and heard loud rushing water. The Sentinel flew over it and it was a very very large waterfall.

"Woah..." I gasped.

"Incredible..." Midnight added with awe.

The Sentinel and my dragons dove in and we came out in Caldera area. They all flew through a tunnel that lead to a Mushroom Forest. There were tall rocks with glowing fungi and mushroom all over the rocks, glowing in different colors; green, orange you name it.

"Woah... this is beautiful." I gasped.

"Wait until you see King/Queen's Island." The Sentinel said.

"The King and Queen Island?" I asked.

We entered a large part of the Hidden world were there were large caverns all around and plants with small planks on them with water dripping down from them like mini waterfalls and to act and there were lots and lots of dragons. Every dragon that had ever existed!

"That's a lot of dragons..." I gasped.

The Sentinel flew over all the dragons who were roaring with glee at the sight of me. The Sentinel landed on a large crystal at the center of the Hidden World.

I dismounted the Sentinel and I spread my wings. All of the dragons were thrilled to see me and my dragons.

I looked at the Sentinel beside me and he smiled.

"Now... your training.. shall begin..." As I looked at all the dragons in the Hidden World... I knew that I was in for a big adventure when I returned to Berk... whenever that would be.
