Chapter 1 Uraraka

I pulled on my pink galaxy crop top to pair with my black leggings and pink sneakers. I touch up my makeup and then stare at myself in the mirror.

I look super cute!

Mina would be so happy I finally wore the crop top she gave me. I walk out of the bathroom and slowly to my room "Ochaco! Breakfast is getting cold!" The sound of my dad calling me, made me jump, and I ran into my bedroom. My heart's pounding out of my chest and I felt my face heat up like a Sauna.

Damit!

I buried my head into my hands.

I wear muscle tee all the time when I go to the gym with Deku I don't get why I get so embarrassed with a crop top

I walk over to my wall mirror and stare at myself.

Ugh, I can't do it!

I take off my shirt and open the closet for a new outfit. I ended up wearing high-waisted black shorts with a pink mock-neck short-sleeved shirt. I change my shoes to black and wore pink knee-high socks. I smile as I look at myself in the mirror.

Still cute!

I grab my backpack and look at the crop top on my bed. One day… one day I'll wear it!

As I walk into the school, I see Deku walking alone reading from some flashcards. I smile and run up to him "Hey Deku!" He jumped making his flashcards fall on the ground. "Oh, Hey Uraraka!"

"Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" I knelt down to help him pick up his flashcards. He rushes to the ground and grabs them all before I could even help "Um, you okay?" I asked confused, Deku looks more anxious than he usually is. He smiles awkwardly at me "Y-yeah I just-" he shoves his cards into his backpack and stuck out his hand to help me up. I took it. "I don't want your clothes getting dirty." He said looking a little calmer. I smile up at him.

It's so like Deku to be considerate like that! "You wanna come with me? I'm going to see Kaa-chan before class to give him his present."

Present?

"Oh! Its Bakugou's birthday! I completely forgot."

"Well, he doesn't take gifts so easily anyway so." I pull a show in front of him about being sad that I forgot, Bakugou's an enormous asshole especially to Deku so excuse me for not caring. I show Deku I care. Because of some strange reason Bakugou is a treasured friend to his.

"Okay then!" I link my arm with Deku's and pointed forward

"Let's go!"

"R-right!"

At the courtyard, Deku and I see Bakugou sitting on top of a picnic table. Next to him is Mina who was lying on her belly messing with Kaminari. The two were being obnoxiously loud. Next to Kaminari is Kirishima, his body faced Kaminari with each leg on either side of the bench, but his head turns towards Bakugou. However, the last members of their group were nowhere to be seen.

They were known as the Bakusquad and you don't ever wanna fuck with them. Because if you ever did, they all would attack you with full force. They may not be the smartest kids in school but if you test them, they will hurt you 10 times harder, and so no one came near them in fear of some of the most outlandish rumors that I've ever heard.

Butttttt if you knew them like Deku and I did, they all just act before they speak, they mean no harm.

Well, I can't speak on Bakugou's behalf.

I honestly think they got those rumors because Bakugou is a hotheaded Lil' shit ever. I still don't get why Deku wants to be his friend.

This is the first time I seen him or even talked to him since last year. But don't get me wrong, If he starts a fight with Deku I won't hesitate to defend him. "Hey, Kaa-chan!"

"Hah? What you want, loser?" I feel as if it started off as an insult but somehow changed into a pet name. Kirishima lightly hit Bakugou's leg "Hey be nice, he obviously here for you." Deku pulls out a small box and hands it to Bakugou "Happy Birthday!" He grabs the gift from Deku and mumbles thanks as he puts it into his bag.

"Awwww you guys are so cute! You'd make the cutest couple!" Bakugou tsked and with eyes filled with anger he makes a fist to hit Mina on the head for her comment but she moved out of the way and hits Kaminari on the head

"Ow! What the fuck! I didn't even say anything!"

"I don't fucking care! Someone had to get hit for that!" The two fight, while Kirishima tries to get in the middle of it. Mina runs over to Uraraka "Hey girl! You're not in the crop…" I almost forgot I sent Mina a picture of my outfit this morning.

"Yeah. Haha sorry lost my nerves."

"Aw but you have such a nice body though! It looked so hot on you!" Mina pulls out her phone from her bra and taps away on it to open up the picture I sent her. She flips her phone and shoves it in Deku's face.

"Isn't she hot?"

"W-what? I-I don't know!" Deku stumbles on his words with his face bright red. "See he got all flustered, that's a definite yes!"

"Come on Mina…" I say pushing her phone away from Deku's face.

"Hey, Uraraka." I look behind Mina to see Bakugou, who called out to me.

What does he want?

"You shouldn't send her pictures you don't want others to see, cause she showed all of us."

"Mina!" She laughs sheepishly and slides her phone in her pocket "You said you were gonna wear it so I figured I'd get the guys prepared, you know Kaminari can get." I felt slightly disgusted and offended but I know Mina doesn't mean it in any ill way. So I just let out a sigh.

"What's that supposed to mean! I don't like her like that!" Kaminari yells at Mina sounding put on the spot and slightly annoyed. Mina smirks and looks at him, "Dude that boner can be seen a mile away!"

"Mm. Mm. That's true." Kirishima says with his arms crossed and eyes closed as he nods his head.

"Aw come on Kirishima! Not you too!" As the two continued to tease Kaminari, Bakugou stands up and walks towards me "Anyway I don't know if you're just insecure or what but you looked confident in that outfit and not slutty at all. Not like Mina." Somehow between the commotion in the back, Mina heard Bakugou and turns around with a pout, "Hey! Don't call me slutty!"

"I'll stop calling slutty when you wear a top that actually covers your breast." Kirishima and Kaminari ooohed her

"I'm a lady you have to show me some respect!"

"Isn't lady a stretch?" Kirishima's mouth drops and Kaminari dies laughing.

"Hey guys, we better get to class. See ya!"

"Bye, guys! And thanks Bakugou for the compliment." He turns and gives me a warm smile, "Anytime."

My chest feels so tight and I don't know why. I felt as if my heart would beat out of me. That my whole being melted at the sight of his smile. Bakugou's smiles are usually evil or malicious, but this one had a warmth to it.

"Sorry about Kaa-chan... He may come off aggressive but he is nice and means well, his words just don't show it sometimes."

"Yeah, but he seemed nicer today. Don't you think?" Deku blinks twice in confusion, "No? He's always been like that." He says as we keep walking I look down completely conflicted.

Do I really have a crush on my best friend's bully?

My heart burns, I'm not sure if it's because Bakugou's warm smile has engraved into my head and it's all I can think about, or if me feeling something or even looking at him in a unique light is somehow, berating Deku.

Could I have really fallen for the school's most hotheaded asshole?
