It's been a year since I became Queen of the Dragons. I've faced many dangers along the way and each one revealed another hidden power inside of me and my Amulet of Dragons. But this time, I will have to reveal the sacred place where I did my training.

It all began this one day...

We were all flying back to Berk with a new shipment of dragon rescued from hunters in the area. Zenna, Hiccup and my friends rescued many many dragons and I've made them all homes on Berk. From Scauldron to Gronckles, Nadders and Monstrous Nightmares, all dragons were brought to Berk. I made dragon huts for each of the dragons and expanded the vikings' hut.

We landed in the center of Berk were all the dragons were being examined by Valka. Gobber then noticed the purple Hobgobbler, "Aah! You brought back a Hobgobbler. They're a bad omen. We're cursed."

Hiccup and Zenna laughed. "Gobber, don't say that. They're fine." My mom said as she dad and their maroon-purple potted Zippleback, Serpent and Serpentine came over.

"Nonsense. What harm could he do?" Valka said as she looked over it. "No injuries. They're all a little shaken, but otherwise healthy. Now, who's hungry?"

Inside the Great Hall, there were lots of dragons and Vikings are eating. The dragons are flying all over the place. "Point is, you can't keep bringing dragons back here." Gobber said.

Gothi, while sitting on her staff being flown by her flock of Terrible Terrors, flies by and lightly shocks Gobber."Aah!"

Snotlout chased after one, "Come on, boy!"

"You're just asking for trouble." Gobber added. My parents were following behind us.

Zenna, Hiccup and I stop walking and makes Gobber, Mom, Dad stop as a Berkian chases a Scuttleclaw carrying a fish of his possession, passing Hiccup, and Gobber. They continue walking after they have passed, "No, you don't, you little thief!"

"I have to agree with Gobber, honey." My Dad said.

"Those Trappers are getting closer by the day." My mom chimed in. Gobber lifts a Zippleback's tail up so they can walk under it.

"We can handle them. We have the Queen. Ain't that right, Aurora? Would you look at how happy they are?" Hiccup said. Valka and Spitelout are having an arm wrestle. Valka wins the arm wrestle, making Spitelout angry and Valka laugh. "She's awesome." Snotlout stated.

"That's my wife.." Stoick laughed with pride.

"Gobber, relax. We did it. The world's first dragon-Viking utopia. We made the dream a reality." Hiccup said.

"Yeah and its incredible.." Zenna added.

"Your dream, maybe. Mine's less crowded and more..." The Hobgobbler is floating inside of a cauldron. "Aah! Sanitary."

"Gobber, you're not fooling anybody. I know you love them." The Hobgobbler is still floating in the cauldron but Maria scares it, which makes it swim out of the cauldron.

"You're supposed to be the generation that leads us into the future." Tuffnut is trying to get his plate back from Barf's mouth. But after he takes it back, Tuffnut accidentally makes the food fly over to Snotlout, making Snotlout think Tuffnut wants a food fight.

"Ha-ha! Food fight!" Snotloud cried but Stoick clears his throat, "Fine." he grumbled as the group ate some food got smacked into Gobbers face. "Ugh... not helping. Stop worrying about the problem out there.." he put hsi arm around Astrid and Hiccup. "Gobber.." Astrid whined as she tried to get out.

"And start focusing on the problem in here."

"Alright alright, I'll think about it.." Hiccup's muffled voice came.

"Hang up those saddles and get married." Gobber said and evreyone stopped. "The 'M' word." Tuffnut said.

"Gross, unless it me." Ruffnut said before she threw some food in her brothers face.

"Start acting like a royal couple." Gobber said. "Zenna's already married to Eret and we all know Aurora's gonna marry Viggo."

"HUH?!" Viggo and I exclaimed in unsion.

"How do you know we'll get married?!" I gasped. My mom and dad chuckled along with Elias, "Honey, we known that since day one." My dad smirked.

"Sorry honey.." My mom teased. Viggo and I blushed until we heard, "Aurora! Hiccup!"

"Eret, son of Eret. What's the report?" Hiccup asked after finally getting out of Gobber's embrace.

"Two more trapper barges spotted in the strait." Eret said.

"So we go after them." Hiccup said. Eret nodded and Hiccup turned around and looks at Gobber who doesn't look surprised with Hiccup's response. "What?"

"One day, you're gonna pick a fight you can't win." Gobber said. Mom and Dad looked at each other and their dragon Serpent and Serpentine came and nuzzled them.

Later that day, it was dusk and Hiccup, Zenna and I were overlooking Berk from a tall hill. Snow, Midnight, their family, and Toothless came over and Astrid landed beside us on Stormfly. "So this is where you three go to get away from Gobber." she teased.

She dismounted Stormfly and the three dragons began to play with each other. "It does seem like the whole world knows about us now." Zenna said.

"Yep. And the more dragons we bring back here, the bigger of a target we become." Astrid said. "I just wish there was some way to make them leave us alone."

"There might be. The Hidden World." Hiccup said. "It could be the answer to all out problems."

"How? By moving the dragons there?" Astrid asked.

"Uh-uh. All of us." Hiccup said.

"But Hiccup, remember, it will be Aurora's kingdom one day." Zenna reminded. "So it will be her choice." I rubbed the back of my head. I was unsure if I was ready to be Queen just yet. "I'm gonna go.. take a flight." I spread my wings and flew of of the cliff and into the forest.

I landed in the forest and walked into a clearing. I stopped walking and just sat down. I looked at the moon in the sky. "Will I ever be a good Queen as Grandmom? Can I... handle it?" I sighed once more, still unsure of myself and my destiny.

The next morning, I woke up in my house to see Shadow, my Titan Wing Dramillion father in my face. "Hi Shadow." Shadow warbled and cooed happily. I yawned and got out of bed and headed outside to the Blacksmith Shop where I found Gobber, Hiccup, Zenna, Eret and Mom and Dad. I saw Hiccup had a weird dart in his hands. "Someone's here." he said.

"Huh?" My mom and Dad asked.

"He managed to slip past our scouts and lay a trap in the woods."

"Let me at 'em!" Gobber said.

"Slow down, Gobber." My mom said. "Let's get a search team on the ground. Scouts in the air."

Eret and Viggo were inspecting the dart for themselves. "Yeah. I wouldn't advise taking the dragons anywhere, Ms. Fiersome." Viggo said.

"Viggo's right. I know this handy work. Grimmel the Grisly. Famous back where I'm from. The smartest dragon hunter I ever met. Well, next to me of course." Eret added.

"Well, he can't be that smart. He left his trap unmanned." Zenna said.

Eret hands the dart to Astrid and she inspects it too. "Haha. Nothing's accidental when it comes to old Grimmel. He lives for the hunt, to get inside the mind of his prey, to control its every choice. It's all a game to him."

"Well, he doesn't know who he's playing with." Astrid said.

"Yeah. We've dealt with his kind before." Zenna said.

"Don't underestimate him, Hiccup. Mark my words, he'll be back." Eret stated.

"Then we'll be waiting for him." Hiccup stated.

That Night, Zenna Hiccup and Stoick were looking through some old notes his Dad took. "Alright. Alright, come on give me a clue here. Give me a clue, Dad."

"I don't think you're gonna find anything son." Stoick said. "Those notes are mighty old."

While Hiccup looks through the notes, footsteps are heard from above the house and dust falls from the ceiling. Hiccup packs his map and the book away. He looks around his house and suddenly a floorboard creak is heard followed by a silhouette of Grimmel. Grimmel pours water into a mug. "I hope you don't mind if I help myself. This is, uh... quite good."

Hiccup lights up Inferno and Stoick pulled out his sword. "That is impressive. But let me finish my drink."Then she suddenly shoots a dart at Toothless and Stryka, the couple flinches before they collapsed.

"Toothless!"

"Stryka!" Zenna cried.

The two ran towards their friends Grimmel finishes his drink and looks proud of himself. He then loads another dart into his bow."What did you do to them?

"Nothing that they won't sleep off." Then he sits on Stoick's chair." Ahh. Haha. May I? Chief Hiccup, hmm? Do I say Chief Hic-cup or do I just call you Hiccup? What do you prefer?" Hiccup slowly walks closer, with a stern look on his face.

"You have no idea who I am, do you? Uh- ha ha. Well, your father knows of me. Now, there was a chief. One of the greatest dragon hunters to have ever lived! What would he think of you?"

"I think he's doing fine as Chief. Thank you." Stoick said.

Grimmel laughed. "He did it right, you know. Making it his mission to destroy the beasts so that you could grow up in a better world."

"He changed his mind." Zenna said.

"So, let's get to the point. I am the Night Fury killer. I've hunted every last one but yours. You are going to give me those dragons. Or I will-"

"We will never give them up." Zenna and Hiccup stated together.

Grimmel stands up and pushed Hiccup's Inferno and Zenna's Ember out of his way, laughing. He starts walking towards Toothless and Styrka. "You two wish dragons to live free among us, like equals? A toxic notion, my boy. History has shown that we are the superior species. What if word of your misguided ideas were to spread? It would be the undoing of civilization as we... know it. Hmm." Grimmel noticed straw sticking out of Toothless' tail, so he kicks it slightly. This caused Fishlegs to wake up as he was hiding under the covers wearing a Toothless and Stryka disguise.

"Did we get him?" Fishlegs asked and he fainted and fell back to sleep. Hiccup uses his Inferno to throw Grimmel's bow away, "Now!" Hiccup cried.

The Dragon Riders reveal themselves from their covers."Sorry to barge in!" Gobber said.

"You think you can come into my home? Sit in my father's chair? And threaten my dragon? This is Berk. And we have defended our way of life from far worse than you." Hiccup stated.

"Oh. Haha. A fighting spirit, I love it! Only, I'm afraid you're mistaken. You've never seen anything like me!" Grimmerl said.

Grimmel whistled, calling his Deathgrippers to attack the riders. One of Grimmel's Deathgrippers attacks from the roof, which causes Astrid, who was hiding on a wooden beam, to jump down to the floor of the house. "Ah!"
"Astrid, look out!" The Deathgripper gets ready to strike with its tail but misses Astrid who is sitting on the floor. Astrid runs to the others. Grimmel whistles again, making another Deathgripper attack the riders.

Valka: "Look out! Son, get clear!" Valka cried. Astrid ran, just missing the Deathgripper's acid. "Ugh!

"Run!" Gobber cried.

Zenna coughed, smoke filling her lungs, as she scrambled to get out of her best friend's house as it went up in flames.

'And I thought Drago Bludvist was bad enough. Now we've got this lunatic who's the reason why Stryka's the only female Night Fury in existence!' she managed to think before another one of Grimmel's Deathgrippers landed right in front of her. The dragon hissed and, like a flash, its scorpion-like tail lashed out at her!

She yelped and dove out of the way, but not far enough. The Deathgripper's stinger still managed to graze her right side. Almost immediately, Zenna felt her whole body go limp and she collapsed with a groan. She could feel the Deathgripper's venom polluting her bloodstream, numbing her entire body and lulling her into unconsciousness.

'No… No! I refuse to die today! I'm not leaving Eret! I don't want to leave him… I can't leave him…' she thought as she willed her body to move. But she couldn't. She was completely paralyzed. And it was getting really hard to breathe…

Through her blurred vision, Zenna could make out the Deathgripper looming before her, its tail raised to deliver another, more lethal, dose of its venom.

"ZENNA!"

Eret came jumping out of the flames, his dragon-scale armor covered in soot. With a roar, he lunged at the Deathgripper, grabbing onto one of its tusks and pulling it down like a rodeo cowboy. He rushed to Zenna's side and scooped her up into his arms then started running.

"Stay with me, love… Stay with me…" he whispered again and again.

The last thing Zenna remembered was Eret's wide and terrified amber eyes gazing into her own before she blacked out…

She woke up to Stryka licking her face. The one-eyed dragoness let out a happy roar and nuzzled Zenna, purring.

"Hey there, girl…" Groaning, Zenna sat up and felt her right side. Bandages covered the spot where the Deathgripper's stinger had grazed her. Flexing her fingers, she silently thanked the gods that the venom hadn't been potent enough to kill her.

'If I'd gotten stung a second time, that would have been the end of me…' she thought before hearing footsteps.

"Maria?" Zenna breathed out upon seeing her sister. Maria nodded and turned his head to the staircase. "She's awake," she announced.

Elias, Eret and Hiccup came running up the stairs followed by Zenna's parents, Edgar and Henna, and her little brother, Elias II Stoick Fiersome. "Oh thank gods…" Eret breathed out, heading over to Zenna's bedside and embracing her.

"My precious little gemstone…" Edgar murmured, going to Zenna as well and gently stroking his daughter's head.

"Zennwa!" little Elias II, El as he was affectionately called, bawled as Henna carried him to his big sister. Upon being placed in Zenna's arms, he started crying in earnest.

"It's okay, El… I'm okay… Your big sis is okay…" murmured Zenna, kissing El's soft black curls. Elias came over and stroked his sisters' head.

"How are you feeling, Zen?" Hiccup asked softly, his green eyes filled with worry.

Looking at her family and friends' anxious faces, Zenna could tell that something was wrong. "Sore… and furious. That Grimmel doesn't know what he just started," she growled and made a move to get up. "Zen, wait." Eret gently pushed her back down on the bed. "Save your strength," he said gently.

"Eret, I'm fine. I just got grazed. The wound's not too serious," said Zenna, showing him her bandaged side.

"But the Deathgripper's venom was," Hiccup murmured. He clenched his fists. "Their venom can sedate humans and dragons, and they can control its potency. Grimmel, he… he wanted his dragons to kill tonight," he muttered, his face stormy.

"You're lucky I had Deathgripper venom from my Deathgripper friend, Target. That stuff can be deadly if it stays in too long."

Zenna felt El whimper in her arms and glanced at her parents only to see the same expressions of relief and fear on their faces. She felt Eret tighten his grip on her and looked up to see him fighting back tears. She almost couldn't believe it. Apart from the mild sting from her wound, she felt completely fine! And yet…

"I almost died.." Zenna thought to herself.

"Well… I'm alive. That's all that matters, right?" she asked quietly, earning relieved chuckles and nods from everyone.

"You get some rest now, sweetheart," Henna said softly as she tried to take El, but the little boy refused.

"Nuh-uh! Wanna stay wid Zennwa and pwotect her!" El protested, wiping his snot-stained nose.

"Don't worry, El. I've got Elias, Stryka and Eret here to protect me. I'll be back on my feet in no time," Zenna reassured him, gently kissing his forehead.

"Okay…" El let Henna lift him up off his sister's lap.

"Don't cwy now, Uncka Eret. Zennwa's okay. You and Elias gots to protect her now," he told Eret, who gave him a watery smile.

"That I will, El, that I will," Eret promised, rubbing his eyes.

"Count on it." Elias added.

Hiccup, Stryka, and Aurora were the last to leave. Stryka gave her rider one last nuzzle before going downstairs to let Toothless know that Zenna was alright.

"I need some help in making sure those who were also attacked are alright," he said before turning to Zenna and Eret. "I'll gather everybody in the Great Hall in a couple of hours for a meeting. Zen, if you're up for it, you and Eret can attend."

"We'll be there, Hicc," Zenna replied, giving her brother in all but blood a smile and a thumbs-up.

Once her two brothers were gone, Zenna felt Eret shaking. "Eret…?" she said softly.

Eret couldn't stop the sob that tore out of his mouth as he hugged Zenna tightly. "I thought I lost you…" he whimpered, burying his face in Zenna's dark hair.

"But you didn't," said Zenna as she gently cupped Eret's face in her hands. "I'm alive, Eret." She smiled at him.

Eret shook his head. "You don't understand. After we got out, you were already so pale. Then all of a sudden, you let out this rattling gasp and… and you stopped breathing.

"I was terrified, Zen. I was screaming myself hoarse, trying to wake you up, until Hiccup had me get on Toothless with him to take you to Gothi's. She tried every cure, every brew that she knew of, but you still wouldn't take a breath."

Shutting his eyes, Eret pressed his forehead against Zenna's. "I don't want to lose you, love. My heart won't be able to bear it… I won't be able to bear it. First Mum, then Da… I can't lose you too," he whispered brokenly, tears trickling down his cheeks.

"Oh, Eret…" Zenna gently nuzzled him, wiping his tears away. "It's alright, love. You won't lose me. I promised, remember?" she murmured, gently clasping Eret's hands.

She felt for the smooth gold band around the third finger on Eret's left hand.

"I will love and cherish you all the days of my life. You're mine and I'm yours. I will always have your back no matter what. Your happiness is my happiness. Your sorrow is my sorrow, and I will weather any storm with you until it passes. And if Death tries to take me away from you before it's my time, I'll fight him until I get sent back to the world of the living… because I want to be with you for as long as I can," Zenna couldn't help but cry a little herself, as she repeated her marriage vows. "You are the love of my life… and I love you forever."

Eret let out a sound that was a cross between a laugh and a sob and leaned into Zenna. "Only you would be mad enough to fight Death…" he said hoarsely before looking into her one violet eye.

"I promise to love you and cherish you all the days of my life. I am yours and you are mine. I will protect you with all my heart and all my strength. Whenever you are happy, I will also be happy. Whenever you are sad, I will do my best to comfort you until you feel better. Not even Death will keep me from you, because I want to have as much time as I can to be with you. You are my goddess, my princess… No, my queen… and my everything… And I love you forever," he replied, feeling the same kind of love and devotion he had felt when he said those vows for the first time just one month ago… when he and Zenna finally tied the knot.

And that love and devotion he felt for Zenna, the same love and devotion she felt for him, had never waned. If anything, it had gotten much stronger.

Zenna laughed softly then gently pressed her lips against her husband's in a sweet, loving, kiss. They stayed like that, lost in the feel of each other's lips, for about a minute before separating.

"We're going to make Grimmel pay." Eret's amber eyes blazed with determination, resting his hand on top of Zenna's. "He'll rue the day he tried to separate us."

"We will." Resting her hand on top of her husband's, Zenna looked at her own wedding ring, a gold band identical to Eret's.

"And we'll do it, together."
