Her keen blue eyes spotted the corner she need to turn. She cut right and right again right into the inconspicuous hatch that hid her friends' base. As she flew down the shaft, the stormtroopers outside turned to find only empty air, they cursed their failure to catch her and moved on. Astrid's heavily patched brown pants protected her lower body from the friction created by sliding down the tube, Her skirt, made of leather strips and a second cloth layer flapped in the wind.
Astrid landed on the hard metal floor of the landing, a large room with hovering platforms that lowered when a person landed on them, Astrid, however, landed on the ground level and was welcomed by Kelton Creed, a Mandalorian hunter who, originally, was hired by August to help in their struggle against the worldwide DISNEY EMPIRE, but now, he was an unpaid mercenary who was a friend of August. August was Astrid's friend who was the head of the DREAMWORKS INITIATIVE, a sort of underground resistance against DISNEY, who had not only suppressed the world, but also restricted space travel to DISNEY hierarchs. August's DREAMWORKS INITIATIVE was in league with the freedom guild who was political, and tactical sect that was actively and openly revolting against DISNEY, DREAMWORKS however, was not. DREAMWORKS didn't revolt openly and "actively". Now, DISNEY wasn't unreasonable, or "unfair". They didn't attack DREAMWORKS simply because they were allies, DREAMWORKS supplied DISNEY with "Beyond Perfect" weapons, vehicles, droids, cloning facilities, and technologies. She saw not only August in the room but some others; August's amphibious, four-legged girlfriend Kierra, Kelton, who had a habit of quickly traveling in an unknown way, an Intelligence Protection Android known as EVA, and August's buddy, Lucus. Astrid greeted them all, and they greeted her in return. Augst eagerly inspected the contents of the bag she had been carrying. August sighed in relief and spoke to Astrid as he would a loyal friend, "Astrid, I need you to take this to the DISNEY hierarchy and give them this holo-communicator. Also, take Kierra with you. She can be a big help when dealing with politics and specifically DISNEY." Astrid nodded and took the bag from August's desk. "Kierra, come on, let's move," Astrid said coldly but with a twinkle of sarcasm in her eyes. As Astrid and Kierra came through the holographic hatch that hid their base, Astrid took out a small pen-like object that she pressed a button on, and it did a pixilation of her face and when her face refocused it was different, she had black hair and a thinner ace that made her look like a politician, but, to Kierra, and all members of DREAMWORKS, she still looked like herself.
