Warframe x Sekiro One Shot
This is Wolf being reincarnated as a Tenno and his experience as one, with Umbra as his Warframe. It won't be canon wise or anything to Warframe or anything just so you know.
I had this around in my Doc Manager for like almost a year, and just deciding to post this because why not?
"May you live on, and embrace what it means to be human."
Those were the Shinobi's last words to the one he swore to protect before he traversed into the beyond. The ties of immortality were severed, in exchange of his own life, for the Divine Heir's freedom... An exchange worth making.
The Heir now would be able to live a normal life and live through every moment of it until his passing.
As for the One-Armed Wolf, he would wait for whatever fate has in store for him in the beyond. He saw nothing but blackness for a while. He was expecting to be taken into the afterlife. Perhaps, in the depths of hell, considering all the lives he's taken.
However, fate had other plans for him...
Something wasn't right. Wolf felt pain ringing as he came to. His vision was blurry for a long moment, and when it finally focused, he realized he was in a very unfamiliar environment.
It didn't look like Ashina. Was he in the Divine Realm? No, It couldn't be. This place didn't look like anything like the Divine Realm. Wolf could ask himself questions all day, but he had no time to do so.
Wolf started pushing himself to get up when he stopped to stare at a blacked gloved arm. Confused, Wolf stood up then took this moment to take a look at himself. He was wearing... Armor? It looked foreign compared to the armor he's seen the soldiers in Ashina wore. He had a oily black scarf wrapped around his neck. He also noticed the golden ornaments attached to it.
At first, Wolf thought of taking off the armor, but concluded it was impossible as he couldn't find a way to take it off. He didn't feel the armor hinder his movement in anyway. Wolf supposed that was a good sign.
The most notable thing of all was the katana that was hanging at his left hip. Wolf took a moment to inspect it. It was nothing like he's ever seen before. The sheath, the blade, the handle along with that gold ornament identical to the ones attached to his armor. It looked like nothing compared to the usual swords the soldiers in his country used, even his own.
It was then that Wolf heard strange noises coming from some cave that he just now noticed. Out come a strange floating being coming towards him. He didn't think much of it until he sensed danger as the being charged up some sort of laser beam aimed at him. Wolf dodged it with a roll and quickly lunged at the floating thing, slicing it in half with a quick draw of his new weapon. It fell to the ground as life faded from its body.
Wolf examined the being he just killed. 'An apparition perhaps?' He thought. It couldn't be. While it appeared to have no head, its presence alone didn't really scream apparition. Before Wolf could collect any more of his thoughts, more beings strolled in towards him, identical to the floating being he just killed. He was slightly taken aback at more of these things appearing.
It was from that point that Wolf decided that he should find someplace safe before he could establish his current situation. Sword in hand, Wolf assumed a stance, preparing for what's to come.
I chose Umbra Excalibur as Wolf's Warframe because Umbra means Shadow in latin according to the wiki.
I updated my profile just so you can check it if you want.
To the Guest Reviewer: Yes I know it's bad but still it's a one shot. Not like I'm planning on making a full story or anything. Also, I just published this because why the hell not?
