Teaching Harry to talk was going to be a challenge. Holly stood at the doorway of the lounge watching the scene in front of her. Lily reclined on the couch read a book, Remus sat in an armchair also reading, James and Sirius sat on the floor Harry in front of them both trying to get him to say his first word. They had a bet that it would be 'Papa' or 'Padfoot'. But Holly had been coaching Harry for the last two weeks. Secretly of course with a little help from Lily. The two girls knew that it would take a long time before Harry said 'Papa' or 'Padfoot'. No, they had coached him to say something else entirely.

"Come on Harry, you can do it! Say Papa." James coaxed gently.

"Not a chance, Prongs. He's going to say 'Padfoot' no doubt about it." Sirius said with a wolfish grin. Harry frowned confused as to why his father and Uncle Siri were trying to get him to say these words. His eyes moved to his mother who glanced up and smiled at him, before his eyes went to Holly who also smiled widely at the child.

"You can do it Harry, come on. Papa." James coaxed again. Holly glanced at Lily who rolled her eyes at her sister-in-law and shut her book with a snap, sitting up to watch the exchange for a little longer. Holly moved and stood now at the back of the couch and watched Remus carefully out of the corner of her eye, he had to give a reaction to get the reaction. Remus shook his head slowly, shut his book also and sat up that gathered Harry's attention very quickly. Holly shared a smile with Lily. Showtime.

"MOONY!" the child cried causing the men in the room to freeze. Moony?

"Remus?" James asked looking at the werewolf, who looked just as shocked. Holly and Lily were holding in their laughter but just barely. They had coached the child to say 'Moony' just to mess with James and Sirius' heads. The tiny child crawled his way over to the werewolf.

"Moony!" Harry cried once more at the stunned man, before holding his arms up asking to be picked up to which – now with a smile – Remus did just that. As he swung Harry up he tossed the child into the air catching him with ease, causing Harry to squeal with delight. He did it several times Harry's squeals echoing through the house.

"Prongs, your child is broken." The women could no long hold in their laughter leaving their partners to wonder what was so funny.
