A day later, Tarzan makes friends with Glenn and Matt's niece, a feisty young female gorilla named Terkina, daughter of Erin and Matt's headstrong but somehow younger brother Jock the silverback. One day, Terk and two of her cousins, Matt's sons Dungy and Flynt, go to a huge pool where an old saurian lives.
Terk tells Tarzan he can hang out with them and with a bunch of elephants including a toddling calf named Tantor whose parents are dead, due to being killed by poachers. Eventually, He then befriends the rather depressed Tantor and the herd calms down.
