Nope. Don't own, never had and never will - VZ
The moment Sasuke pressed his lips against Sakura's, she gasped, completely taken off guard by his sudden movement. Not that he could blame her; the act itself really was spontaneous. Which was strange, for Sasuke was not the type to be impulsive. In fact, he was the exact opposite, preferring careful panning with precise calculations than randomly charging into any situation, much like a blonde haired dobe he knew.
Yet whenever it concerned the pinkette currently blushing in his arms, he couldn't find it in himself to simply care.
For some odd reason he cannot name, the youngest Uchiha found great satisfaction of the redness in her cheeks and the smooth feel of her lips.
Everything about her was addictive.
Her fire.
Her anger.
Her soft body.
He stroked her bottom lip with his tongue before passing through the seam of her lips, causing the blush on her cheeks to flare once more.
Sasuke used one arm to clutch her lithe body closer, leaving no room between them while his other hand came up to grip the back of her neck, ensuring no escape from his form and desire.
Muffled words left her mouth however his lips and tongue made sure she couldn't voice out any objections.
"Give in Sakura."
Green eyes widened at his words, which were whispered so lowly and huskily.
Sasuke returned to nipping, sucking and plundering her sweet mouth before speaking again, making sure to entice her onto his side, leaving his brother's.
"You can't deny me, no matter how hard you try."
In the background, he could vaguely hear the distraught voices of several men, most likely Sakura's newly acquired admirers, ones that he had every intention of sending away with this rather fervent display. Unfortunately, his kiss with the pink haired medic was cut short with knee to his groin, effectively cutting off his train of thought.
"Agh…"
A guttural groan left his lips, letting his hands slip from Sakura's form and onto his cloak. As tempting as it was to clutch certain parts of his anatomy, Sasuke couldn't, not unless he wanted to look even more foolish than before.
A brief silence filled the air, however it was quickly broken by maniacal laughter which spread as the moments past. Soon, almost everyone was laughing along with Hidan, except for Karin and Juugo who found anything but humor evident in their leader's situation.
"Bitch!" Just when the red head was about to slap the pinkette for hurting her beloved-down there of all places! How would she help him revive the all powerful Uchiha clan in such a state?!-a hand grabbed her wrist, halting her actions.
"Oh hell no. Don't ruin the show, it was just getting to the good part." Suigetsu smirked mischievously and returned his attention to the pair currently arguing, fully intent on holding down the loudmouth so he and everyone else could watch the pompous Sasuke learn a thing or two from the pink haired medic.
All the men surrounding the area were watching in a mixture of interest and amusement. But a select few were more than shocked at Sakura's brutal dismissal of Sasuke's attention. Hadn't the pinkette strived for his love since they had first met years ago? The Konoha nin could only watch in rapture as their blossom showed them otherwise.
Sakura had finally reached her breaking point.
Sure, she could take heated stares and fervent confessions.
Maybe even some lingering touches here and there, above clothes of course.
But this?
Randomly kissing her without her consent in front of everyone?
No
Way
In
Hell.
There was absolutely no way she would let anyone touch her body unless she decided who she truly wanted to be with. Letting any man, no matter how sinfully attractive, kiss her this many times was not right. In fact, it would be what Ino-pig would call a slut. True, it's not like she asked to be kissed. But it felt like every time Sakura allowed a man touch her without breaking a few bones, she was leading them on. And she of all people knew how awful it feels to have false hope for someone's love.
Emerald fire flickered to life in Sakura's eyes, exciting the pained man before her, much to her dismay.
"You have no right to touch me Sasuke, do yourself a favor and stay away before I crush your bones into powder."
Never in her life had the pinkette thought she would say such brutal things to her former teammate. However, after witnessing the destruction and wrath he was capable of, She simply couldn't find it in herself to love him again.
The throbbing in the lower half of his body slowly ebbed away, giving Sasuke the opportunity to stand straighter and closer than before.
"Who are you to dictate my actions?"
The way he questioned her was infuriating. His voice was surprised and so was his expression, as if the very notion was ridiculous.
Pink brows furrowed and green eyes glared.
"Who am I?" Her voice cracked slightly at the last syllable, emotion brewing inside her being like a cyclone, strong and formidable.
Just like the time in the inn where Itachi had confessed and kissed her for the first time, Sakura felt a torrent of feelings that have been bottled up much too long.
It didn't matter where they were, who was listening or how idiotic she would sound.
After years of waiting for her first love to return, watching her lifelong friend constantly put himself in danger for her sake and training endlessly so that she would no longer be known as the useless girl, Sakura couldn't keep it all in anymore.
She was going to tell Sasuke Uchiha exactly how she felt.
"First of all, I am your teammate, not some fangirl who kisses the ground you walk on so don't treat me like one." Several chuckles followed her statement, most of them coming from Suigetsu who was pointing at Karin like a madman.
Sasuke smirked at her haughtily, arrogance oozing off his every pore.
"Not too long ago, I recall you tailing my every move, watching and waiting, the epitome of a fangirl."
Sakura grit her teeth briefly before growling out her reply, sounding much like an hungry lioness for her prey.
"That was before I realized what an asshole you actually are."
In the distance, Itachi smirked, enjoying the sight of his younger brother getting exactly what he deserved. It seemed like the older Uchiha was sharing similar thoughts with the leaf nin, for they were thoroughly amused with the show. And as much as Naruto wanted to support his teammate who had once left them on his journey for revenge, he couldn't, not when Sakura deserved to put him in his place.
In a way, she was speaking on the behalf of all those who had loved Sasuke during his stay in the leaf village, which was why the blonde remained, seated on the ground, his blue eyes never leaving the heated argument.
"I'm surprised how you can easily judge me, an innocent man, while you smile around those criminals." Sasuke glanced at the former Akatsuki, anger swirling in the depths of black and red.
"What a hypocritical thing to say. It's not like your hands are clean of blood. In fact, they're most probably the dirtiest."
"I don't deserve your anger." Was his reply, which was spoken in such a casual manner.
"Like hell you don't!"
"Tch…stop being such a pest."
Ignoring his rude comment, Sakura went on, her voice coated in venom and absolute rage.
"We loved you! Naruto, Kakashi and everyone else back home supported your ungrateful ass! Instead of saying 'Thank you' like a normal person, you go off with some snake bastard to kill the last of your family!"
The pinkette's hands fisted in the folds of his shirt, drawing him closer so that she could look him in the eyes (not the smartest thing to do considering he has sharingan, but she was far too gone in her wrath to listen to reason)
"When you left that night, I-I broke."
For a moment, her eyes softened in memory of her shattered heart.
But just when Sasuke was going to speak, Sakura collected herself, a clear sign she was not the same girl he left on the bench years ago. Gone was the timid and pathetic girl, in her place was a headstrong kunoichi who had more power than ever before.
"So I trained, hard and endlessly for months. Not just to get stronger or so that I won't be known as the useless girl who was friends with the kyuubi container and missing Uchiha."
Although he was sorely tempted to deliver a swift blow to the back of her neck to silence her once more, Sasuke restrained himself, enraptured and curious by her words.
"I trained so that once I was strong enough, I would find you then tell you how much I hated you for abandoning us, for abandoning me."
Sakura took a breath and glared at Sasuke, looking so deep into his red gaze she left like she was drowning in a sea of blood.
"But now?"
Delicate fingers detached themselves from his clothes, leaving them wrinkled and creased.
"I just want to forget ever loving you."
Silence followed her statement.
"Just like that?" He wondered aloud, curious as to why all her anger had suddenly evaporated.
"Yes, just like that. I'm tired of fighting and I finally realized you are a heartless man not worthy of caring-"
"And yet you can find room in your heart for my brother." He sneered the last word as if it left a foul taste in his mouth.
"And what's so wrong with that?!"
"He's a murderer that's why." Red eyes hardened at her tone and he raised his to match hers.
"All of us here have killed before." Sakura replied quickly, unwilling to relent and give into his ideas.
"He killed my family-"
"They were his family too! I'm sure it was hard for him as well, don't act the victim here Sasuke. It doesn't suit you."
Even though Sakura stepped back and relinquished her hold on his shirt, They were still quite close, their wills battling for dominance and neither was backing down any time soon. Unfortunately, All the shouting was rather draining and the pinkette wanted nothing more than to rest near the warmth of the fire. And so, she breathed in, accepting her rage and all the hardships of the past. Then, she exhaled, letting go all of the negative feelings she had been harboring for the Uchiha for so long.
After doing so, she felt….lighter. A sensation she liked.
All this happened in less than a second, giving Sasuke more than enough time to come up with a reply.
"You'll come back, you always do."
A scoff left her lips, the sound was mocking and harsh, just how he liked it.
"Not anymore." Was her icy remark.
But before leaving, Sakura spoke once more, her eyes meeting his for a brief moment.
"Just to answer your question from before…."
The biting anger that shone in her green eyes turned into something else, something brighter. As she spoke, her voice was strong and unwavering, much like her performance as a ninja. Not that he'd ever admit it of course.
"I am Sakura Haruno, apprentice of the Hokage and kunoichi of the leaf village."
A smirk appeared on her lips, attracting the attention of almost all the men in the area. They watched in rapture as the girl who had once been the timid lamb had now grown up into one hell of a woman.
"I have every right to dictate your actions Sasuke Uchiha, don't you ever forget it."
Hope you all like it :)
I would apologize for this melodramatic chapter but I just couldn't resist. It was the perfect time for Sakura to snap. Imagine, you were left alone, humiliated after offering your love to someone you've been pining for and after years of nothing, he suddenly wants you for no apparent reason other than using you to hurt his brother.
That's why I think our medic deserves to vent out the emotions she's been repressing for years. Mmkay, I'm done :) Please leave me reviews and tell me what you guys think :)
With lotsa love, VZ
