I had to re-write this a few times and more than likely I might end up revising it. Either way I think this is a good set up for what I want to present in this story. AU part begins towards the end as I think it will do the KiGo part justice in a sense.
DarkSpace: I'll work more with Kim in this and a future Kim I'll think about once I get some ideas coming. If you have a profile please shoot me a PM if you have ideas. This goes out to anyone who has ideas I'll gladly bounce some with you.
Enjoy With Love~ Dresner
Shego awoke cuddling her pillow with a slight drool dripping down her chin. She rubs and sleeps out of her eyes and runs her hands through her hair till one of her drones, or so she thought.
"It's too early." Shego replies as she sips her coffee in a daze. "Perfect coffee by the way. Finally the science geeks programmed my blend correctly, took them long enough."
She steps out of bed and throws on her robe to begin her morning ritual. A fit chick at heart, she begins with yoga to assure her chi were for anything that might come at her today. Too much of her own surprise she is actually in a good mood today. Maybe it was because she actually slept well or the fact that her mind was still on the beach with him, she couldn't tell. The Supreme One had her own ideas, but she was surprisingly quiet this morning to much of Shego's enjoyment. After finishing her morning yoga she showers off and begins putting herself together for another day.
"It's good to see you well rested, Sweetie." A cheerful voice says from the doorway.
"Sweetie?" Shego asks in a confused tone. No one she knew used that word, well besides her mother.
She turns to the doorway and leaning against the door frame was someone she hadn't seen in what seemed to be an eternity.
"Oh… It's you." Shego says in a regretful tone as she turns back to the mirror as she preps to blow drys her hair. "I was wondering when you would show up. Usually the Supreme One shows up these days."
The figure says nothing and only places Shego's coffee cup by the sink as she begins blow drying her hair. Shego tries to ignore her or drown her out, but for some reason unknown to her the woman didn't say anything and just stared at her through the mirror. The innocent green eyes peering through her soul through the foggy mirror. Shego could feel her gaze through the fog. Judging her every move and action with a smug gaze under those puppy dog eyes. As she finishes she pushes her out of the way to head for her walk in closet to grab her outfit for today.
The Supreme One appears eventually in a chair by the closet door to glare at the figure as Shego changes.
"Funny to see you here." The Supreme One boasts as she crosses her leg in a power pose. "I thought that toy of Electronique's took you away or at least locked you up. Maybe Shego isn't completely in control after all, hmm?"
The Supreme One contempt for the figure seemed to be irrational to the point that Shego could almost picture the arrogant tyrant's eyes turning blood red at the contempt she has for her. "Who let the school teacher out, Shego?"
Shego ignores her tirade on the woman, Miss Go didn't deserve any of that and even she knew that.
Miss Go, a name she hasn't heard in almost two decades, seemed like a fever dream to her. When one of the cheesy old villians from her Team Go days attacked her and her brothers with a special ray to turn them evil, a unlikely event transpired, She became good. It was strange to see Miss Go again, still in her semi professional school attire.
Shego continues to ignore her rant against Miss Go as she finishes getting dressed. She says nothing as she walks out of the room in an attempt to get far away from the petty rambling of The Supreme One against Miss Go. The snarky remarks just weren't happening today after last night's dream. It didn't make sense to her that she managed to get good nights sleep and yet she still felt like her mind wasn't all there, as if the lights were on but no one was home.
Oh wait they are. One is quiet as a mouse while the other is bitching just to hear herself speak. Good morning Migraine!
The sound of crashing waves and the scent of sea salt and tanning oil is calling her name. Kim was calling her name. Though her body was in her citadel and her mind was at war, her soul was still on that beach laying with Kim in her arms. It almost made her sick to admit it to herself that a dream about her arch-rival made her heart sing and put a spring in her step, but it did. Shego smiles a little, a genuine happy smile, as she thought about holding her Kimmie close to her.
Her Kimmie?
Of course she's mine. She'll always be mine whether she knows it or not.
Stepping into the throne room she couldn't hide her smile as she took to her throne. Drakken watched from afar and assured himself that her smile came from either her power or his humiliation. Shego says nothing to him, but motions him to go away. He complies with inaudible grumbles only to be shocked by Shego. Only she, and she alone, could make sharky under the breath remarks in this world of hers.
Once he's gone the two sides of her appear at her flanks sitting on the chairs. Miss Go sat contently staring outside admiring the beautiful emerald sky while The Supreme One filed her nails.
"I'm surprised you're withering away like the spineless flower you are." The Supreme One says to Miss Go with her back turned.
Miss Go ignores her and continues to stare out the window over Shegoton. Shego turns to Miss Go to see a look of almost childlike wonder as she gazes at the drones racing across the skies over the Shegoton Skyline. To her it must have appeared to have shooting stars racing one another to the earth below. The sun never really rose in her world anymore giving off the feeling of endless night, the irony never escaped her. Miss Go lets off a nostalgic sigh and rests her side against the throne holding herself. Then it hit Shego, She was recalling Go City at night when she was still on the Team.
Shego lets out a nostalgic sigh as well, "I feel like I'm in Go City again, on top of that eye sore Go Tower. Bleh I hated that tower, but I loved the city especially at night."
The Supreme One ignored her commentary and continued to file her nails in an attempt to ignore her as well.
"I remember sitting on top of the tower at night trying to clear my head after every mission. God, my Brother, I swear they would have killed me with their stupidity. Or at least Hego with his self righteousness." Shego says resting her head on her supporting arm on the little amount of arm rest she could get from Miss Go. Miss Go taps Shego on her shoulder and motions her to sit with her. Reluctantly she complies and takes the spot by her to better enjoy the view. This was possibly the first time she truly ever looked at her city, not just a glance, a firm look at admiring it not as a piece of her empire like the Supreme One. But as a city.
Shego leans on Miss Go unintentional and quickly recoils back upright only for Miss Go to giggle like a schoolgirl. The bubbly teacher raps her arm around her and gives her permission, in a way, to come back. Her eyes were welcoming and warm, something Shego wished she had again.
"Up there, On the roof." Shego continues. "I would watch the stars and the planes race across the sky, or at least the ones I could see over the Go City Glow. Some nights I would take the Go Jet and just fly around looking for somewhere nice to land or just to clear my head. Thinking back on it now I think I might have been looking for someone up there."
As she finishes her thought the sight of two drones diving to her citadel courtyard caught her attention. She leaps to her feet and taps on a control panel to gain access to the feed of the drones. To her surprise it was her… Kim Possible.
"It looks like someone from your past is coming back to haunt you Shego." The Supreme One says foreboding. "Make or break, firefly. What's it going to be? Oh wait cats got the schoolgirl's tongue and Ms. Wannabe dictator is weaker than pudding. You might as well let Drakken handle your dirty work."
Miss Go disappears leaving only Shego and The Supreme One on the throne. Shego takes her seat on the throne and rubs her temples trying to fight her oncoming migraine.
"I mean, you might as well let that ripped blue berry do something other than be your punching bag." The Supreme One continues as she admires her nails. "It's not like you've fought anyone since you became the Supreme One. You might break a nail!"
"WILL YOU SHUT UP?!" Shego shouts. "All you do is criticize and belittle till my head wants to explode! I'm trying to come up with a plan here and what do you do? Nothing. You're lazy and worthless! You pick, you prawd, and poison everything around you till it's nothing like… Like…."
The gentle tap of a feminate hand draws her away from giving the killing blow to The Supreme One. Miss Go stood looking her in the eyes with a fresh coffee and a puppy dog pout. Shego halts her rant and feels her heart melt at the sight of her goody-goody side. She rolls her eyes and accepts it.
"Talk to Kimmie." Miss Go says innocently. "Invite her over and just talk, like we did a long time ago."
The Supreme One rolls her eyes heavily and expresses her disdain with a loud grunt at Miss Go's nativity.
"I don't think it will be that easy, cupcake." Shego hisses as she takes a seat on her throne. "Things aren't what they were then when you were at the wheel. Sometimes I wish they were, honestly."
"Well Shego, you never know." Miss Go replies innocently. "I didn't know if Kimmie was going to accept me, but she did. Really though I don't think she'll be the problem."
"If you're bold enough to say that, at least say my name." The Supreme one hisses with malice in her voice.
"Oh no it's not you, Supreme One." Miss Go counters looking at Shego. "It's her."
"Why should I humiliate myself like that?" Shego replies with a deadpan tone.
"I think the saying goes, 'It's the words left unsaid that can be more painful than the words actually spoken." Miss Go replies with a warm smile.
"Words hurt, huh?" The Supreme One adds her tone full of knives. "Letting a brat destroy the time stream because 'it's the right thing' kills us and you."
Shego ponders the idea as she gazes at the Tempus Simia as it hovers lazily in its display.
I hate to agree with either of them, but maybe the school teacher is right. Besides… I have nothing but time.
With a swift hand she clicks on her communicator to contact the drones, "Bring the girl to me."
Kim couldn't get over the irony of the attitude adjustment center being the high school as the drone carried both Ron and herself through the sky. She chuckles nervously as they come closer to it. Nothing really changed from her time to this dystopian nightmare of Shegoton. Only small changes like the name and the large black and green flag flying above it. Dropped in a containing area with several others they are herded through the school like cattle into classrooms, all under the watchful eye of drones and armed guards.
It became hard to tell the difference between man and machine as the glowing eyes of their gas masks and that of the drones were the same.
Who knew Shego was into grimdark?
The door shuts with a loud metallic click and an older woman takes over the classroom. Her selfish teal eyes gave her identity away as her old rival, Bonnie Rockwaller.
Twenty years didn't do much for her looks or her resting bitch face.
Kim ignores her as she begins to brief the class on why they are here. She notices Brick Flag in front of her and how time wasn't good to him either. The scream of a man and an empty spot in the classroom pushed her attention back to Bonnie as a large TV screen dropped from the ceiling to play a cringy video called ``The Supreme One and you."
Personality cult, matching uniform style, soul crushing reeducation camps, an ever present robot guard force looming everywhere, and a cringe informational video about yourself with Drakken in the first scene… Shego… I thought you had style.
She folds her arms in disappointment as Shego appears on screen after shocking Drakken off screen.
What happened to you?
Kim thinks back to a few moments ago when they approached Shego's citadel. Ron was thoroughly impressed with her classic arrangement, but she couldn't help but feel as if it wasn't truly Shego. It was retro and Shego is thoroughly a straightforward futurist.
She looks so… Strange…. Like I just don't recognize her here. I can't put my finger on it. She enjoys her status, that's for sure, but something just seems off.
Towards the end of the video she notices her tone switch to glee as she declares "And it worked! So it's my world now!". The shift came to a surprise since she never heard Shego's voice like that before. The girly giggle at the end was like a double sided blade as it cut into her heart with its cuteness and its malicious undertone. Shego loved being evil, it was her passion in life after all.
"She sounds so… So…" Kim starts only to be interrupted by Ron.
"Crazy, all up in herself, narcissistic, megalomaniac dictator?" Ron says listing down words he could barely understand.
"Happy." Kim says as the drones began checking everyone around her for brain patterns.
"Yes Supreme One." The drone says in its irry monotone as it came to Kim. The strange drone covers her in a net and carries her out of the facility moments before the wall near them explodes.
"Hey! What in the world is going on! Where are you taking me?!" Kim demands as they take to the skyline.
"The Supreme One requested for you specifically. " The drone replies in its robotic tone.
How did she know I was here? Maybe that ray at the school sent her a message or something? I hope Ron will be OK.
She rolls around in the net as the drone throws her around like a captured fish as it flies through the air to the citadel. Through a back entrance the drone takes her through Shego's citadel to her throne room. The large throne room was crowded with great stone busts of The Supreme One with banners above them and the grand prize, The Tempus Simia, hovering in a display toward the center of the room in the looming eye of a great throne above it. The drone flew her towards this throne till she was almost level with it. A flash of green light catches her off guard temporarily blinds her, but soon they adjust to see the confident glare of her arch rival: Shego.
"Shego." Kim growls from her awkward position.
"Kimmie…" Shego says as she looks over Kim's situation. "It's good to see you again."
A bit of explanation: I understand that Miss Go was a alternate Shego as the effects of the Attitudeinator in the episode "Stop Team Go" removed all her evil making her into that. So the idea is that Miss Go is a part of her, Angel on her shoulder if you will. We're all fighting something on the inside and no matter the name we give them Its always the same. Everything will be alright, trust me :)
